Baan Talay Koh Tao - Resort & Yoga

Great place to be at . The restaurant on the top of the hill was really good, with quality food and good choices even for vegetarians/vegans. The resort is very beautiful with amazing jungle gardens full of life. We had sauna and cold plunges and enjoyed yoga with an amazing view. We stayed in the tents lower down the hill with an excellent view, the ants and mosquitos were something to be aware of, but it was fine . We had a private bathroom and AC, so a very comfortable stay when referring to sleeping in a tent. Be aware that the steps are many and winding so take it easy, on the other hand I enjoyed every stroll as you get to see the nature and the animals there .

We loved this place from the first second on. As we arrived a little earlier, they allowed us to have breakfast. Also, the view from the balcony of our bungalow was stunning. We joined a vinyasa yoga class with a great teacher showing different adjustments depending on your level. The only thing that we have missed is a pool.

Great service amazing atmosphere. They have a very beautiful balcony with the view ! And food is delicious: clean and cozy rooms. Walk path from to to the sea. Amazing family running this place. Yoga retreat. Cold water bath sessions.

We have had an incredible stay here. The location is quiet and tucked away in your own paradise. There are butterflies everywhere and it feels like you’re in a sort of heaven! The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic at the restaurant. We will be coming back and next time it will be for a longer stay :)

The view is fantastic, and there are a lot of activities, such as yoga, ice baths, and art classes, available at reasonable prices. You can join even if you're not a hotel guest (though you'll have to pay a bit more than hotel guests). All the information and schedules are available on their Facebook page. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of busier areas and enjoy a serene, picturesque environment with plenty of activities to keep you entertained. The combination of breathtaking views, quality activities and classes, and exceptional snorkeling makes it a standout option on the island. Just be prepared for some stairs and a bit of extra effort to enjoy all it has to offer. There's also a hotel restaurant with good food, drinks, and homemade ice cream. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Stunning view of the bay with lots of native trees. We came here for dinner but would love to stay next time. Very cool concept with lots of activities. Dining was great with wonderful bakeries and homemade ice-cream. The owner is a very friendly long-term local and very much conservation-oriented. They also own New Heaven Dive Centre that offers a lot of conservation-related activities. Absolutely cool spot!

I would rate this place 6 stars if that was possible! It’s a magical place where you can find everything you need. The restaurant serves the best food you can find at the island. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are super clean, cozy and luxurious with a big flatscreen, a really good bed and the best ocean view with also a really comfy bed at the terrace. The ice bath experience was amazing and the yoga lessons are really good with the best view you can imagine. On top off all, if you walk down to the ocean you swim immediately at the reef where the whole ‘Finding Nemo’ cast is waiting for you! We recommended this to all our friends and we will definitely come back to this place! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

We stay here for almost 1 month and this is the forth time we‘ve been here. Everything is perfect. We stay in every type of room and every room have a gorgeous view. The food is really delicious and the staff is very nice. The activity here is interesting such as diving, yoga, painting and etc. There is the private access to the beach which the clear water and beautiful corals.
