B-Town Halo Grill

Halo Grille Hits the Spot (and Lets the Dogs Come Too!) Halo Grille might be in B-Town, but it’s running with top-shelf flavor and serious small-town charm. The name fits. After one bite of that burger, I wasn’t sure if I was still in Alabama or had accidentally wandered into a gourmet food truck run by really kind people who love flavor and hospitality. Let’s start with the burger. Juicy, stacked right, perfectly seasoned. You know that rare moment when you take a bite and everything just stops for a second? Yeah, that happened. My buddy got the huevos rancheros and immediately declared, “This is exactly what I was hoping for.” No notes. Just satisfaction. We sat outside and it was perfect. The patio is shaded and inviting, and big bonus: they’re pet-friendly. So our four-legged travel companion got to enjoy the breeze and the occasional dropped fry (strictly by accident, of course). The staff was super chill and welcoming, the vibe was great, and even though the food came out quickly, it tasted like it had been made with care. You can tell they actually like what they do here, and it shows. All in all, Halo Grille is the kind of place you hope to stumble upon—laid-back, tasty, welcoming, and happy to let you bring the pup along for the ride. We'll definitely be back.

Usually when I see the like fusion type restaurants I get a bit leery. But this place hit the spot. It was super healthy but I felt like I ate tasty food and left full. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl. It was legit. Good portion. Good veggies. Tasty chicken marinade. Awesome rice. All around dope! Server was kind and attentive but not overbearing. Totally would reccomend and return. Clean vibe. Chill music and it looked like there are a ton of options for what you’re interested in. I’m gonna head back and get some breakfast for lunch!!

My husband and I had an appointment near by and we hadn’t eaten so we thought we would try somewhere new. Cute little place, clean, food was delicious and excellent service. Can’t wait to come back and try their chilaquiles.

I wanted to have a light meal with my hubby, so I stopped by here on Sunday afternoon. The street where the store was located was crowded with cars, but luckily, I was able to park. I could sit down right away because it was past lunchtime inside the store. The atmosphere inside the store was very good and the staff felt good. We looked at the menu, and everything was from breakfast to brunch to dinner. Mexican and American food. We ordered three tacos (three kinds of meat, and rice and beans. ) We shared and ate it, and it was just the right amount and tasted good. I want to come hungry next time.

Starving when we landed in SeaTac, I googled a place nearby with good ratings (above 4.5). Halo delivers! Healthy, fresh and eclectic blend of Mexican and Asia with a PNW flair. I had the salmon teriyaki bowl which came with a big piece of grilled salmon covering a pile of jasmine rice and half the bowl was a nice veggie blend of cabbage, carrots and broccoli. The sauce on the fish and the veg was delicious. My hubby had the “Wet” burrito with carnitas. A huge burrito arrived covered with Salsa Rojas. Delicious! Topped it all off with a Carmel shake to share on the ride home. Thick and delicious! Staff was warm, friendly and efficient.

Now I know where it is. I will most definitely be coming back. I went with my family. They saved us from waiting over an hour at another spot in Burien. They gave amazing service today. With smiles and laughs. I got the Huevos Rancheros. Which was flavorful and plated beautifully. My sister had the chilaquiles verdes. It's a small place but clean and comfortable. I highly recommend!!!

Ordered takeout.. Cod Tacos, Spicy Chicken Mac n Cheese, side of fries. The tempura batter on the cod was delightful. The fries were not good.. They were dry, hard and stale tasting.. They tasted like day old fries that had been reheated. The Mac n Cheese was fine but I wouldn't order it again. The cheese sauce could have been less saucy and more cheesy in my opinion.

This place is amazing. Real ingredients and the flavor is delicious. Super clean and open ambiance. I came to work on my computer while I had dinner and it was perfect. The waitress was super friendly and helpful with choosing what to get. Loved her suggestion! I'll definitely be back soon!

