One & done…never again. Ordered the chicken & shrimp combo gif dinner and was very disappointed. Everything seemed like it was cooked to order but none of it looked or tasted fresh. Especially the chicken which was very salty and peppery at the same time. Last but least it was close to 90 degrees inside according to their thermometer on the wall near the sushi station. Maybe worth a try but I won’t be going back.

Google
The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The salmon and shrimp hibachi were delicious. The flavors were fantastic, and the portions were generous. The service was excellent, too—friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Google
This is my first time and all I’ve got to say is well done. I ordered this to go and thought it would be different but the chicken shrimp and miso soup with my extra seasoning was so good! I have more than enough for tomorrow to eat. I will be ordering again

Google
Fantastic Hibachi and Sushi. Not your normal in and out Japanese Hibachi spot. Menu has a Filipino flair to all the items and the food is prepared with more flavor and seasoning then you'll ever find at your common hibachi express spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new Hibachi experience, all of the food was sensational.

Google
It was perfectly mediocre. All the food we ordered was oily from the tempura, gyoza and teriyaki chicken. The chicken was tremendously overcooked and hard to chew. The tempura was pretty good and the cauliflower wings too. We were surprised when the cauliflower wings came with regular American BBQ instead of a KBBQ but they didn’t specify in the description, so that’s on us. The gyoza were not worth getting again. They were loosely filled, lacked flavor and the sauce was thinned and watery. I got the bento box and while nothing was actively bad or harming me, it wasn’t any good either. I would come back on a weeknight if I just needed something adjacent to Japanese/Hibachi cuisine, but don’t come here expecting high quality. The staff were all nice and the place was clean, the food itself was just mediocre.

Google
The food is delicious! Our waiter was awesome he made sure we was took care of and I T was a pleasant dining experience. It’s a small restaurant but did I say the food was delicious? If you like hibachi style food then this is a great place to eat. We will be going back!

Google
Someone suggested this restaurant on a vegan page. When I realized it was not far, I ordered pick up asap. Food did not disappoint! Now this is not a vegan restaurant, however they know how to accommodate vegetarian and vegan. They have so many choices! Spring rolls, goyza, bento box, veggie tempura, vegan and veggie hibachi meal with vegan sweet sauce, lots of vegan sushi! I got it all and it was all delicious. If I didn’t like anything it was the fact I didn’t get extra sweet sauce, so make sure you order extra, it’s delicious.

Google
First and foremost, stellar service. Friendly, fast and attentive. Love the casual wooden decor and overall atmosphere. Plenty of seating by the bar, table and outside. And of course most importantly the food. Delicious sushi with a good selection of specialty rolls. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We also ordered the Hibachi fried rice with chicken it was excellent and cooked to perfection. Today they had a special on the sushi rolls, buy one get one at half off. Loved this place and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Uhmmm, it's with deep regret that I'm not a fan.Let me begin with the bright spot: The staff is phenomenal!!! Now for my meal: Ordered the shrimp hibachi, The food is just "um-er". Shrimp was extremely salty, the garlic noodles that are standard on the dish were bland, lacking garlic, sauce, and flavor. The veggies on the dish also were flavor less. I wanted it to be just a bad day, but this was my 2nd attempt with my son. For a lunch bill for two to equal $45..... nah, there are way better options to experience. Oh well, Onward and Upward we go. At least my "date" was awesome company. lol BUY LOCAL and DINE LOCAL

Yelp
This was my first time checking out Bachi with a friend of mine and I really enjoyed it. It's super chill inside and not very big, but that was no problem. The owner was our server and he was so sweet and funny! He immediately made me feel at home. He explained the menu and had some great recommendations. It tried the bento box so I could sample a little bit of a lot lol. I really enjoyed that, but the star of the show was the lumpia. The owner said his Grandma makes these from scratch and you can tell. I rarely find lumpia out in the wild, especially in Charlotte. So, I had to try it and I'm so happy I did. I will be back soon to get some more! I even told my fiance about this place so we can come back and enjoy more food together!!!

