These Restaurant and Bars Are Now Closed in the San Francisco Bay Area | Eater SF

"A popular neighborhood cafe is leaving BAMPFA and snagging the keys to Lanesplitter’s longtime location, signaling a move rather than a permanent closure." - Becky Duffett

While we were waiting for the other half of our group to do some things we stopped in to have a cafe and a treat. We were able to be seated and our server was very attentive. Our order was taken and we were served promptly. The espresso and lattes were very nice and the pastries were very good as well. Overall we had a nice experience and would stop in again.

Visited Babette Café today and really enjoyed their coffee. Smooth, flavourful, and served perfectly. Cute spot with a nice vibe—definitely worth a visit.

Crab Benedict didnt taste as good as it looked. Latte was great and good amount of seating selection. Recommended

They make and serve the best coffee in Sydney for sure! Nice seating area and usually packed. The team are hospitable and attentive too.

Decent and tasty pastries, nice coffee. Sourdough & Spread comes with as many spreads as you’d like (except avocado costs $5). Pricing is a little high - but it is in QVB so that’s expected. Service is very impersonal. We didn’t have to wait long to get seated. This is an ok choice for breakfast or tea in the area.

Ordered less sweet hot chocolate but turned out disappointed as the less sweet meant less chocolate. While the cookies - dark chocolate w pistachio was okay; big size and Its texture was good but too sweet and it wasn’t dark chocolate to me. Anyway staff were friendly!

The staff are really nice and the food is amazing. We ordered a tarragon cream mushroom toast. Delicious.

Those is a cute little cafe on the ground floor of the beautiful QVB. My family and I decided to have a Sunday breakfast here. We ordered bacon and egg rolls, almond croissant, a cappuccino and hot chocolate. The rolls were fresh and delicious. The croissant was tasty and flaky on the outside. The drinks were better than expected. The coffee was among the better ones I have tasted. The only thing I wish is a longer breakfast menu! Available options are limited.
