I saw many good reviews of this restaurant, so I decided to try it myself. At first, the prices were high. However, after looking through the menu, I realized that the expensive items are mainly seafood dishes or large plates. Single-dish meals are actually quite affordable.
• Fried rice with preserved olives and minced pork: The fried rice is slightly crispy and fragrant with preserved olives. Very enjoyable to eat.
• Crispy pork basil rice: Excellent. The crispy pork is outstanding.
• Braised fish maw in red gravy: Better than expected. I didn’t think a restaurant like this would do this dish so well.
• Spicy stir-fried fish balls (ผัดฉ่าลูกชิ้นปลากราย): The portion is worth the price with generous amounts and very large fish balls. Loaded with herbs.
• Clear Tom Yum with sheathfish (Pla Kang): This one didn’t impress me as much. It was too sour, and the fish had a lot of bones.
⚠️ The chili here is extremely spicy though nicely aromatic.
Overall, the food is good but the prices are on the high side. I recommend ordering single-dish meals for each person and then adding a few shared dishes if needed.
