Service was excellent. Seated quickly and our server was great. Very friendly and was good about checking on us. Took some time for my eyes to adjust to the very dim lightening. We ordered their fried chicken (Very crispy and moist but the flavor was just “okay”. This was my son’s pick but he ate ours instead because he did not like it) catfish (Crispy with good seasoning) fried steak (Crispy, tender and flavorful. My husband and son’s favorite.). Their sides are just okay. Mash is bland, corn is good and the green beans has too much of a char taste for me.

Google
First let me apologize to the Manager and staff. While I wasn't rude or anything the experience was not what I expected or was used too. They don't have menus, the salad is a plate of lettuce, they don't allow dine-in customers to take home vegetable and/or drink left overs, and they bring your a bag to put your take home chicken in. I literally was turned off...primarily because all of what I named I didnt get are services I typically get everywhere else. However, the waitresses and Manager were very nice and accomodating to my NEWBY wth is this attitude... 😳. The lettuce, although missing other ingredients, was actually tasty with their dressing. The food serving sizes was enough for 2-4 people in my opinion. I felt like I paid for what I got...I had enough to eat by myself, then shared with my daugther and I still have for left. He chicken is really good and the veggies are too. The only thing I will say is the leftover bag for your chicken is still like wth too me...but, I ate it later in the day and it was still good. I guess a change in take bag will help with preception. Long-short, Im authenic in my reaction and review. While I opted not to stay today...after, reflection and enjoying my food while at home, I now understand that Babe's is a dine in place for two or more. And, it functions better for one person if it's curbside. You will have left overs....servings are plentiful and you will get full. Again, my apologies for my initial reaction. Thank you all for being open-minded and understanding. You guys made my choice to leave easier and uncombative because you laughed with me during my raw and authenic reaction to my first visit. I will be returning....to eat in and take out. THANK YOU!

Google
Great dinner at Babe’s! The fried chicken was wonderful-juicy, tender and crunchy. Good size and wonderful desserts. Our server, Brooke, was friendly and attentive. A nice experience. Loved the vintage neon sign!

Google
Food is excellent! The wait staff was very kind and attentive even for a LARGE group. The smoked chicken is AMAZING. I would eat the gravy off my shoe, it’s so good. Really cool looking place inside but my ONLY complaint is it’s dark inside. I wish it had better lighting. I would definitely go back though.

Google
Had a great dinner here last night. The food is great. I’m a vegetarian, so they offer half price on unlimited side dishes. The gravy mashed potatoes were really delicious. The rest of my family ate roasted chicken legs and fried chicken, they all raved about it. My kids are picky but they ate their chickens. The servers dance Hokey Pokey which was fun for the kids. Our waitress was very friendly, over all great service. So we will definitely come back.

Yelp
In the Dallas area for a high school graduation, saw Babe's Chicken Dinner House close to our Vrbo apartment and decided to try it... I'm so glad we did!! The place is amazing, food was delicious and our server Monica A. was absolutely the best!! She was so kind and patient with all the questions we asked. Would definitely recommend this place to others at any given time!! Thank you for the great food and great service!!

Yelp
I'm not a new customer to Babes. Just haven't been in several years since my wife isn't a fan of chicken off the bone. However, we had family in town and came here for an early dinner and knew they could accommodate a group with no problem. There's no reservations but the dining room is huge and easily handles big parties. Their service is five ! Every single person we had contact with was nice, friendly and provided excellent service. We had a combination of chicken tenders, fried chicken and one with a fish plate. However, those side dishes are just as good as the fried chicken. Everybody raved about the green beans, mashed potatoes and the corn. Then you have to mention the biscuits. Own if the best biscuits I can remember and even better if you drizzle honey on them. The fried chicken was even better than I remembered. Crispy and full of flavor! We won't wait that long to come back again. Great job Babes!!

Yelp
Our first time trying this place and we where shocked at all the food you get. Not to mention that it is all you can eat. The service was good but not the best. The ambiance was that old western saloon type of atmosphere. I ordered fried chicken and my wife ordered the fried fish. It comes with the sides of mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, gma's corn. Side salad and buttermilk biscuits served with syrup or honey. If you finish that, you can ask for more, no additional price. We had a second helping of all the sides because they bring you plenty of chicken and fish to start. The only thing i didnt like was that they warm up the dessert. Chocolate meringue pie and banana pudding is just good swrved warm. The servers will stop and dance from time to time based on the song that plays. Overall, we had a great experience.

