We lived in Barcelona for 2 years many years ago and it’s always good to be back and try new restos. This was recommended to me by a girlfriend and it was one of the better tapas restaurants I’ve been to.
Firstly this spot knows how to service. Entire staff are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. They provide genuine service and check in with us to make sure everything is good. Really, their attentiveness deserves some applaud.
Secondly, food was superb. We probably would recommend 8/9 dishes we ordered. The beef tartare, codfish, mushrooms, pork taco, and scallops were all fantastic. Not a single dish we didn’t like. There’s a twist on the classic dishes and it all uniquely stands out.
Thirdly, cocktails were very good and refreshing. All in all this was a seamless dining experience for us and the setting is gorgeous and intimate. The owner named/dedicated the resto to his grandma and there is a photo of them on top of the bar. I found it has depth while also elegant and refined. Suitable for dates, groups, celebrations.
10/10 must visit in Barcelona