We came here on a whim after playing frisbee golf nearby. It was Sunday afternoon and there were probably only two other parties eating inside. I ordered some tacos (haven't had any since moving here from LA) and I'd say these tacos are good. I had it with the salsa roja which had a nice flavor to it, not too spicy but it had a bite at the end. I'd definitely come back so I can try the other items on the menu . Also our waitress was very kind and attentive. By the end we also noticed people coming in and ordering for pickup / to go, she handled all patrons with professionalism and ease. Lastly, I really liked the vibe and look of the place. Very clean and colorful.

Great little place. Great service, friendly, fast and good food. I had the classic Benedict and added carne asada to them. Highly recommend. Fries were surprisingly good too. Also had a fat tire.

Best fish & chips and clam chowder of our week-long Puget Sound stay! The fish was extremely fresh, super friendly staff, and very affordable prices for the quality they are serving! Will definitely be back on my next trip :)

I think the owner cooks everything. Every dish I've had just come with such attention to detail and tastes exceptional. Everything is always seasoned perfectly. We started coming at happy hour because it's such a good deal but now it's just where we go. I've had 5 or 6 different things and many several times. Today is a weekend so I'm enjoying the eggs Benedict.

This was my wife and I's first time eating here. Super cute place! We welcomed with smiles and felt safe amongst the pride flags all around. We also thought hey! BTown is perfect for a couple bisexuals , lol. My only issue is how unbelievably disappointing this burger was. I ordered the American Cheeseburger with onion only and added a fried egg. She had the huevos con chorizo and we ordered 2 diet cokes. It is advertised as a 1/4 lb patty, but as you can see in the photo it's about the same thickness of the fry. Very very thin. Think McDouble size. Our waitperson asked if "medium" was my preferred doneness to which I said yes. What arrived was this very hard and dry sad little patty. It was served but it did not give. Seemed as if they were trying to do a smash burger but with a preformed patty. I ended up eating the fried egg, onions and bun, and some of the fries. I gave my wife my wallet to pay while I went outside for a moment. A different waitperson came and my wife told them about my burger and that it was disappointing. Their response was that It was my fault for not ordering it dressed because that's what makes the bun/ it juicy? And that if we came back again, they promised it wouldn't be like that. To be honest I don't think we will be back, but perhaps this was just an off day for the grill cook? It's always a bit of a let down spending $40+(including tip) for only half of your order being correct and then to be blamed for the other half. I later noticed that the second waitperson took off one of the drink and the fried egg, which was nice but too late, I think.

We enjoyed a midafternoon meal of delicious comfort food. My friend had the Chilaquiles Rojos with eggs blended into the dish. He says it's the best he's ever had! I had the Alaska cod tacos. Lightly breaded with a delicious sauce and slaw. We can't wait to go back to try their dessert menu! Friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

First time here and I'm sorry I didn't come sooner! Our server was amazing- very friendly and warm! She was very attentive and asked if we wanted ice in our water, offered sauces, and refills throughout our visit. I honestly think best service that I've experienced in a long time. Food was pretty good- I appreciated the assortment of sauces available. Coffee was ok. I got a cheeseburger and it was tasty. Fries seemed nicely seasoned. Rest of the table ordered sopitas, carne asada fries, and the carne asada tacos. They forgot the tortillas but quickly corrected it without asking. I was told that the carne asada had a very generous amount of cheese sauce and meat, that the the sopitas had a good flavor, and that the tacos were good too. Will definitely come back to try some other goodies!

The service was excellent and friendly. The menu was a decent variety both offerings and culturally. Clean and relaxed. I recommend this little spot. Hidden gem in Burien.

I love this place! Seating is comfortable and easy. Servers are friendly and it's located in the heart of downtown burien. I frequent this place often, food is always good. Portion sizes are awesome too! Every once in a while I try other dishes on the menu; however, my go to is the shrimp tacos. It never gets boring or old. Bit bummed they don't have sweet tea, but that's just my personal preference. They got other great drink options as well.

Food was great. Unique menu with a little something for everyone. Everything we ordered was very good and done well. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly.

