Baby's Snack Box

I was with a group of High School seniors doing missions and outreach in the area. Word quickly spread of how awesome the food is at Baby's Snack Box so we just HAD to get some. We ended up taking everyone on the bus over and getting ~ 50 snowballs and they were AMAZING. Thank you for taking such good care of us on a hot day! We look forward to coming back! I came here to try the Red Bean Plate and it was everything I hoped it would be! Red beans, chicken wings, AND cornbread, and such a reasonable price. Honestly, the menu is quite wide so I almost changed my mind from what I came for, but I stuck with it and honestly I get the red beans every time. I come here on a Monday because of it. That chili dog looks good though. Everyone is friendly and I also got me a really cute t-shirt.

I give it four stars because of the wilted lettuce. The waiting time was reasonable. Staff was friendly. The sandwich taste good. The price for this and a small drink is a bit pricey. I actually couldn’t drink the strawberry lemonade because it was too sweet to me.

Neighbor snack shop there’s a few outside seats to enjoy your food. I got the hot wings w/ fries coke and mango snowball. Debit card accepted minimum amount required.

The best wings in the city of New Orleans. I order the Cajun ranch with lemon pepper whenever they’re out of hot or mild sauce. I highly recommend this spot for take out. I love their reasonable prices.

Came for crawfish nachos. The lady up front had the worse attitude on planet. Waited forever I didn’t mind that but the crawfish nachos is drenched in onions. Idk if it has parsley or something it just overpowers any taste I tried to pick them off but they put so much cheese the cops were soggy Just ugh. When I seen them at first I asked if I can pay extra for them to swoop the top off & put chili. I was told no Had I been accommodated for j would’ve paid extra I would’ve came back but my expier. Was just not it.

We ordered catering tonight. We got the chicken and sausage jambalaya, shrimp pasta, and stuffed eggs. We got the whole pans with 50 eggs and it easily fed 15 people. Excellent service and the food was delicious! That cheesy shrimp pasta was one of the best shrimp pastas I've ever had. Definitely recommend.

I am excited every Monday to get my red beans with 5 pieces of chicken for $10!! The red beans have pickled meat in it which is hard to come by. Most places only want to give you smoke sausage. The chicken is drumettes but they are large pieces and seasoned to perfection! The chicken salad is one of the best in the city. I usually order on Uber and pick up at the restaurant.

You looking for a good snack definitely hit up Baby's Snack Box. VIBE -street parking in the neighborhood -walk up stand -2 round tables to eat at -cash and card available -keep your head on the swivel, nobody gon' bother you, just be aware of where y'at. SHORT STORY Variety of food options, snowballs are good and the food is good as well! Great prices! LONG STORY Went to Baby's during the week around 5pm. Wasn't a long line just a few eating at the 2 tables they have and a few to walk up and leave. They have plenty of food options, I decided to get the crawfish nachos and a snowball. My girl had the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, which were good as well! The lady taking the order was thorough and made sure she clearly understood what you wanted for your order. Really nice! Felt like home! Didn't take too long to get the food, maybe depending on what you order but I was surprised about the crawfish nachos, usually you get messed around over on the cheese but they hooked it up foreal! Every chip had enough cheese and crawfish, I needed a fork! The crawfish had great flavor too! Snow ball was good too. Ice wasn't the smoothest I've ever had but nothing to complain about. Just eat it and enjoy the day, it's prolly hot outside! I'd return, definitely wanna try the wings.

We went to pick up an early lunch there and there were a few people waiting. I got a 5 piece Cajun ranch wing combo with fries with ranch and cheese added and my SO got the club combo. We were told 15 minutes but it was closer to 25 minutes. Got home because we definitely weren't eating in this heat and dove in! The wings were delicious and the fries were doused in cheese and ranch...no light drizzle here! Will go back but make sure you're not in a rush.

Heard about this place from my favorite local Tiktok guy Hold the Mayo for his red beans Monday's videos. This is the first place I've tried he recommended and now I believe every one of his reviews. This was the best 7 dollar red beans I've ever had. But you just don't get that. Combo comes with three wings and a thick piece of light and fluffy corn bread. I'd come back on a non red beans special day just to get wings. I believe they are also on Uber eats if you don't feel like leaving the comfort of your home for some good wings.

