This restaurant has been open for over 35 years and has been incredibly featured in the Michelin Guide since 2017. Lek uncle, the talented chef, still personally supervises the cooking, maintaining a warm and attentive approach.
- The Fried Pork with Salted Fish and the Fried Pork are delicious. The dishes use simple, local ingredients, but the flavor is impressive.
-The Creamy Scrambled Egg with Crab is decent, and the price is not that expensive.
-The Tom Kha with Salid Fish is the first I've ever had that wasn't sweet—it was spicy in the throat and sour on the palate.
-The Mango Sticky Rice is very expensive, but every bite is perfectly balanced and delicious.
-The Banana in Coconut Milk (Kluay Buat Chee) is a simple local dessert, but the high-level of intention shines through; they use slightly firm bananas and it's truly very low in sugar.
-The restaurant has nice decor, emphasizing a classic style with many photos and collectibles.
Repeat for sure!
