Love this place great people to hang around bartender is wonderful and on key. Doorman politis person I've ever dealt with in Louisiana. He definitely gives the term Southern hospitality it's true meaning great guy. Definitely would recommend to friends.

Me and a few colleagues are here working in the oil field and we googled bars closest to us. When we decided on this bar ( because it was the closest and open late night) we went in and we were greeted by the worst hospitality. The bartender was a girl 20 something with a lot of black tattoos all over that looked “free” 🤢and she told us we’re in the wrong neighborhood and asked us if we “even had money to pay her bills” before we even placed a drink order. The place was empty and we were trying out all the bars in our vicinity to see where we would like to go to after work. We found another place down the street with a great bartender that was cool and he treated us like family. No wonder this place is empty. A new bartender is much needed here if this hole in the wall ever wants to make any kind of revenue.

Great place to hang out listen to some wonderful music and the bartender Dani it's absolutely fantastic she's kind and inviting and always has a conversation to share.

It's a very small bar. The drinks were great! The bartender was amazing! I don't know her name but she all alone tended bar from 7 pm to after midnight in a tiny bar and was slaying it!

Great place! Friendly & quick staff. Karaoke on Wednesday is so much fun. Drink prices are so low for the area. Constantly coming up with drink specials too! Live music on the weekends is great. If you haven't been to Babylon...you're missing out on a great little cozy bar!

The live band nights and regular Wednesday karaoke nights are always a blast. They keep great bar staff. Rob does a very nice job running a no BS bar. Downside: this place is not for you if you absolutely can't stand smoke. I personally love the place.

I was practicing darts and a customer kept using the word N****R AND not a single person in that establishment other than me say something. Not even the bar tender. So I'll take myself to another establishment that's respects its customers.

Very small local dive bar. Very smoky :( but I get it. -star for that Apparently this is a dart bar. Regulation boards, supplies for sale. "They bout that dart life!" This bar has a lot of character. What I love about this bar is that the bartender. Great drinks great prices. Surprise! Definitely worth a visit.

I love this place! It's a lot of regulars so there's no stupid riff raff going on, and the owner Rob is cool as hell. They're always having awesome bands come play, but warning sometimes they can be pretty heavy! It's a small hole in the wall bar but it's got good people and good vibes. Babs will always be my go to bar when I'm in Metairie!

A crazy tiny little metal bar in Metairie. Easy to pass up, so just look for the long haired metal type guys and gals out in front drinking. Inside, again, its tiny. But cool. No stage for bands to play on, they just kinda set up on the floor like they do at Siberia sometimes. Actually , the second largest room in this bar is the video poker area, odd since hardly no one is playing them. Bottle beer selection is ok, and its a full bar, but nothing crazy fancy. It is what it is. No food sold here or food trucks outside. Biggest advice I have, is bring and wear ear plugs if your here to listen to live band. You have been warned! Mua hua hua

Yeah - It's a hole in the wall! Yeah - It's a dive bar! So what get over it! My favorite kind of place to go to. Went for Karaoke and met some really nice people not to mention I had a blast. Yeah - It was a little difficult getting a drink but you know ... that girl was busting her little ass off so be patient. If you have a frown on your face and you're miserable this is not the place for you. So lighten up before walk in the door and chill the F out!!!

Awesome cozy laid back place , friendly atmosphere . Karaoke every wednesday night is always fun . Mondays 2 for 1 for guys 8 to midnight is great hanging out with the always friendly attentive bartender Wiyanna . Great music , great owner Robert Burke , good bartenders , good safe place all the way around .

Cheap drinks! Place is such a hole in the wall. Creepy, latenight crowd and mostly rock music. Video poker and a jukebox. Bands can play here some nights too. Stays open till the sun is out, but you would never know because the only door is blacked out. Reminds me of a casino because you never know what time it is. Gotta love it for a last stop of the night when everything else is closed. Vincent & Brian are the best!

I dunno what the others are talking about. Nice place, great owner, well kept on inside. It's just off of veterans. New music promoter, no metal feel at all, new applications, machines & two for one drinks in the afternoon. I'm new to the are...but so far, best bar I've found.

Go to the Babylon Music & Sports Bar! The owner is really a cool young man with a great dog. I mean, this place is so cool, the guy's family will even hang out there! Drink specials and a variety of beers, but a totally non-commercialized place. No, there is no kitchen so stop off at the burger joint or taco place before you come but there is a good neighborhood crowd especially late night. This is one of those cozy places where newcomers can come fit right in and feel at home. This could very well be the place they made the song about.."The Smaller the Club, the Bigger the Party!"

No. Fun. At. All. My friend wanted to do karaoke before he left town, so we decided to try Babylon. Big mistake. Apparently, you can only sing if you're friends with the DJ, as he was very rude to me and my friends. Not that we could easily sing in there anyway because it was so smokey in the bar. Finally, the only bartender working that night must have been new because it took too long for us to get our drinks. I would not recommend going here for karaoke or for any other reason.

I love this place. I'm a dive bar kinda guy so this place hits all the right marks for me. Small, dark, cheap drinks and laid back people. The owner is good at keeping the shitty people out and he comes in often to make sure no one is causing problems.
