My fiance and I had a great experience here. The owner was on site and very personable. He and one other person smoke all the meat. The bar had a truly massive selection. The bartender was neat and well put together. She was also very attentive and courteous through our entire visit while keeping very busy. The food was delicious everything we tried would be worth getting again. The ribs (Are smoked!!! Not from the grill. They are NOT dry for what they are as found in other reviews here.) were awesome and the bartender's suggested sauces were great picks. The chicken thighs were juicy and flavorful. The brisket is top tier, absolutely delicious. Onion rings, cornbread, potato salad, and mac and cheese were all great choices, but it seems there wouldn't be bad ones. The other patrons at the bar were friendly and the music on the jukebox was great through the whole visit. I was in town for work and was about to go somewhere else due to the mixed reviews, but this was an experience where everything that could be expected was present and high quality: food, atmosphere, and customer service. Definitely worth a try, drinks are reasonably priced. If you're not drinking alcohol you can have a great, filling meal with a soft drink for under $20 per person easily.

What a GREAT find. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Everything we had was perfection. We were a party of 3, enjoyed 2 appetizers, wings and burnt ends were crisp and juicy, sauces were very good. Entrees were delicious, good choice of sides. Impressive bourbon options and good cocktails. Don't let the exterior fool you, it is very nice inside and staff is attentive. We will be back

THE GOOD - BAD - & UGLY. Read previous reviews and had a taste for BBQ! Ordered a half slab babyback, mac, greens, cole slaw (vinegar based), smoked turkey and burnt ends. The good: Mac and cheese and the greens. The bad: Their "Fixins" are $5 and are so small you'll feel swindled. The ugly: The smoked turkey is slightly overseasoned. Too salty but not unbearable. Just enough for a couple bites before you'll need water so not worth $12. However the service is very nice so maybe a bad cook on the wrong day. I'll try again and see. Hope this helps someone.

Well, I didn’t take a photo of the food before we ate it, so I apologize for the lack of food photos. It looked delicious so we ate it. We were right. It was delicious. We ordered the burnt ends appetizer, the pimento cheese dip, the wings and it was all good. We had the B2’s signature rub on the wings with sauce on the side. We tried a few sauces, my favorite was the South Carolina bbq, (I prefer the southern style with mustard). The server was friendly and attentive. The decor is modern rustic, perfect for the type of place it is. The location is probably what they could get to start up a new restaurant to open but it works. If they keep up the good work and are consistent with what we had today they could stay here and flourish or they could move to a new location and grow as well! (Just not too far please!) Either way, it works. The food was great. The service was good as well and my husband enjoyed the many choices of bourbons to choose from. Nice little spot, we will be back. I highly recommend the burnt ends! (Although next time I will ask for the sauce on the side - just my own preference) 😋

Delicious food! We order 1 meet platter. Meats are perfectly smoked and seasoned, nice fresh coleslaw, real cornbread. Great service!

Google
Good food and great service. We landed in Cleveland and headed to Niagara. Being from Texas, our expectations for BBQ are high. The server was very attentive. The food was good and the atmosphere was fun. The Brisket was surprisingly good, ribs were GREAT! Overall our party was happy with the experience. The only negative we had was that the smoked sausage was cold, which is understandable based on how late we were there. Definelty recommend the fries and mac'n cheese. Some of the best sides we've ever had.

Google
Just got takeout tonight and the brisket is very tough and difficult to enjoy. My boyfriend also ordered onion rings and received potato chips which was very disappointing. Mac and cheese was very good though

Google
Below average dive bar trying to be something it's not I guess if you like bourbon & over priced bbq it's ok. No signage, bad location (cops ready to pounce @ every turn) I'll just keep goin to smokin Joe's rock & roll garage bar..photos below

Yelp
I'd love to leave a More thorough review but after 15 minutes of sitting at the bar, staffed with two bartenders, and only one other customer at the bar, and neither bartender even acknowledging us, no chance. We waited over 15 minutes of watching other people walk up and get waited on, and we finally gave up, crazy! We've been wanting to go better for weeks now. What a disappointment.

Yelp
The service is abysmal. I've been sitting here for 20 minutes. No help. No one has even looked my way. Hey ownership. !!!! This is why you are losing your ass. Not a bartender to be found. Is it because I'm Caucasian. ? Can I type Caucasian!?

Yelp
Good drinks and friendly bartender! They were having bathroom issues when I was there.

Yelp
Ok, so i may be a little biased since i have worked with some of the people here in a past life...but...jesus, the mac and cheese was delicious...i got a bunch of to go food and i am actually mad I didn't get more than 1 side of the mac. The ribs were delicious, the chicken and brisket also fantastic...(and this is driving 40ish minutes home after another 40 minutes of chatting at the establishment with food in hand.... The fries were tasty even cold (my fault, not theirs...). But the kind of fries i wish had an aioli on the sode....overall...can't wait to go back and get more food...

Yelp
5 stars! Delicious food, great drinks, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere! This is my new favorite Bar-b-Que restaurant and bar, and I'll visit every time I'm in Cleveland.