Yelp
I came here during Lent on a Friday, so I was limited to ordering fish or seafood. I wanted to order something Filipino. Unfortunately they did not have many options that I could choose from, as most Filipino items included pork. So I settled on a shrimp skewers dish. It was decent. I have alot of Filipino friends and they eat rice with absolutely everything, so I simply do NOT understand why this entree did not come with rice. I was surprised and disappointed. The star of the meal was halo halo for dessert. It was amazing. Huge portion with ube ice cream and lots of goodies. I have no idea what all was in it. There was a mixture of textures and flavors. If you've never had one, this is a good place to get one because it's probably the best I've ever had. I chatted extensively with the cashier and he was really nice. The restaurant itself is very hidden. You have to walk around the corner from other restaurants to get to it. There is not a very visible sign in order to find it. The inside is clean and very casual. I would come back and try other items.

Yelp
Quality food, great service. This place sushi, hibachi and some filapino dishes. Met the owner real nice guy, very personable. The inside ambiance is low key and simple, nothing special. Looks more like a lunch spot and looks like they get a lot of take-out. They don't cook in front of you, that is done in the kitchen. Service is very fast. We had the pork spring rolls(lola lumpia shanghai) for an appetizer, very good. We shared a shrimp and steak hibachi combo dish. Was very good, a little on the salt side. They serve alcohol, always a plus. Will defined go back.

Yelp
I will never order from Bachi again. This is the 3rd or 4th time I gave them and opportunity. Today my food took over 35 min for pick when quoted 20. I was given an extra shrimp sauce for compensation. My food was disgusting I have a whole plate of food that can be returned besides the rice I picked through but the noodles and vegetables are still on the plate. The slice of cheesecake was frozen, rock hard frozen and they served me this to go. I couldn't even cut into with a knife or a fork initially. I called the restaurant 3x to resolve, no answer.

Yelp
Just went for a birthday celebration. First time going. Parking is fine but the restaurant is to the back. If you just look for the sign, it will look like it's in an ice cream shop. They have sidewalk signs guiding you. Service was good. The food was good. I ordered hibachi chicken which lasted me two days with me sharing. It was flavorful and it came with rice and noodles. I really liked the noodles. I will definitely be back to support in the future.

Yelp
I found my new eatery for Filipino cuisine. "BACHI". They serve halo-halo a tall full of goodness with shaved ice and cream. They serve crisp pork belly ( Lechon kawali) yummy one of my favorite Philippine dishes. We ordered Lola's lumpia Shanghai (Philippine fried meat egg rolls) delish. To top it off with some grilled squid. Cooked to perfection. I love everything about this simple eatery. Sevice is outstanding, very attentive servers and crew. The menu is full of my favorites. They have sushi, and hibachi to choose from. I will be back. That's for sure.

Yelp
The ambiance leaves a lot of room for improvement, but the food? So delicious, fresh and clean! I often worry about ordering meats out because I'm weird about any suspect pieces. The chicken hibachi was SO good and all chicken breast.. perfect little crisp on the outside too! The owner or chef came out and it was so nice to see him checking on tables!

Yelp
I feel bad for giving these guys a three star review because I feel like it might be my fault I wasn't satisfied with the food. I was being cheap and got the deal of the day which was a great price at $10. Let's start off with the good. The this spot was pretty clean. The staff were friendly and the food came out quickly. I was looking for something fast and cheap so I ordered the deal of the day -- the chicken teriyaki rice bowl with white rice. The rice was the good fluffy rice (possibly calrose) and the $10 price point was welcomed. The bad? The dish itself just wasn't satisfying. The teriyaki sauce was fine but there wasn't much going on with the chicken. I understand that it was only $10 bucks, but I wish there was a vegetable element to it. Maybe some onions mixed in with the chicken or even a sprinkle of freshly chopped green onions for a pop of color and flavor. That would have made the dish 100 times better. The other knock is that their regular menu is pretty pricy for the type of food that is offered. I wasn't able to justify spending that much money ($25+) on hibachi style food. Maybe if there was a show along with it like in a teppanyaki restaurant I would be okay spending that kind of money -- but this was just a normal sit-down and order spot. I'll try this spot again some day and I'll spend the extra money to see if the regular menu changes my mind, but as of experience yesterday 3 stars seems fair. Sorry guys!! You guys were so nice!!

