Babette Cafe

While we were waiting for the other half of our group to do some things we stopped in to have a cafe and a treat. We were able to be seated and our server was very attentive. Our order was taken and we were served promptly. The espresso and lattes were very nice and the pastries were very good as well. Overall we had a nice experience and would stop in again.

Visited Babette Café today and really enjoyed their coffee. Smooth, flavourful, and served perfectly. Cute spot with a nice vibe—definitely worth a visit.

When you pay over $50 for a breakfast (Avo Bruschetta $26 + $10 for 2 eggs+ $7 coffee + 15% weekend surcharge...) you expect a better service and food. The toast was unbeatable and ao hard, we said to change it, after 5 minutes they brought us an steak knife! Eventually we got another toast which wasn't 10 days old, but overall not a good experience at all!

Worst service in the cbd!! We sat to have a coffee and deserts and waited 20min just to be asked what we would like to order even though we asked free stuff multiple times to serve our table. The lady who decided that preparing napkins was more of a priority even though we asked for her to serve us then came around and served us 5 minutes later. The cinamon scroll was not fresh and stale, the portugese tart was not fresh and soggy and the the pistachio rasberry delice was a nice treat but again was not fresh. The only thing that was good were the coffees but nothing more special than the next coffee shop. Overall the experience was over priced for having stale deserts and the worst service. Don't waste your time here, there are dozens of coffee/desert shops near by who actually prioritise service and serve fresh deserts for the price you pay. I barely write reviews but i was compelled to do so in this case after such a bad experience.

Those is a cute little cafe on the ground floor of the beautiful QVB. My family and I decided to have a Sunday breakfast here. We ordered bacon and egg rolls, almond croissant, a cappuccino and hot chocolate. The rolls were fresh and delicious. The croissant was tasty and flaky on the outside. The drinks were better than expected. The coffee was among the better ones I have tasted. The only thing I wish is a longer breakfast menu! Available options are limited.

They make and serve the best coffee in Sydney for sure! Nice seating area and usually packed. The team are hospitable and attentive too.

Decent and tasty pastries, nice coffee. Sourdough & Spread comes with as many spreads as you’d like (except avocado costs $5). Pricing is a little high - but it is in QVB so that’s expected. Service is very impersonal. We didn’t have to wait long to get seated. This is an ok choice for breakfast or tea in the area.

Great tasting meal and good coffee. Once you get used to eating in the middle of the QVB the atmosphere is quite good. Had the crab spaghetti and the croque monsieur which were both delicious. The highlight was definitely the croque monsieur which was delicious and had a generous amount of ham. Coffee was good but pricey. Given that it was sit down service in the city the price is similar to nearby places.