Yelp
Food is amazing. Great price and yummy sides. Just make sure if you go with large party if you don't wanna share to have them so separate entrees vs family style. Service is okay maybe because we had a large Party server wasn't at her best. Service wss a bit slow luckily I have been in before and I explained the menu way better. We were ready to order by the time server came in. Ambiance always loud and lots of families everywhere

Yelp
I went for a kids birthday party. The waiters are very patient with big groups. They don't have any menus it's straight to the point chicken, tenders, chicken fried steak $18.. fish $19. Unlimited mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, & gravy included. They chicken was very seasoned!

Yelp
Came here for a work trip and it was the only good experience I had getting food. Doordash will screw you but Babe's Chicken Dinner House will not. Super friendly staff, cute environment, and food that impressed a country girl. Have to learn how to make the caramelized green beans now
google avatar

Yelp
The chicken was very good. Our service was better than good, but I would not say great. I think there are so many tables and the food is family style and the same types, so it just comes out and they are good. But, the food was really good. I was not expecting the song and dance part, but it was cute and I really enjoyed visiting. As we were visiting family, they felt it was a spot to take us to and they were right. It was a fun lunch and the food was very good.

Yelp
Greetings, fellow fried chicken enthusiasts! Today, I bring to you a review that deviates not one iota from my typical realm of culinary ventures, though prepare yourselves, for I have discovered a true gem that has surpassed even my own creation. Let us delve into the captivating world of Babe's Chicken Dinner House, where anything they fry manages to reach unparalleled heights. As the proud founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken (AKA, KFC), one might assume that my love for fried chicken knows no bounds. However, upon tasting the irresistible offerings at Babe's, I am compelled to reassess the very essence of finger-lickin' good! Ladies and gentlemen, I stand before you today to profess that Babe has achieved an unrivaled mastery over the art of frying. The golden-brown exterior, perfectly crisp and flaky, encases a succulent, juicy interior that bursts with flavor upon the first bite. Babe's chicken has a harmonious symphony of textures and tastes that dance upon the palate, leaving one longing for another blissful encounter. The chicken at Babe's possesses a remarkable ability to embody the essence of homemade goodness. The secret lies in their meticulous attention to detail, evident in every aspect of their cooking process. From the carefully selected poultry to the perfectly seasoned batter, each element works in harmony to create a symphony of taste that sings from the plate to the soul. The side dishes at Babe's are nothing short of extraordinary, either. The mashed potatoes, velvety and rich, provide the ideal canvas for their savory gravy. The creamed corn, a delightfully sweet revelation, complements the chicken impeccably. And let us not forget the buttery biscuits that practically melt in your mouth, leaving you yearning for just one more bite. Beyond the remarkable cuisine, the staff at Babe's embodies the true spirit of Southern hospitality. Warm smiles, attentive service, and a genuine passion for their craft ensure that your dining experience transcends mere sustenance. They make you feel like part of their extended family, adding an intangible touch that enhances the overall enjoyment. In conclusion, dear friends, it is with great pleasure and a hint of wistfulness that I proclaim the fried chicken at Babe's to be far superior to my own. Yes, you read that correctly. My beloved Kentucky Fried Chicken, though renowned and cherished, pales in comparison to the culinary triumphs showcased at this humble establishment. So, I implore you, fellow fried chicken enthusiasts, to embark on a pilgrimage to Babe's Chicken Dinner House and savor a masterpiece of flavor that will forever redefine your perception of all things fried. The legend of Colonel Sanders bows before Babe, the true maestro of fried chicken. Yours in admiration, Colonel Harland Sanders

Yelp
Sometimes you've got to have that awesome comfort food even if it isn't the best for you. My wife and I were craving fried chicken with all the fixing's and there was only one place to go that was close by, Babe's in Arlington. My wife and I love Babe's "double-dipped" fried chicken. The double-dipping creates that wonderful crust that Babe's is known for. It's that "crunch" you get when you bite into a piece of their chicken. We're seniors and always taken home at least half the chicken when the two of us dine there. Recently we learned a little trick that also saves a few bucks. We ordered one chicken dinner and then one vegetable plate. That works out perfectly since my wife loves white meat and I prefer dark meat. So on our order, for the one chicken dinner, we received a breast, drumstick, thigh and wing plus all the veggies and biscuits we wanted for the two of us. I know a lot of folks aren't impressed with Babe's plain lettuce salad, but I love it because of the sweet salad dressing. Since my wife doesn't like it too much, I get the "lion's share." The fried chicken during our recent visit was stellar, so crunchy, juicy and hot out of the fryer. And of course, the creamed corn, mashed potatoes and gravy plus the green beans were heavenly. The biscuits were light fluffy with either honey or sorghum to add the perfect decadence to them. Oh Babe's Chicken Dinner House, how we love you! As you can see from the photos, we were seated at the "table of honor" where Rick, Babe's perpetual guest sleeps a lot during his time at the restaurant. Rick is a pretty good table mate although very quiet most of the time. At least he doesn't bother anyone during their meal since he's normally napping. Without him know it, I was able to grab a selfie with him. That was a lot of fun!