Yelp
Ordered sushi and steak hibachi for take out. Sushi was meh, but hibachi was tasty. Service was reasonably quick. No frills restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Please RUN from this place and do not look back. I already have high expectations because I'm from CA but this has to be the worst bento box and sushi I've ever had. The chicken was dry and oily. Look at how much oil was sitting under the chicken and it was so dry it hurt when I would chew. The tempura veggies were soggy and flavorless and didn't have broccoli. The rice with the orange sauce was the only thing that was good. We ordered shrimp tempura roll on the side and it only had rice and shrimp tempura are you kidding me?? Where is the cucumber or avocado? For the price I spent this was not worth it. The service was good, friendly people but please do better.. you can just tell they do not care about the quality of the food. I promise you can find better food you will be disappointed

Yelp
The Aesthetic: A relaxed atmosphere with counter service or table service, and a massive sushi menu full of unique and interesting rolls. They have a special vegan sushi menu that also looks great. The Price: The prices are low to average for the city. If you go for the basic or veggie rolls, you can have an affordable meal. I always end up spending a little more because I want to try multiple rolls, but I feel like I can get a good amount of sushi for the price here. The Parking: The parking can get tight on a busy day in this plaza, so I suggest coming a little earlier at lunchtime for the best spot selection. My Order: I've had my ups and downs here, mainly because this is the sushi spot where I realized my aversion to torched sushi rolls. They have multiple torched/smoked options, and the smoky fish taste just isn't for me. I gave it a couple shots, but I can't get into it. My favorites have been the Bachi Roll, the Avocado Roll with cream cheese, and the Ocean Roll. The Conclusion: There is an endless amount of sushi on this menu that caters to carnivores and veggie lovers, I highly recommend trying it!

Yelp
I love this place it's my first time and I'll certainly be a repeat customer! The food was Ah-Mazing! I ordered the NY strip and shrimp combo dinner with the deep fried caliente crunch rolls and I loved every bite! The waitress was prompt and attentive and made sure I had all I needed. The space is small but still roomy enough to dine in and very clean!!! A local neighborhood gem in university city and I'm so happy to discover it.

