It's a solid chicken sandwich. Pictured is the Taiwanese fried chicken. The only thing is that the sauce ran off the sandwich and pooled in the box and some parts didnt have the sauce on it. Value is a little on the lighter end. For a close to 10 dollar chicken sandwich for a quick eat, it does leave you wanting more, perhaps a small side to complement the sandwich.

Baby Buns is amazing. Everything stood out from the amazing menu to the amazing food to show for it and the great customer service that has been provided each and every time I stop by. I ate at baby buns a few times and each and every time the experience was amazing. Today the chef added Hosin fried shrimp as a special and I can honestly say I enjoyed it all the way down to the last bite. Keep up the good work.

The food tastes good and the service lady was very nice. If you're looking to spend 18 dollars for two 2" sliders and a serving of cheese fries this is the place for you. Perfect for spending two meals worth or money on half a meal. ( I ordered the classic burger which is two sliders and a cheese fries. I wanted the Chefs mastery addition 5$ but it was out. The cheese fries side had more food than the MINI sliders and cost 2$ less) after eating I've decided it's not worth a second try.

I had the classic burgers and a chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious! I forgot to right my review and I happened to see Sylva Senat on Food Network and remembered to come on here and rave about the food. The burgers tasted very flame broiled. They were cooked perfectly and the buns were really good (which is always important to me). The chicken ones were just as good, juicy and perfectly cooked. It was my favorite of the places I tried in Bourse. Can't wait to go back.

Google
The impossible burger was very good. The price for two incredibly small burgers was way too high at $16. My issue was the size of the burgers for the $. Other places have a more satisfying impossible burger for a similar price.

Google
Enjoyed the tastiest Impossible burger I've ever tasted. Had it with the Truffle fries, which were also fantabulous. It's a must dine. Will be coming back.

I couldn't find them. This place is not in the Bourse food court. Please update your address and your out of service phone number.

Yelp
I first encountered Baby Buns at the Block party to celebrate Old City Eats. I had one of the most delicious sandwiches I'd ever tasted, with the bun engraved with a "B" on it. I was looking forward to visiting their location in the Bourse. It took me a couple of months, but I finally made it to the Bourse and eagerly ordered the classic burger with truffle fries from Baby Buns. The burger is 2 small sliders, which doesn't seem quite worth the price, but I wouldn't mind as long as the sliders tasted good. They did not. They were awful. Thin and overcooked to the point of tastelessness. And no engraved "B" on the bun this time. Since I know what they are capable of based on my previous experience, I wondered if this was just an aberration. As if they were reading my mind, a group of Asian tourists who also ordered sliders decided to sit at my table. One of them took one bite ad then took the burger out of the bun and started speaking Chinese as she tore it apart. I could see it was as overcooked as mine and even tough I couldn't understand what she was saying, she clearly wasn't happy and didn't eat it. The kids didn't care and ate it with no problem. At least the truffle fries were done right, so I had something tasty to eat. I had high expectations and left disappointed. There is really no excuse for serving burgers that overcooked.

Yelp
I visited baby buns during the first week of it being opened, so I'm hoping by now it has gotten over the new business hump. I can honestly say this was one of the grossest, most disappointing lunches I've ever had. I got their I believe pork buns, but since I'm gluten free in a lettuce wrap. It was all a complete mess (see picture), the meat was mostly all inedible fat, the flavor was super bland. I also ordered their fries that were supposed to be Parmesan or truffle or something, they were plain frozen then fried fries with specks here and there of some sort of flavor on them. My fiancé got their beef sliders which I think were okay-definitely not good by any means. The amount of food you get is small for the price and the worst part of everything it took at least a HALF HOUR to get our food, and they seemed to be the least busy vendor there! Like I said, I hope they've fixed things but I get shivers when I think about how bad this experience was.

Yelp
We ordered directly from Baby Buns today and had steaming hot fresh food in 30 minutes. We got the burger and the jerk chicken jawns, a summer special. 4 bao buns on the chicken was unbelievably filling. The chicken was perfectly cooked and moist and I love the spice mixed with the mayo. The buns were fresh and perfect. It is the closest bao bun I've eaten to the ones at Jose Graces' long closed 8th and walnut restaurant and I dream of those buns. The fries were thicker than shoe string and salted and crispy. The burger was charbroiled and it was so nice to have that taste. Can't waste to go back.

Yelp
Recently placed a large order here for our work lunch and had a FANTASTIC experience. From the kind staff to the delicious food, I cannot compliment this place enough. We had the Taiwanese fried chicken sandwich and impossible burgers (vegan options available as well!) delivered to us all individually wrapped without a hitch. Everyone at work was raving about the sandwiches, and they were definitely large enough to satisfy any appetite! I was very impressed by how juicy and crispy the chicken was, even with a larger order and through transport. I will definitely come back to try more of their food and support this wonderful local business.

Yelp
The burger sliders were very good! It came with an interesting touch to it, a vile? of aoli? Inserted into the burger. Whatever it was, it was good lol.

Yelp
I first tried their Taiwanese chicken slider/bun at the Yelp Event at the Bourse and immediately loved it. I came two days later by myself for a late lunch and fell IN love with it. I wanted to opt for something different, but I just HAD to get another taste of that chicken. I ordered two sets of the chicken buns for me and my BF (you get 2 small sliders per order and I think it's enough for one person) and a side of garlic (or truffle?) parmesan fries and it came to $24, so kind of pricy, but WELL worth it. First of all, I had it piping hot at the Yelp Event and then the second time got it to go and didn't consume it until a half hour later and BOTH times it was fantastic at both temperatures. The fries were also DOPE (and I'm usually not big on those types of fries). The sandwich is sweet, salty, crunchy, delectable chicken with a beautiful aioli and housemade pickle on a wonderful buttery bun. When I stopped in the second time, the staff was SO friendly. I sat at the bar for a bit and they offered me some wine and a sampling of their really great slow-cooked pulled pork simmering in juices. I was mad I didn't try the steak sliders, but I'll 100% be back here soon!