The space is cute and clean, and the staff was friendly but obviously the food is why you want to come here. They have a great selection of burgers, salads, and American style breakfasts, but I can't review those because I can't stop eating their tacos, chorizo and eggs breakfast, and carne asada fries. If you are missing southern Arizona/California Mexican food or are a fan of Mexican food in general, you gotta try this place.

Best huevos Rancheros I've had in a very long time! Service was great. I like that they serve both American and Mexican food. Great good!

My husband and I had burgers from this restaurant. The burgers were very delicious We loved the onion rings and fries they have delicious tartar sauce. The burgers are big next time we will split a burger.

Came upon this restaurant just walking around in Burien. So glad I did! Breakfast is served all day and I had the Mexican Chorizo Hash which was delicious. I also wanted to try the spicy Mac and cheese which was equally delicious and definitely spicy. My wife had the Wild Beast burger and loved it. There were about six more things on the menu we wanted to try so we'll definitely be coming back. Pricing was reasonable. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant was very clean.

This is our second time here I absolutely love it. The food is always so fresh, hot and amazing. Service is good to and the place is cute and clean. Great traditional Mexican breakfast

Delicious breakfast! Found a place that satisfies both of our palates: Denver omelette for him and a vegetable-forward smoked salmon avocado toast for me! (I'd suggest forgoing the dressing... it was flavorful enough that it didn't need it.). Our server was happy and helpful, and we got to sit outside and enjoy the almost-spring weather. We will definitely be back another morning!

We have ordered food twice from Halo Grill. The first order, shrimp tacos, chicken teriyaki and fish and chips was delicious. The second order, Reuben and double smash burger, not so good. We had to order sides, which we didn't want. The Reuben was good, but the smash burger was awful. There was so much sauce on it that it was impossible to pick up and eat. Multiple napkins were required. The meat was over-powered by the sauces to the point that it was tasteless. So disappointing. The fries were soggy, but the dog liked them.

Amazing food, AMAZINGLY nice servers, great service, and no wait for Sunday brunch?! Pinch me. The chorizo hash was perfection. I'll be back

We've gotten delivery twice now. It was so good the first time, I decided to try a benedict this time - the dish by which all other dishes are judged! Color me impressed. The eggs arrived poached correctly and the hollandaise was packed in a small side container to keep the bread from getting soggy. We put it together and SHWING! The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and the delivery has been great. Definitely eat here.

I really enjoy it here. I had this burger which had elk and 2 other different meats ground up and was amazing.salads here are super good. Breakfast is good and the service is good to. Always a great time here.

We ordered Steak & eggs and smoked salmon avocado toast! I was surprised when i got my avocado toast since it looked more like a salad. Everything tasted great!! The only con i had was the restroom was freeeeezing cold. Service was great tho!

Fast casual restaurant. Great lunch spot - We had the club sandwich with blue cheese and the impossible quinoa bowl. Both had fresh ingredients and prepared well. I'm planning to come back for dinner. The service was outstanding - thank you Amber.

I tried B-Town Halo Grill today. I would say it is good not great. I ordered the Sweet & Sour Prime Steak bowl. Highs: For lunch it was a good portion and the vegetables were fresh. Slaw was tasty. Spicy and flavorful. Lows: Meat says "prime" but very chewy/overcooked and once piece was all fat. And the price was the hardest party. I only got this dish and with tax and tip (15% i might add as very simple service) it came out to be $20+. For lunch. $20. Stung. I want to support the local tenant but wow, that is just too much for a take out lunch.

One of the best restaurants I have been to in a while! We had shrimp tacos, fried chicken salad, chicken teriyaki and spicy macaroni and cheese. All of it was fantastic! Highly recommend.

Really excited to have this place in the neighborhood! So many menu options. We tried the chicken teriyaki bowl and a bacon cheeseburger. Both were excellent. Teriyaki was flavorful, chicken was cooked well, and really liked that it comes with a good mix of both veg/salad and rice. The burger was also good, liked the bun and sauce, crispy bacon, and the fries were great! Nice and crispy even though we got it to go. Will definitely be back to try other options, and imagine this will get added in to the regular lunch rotation. Give it a try!

