Thanks to my friend’s good fortune and my own lucky timing, I finally got to dine at Baan Nual, a highly sought-after Thai restaurant on Fueang Nakhon Road that typically requires a very long time in advance.
This restaurant is incredibly exclusive, accepting only 3 tables per night for dinner, with just one seating per evening, making it a tough reservation to secure. The setup features an open kitchen with just one chef and one assistant. You have to pre-order your food before arriving since they prepare everything with precise portions. And let me tell you, every dish was absolutely delicious! My favorites were the crab rice, garlic prawns, and prawns with prawn fat. Even the simpler dishes like stir-fried cabbage with egg and the shallot omelet were incredible. I’m not exaggerating—they were all truly outstanding.
If you want to go, I suggest messaging the restaurant through their Instagram to inquire about a reservation.