Yelp
I finally made time to drive out 45 minutes to check out this place in the University area, far north of Charlotte. I hit the place close to 2 pm, and there was only 1 table full. The place itself was casual and cozy...and much smaller than I had anticipated. As expected, it was a walk-up eatery...but the price points were not cheap. Basically, it struck me as an upscaled version of something like Sake Japan. I would have liked the place, but it was incredibly stuffy...as it felt as if they had no A/C on this 90-degree day?!? I regretted not eating outside on their small patio. Anyway, I ordered the Hibachi Combo (NY Strip & Shrimp)...which came with Fried Rice, Sobe Noodles and some Veggies...a very full dish! It might have been a tad short of the fresh, live Hibachi grill demonstration dinner, but still quite good...very fulfilling! Then I decided to try this highly raved and photographed dessert, "Halo Halo". Well, this dessert (which included a scoop of ice cream!) was initially served in an ill-fitting To-Go Cup with a closed lid (Why, I have no idea...given that I was dining in?!?). This busy Shaved Ice/Ice Cream-Plus dessert was literally squeezed and smooshed in together). Seriously, it looked so bad (like some fancy dessert trying to look like an ice cream shake???), it was laughable. Funny thing is that I haven't seen a single version of this dessert in Yelp served like that...like CRAP. I mean, just look at the Yelp picture of this dessert...and imagine that semi-fancy dessert stuffed into an ill-fitting plastic cup with a lid, with ice cream squeezed underneath. WTF?!? Well, as much as I hated doing it, I went back up to the counter and asked for this expensive dessert in a decent cup or glass. Well, they managed to serve up an attractive version of this dessert this time...like the versions I saw in Yelp beforehand. Sadly, I still didn't love it...as the middle portion of the dessert were these frozen SHEETS OF ICE!! I know that a portion of this dessert was supposed to be Shaved Ice, but this was more like a big LUMP of ice. I did like the Lychee-esque toppings on the bottom, but the Ube Ice Cream turned out to be kinda tasteless. OMG...what luck with this dessert. Don't think I'll be ordering that again. I appreciated their second chance efforts, but this dessert was just not happening for me, I guess. So...very mixed feelings about this place. Hated the lack of A/C and the super-botchy desserts (despite the 2nd attempt?)...but I really liked the Hibachi Combo. Also, I liked their menu, and there were plenty of other things I'd like to try...minus that botch-friendly "Halo Halo" lol. Given what I experienced here, I can't give higher than 3 stars. Hopefully I can bump up the review if I return in the future?

Yelp
Great sushi! The service was good. The place is small so I ordered take out. They had so many different sushi rolls. I got the spider role and the uh it's 10:33 roll. It was very good!! I'm going back to try more sushi rolls and the habachi!
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Our favorite place for vegan sushi! They have a separate vegan sushi menu and items are clearly labeled. The vegan shrimp sauce elevates the vegetable hibachi and the sushi is superb I always try to eat here when I visit Trader Joe's
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
Overall okay. It's better than what you would expect when looking at it butttt I wouldn't give it a 4 due to food quality. The fish in the sushi was meh. I've had a lot of sushi in my life and this just doesn't stand up to it. The hibachi overall was decent but the rice and noodles are plain and the steak was chewy. The hibachi scallops and vegetables were excellent. and the lumpia was delissshhhh
google avatar

Nisa Q.

Yelp
Looks delicious! I only have 2 issues. Veggies and noodles could've been cooked longer and a little more flavor. Worth it though.
google avatar

AnneShey N.

Yelp
Found this hiding gem by searching Yelp/near by me restaurant. I love the poke bowl, loaded with everything I like, and good portions of salmon fish. My friend had the hibachi chicken with rice, lo-mein and some veggies. Servings are big enough for two. We also had some edamame, lumpia (spring rolls) they're all good, except the empanadas, tasted okay, and a little dry.

Promise P.

Yelp
Prices way too high. The chicken is dry and flavorless and the rice isn't even fried. They used to have deals and specials on hibachi and sushi but they took it away for some selfish reason. Overall, the taste of the food and the price of the food doesn't match. Why is a shrimp and steak hibachi combo almost $30 including tax? That's ridiculous, do better and change the prices. You're still going to make your money, stop being greedy.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
Haven't been there in a while but each time I've gone the food is delicious and fresh!
google avatar

Nancy T.

Yelp
We paid $106 dollars for 3 Meals and 1 avocado roll. RiP OFF!! We ordered hibachi filet. The meat was DRY. TOUGH and not good at all. Also Very little meat for $30 an order. Never again. Don't go here

Hope A.

Yelp
LOVED This . I placed my order online, the pick up process was easy. nice size order . steak cooked nice grill taste not too salty. Definitely a 10/10 will be back and definitely recommend.

