Tucked away in Flatiron, Baby Grand is a cozy karaoke spot with inviting vibes, private rooms, and a lively bar perfect for belting out tunes with friends.
"Starts At: $120 for two hours for up to 5 people A tiny karaoke lounge in Flatiron, Baby Grand has three private rooms, the largest of which can fit up to 14 people. But unlike most spots on this list, our favorite place to hang out is the bar up front. Swing by on a random weeknight, and you can bond with a few strangers while you all take turns singing songs at $2 a pop. If you’re planning a birthday, there’s also event space in the back with its own stage, starting at $1,050 for three hours." - bryan kim, neha talreja, molly fitzpatrick
"When it comes to bars, Flatiron is a bit of a wasteland. There is, however, a little spot tucked away in a narrow space on 17th Street where you can sit on a stool and join a singalong on any random Tuesday. It’s called Baby Grand, and, as long as you aren’t prone to stage fright, it’s a fun place to gather with a group. There are three karaoke rooms in the back, plus a larger event space that’s about the size of a studio apartment, but the best place to hang is the bar up front. Pop in around 6pm, and it might just be you and four other people singing songs at $2 a pop. Even if it’s crowded, don’t let that stop you from getting on stage." - Bryan Kim
