We've ordered them as take away and the food is excellent. They have the best home delivery chips. No idea how they do it but they arrive crispy. Not a single soggy one. And the spicy salt they use is incredible. The 1st time I ordered a double lamb burger and unfortunately even though it tasted very good it was very dry. 2nd time I ordered the pannier one and Oh my God!! Incredible burger. Could not recommend them more.

Went on a quiet rainy Sunday afternoon in November and they were one of the very few that were open. Staff were friendly and good was good. Had the double naga burger and masala fries. Burger was great. Fries were average.

The reason I’m giving this a 4 and not a 3 is because I might just not enjoy lamb as much as I thought I did. The lamb burger isn’t that bad. It’s fairly juicy and quite filling. However the spices on the burger I didn’t really enjoy. It doesn’t feel like you’re eating a burger, but rather something else entirely. The loaded fries were nice and crispy, chicken on top was kind of dry. Overall - it’s a nice little halal food shack in the middle of that Brixton pop up area. Would I go again? Not really.

It's small stall in Brixton Village area and they deliver! Used them for 2good2go service and was given great portion. I had Crazy Lamb burger and chips. Burger was juicy and fresh, never had lamb burger before, meat could have used a bit more spices but overall was very good, great sauce too. Chips were excellent, not soggy and all, all of them crunchy. Give them a try, they deserve it.

Great option in pop Brixton! I had the lamb burger which was great but the stand out was the nuggets chips and salad

Google
Nice food but small portions. £4 for these chips. The menu picture has them actually cooked (!) and in a much larger portion. False advertising. The chips were floppy - not hard to follow the recipe and cook them for the right amount of time. Disappointed

When east meets west you get this delightful treat you get this delightful treat. The paneer sag burger is my favourite vegetarian burger and is probably up there as one of my top ten burgers. Really good burger and the flavours were different levels. Same feelings about the Naga Delhi burger very good flavours are not over powering they’re all working together and if you have space highly recommend the poppadoms

Really good burger, something different, mixes of flavours in the lamb was great. Chips with tikka spice, very nice! Could be a bit more crispy and a bit more meat, but still great..

Yelp
We became interested in checking out Baba G's after we watched the Netflix show million pound menu! Finally got to try the lamb burger when we were visiting London. It was FABULOUS! Fresh, juicy, flavorful burger and the onion bhaji truly was the cherry on top. Fairly quick service and pleasant experience from the stall at Camden Market. Will definitely be trying more of Baba G's menu next time we're back in London!

Yelp
AH Baba G's, you are a street food dream. Indian-inspired food made into American-styled meals. They serve up burgers, sandwiches, fries, chicken nuggets and more but with Baba G's unique flare. Today I opted for the Tikka chicken nuggets (£5) and the Masala fries (£3). The food is made quickly and fried fresh in front of you. The chicken is rolled in a tangy tamarind and plum sauce, it is, in a word: delicious! They are large, tender pieces of meat, slightly crisp and full of moisture. Now to the fries, oh the fries! This has to be their signature dish. Again they are fried and mixed with spice. They are then topped with mint-cumin riatha and mango pulp. I am an absolute sucker for mango chutney and anything that goes with it so for me these fries were a dream - crispy, fresh indian infused goodness! I wouldn't recommend if looking for a healthy snack but if you're looking to indulge in something high fact and fully tasty this is your stop in Pop Brixton! The only reason I have docked them a star is due to the server. Sadly he was rather rude and grumpy - it costs nothing to serve with a smile and a bit of enthusiasm but I received nothing, not even with my Friday glee. A shame but the food is fantastic so food stars well deserved!

Yelp
For a little pop up trailer type thing in Pop Brixton they do a great job. For £7 I got the Brindhal Bhajee Naanwich and it was quite massive. It's an aubergine and chick pea patty with a curry sauce on a big fluffy naan bread. Really heavy, but different, veggie, and yummy!

Yelp
I was quite excited to try out Baba G's as I had missed out on trying their food at Shoreditch. We opted for their pachos- an indianised fusion version of nachos with popadoms and Indian sauces - raita, mango sauce and chilli pickle. Now in my head, these elements seemed a bit disparate, but they came together really well with a topping of chicken tikka. There were more items in the menu that I would have loved to try like the chicken tikka nuggest, but sadly they had already run out. I'd love to go back and try some more.

Yelp
Baba G's is something different. I know personally I have never had an Indian inspired burger and I must say it was pretty damn good. This place was recommended to me by another Yelper who was in London the week before me so I knew I had to try. This place is located in a smorgasbord type of area so you might miss it if you are trying to follow Google maps which brought us around the back into a parking lot. Now I must warn you, if you do not like spicy food you may not like Baba G's. I ordered the Crazy Lamb Jalfrezi Burger which was super delicious but super spicy. The lamb and the spices go great together. The fries had a mango sauce and yogurt sauce that was unmatched to any other fry sauce that I have tried. I respect the menu, I think it's a great idea to mix Indian cuisine with the best of American cuisine. If you are in the area or can get here which is easy via the train you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
I'm sure I visited Baba G's at Street Feast a while back and fell in love with the place. Anyone that knows me well enough knows that I'm a tad obsessed with Indian food especially when there's a twist to it. After visiting Pop Brixton on my first ever Yelp event during Secret Brixton I was excited to get back and show my partner around. He also loves Indian food especially the street food kind so after grabbing a pint at Brixton Brewery we headed straight to Baba G's as our first food stop to get something light ish before exploring the rest of the eateries. The guy behind the counter was talking to his mate when we arrived and he didn't look too happy that we were there interrupting his chat. I mean, how terrible of a paying customer to come up to buy food from him. We ordered the panchos - an indian take on nachos and also the masala fries. I was absolutely gutted/embarrassed when we got to our table and started eating. The food was 'made' in front of us so I could see that it was fresh, or so I thought.... The popadoms on the pachos were completely stale, we had a mouthful each and left the rest and it was a big portion as well! My partner is typically British and doesn't like to complain so he just put it in the bin, if it was up to me I definitely would have taken it back though...it was that bad! The 'masala fries' were like McDonald's fries with a squirt of suspect mango sauce on them and some yoghurt. I'm not sure what the masala part was supposed to be but they were definitely not spicy. They were incredibly greasy though, I feel sick now just thinking about what we had! From the other reviews and from my vague memory at Street Feast I really hope that we just had a one off bad experience but I can't say I would rush back to try it again to be honest.