Yelp
I was 99.9% sure I had written a review for this place before, but I'm not seeing it. They probably got 4 or even 5 stars that first time around when I ate there. I guess I should have read some more recent reviews before headed back. I ordered 2 Hibachi and 2 rolls to go. Was well over $50 and I didn't even get a combo hibachi or a specialty roll. I know COGs have gone up, but that seems a little steep. I didn't say anything as it's my fault for not looking at the menu prior. Anyhow, I get there and they have my package all nice and tied up. With the sushi literally sitting on top of the hot food. I believe the other people now about the possibility of food poisoning from this place. We look at our sushi and the filling is pretty stingy with the fish, especially for $10 for a regular roll. Then onto the entrees, the chicken was horribly over cooked. I could have gotten a better meal from fast food hibachi place around the corner for half that. I don't know what's going on, maybe they just had a bad night, but I won't be going back any time soon to find out if that was the case. I probably would have given 1 star, but the fact that my prior 4 or 5 star review doesn't seem to be around anymore mad me feel bad about stooping that low.

Yelp
My go to for quick and tasty fil-am foods, specially the halo-halo. The service is super friendly.
google avatar

Carlee P.

Yelp
Second time being here. First time was takeout and it was good. Came to dine in this time and service was excellent, checked on us a couple of times. Quality and affordable sushi. I need to try their other dishes too! The table next to us ordered the halo halo and it looked super delicious!
google avatar

Mariah M.

Yelp
Good service, ok food. The lumpia was DELICIOUS and that was the best item we had. I really enjoyed them on their own and with the sauce they came with, I'd order a whole plate of those alone! Now, onto the hibachi and sushi. I was deeply disappointed in the hibachi mainly due to the fact that the meats were VERY salty and the hibachi noodles had very little flavor. I wouldn't even order hibachi from there again which is ironic because they are called bachi. The sushi was meh, nothing to write home about and way too heavy on the sauces. I couldn't see myself ordering that again. The service was good, prompt despite being busy and I think a little understaffed.
google avatar

Brian N.

Yelp
Sushi and hibachi, what more do you need! Food was great, service was excellent. Would definitely recommend trying if you were in the area
google avatar

Tia W.

Yelp
I called in to order and that was a good experience. It was simple to pick up also. I enjoyed my sushi and my partner enjoyed his hibachi. I didn't enjoy the fried roll that much-- not to say it wasn't prepared well but maybe I just shouldn't expect for everything that is fried to be delicious LOL and that is on me. Overall, I would order from here again.
google avatar

Sloan P.

Yelp
Great food, really fast service. We got the fried pork gyoza, chicken hibachi, and 2 nigiri (smoked salmon and tuna i think). Good prices too
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
The food here is frickin on point with great service. They have awesome lumpia, and you can't pass up the Halo halo dessert!!
google avatar

SonnY A.

Yelp
Place opened up not too long ago. Wanted some hibachi. Stopped in for lunch today. Place was empty but it was 2pm. It's not a place where they cook right in front of you (teppenyaki I guess is what that's called, idk idc that's just a observation) Order: Chicken and shrimp hibachi with garlic noodles, fried rice, onions and carrots. I got 4 sides of shrimp sauce. Shrimp sauce: 12/10 - baby them lil 2oz cups yall got is NOT ENOUGH LOL. BRING ME THE SAUCE BUCKET AND A LADLE. I really enjoyed the flavor of the shrimp sauce WOW. IT WAS DIVINE. I poured all 4 over the dish and mixed it together for the best of both worlds. lol Chicken: 10/10 - seasoned well Shrimp: 10/10 - juicy! Rice: 10/10 - cooked perfectly. Onions: 5/10 - found some large chunks of onion in the dish, i like onion don't get me wrong and it still tasted great but i bit into what i thought was chicken and it was a chunk of onion lmao Carrots: 1/10 - my least favorite, they were cooked with something in a pan, i could tell but they were crunchy chips and i guess i was expecting them to be a bit softer. I have usually only eaten carrots that were a bit sweeter and almost juicy but these were not that...at all. The only ding im giving i ended up picking them out Overall score: 9/10 I am full and happy with what i got. I will next time opt for no veggies and maybe get extra rice or noodles because those were good. Definitely check it out
google avatar

Nykia P.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this spot but it was disappointing.. went on a Saturday evening with my partner and he didn't even finish his food. The chicken was very salty. Like I would be concerned for someone who has high blood pressure. I also had a combo with steak & chicken. I had maybe 7 pieces of steak. For $25 I would expect at least a portion of steak but 7 pieces no. The customer service was amazing i will give them that but as far as food wise, not so much. I would be interested in trying the sushi maybe some time down the line.
google avatar

Wendy S.

