Wanted to try something new. Walked into a "local" bonding, hole-in-wall vibe restaurant. Had no idea what any of the items on menu were. Staff explained what dishes consisted of. Went with the KK with chicken. Was able to sit and pay later. They brought food to our table and gave complimentary cokes and waters for us. Staff said they wanted us to "have a good experience and come back". I absolutely loved the food and we cleaned the plate fast! Also, they did not force a tip after paying. Definitely go! And experience amazing hospitality and great food

The steak suqaar was amazing. The chicken KK was too bit bland and sweet for me. A half size plate is still really big and filling! They gave us bananas for free as an appetizer which was super nice! The staff was so nice and we got everything despite our language barrier. Would 1000% recommend for the suqaar!

Food is very delicious, (3-stars just for the chapati). Customer service is near non existent. Old guy just wants to chat with people, I think he comes here to socialize, not to work. I had to remind him many times that I was there for the food not to hang out. About 60% of customers order a to-go. Most of the customers here are most likely 2nd shift workers, because it gets busy around 10pm. If I didn't LOVE their chapati wrap or the chapati with beans and greens, I wouldn't have come back to this place. I eat here 2 or 3 times a week, so I know what I'm talking about. That being said, I will come back and I highly recommend this place. I really want to support the wonderful, cute little lady and her two equally wonderful daughters -- even though I don't think they need my support, the restaurant is doing well, but I hope they stay humble as prices are starting to go up. $13 is very expensive for just 1 chapati and a side order (not including their sweet & ginger tea). The chapati is so delicious, and so sweet and so good that I sometimes eat it by itself. Again if it wasn't for the chapati, I wouldn't come back. Also, they are open until like 1am which is a plus.

Yelp
Found this place through friend. It is the first time I have Somalian food.It is a small restaurant with an interesting entry door and interior. It has been around about a year and 3 months under this restaurant name. It serves Somalian dishes. It has fish, chicken, and goats with rice.it also has noodle dishea and wrap. The rice are basmati rice, and it is similar to biryani. The sambusa is similar to samosa, but this one with meat. We ordered goat meat with rice and tilapia with rice. They come with salad and banana. The food is ready quickly, and the dishes come with pretty big plates. Food is yummy, and the portion is generous. Pricewise looks like standard, and some are high. Overall, it was a good dinner.