Baby's was one of my fav culinary experiences on my latest trip to Nola. We had the chicken wings, yakamein, and snowballs. The lemon pepper chicken wings were so juicy and perfectly cooked. The seasoning on them left you wanting more. So much so that we went back after our trip to city park! We tried most flavors but the Cajun ranch was sold out for the day. The barbecue wings were great as well. The yakamein was my first time having it, and particularly nice as the first thing I'd eaten after a night out drinking. My son chose kiwi for his snowball and it was outstanding. The people are kind, the food is made to order, and the price is right. Be ready to wait for this local spot It's well worth it.

Forgot to take photos; the food was simply delicious. The customer service was amazing and will continue to order from her for catering. The owners are extremely responsive and friendly. Be it that the holidays are around the corner, they were able to squeeze us in their schedule. My company had ordered catered shrimp pasta meals! No words could describe it! So much love was made into it, wish we had more. Baby Snack Box is a hidden gem in plain sight. Everyone should at least go here and try the food. Oh, the snowballs are great too. When you want a home-cooked meal and you do not feel like cooking, this is the spot. Make sure you tell her Reiona sent you!

We stopped here during a hunger emergency and it was exactly what we wanted. Our entire order was like 10 bucks, and everything was tasty. If I had one complaint, its that the snow cone had TOO MUCH syrup - when's the last time you said that ? If I lived here I bet this would be a go-to snack stop!

The chili and cheese on anything is delicious! Burger- fries-hot dog so glad I saw it on IG!

2 stars because it could've been worse. Customer service was great, she listened and made sure our order was correct but the food was extremely bland no seasoning at all.

Delivery was quick! Piping Hot! She didn't skip on the bbq sauce. Fries were perfect! This was my second time ordering from here. I'll definitely try something else on her menu soon!

The people who work in the back is very rude The owner could at least make the snowball look like a snowball instead of just ice and 1 teaspoon of juice flavor.Hot dogs can be a little better Fries can be a little Cooked all the way Chicken salad is the best

I was just walking around trying to find a nice place to eat, and I this little place. Doesn't look like much at all, but the food is great, people are nice, and the lady that works on the counter is the sweetest person I have ever met. This is a must try if your ever in New Orleans.

Having never experienced a classic New Orleans food stand, the locals we met steered me towards Baby's -- which was only a two-block walk from our rental house! For other newbies, a Snowball is like those SnoCones you made as a kid -- but much larger and tastier. The shaved ice is very packed tightly into a large cup, the top of the ice is shaped with a rounded funnel, and then the whole thing is drenched in your choice of flavor. For a few cents more, they'll put some ice cream in the middle -- making a "Stuffed" snoball! (Highly recommended.) The Stuffed Snowball lends itself to lots of yummy combinations - we tried the Root Beer snowball stuffed with Vanilla Ice Cream ("Ice Cream Float"), the Orange snowball with Vanilla Ice Cream ("Creamsicle"), and the Wedding Cake snowball with Vanilla Ice Cream (I don't have a name for that one -- but it was really good!)

Been having a snowball kick lately. I get the same thing every time, strawberry with condensed milk. Baby always getcha right!

Needed a quick bite before work and dropped by the snack box and grabbed a bacon cheese burger. Highly recommend coming here! These burgers will change ya life!

CLASSIC TREME FOOD STAND with snowballs, tamales, red beans & rice, etc. KINDA DICEY LOCATION, go in the daytime & commune with the local characters; YAT KA MEIN: $6 small, $8 large; $5 burger or hot dog meals with fries and soda.

Don't miss out on the turkey club and fries. It's delicious. Four stars because it's not a five star offering, but the food (and snoballs) do not. disappoint. If you're nearby and want a snack (as the name suggests) baby's is a stop well worth it in tremé.

When you think of a snack stand, then think of Baby's Snack Box. Leave the fancy and frills for that other guy. There was a large crowd out front, spilling over from a party held a the venue next door. The wait was still less than five minutes and I ordered a Sour Green Apple snoball. It was tart, twangy and full of juice and flavor. The kiddo's around me gave me a multitude of suggestions to try when I came back. This is what you call a true Treme neighborhood gem, it had all the feels of community which I do enjoy.

This is a typical, old fashioned New Orleans "snack shack!" Snowballs are simple & SUPER good, as are the nachos, burgers & hot dog combos. Really glad their beginning to have regular hours! Only con is there's usually only one person working so service takes time, but then u get to take in the neighborhood sights & talk to ppl in line & passin on "banquette" (sidewalk)!