Ordered to go but service was super nice, Alaskan Cod tacos was very filling and super flavorful and delicious!! Best fish tacos I've ever had!!

such a cute, little place!! we got huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito, they were both so yummy we are def coming back. our server was super sweet and the prices are affordable.

Staff was very kind! Food was delicious m! Menu was great, my picky family was able to find a dish they would each eat. Only down side is that it is a little spendy.

This place is stuck in a moment in time where things were once good. It is so refreshing to be in a local eatery that has phenomenal food and even better customer service. Truly a gem in our community.

Food is good but the smash burger is a knife and forker. The grease from the burger and grilled onions makes it almost impossible to eat even with the wrapper.

Delicious blackened salmon tacos and salad; our friend ordered the Reuben, being from back east noting that it is a good test sandwich. She approved. We'll be back for the interesting Mexican breakfast menu.

A great little breakfast place in B-town! The staff is friendly, patient, and attentive. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The menu leans toward healthy with enough not so healthy choices to make it tasty if you are so inclined. I don't know who the chef is, but they were quick, all the food was ready at the same time, and it arrived at the table hot! We will be back!

It is easy to overlook this place because the logo looks like it might be a computer store (like a windows 95 logo or something) but we checked it out the other day for breakfast and everyone was super happy with their meal. I got the benedict and it delivered on what you want for a classic bennie. They were fast too! My sister enjoyed her huevos rancheros and my daughter loved the pancakes with fruit. This is a good alternative to our usual brunch locations. Give them your business! I hear their lunch is great too. Drip coffee was on point. Hit the spot.

Called twice - slow to pick up (which is valid if staffing is tough). Food was very sub par - used melted/liquid cheese for carne asada fries so it's all you could taste. Some people may like that, I did not. Got take out so I didn't really feel the ambiance but it is seemingly a casual place with little no aesthetic.

We were so impressed with Claudia who took her time to explain how the owners use fresh ingredients and make everything by hand. Their menu offers a large variety of items and is reasonably priced for the delicious quality. They also serve breakfast items all day. I had the salad with fresh ahi tuna which included so many other items making it not only full of color, but a great healthy mix of fruit and vegetables! Others ordered Mexican dishes. They have a variety of chicken and salmon dishes - oh too much positive to add, but suggest with all the rave reviews, to consider going yourselves and enjoy! Food was fresh and prepared perfectly. I had the Egg Sandwich, the wife had 2 Egg Breakfast and we shared an order of French Toast and it was some serious awesomeness!!!

The smoked salmon avocado toast was so good! It was full of flavor and the ingredients were definitely fresh!

First time trying this newly opened restaurant and we ordered French toast with fruit, classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes and sourdough toast, and an egg sandwich. It was all so yummy. We will definitely be back to try the burgers and shakes! I'm excited to have additional restaurant choices in our neighborhood!

We had lunch and it's taste great but messy with romaine wrap. It would be nice to make as salad for we don't want buns. We would like for them to make Corn beef and sauerkraut on top of iceberg lettuce, and dressings on the side. Sweet potatoes fries.

I really had high hopes for this little place, granted I have only tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich. First off I would like to say that the owner really seems like a nice guy and is trying to bring back some American classics to the menu, which is refreshing. The reason I am giving this "Fried Chicken Sandwich" 2 stars, is because I thought for $13.00 and some change, I would be getting a fried chicken thigh or breast cutlet that was breaded and crispy however, that was not the case! Their version of a fried chicken sandwich is a frozen, compressed "Chicken Nugget" type patty, that was dipped into a red/sweet sauce of some sort. The bun, lettuce and tomato were fine and the fries were seasoned good, but the patty and the sauce needed some help. The whole meal came to around $19.00 with a fountain drink. I would recommend they get rid of the red sweet sauce and going to a real cut of chicken......and just keep the sauces simple, like a chipotle mayo or garlic aioli or even straight mayo works!!!