Yelp
I can always count on coming Babes for a good outing with family. I'm sure I've written a few reviews about this place after coming here so many times. Lol I like the never ending sides and the tenders and smoked chicken options they have now. This definitely a place for comfort food!

Daniel S.

Yelp
If you have a taste for fried chicken - this is the place. Stop looking and get to Babe's asap! I was in Dallas for work and had a tasre for fried chicken before a Rangers game. I saw the reviews and pictures for Babe's and thought I would check it out.. wow, I was sure glad that I did. I was seated almost immediately, though the place was pretty full at 3:00 p.m. on a Sunday. I ordered fried chicken, which came with mashed potato, corn, salad, two biscuits and green beans - I also ordered a Coke. All that cost just $23.79 after tax! You might think, okay well it's cheap so that must mean the food is of low quality. Wrong. The food quality was excellent and reminded me of a home cooked meal - only better. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town and would also say that the service was fantastic as well. I never had to even think for a minute that I needed refill it just came. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Yes. Go here. Simple as that. Simple is the easiest word to describe this place. Five items on a menu, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, fried catfish and fried chicken tenders. Ah and for those trying to behave, smoked chicken. We had the fried chicken and two orders of fried catfish. Damn. It was fantastic. Did I say two orders of catfish? Yes. It is a winner. Biscuits and gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and cream of corn. Can make a simpler meal delicious. Love the location. Clean and very pleasant staff. I will say, each time we visit Texas, we head to Babes, no matter what.

Yelp
You can't go wrong with Babe's. You just can't. My only struggle is chicken (the OG) or catfish. Went with the chicken, of course, and enjoyed it with the family sides. Service here was friendly and attentive. This is a great location tucked into downtown Arlington and is very walkable from a number of downtown venues.

Yelp
We were invited here for lunch by our Aunt who lives im Texas. It is located in a semi-residential area in a one story building but they do have several locations throughout Texas. When you walk in, they have a cute little courtyard with seats, benches, and stand up warmers. When we entered the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a very kind employee who then sat us at our table. The inside was a little dark but good enough for eating. We had a larger party of 10 and we were seated at a round table against the wall to the side of the restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is situated like the inside of a little town with a train running at the top with windows and doors looking out. There is a water tank near the entrance as well and sign decor in the town. The restrooms have barns style doors which match the restaurant style. The employees were on point and were so very friendly and welcoming. Our server gave many suggestions and also explained how we should order based on our group size. That was super helpful. The food came out family style and was way more than enough. We were able to try everything which was great. We ordered chicken tenders, fried chicken consisting on 3 pieces (thigh, breast, wing), and fried catfish. All main dishes were great and not too breaded which was good. The chicken was tender on thr inside, crunchy on the outside, and tasty. The fried catfish was my favorite. It was fried well and crispy on the outside, very delish. If you love catfish, you will love this! While we waited for our meals, our server brought out some salad which consisted of just lettuce which was already tossed in some kind of dressing and was a bit soggy. This was okay for me but not to my liking as I do not like soggy vegetables. Our server also brought out biscuits which was good. When out meals came out, it came with several side dishes: (corn, mashed potatoes, & green beans) All were pretty good and matched well with the chicken and catfish. I would definitely return as the food and service was good!

Yelp
Babes is a nice place that I'd consider eating at again if I were in the area and wanting fried chicken. We ate here one evening because we were at an event nearby. The decor inside was so nice and cozy! Our waitress was really sweet and friendly. I took a star away because we were 50/50 on the food. The fried chicken was PERFECT! Crispy and juicy! I also thought the biscuits were really great! The chicken fried steak was not good. My kids had one each and we tried theirs...ended up sharing our chicken with them because they were not fans. It was grisly and unfortunately my kids thought it tasted like "soap". My kids are NOT picky eaters and they love trying new foods and restaurants. They did like the chicken tenders a lot. Not sure what happened there with the chicken fried steak but if you want fried chicken, I would recommend to try theirs.
google avatar

Tyler M.

