We were visiting the Lake District and really wanted to visit this cafe. We arrange our whole day around it as it closes at 3pm. It was well worth the decision. The quaint little cafe was lovely and the service was excellent. The food was so flavoursome, all vegan and simply wanting more. The cakes were delicious and coffees were just perfect! Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely visit again!

This place is SENSATIONAL. I had the roasted aubergine Buddha bowl special with gunpowder potatoes and some salads, and it was the most delicious thing I’ve eaten in ages. I’m in Kendal frequently for business and I’ll be coming here for lunch every time from now on! Amazing little place.

Staff were knowledgble of what was in their dishes and double checked the ingredients. Was very confident eating here and it was also delicious.

We came in here to get some takeaway lunch and drinks. The staff were incredibly friendly, there was a wide range of delicious options and it was very good value for money. The quality of the food was excellent.

Very busy but amazing food, expect to wait at least 15mins for take out to be ready and wear a coat as you are expected to wait outside during the wait. Counter service but you don't get your food as you order, it is put in a queue for when someone becomes free to start putting it on a plate.

We had lunch there and the food was delicious. Don't skip the bakery section though as the tarts, shortbread and stollen were even better. And you can get them for take away.

Anyone who thinks vegetarian food is bland or boring needs to eat here. What a fantastic array of options and flavours. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Keep up the great work!
