Delicious food and very prompt - very pleased with the service here and the good meal. We got everything less spicy since you can ask. The menu is ever beautiful and easy to understand what to order. You order by choosing the number on the menu to the list they give you. Makes it easier. The ambiance is kinda noisy and looks like family oriented. It’s not fancy place but it’s near 5 star sky rise hotels. I’m so full! I’d love to come back

Delicious, honest Thai food — packed with flavour and great value! We had a fantastic meal at Baan Somtum — the kind of place where every dish hits the spot and leaves you planning your next visit. The fried chicken with corn was crispy, juicy, and full of flavour — a perfect starter. The fried pork cutlets were tender with a satisfying crunch, and the papaya salad had the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy — super refreshing and addictive. The egg fried rice was simple but done right, and paired beautifully with the showstopper of the meal — the fried sea bass. Perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender inside, with a generous portion size too. This is the kind of no-fuss, full-flavour Thai food we love — hearty, affordable, and full of soul. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a casual, satisfying Thai meal that delivers on all fronts.

This is a cavernous Thai restaurant with a real Northern vibe and really very very good food! I was very pleasantly surprised. It's not at all expensive and I encourage you to order many different dishes. Everything we ordered was excellent and the shrimp salad was one of the best I've ever eaten. I Only disappointment was that they don't serve Leo, only Chang and Singha, but that's probably due to some deal with their distributor. Service was efficient but not terribly friendly. Highly recommended. I will definitely go back.

Worth the try if you are near the area & if there is no queue :) Chicken wing- well marinated and crispy Egg plant fish - too much bones for my liking. But the skin is crispy. Slightly salty. Fried rice - nicely fried with eggs fragrant Young coconut mango salad - refreshing Lemongrass drink - slightly sweet, light lemongrass taste

This Thai restaurant which is specialized for somtum, as the name suggest, has also a lot of other delicious Thai food in the menu. Some of the food can even be ordered as less or not spicy at all (my mother can't eat spicy at all) I would recommend to go there with a few friends, as then you have more option to taste different foods. The menu of items is huge.

Went on a weekday lunch. Restaurant was within walking distance from Holiday Inn Silom. The food was great! Fried chicken wings were crispy with the yummy chilli sauce. Seafood fried rice was good too. Tom yam gung soup was clear, and didn't look very spicy. But gosh! It was burning and shiok! The glass noodle with site fry pork was sour, and I liked it. The lemon grass drink was a little tasteless though. Chrysanthemum drink was good. We saw some ants crawling on the wall though. Not so ideal.

A solid spot for authentic Thai flavors in Sathorn. The highlight of the meal was the fried seabass—crispy, well-seasoned, and beautifully cooked. Alongside it, the crispy anchovies, chicken wings, and fried rice were all flavorful and satisfying. The variety of sauces elevated the meal, and the portions were generous for the price. That said, the service left much to be desired. There was a noticeable language barrier, and the staff offered very little in terms of hospitality or engagement. A warmer attitude would have made a big difference. The atmosphere was clean and simple, but not particularly inviting. Great for a no-frills, delicious Thai meal—but don’t expect much interaction or attentiveness. If they enhance their service experience, this place could easily become a 5-star favorite. #AshCertified ✅ = 4/5