Yelp
Another great Texas meal! Walking In you feel like you're in the old west and I like the limited menu. Only 5 entree choices and the table gets sides of mashed potatoes, salad, biscuits, corn, and green beans. We got the fried catfish and chicken tenders. The catfish was our favorite. Salad A+ (the dressing was so good) Catfish A+ Chicken tenders A Mashed potatoes A Biscuits B Creamed Corn B Green Beans C+

Yelp
Holy moly was the food good! All you can eat sides paired with delicious, fresh chicken! Stunning service! It is a bit dark in the restaurant, but worth that delicious food! So so so sooooo good!
google avatar

Zayden G.

Yelp
The food was amazing, And the service was polite and patient. The ambiance was very fitting for the vibe of being served a country made meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Meals are enough for two unless your me. Just get it and don't forget the honey hunny
google avatar

Maggie M.

Yelp
The food is comfort fried chicken, country fried chicken and fried catfish with southern side dishes. The mashed potatoes were starchy, the corn seemed creamy, and the green beans were not good. They had molasses on them and they were burnt. I wouldn't feed them to my dogs much less my family. The ambiance was more so romantic rather than family setting. It was weird. I would prefer more light when dining with my family. I would also like to see what is being served. The service was wonderful Ella was very nice and very friendly with the grandchildren and even did a magic trick with a coloring book. This one cute. I would probably never go back as the food was not very good. It was blah! Nothing to rave about or to go out of your way.
google avatar

Carol K.

Yelp
It was ok. The fried chicken was too salty. The smoky chicken was kind of rubbery and spicy. The sides were good. The service was slow. I wouldn't go out of my way to go again.
google avatar

Yelp
come hungry! Great for groups! I always have a great time at Babes. It is fun to bring a bigger group of people here because everything is served family style. You order your drink and you order your type of protein. The choices are, chicken strips, bone in fried chicken or chicken fried steak- I believe. 1st is drinks & buttermilk biscuits and a lettuce salad. Shortly after that you are served family style creamed corn, delicious green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, and all your chicken. Come hungry and leave with extra chicken. You can always order more sides and biscuits. Parking is in the back at this location or across the way. Tip: focus on eating your sides because you can't take those home.

Felix H.

Yelp
If you are really, really hungry, and love Great fried chicken , and have endless sides, exceptional service, and clean from top to bottom...look no further, Babes is your destination! I have never been disappointed, and, they have the best home made biscuits ever (topped with cream gravy or my choice, butter and honey). It took me a long time to even want to try the chicken fried steak and fried catfish, and they are great too! PS, I have always been too far ll to try the deserts.

Larry L.

Yelp
Well, not all impressed, unfortunately. The chicken was small in stature and we didn't particularly care for being limited in what we received in vegetables. The fact we couldn't take our non eaten vegetables home with us is not acceptable. We paid for them we should be able to take them home. Needless to say, a return trip is not in the works
google avatar

Yelp
It doesn't matter which Babe's we go to in the DFW area, they are all fantastic. I maintain that Babe's has the best fried chicken I've had and their sides aren't anything to discredit either. I could probably live off of their mashed potatoes and gravy all day, every day and live a happy life. We love dropping into Babe's as a special treat when we can. Looking forward to the next one!
google avatar

Jayson W.

Yelp
The ABSOLUTE BEST fried chicken I've ever had! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the DFW area. Simply amazing.

Yelp
Best wait staff! Always checked on me if I needed drink refills or veggies! I love when they do the hockey pockie song for the kids it brings smiles to peoples faces ! I had the chicken fried steak ! Their veggies are really yummy!

