Baan Somtum Sathorn

Busy restaurant with limited parking. The Isaan food was delicious and the service excellent. Plenty of seating and it was busy when I had a late lunch. Had three dishes and a beer - very filling. A bit on the pricey side but the food was authentic and really good so worth the higher prices. Highly recommended and I will be back.

Absolutely love this place — the food is heaven for us. We came here almost every other day while we were in Bangkok. Highly recommended, and our friends love it too. If you enjoy fresh, healthy Isaan Thai food, this place is definitely worth a try.

This is Lao-Issan foodie heaven for me, executed well, in a non-pretentious easy-going open-space setting. All of the wide-range of laarb, somtums (my fave being the Lao-style papaya ribbon strips with padek ປາ), nam tok น้ำตก selections with grilled pork/beef, desserts are on the menu. Yes, eating here, I can see why-how it consistently scoops its Michellin or Shell Shuan Shim (Thai-award) listing. I'm a fan.

On my way to have lunch but feed very full with street food outside as there are two school around. Many good option. I still sit in to try the salad and a new dishes. The flavor very delicates. Share some street food for my memory too.

Some of the most flavorful dishes I've had in thailand. Every bite is savory, flavorful and packed with a punch. Definitely worth a Michelin star. Prices are also affordable and service is excellent.

This Thai restaurant which is specialized for somtum, as the name suggest, has also a lot of other delicious Thai food in the menu. Some of the food can even be ordered as less or not spicy at all (my mother can't eat spicy at all) I would recommend to go there with a few friends, as then you have more option to taste different foods. The menu of items is huge.

Easy and chill restaurant, spacious area, clean and tidy. Good quality food, tasty. My favorite is the crab salad. Somtum with noodle could be bit more spicy would be better. A lots of menu here. All of them look very nice.

Delicious food and very prompt - very pleased with the service here and the good meal. We got everything less spicy since you can ask. The menu is ever beautiful and easy to understand what to order. You order by choosing the number on the menu to the list they give you. Makes it easier. The ambiance is kinda noisy and looks like family oriented. It’s not fancy place but it’s near 5 star sky rise hotels. I’m so full! I’d love to come back