Yelp
The partner-in-dine and I were hesitant at first to eat at Bachi, but we're glad that we decided to give it a try. Service was friendly, attentive and fast. The food all came out quickly. The California Maki was good. The Lola's Lumpia Shanghai was crunchy and delicious. The Crispy Pork Belly was perfectly crispy and lip-smackingly awesome. But the crowning glory of our early dinner was the Halo-halo dessert. The ube ice cream was just the tip of the iceberg. The shaved ice tasted sweet of condensed milk. There was a colorful gamut of sweet delights in the halo-halo. Definitely go there for the Filipino dishes and leave with a happy tummy!
google avatar

Stacey A.

Yelp
Friend recommended this spot for lunch because I wanted something different some place I hadn't tried. Glad I did. Definite lunch rush. Thankfully we got there at 11:30 before it started. Inside looks like no table service but that's not the case! We sat ourselves and were quickly given menus. I had a shrimp combo and my friend had the steak and shrimp meal. We split the fried cauliflower wings. We did not and could not eat it all. The portions are huge!! Everything was delicious. Great options for vegans and vegetarians. Good service. Clean bathrooms.
google avatar

Nathan B.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem, and you have to try their vegan options! I am a big fan of the Crispy Cauliflower Wings (Vegan). They honestly look & taste like chicken wings. The vegan ranch that goes with them is delicious as well. Also give the hibachi chicken a try. Best part it comes with rice & noodles! If sushi is your thing, it does not disappoint & is very reasonably priced...

Yelp
I heard great thing about Bachi and have wanted to find some authentic Filipino food in the Charlotte area. Since I was in the area I planned to have lunch here. We got to the restaurant right before the lunch rush. I was a little taken a back by the lack of clean tables when we got there. Since the restaurant had just opened and the staff was chatting and playing on their phones when we got there I didn't expect for there to salt and debris all over the tables. No one ever wiped the tables off either. We ordered the Chicken and Shrimp hibachi style dinner and the Lola's Lumpia Shanghai appetizer. I knew that Lumpia was a Filipino dish but felt like the Chicken and Shrimp dish was more Japanese style dish. The two were a lot of food for my mom and myself to share. We forced ourselves to finish the dinner plate and brought the Lumpia home to eat later. Yes it does seem like we should have eaten the fried dish first and brought home the other items to reheat later but the Lumpia came out after the other dish and was fresh out the grease and unable to consume until it cooled off. I would have to say they were fine to snack on at room temperature. The Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi comes with both rice and noodles and hibachi veggies. There was also a side of shrimp sauce for the plate. The items were cooked well and not burned. The Lumpia really didn't have much flavor for me. Nothing stood out to me. I like the concept of Bachi and I think they try but overall I wasn't impressed. I would never drive back to the Mallard Creek area to go here. Yelp
I love this place for veg sushi. Their veg sushi menu has variety, tons of fillings and flavors. I find most place's veggie sushi is honestly a bit lame. Not here. Totally recommend just for that.
google avatar

Kami J.

Yelp
I loved the vibe inside the restaurant will definitely be coming back. Customer service was good! They were very patient as i ordered for me, my 4 year old, my grandma, my aunt, & my brother. So much props for that! Love a patient & kind host! The food was pretty good I would give it 8/10. We all got hibachi, & the overall consensus was that the rice & noodles could use a little more flavor but everything was definitely edible. We enjoyed it!

Bonita E.