Yelp
Babe's was an amazing experience for me -- my coworkers continuously told me about Babe's, which got me very excited and I have a love for fried chicken, coming from the South. We were finally able to go as a team lunch today and I was absolutely blown away with the entire experience. I will say -- the experience begins by walking in. You walk into this homey atmosphere, with the decorations feeling like an old grandma's home. The decorations are really neat to look at and it was great. Our server brought out our biscuits and salads and explained the entire process for us. Everything is family style and all we need to choose are our meats. Our party ordered fried chicken and chicken tenders, and we also brought some canned beer as they have a great BYOB policy. The biscuits and salad was amazing. The biscuits are warm and soft, and they serve it with butter and they also have honey and cane syrup you can use your biscuits with. I loved the dressing for the salad -- it was sweet and tart, just like how I like it. We got our food and everything was great. You get AYCE green beans, mashed potatoes & gravy and corn. All the sides were magnificent, and shortly our chicken came out. It all comes out in family style, but I believe each order is 4 pieces of chicken and 7 pieces of tenders. The portions were plentiful to say the least. We dug in and the chicken was so hot and juicy, and it had the perfect amount of seasoning! Just like a Southern Fried Chicken, it tasted great! We also asked for some Tabasco and that junk was absolutely CASH! It was honestly such great chicken. Our server made sure we were taken care of asking if we need anything else! She even asked us if we wanted some extra biscuits to-go, which was absolutely so generous! My order of chicken was only $17.99, which was more than reasonable. I loved that on the receipt -- it said they never auto-charge gratuity, something hard to find these days. Babe's was a great experience and one thing for sure is -- I will be back.

Yelp
I always love coming here! The food is great and service is too! The environment is always nice, just overall a great family oriented restaurant.
google avatar

Cheryl C.

Yelp
Overall the food was tasty. I ordered catfish, which was really good. Everyone else had fried chicken and said they enjoyed. The only negative was the green beans that were soaked in grease. I couldn't eat it. Service was fabulous as well.

Alondra M.

Yelp
I love good fried chicken and this review does not go against the food. Rather to the girl who was smacking her gum working at the register on 3/17/24 around 7:42PM not only she does not have customer service but no manners. Not once greeted us asked us how our service was nor "have a good night". I wanted a bottle of honey and I grabbed it from the counter shelf and when I approached the register I swapped them out and it handed it to her. She was quick to the one I gave her put it back where it was and grabbed one from the shelf. Without letting me know why she did that and again did not ACKNOWLEDGE ME. Your employees represent you and unfortunately this rude individual failed you.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
Kinda disappointed with Babes Chicken. The chicken was just ok. The lack of sauces to dip its just wrong. The sides were just ok as well. Ordered the pineapple upside down cake. That was definitely old. Overall experience was a let down.
google avatar

Ralf R.

Yelp
Everytime I bring my outa town friends they love this place. I've tried everything on the menu and it's all fantastic. The only dish I wasn't really impressed with was the chicken fried steak was kinda mehhh. But everything else great which you would think they would get right but nope Went this past week August 3 2022 and ordered the fried chicken dang it was so juicy and crispy. Hadn't had fried chicken in over 6months and this hit the spot with all the family style sides and warm biscuits. I will continue to come back in the future staff is always nice and prompt when bring food
google avatar

Monique H.

Yelp
It's a restaurant you never knew you needed in your life. Chicken almost any way you like it, perfectly cooked. The sides are green beans, corn, and mashed potatoes. Plus, scratch biscuits and the best gravy. Oh and they do give you a green salad with a vinegarette to start, just to keep things on the healthier side. ;) One plate of chicken can feed 3 people easy. They will bring you more vegetable sides if you want more (just not unlimited chicken). Service was good and efficient. The decor is cute and a throwback to an old west vibe. I'm glad we got there before the mid-day church crowd started piling in. Seating is plentiful but they are busy and you may have a little wait. They have curbside service too. I can't wait to go back when I'm in town again. And note to self, save room for dessert next time.

Yelp
We ate at this place on the recommendation of the stadium usher at the Texas Rangers game. He told us that they serve great chicken and all you can eat sides, so this was right up our alley. Well, he was correct. The chicken was some of the best any of us have ever tried. The sides were all great (we especially liked the corn, green beans, biscuits, and salad), but what keeps this from a five star rating is the gravy. All three of us agreed that it was too thin and lacked the taste we expected from a home-style white gravy. With that being said, this is a place that is very much worth the visit. We had great service. Be aware that they do not serve alcohol.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere, service is always great, good value, great food!! Highly recommend visiting!

Yelp
Nothing bad to say we got in quickly the fried fish was amazing chicken fried steak was great the only thing negative was the green beans but they were still good!

Yelp
Best chicken ever! Keep up the good work Babe's. I've been coming to Babe's for 30+ years. Been to the Burleson, Granbury, and Hurst location and they all take care of their business. My favorite is the Burleson one.
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant. I love the food and the way it it served to the table and they keep it coming. I love the light salad. I love the biscuits, butter, honey, and sorghum. The ambience however is what makes the real difference in the dining experience for me. I am speaking primarily about the ambience at the Arlington location but the others I have been too are very well done as well.

