Incredible service from the whole team. I had private authentic floor seating. A candle. And a server that brought me extra spicy sauce, dished my food on my plate, and even gave me a complimentary dessert. It was a bit pricey, but the service, quality of food, and ambience were worth it! Sabita and Tenzing were amazing!!

Good Thai foods in town. However you might not get authentic taste of Thai food here. Prices are a bit high comparing to the portion n quality you will get. Recommend for foreigners who never tried Thai food before.

We've had dinner on 9th November and it was out of this world. Tenzing took care of us. He suggested a lovely starter and we have had Yellow prawn curry as suggested by Aditya earlier on. The cocktail was fantastic and service was excellent. We went to Ban Thai for breakfast this morning as 363 was busy. We had a fabulous service, awesome food and brilliant ambience. We are happy and will visit again. Aditya and Tenzing are part of a great team. Even the Chef came to our table and his preparation was wonderful. All the young men and the lady were very polite, kind and thoroughly professional. We wish them all well in their future venture.

This place is a gem. A slightly overpriced place but the food is an absolute Thai experience. The starter on pork ,the Thai yellow curry and the desert with coconut milk makes you feel somewhere in Kraby itself. The service is also very good.

Very delicious thai food. The steamed fish in lime and ginger sauce was light and refreshing. The staff were the nicest - super attentive without being overwhelming. Made excellent recommendations based on my preference. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for an authentic thai place in Kolkata.

I loved the food here. The soup was light but flavourful. Kai Yang was really tasty. The green curry was watery and little intense in flavour for my taste. But overall I will give 4.6 stars. I will recommend this restaurent if you love Thai food. You will taste the authentic Thai flavours here.

The way from gate to Baan Thai in Grand will just mesmerize you and take you to the British-India era. A very special mention to their courteous staff members, they are absolutely humble and helpful- just like we expect in a classy,heritage place. In Baan Thai, they have several types of sitting arrangements including normal fine dine-in in chairs to traditional Thai sitting on floor with fixed cushions at the back for your comfort. Coming to food now,had tried- Mango Panna Cotta- Rs.550, Kai Krapaw- Rs.1375, Jasmine Rice, Lemon Ice Tea- Rs.410. Mango Panna Cotta is one of the best dessert I have in the city- a creamy, smooth dessert made with mango, cream and milk. Presentation was absolutely eye pleasing. Kai Krapaw is minced chicken stir fried with chilli and hot basil,so it's a bit spicy dish; perfect to go with simple aromatic Jasmine Rice. Overall, you cannot always compare everything with price- sometimes luxury, heritage and quality worth your hardworks- Baan Thai may not be your regular go-to-go place,but this definitely will be an ideal restaurant for your special days or that day in the year.