Yelp
My boyfriend was drawn in to BABY BUNS, and was intrigued the PORK JAWNS. With a name like that, they have to live up to the hype to represent our city! First off, they took a bit too long to make. At a food hall like Bourse, I'd like to get my food quickly, and then have a seat, and there was a bit too much waiting IMO. The wait wouldn't have been so bad if the buns blew me away, but they simply didn't. They were underseasoned and underwhelming. The pork was topped with slaw and chipotle mayo, but it didn't do much for me at all. I'd be interested to try their other buns to see if they're any different, but I wouldn't order the pork jawns again.

Yelp
Sampled the Taiwanese fried chicken thighs: sweet chili sauce, House pickles, chipotle mayo, brioche- AMAZING FLAVORS!!! The venue is decorated so cute too!

Jay D.

Yelp
The chef/owner is a SUPER nice guy. I just will never spend $16 + tax and tip again on two itty bitty veggie burgers. Yes, they are the hyped up Impossible Burger but come on. How is the fancy truffle burger with Kobe beef at $12 less expensive? Poor guy must be paying retail prices for those impossible burgers.

Shawn R.

Yelp
Disappointed, we finally stopped in at the Bourse when this place was open and made the mistake of trying it out. Terrible and expensive, chicken sliders were served raw and beef sliders were severely overcooked. Buns were mediocre and cold. Churros tasted like they had been sitting out for days. Service was slow. Avoid at all costs. Attempted to reach out before writing this review but never received a response.

Jeff H.

Yelp
Good news: they actually have the impossible burger. Bad news: for $16 I expect something reasonably filling. It was two super small mini burgers. This is ridiculous. This is way too expensive for this little food. If you are hungry, do not go here.

Joe S.

Yelp
Wow wow wow, I must say for such a tiny spot this place really packed a punch. I shared with a few people the classic which was a grilled kobe burger that just brought me back to having burgers as a kid. Also tried this glazed chicken sandwich which was the bomb. I tried many places at the Bourse and this spot was easily my favorite.

Rena H.

Yelp
I had the Taiwanese fried chicken sliders and was surprised by how filling and packed with flavor they were. The chicken itself was a little on the dry side, but the chipotle mayo and Thai sauce made up for it. The staff was so kind and talked to us while we waited, and even suggested other restaurants to try in The Bourse. I love seeing small businesses supporting each other, and will definitely try other menu items here in the future.

Yelp
Olde city is one of my favorite areas in the city and I havent been for awhile. Thanks to covid intervening with me dining out. Anyway, I was searching for something different and someone told me about Baby Buns awhile ago...so I figure I'd check it out. The chef was cool and very excited to see people who was as equally enthusiastic about good food. He said everyone's favorite, well most people like the TFC (Taiwanese fried chicken) sandwich....so I went with that. Listen when I tell it was the right combination of crispy yet juicy and tender, it was on point. And the truffle fries were delicious too. If your ever in the area, definitely check them out. Two thumbs up

Yelp
Yesssss!!! Top quality food and a quick order! Feel so lucky to be able to add a new "regular place" to the shortlist of go-to's! The impossible burger here is the best I've ever had! It tastes just how I want a plant-based burger to taste - like the burgers of my summer-bbq-meat-eating youth. Also got the truffle fries and regular fries - both delicious and perfect complements to the burgers. Cannot wait to order from here again!!

Tiia R.

Yelp
They do not have Impossible Burgers, as advertised, but instead offer a Beyond Burger knock- off called Beyond the Butcher. Uh... this is really a third class veggie burger. Two mediocre sliders for $16! If it were Impossible Burgers, might be worth the price.

Andrew S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious buffalo chicken sliders. However, a bit pricey. (I guess everyone in the Bourse needs to jack up prices because of rent)

Julie N.

Yelp
I love the entire menu at Baby Buns. Fresh ingredients and great service! After you have the truffle fries there's no way back.

Kelly O.

Yelp
Was at an event last night and Baby Buns participated - and oh-em-gee!! This was one of my favorite places in the whole hall! The Taiwanese fried chicken sandwich (sweet chili sauce, pickle, chipotle mayo, delish bun) AMAZING!! I want to go back right now for another one!!

Rachel L.

Yelp
Probably the best vendor in Bourse Hall. Dope chef. Gave us an extra bun which was sweet. The food itself was incredible. Hot off the grill, tender pork, "texture was like a philly sloppy joe" -oko. Fresh bun Pickles spiced Burger was also great. Sauces were unique

Marvin A.

Yelp
Served me raw burgers - when I brought it to their attention, they agreed with me, but didn't apologize or show they cared.

HD K.

Yelp
Asked the chef what his favorite was, he recommended the TFC. Very good! Spicy sweet, lightly fried chicken, tangy pickle, and toasted a bun. Perfect happy hour snack!

Jake T.

Yelp
The TFC Burger & Truffle fries were the bomb! Chef was really nice too! Definitely coming back!

Khadia C.

Yelp
I love Baby buns! Not easy to find a great place with wonderful service! I first tried their food at an event and had to go back for more. Good food and good people!

Lucy T.

Yelp
Waited for 20 minutes (i was the only customer) for a $15 burger that was completely cooked beyond recognition and uneatable. Save your money and time and choose another restaurant within the bourse

Michel T.

Yelp
Baby Buns is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing. I tried a few different things on the menu and sad to say I could pick my favorite. Everything was great. The food is very tasty. Every time I visit Philadelphia one of my first stops is the Baby Buns. I can't wait to visit again.