Dennis M.

Yelp
Comfort food at its best. Chicken or catfish is the go-to, with family-style vegetables and salads that keep on coming on. I would just survive on the bread alone! Very enjoyable ambience.

David M.

Yelp
Great service food and atmosphere! We will definitely be visiting this location again the next time we're in town!

Yolanda T.

Yelp
We went here for a friend's birthday. The food was very good. The customer service was outstanding. The server that we had was very personable & offered great choices of food for us. I would go back more often if it was closer. Hopefully, we will get to go back again very soon to suppose this business. The space is kind of small. They had additional seating outside. I can't seem to find the pictures that I took of the delicious food we ordered.

Shonda R.

Yelp
Chicken chicken a few sides a dark restaurant it's okay if you like to share food on a round dark room tavern style table n dinner it's very loud not my thing but it stays packed

Yelp
I have probably reviewed this place before. I have eaten here or at least 5 of their locations over the last 10+ years. I will tell you there really isn't a better place to come for home cook'n. You pick the entrée and all of the sides comes with. The absolute best of each of the chicken options. There are no bad choices. Hickory Smoked Chicken is seriously amazing, The Chicken Fried Steak excellent, The fried Chicken is what your grandma used to cook. Catfish is hard to beat. And the simple but super good chicken strips make most places look like fast food. All of the sides are really good and I can't get enough mashed potatoes & gravy. I mean milk gravy is what that is all about and they do a great job! excellent biscuits and not joking excellent food. It is a treat for me when I visit Texas and it will be for you, unless you are on a diet then don't go, or maybe just enjoy their simple but amazing lettuce and sweet vinaigrette salad.

Yelp
Went last week over rated and over priced and poor quality. I just don't get it at all.

Yelp
I'm literally obsessed with Babe's! They have the best fried chicken, green beans, white gravy, and mashed potatoes I've ever eaten! It's also a fabulous place to bring a group of people you know you want to pay for since the price is set! You can calculate the total before you even go! Can't recommend this place enough!!

Yelp
Walking in the best part about this place with the smell. No greeting no hello welcome no nothing. It was just myself and I was put on a waiting list. The gentleman told me that it would be 25 to 30 minutes. The restaurant wasn't very crowded but I also know that the Covid thing out people actually kind of scared. So I way to my 25 to 30 minutes cause I really enjoyed the aroma of the smoked cooked going on. My name is called I was walk to the seat by again very unfriendly seem to be unhappy to be working there greeter. He didn't even walk to the table all the way he just walked part of the way and pointed out the table. He didn't tell me who the waiter was he didn't say anything of that nature is it guy even enjoy having a job. He's not very good at it. After about five minutes Damon came over and took my order kind of explain what was going on the menu so you get a menu they don't have a menu they have smoked chicken fried chicken chicken tenders I'm catfish or something else I forget yeah see that's the problem is I don't even remember. Because it wasn't that rememberable. I ordered the sweet tea and water. Damon explain the menu to me and took my order. In the meantime I was brought out one biscuit and a salad it contains just lettuce and some type of sweet dressing. This is the weirdest salad I've ever had. Only the ladder? And a biscuit was barely warm at that. There was a cold sick about her to put on the basket. While drinking my sweet tea here comes my order. Four smoked chicken leg some very bland tasting mashed potatoes and gravy and a bowl of corn and a bowl of green beans. I finish up the meal because it was late and I was hungry. Hope I don't get a stomachache later. So I decided please please please please I'm gonna give it one more shot to make this place an OK spot do you have dessert? The waiter ran down the dessert menu some meringue pie some banana putting and oh yeah cherry cobbler oh boy do I love cherry cobbler. So I figured there was a chance to bring it all back in at least give it a four-star. I'll come to the cherry cobbler with a side of what he says is whip cream not too sure about that. The juice in the Cherry cobbler was very runny. And I guess you could say the best part about the cherry cobbler was at least it was the hottest thing of the meal. Well I guess they're stuck at three and I really think I've been very kind. The service didn't pop the food didn't pop but the decorations inside does establishment were very cute you kind of felt like you were on either a movie said or may be right in the middle of an old town the Babe used to live in. Well I definitely won't be referring friends to the spot. And I won't be back for two reasons number one they don't have it where I live in California but also it just wasn't what I was hoping it would be. Yummy.

Yelp
This is going to be a hot take, but I really think Babe's is just ok. The chicken is good but the sides are always lackluster. Servers are generally nice and attentive even though they were understaffed when we went.