Yelp
Sooo this was a first. After a long day of travel from MI, T and I walk in to grab a drink and a bite. Turns out there's a private party going on with no sign on the door to that effect. We were told we couldn't be served even if we sat at the bar. The irony of it all is that the event was for a segment of our society that has long fought for inclusion. B2 - next time, put a sign on the door and we won't be bothered to try to "crash" a private event and spend our money at your establishment. Not a good look.

Yelp
I've had Alabama, Georgia, Carolina, and Cleveland bbq but this one takes the smoker ! Beyond incredible Its the best kept secret in Northern Ohio. The ribs are spectacular, the brisket goes a step beyond that. Due in no small part to hard work from great people Eric and his Team have put themselves above the others.

Yelp
Just a lil hole in the wall with great food and drinks! I'm sure you will agree. Try it out if you like old-school establishments.

Yelp
So glad that we "discovered" B2's last year despite residing for decades with a few blocks of their front door. (The addition of the adjacent space and a few windows that help open it up was a good improvement). We met a number of great people on both the restaurant and bar side of the space and have returned with neighbors and friends who also made this part of their neighbor go-to spots. The smokehouse selections have not disappointed. Service can be VERY slow as many nights, the wait-person may very well also be the bar tender. Very nice always but stretched pretty thin. While there is a nice Bourbon selection and there are a few interesting cocktails on the menu, it is a "shot and beer bar "(this what I was told by the manager after trying to order two different menu cocktails only to be told they didn't have the ingredients because that's really not what they are about). I have never left this place without the chef yelling "Thanks and goodbye" from the open kitchen. Always a "feel good"'experience. One big ask of management....PLEASE put up a real sign on the building. The tarp sign that has been up for years is not doing you any favors. Wish the city would insist on higher standards for that building.

Ellen S.

Yelp
Excellent ribs, brisket, sides. Awesome selection of bourbons, service is top notch. Small hole in the wall place but clean and appealing.

Yelp
I wouldn't refer any friends or family to this eatery. The barbecue was dry and overcooked. The sides coleslaw and fried cabbage were horrible. A waste of money $25 big ones! Never again!

Yelp
Let me just say this up front - I love this place. Don't let the 3 stars fool you, this is a great little local bar, just make sure you know what you're getting into. Cash only - beers are only $2.50 each, jell-o shots are $1.00 or $1.25 (trust me, it's worth the extra $0.25 to upgrade to the "creamsickle" variety), and jukebox songs are 18 for $5. It's tiny - a row of barstools and a couple of never-used tall tables. It's never packed - this is a "local" bar, but the locals are friendly and will probably buy you a drink. No food - besides the bags of chips for sale behind the bar or whatever snacks one of the above-mentioned locals or bartenders has brought in to share. If you're hungry they'll help you order from the pizza place next door (it's just ok, but works in an emergency situation.) Did I mention the jukebox? I think the most recent song in it is from 1984, but there are some great classics available and it's a fitting soundtrack for the atmosphere there.

Yelp
Always looking for a good local food spot. Decided to check out Bourbon BBQ today. We arrived on a Saturday for a yearly dinner. No one was in the restaurant but don't let that fool you. It is located in a small shopping strip that doesn't look busy at all. We ordered the smoked drumsticks, fried green tomatoes and burnt ends for appetizers. The smoked drumsticks had a great smoked flavor and the meat fell off the bones. Fried green tomatoes were crispy and flavorful. Burnet ends were meaty and slightly crispy. For entrees we ordered brisket with fried cabbage, French fries and 1/2 slab with fries as a side. Brisket was tender and not dried out. Fried cabbage was good however I do enjoy a little bacon fried into my cabbage and a little more salt. Prices were amazing for the quality of the food. $55 for 3 apps and 2 entrees. I would definitely recommend trying it. Picture may not do it justice have to stop in.

Yelp
Bachelors II is the definition of hold in the wall. It's got everything or lack there of I guess. Let me explain. B2 is where I go when I want to hide, when I just want to get away, drink, listen to good music, and tell all my worldly problems to someone 2 sheets to the wind. For starters, this is a CASH ONLY establishment but if you get there early you can run to the liquor store or Speedway after hours for cash. They have no food besides nuts and chips, but you can bring in food, just be prepared to share. Terri, the sweet bartender, will order Vargo's pizza to share with her patrons so feel free to help yourself. As for entertainment they do have a wide range of music on the jukebox and one of the original bowling games, not with the ball, but with the puck shaped bowling device and the metal contacts for pins, but either way, its a lot of fun. I really like this place and you will too. Make sure to get a creamsicle jell-o shot when you are there. And once you get to know the bartender, she may even offer a special import from Pennsylvania. I am game WHENEVER someone wants to go to B2. So show up drunk, throw a few bucks in the juke, get a round of jello shots, and lets gitty-up!

Yelp
Omg this is the best place. The juke box and the drinks and the owners are the best. The place is clean and the bathrooms are amazing. The events they do are out of site. The clam bake was amazing. Eric and Guy are the best owners in the world. They have an ATM so u don't need to bring cash but it is cash and that's cool cause the place is inexpensive. Cheese night rules.