Yelp
Went here for lunch. The food was good but honey thought his presentation was underwhelming. Still he cleaned his plate so it must have tasted good. I had a deep fried role. Have I mentioned I don't like raw fish. Anyway mine was spicy and good. He finished my last two bites. It's basically a little hole in the wall. The food was good and very reasonably priced.
google avatar

Ashley U.

Yelp
This place is small but packed with awesomeness. The sushi is so fresh! Hibachi is great and really impressive for the pricing. Portions are big enough to always have some left overs. I highly recommend their sushi for sushi lovers but really anything on the menu will not leave you disappointed. Staff was super attentive and welcoming.

Yelp
When I heard about a new restaurant serving Filipino dishes, I had to check it out! The hubs and I decided to dine here on a Saturday evening. The place was pretty busy, but not packed. We were greeted upon entering and seated right away. The space is a decent size, not too big. It's clean, bright, and open. Plenty of indoor seating and a few umbrella tables outside. In addition to a few Filipino dishes, Bachi also serves Hibachi style entrees, sushi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes. They also offer vegan options. We tried the following: Caterpillar Roll $9.00 Miso Soup $2 Pork BBQ $8 Scallop Meal $11 Halo Halo $7 Ube Coconut Shake $5 The food is pretty authentic! The pork bbq, halo halo, and ube coconut shake tasted just like how I remembered them in the Philippines. Delicious! The sushi, soup, and scallop meal were also pretty good. Prices are very reasonable for the portions. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Omg!!! I'm putting this place on my list of favorites. They are good and very affordable. Service was fast and man o man this food is so flavorful. And you get a good portion size for the price. Listen I already want to go back for seconds. I'm a big fan of habachi and let me just say this one is going at the top of my list. They also make sushi to order and I'm sure I saw a BOGO 50%....now that's a deal. I will be sure to add a sushi roll to my order next time because I for sure love me some sushi. If you are a Habachi lover....this place is for you!!

Yelp
Listen I'm going to be over critical for sure. But i know what Filipino food should taste like. And if i could give 3.5 stars I would but I can't - so 3 it is. I came here strictly for the Filipino food. It was actually the halo halo that I came here for. We ordered the following items: Kids meal - chicken with noodles. It's a super small amount of chicken just cut up into several small pieces. It's probably about 2-3oz worth of chicken. The noodles are just spaghetti noodles that are seasoned with spices and soy sauce. Not bad actually. The chicken breast a little dry and the veggies were a good assortment. Crispy Cauliflower Wing - the first bite I was like what the ? But it actually grew on me and I enjoyed it. It has a crispy, slightly chewy batter that is sweet and tangy. The inside is soft and juicy. Lola's Lumpia Shanghai - I love that it comes with 8 pieces. Not stingy at all. But they are petite. Most lumpia is thin so this is expected. It wasn't bad at all. I mean I'm particular to mine and my mom's but for eating out. I was pleasantly surprised. Crispy Pork Belly - this was hands down the best thing we ordered. It was cooked perfectly and delicious. But... I asked for fish sauce and vinegar. They did have vinegar, no fish sauce. I told my man - the sever would probably look at me crazy if I asked for some Tomas Mang (all purpose sauce) (my other Filipinos will know what I'm talking about). While this isn't a "Filipino" restaurant- I think if you're going to serve Filipino food why not have the accompaniments that normally go along with a dish. And any Pinoy will you tell they eat their pork belly with either Tomas mang or Paris (fish sauce) & vinegar. Pork BBQ skewers - I would strongly suggest telling everyone to pass on this. And it's not because of the piece of hair embedded in one of our sticks. But it's just not authentic Filipino bbq and it was tough. And the glaze on it was just okay. Halo Halo - it's pronounced hallow-hallow NOT Hey-low Hey-low. My server tried to correct me and pronounce it that way. I just smiled. They serve theirs in a Sunday Glass and it has most the components you would find in a traditional halo halo. Shaved ice, beans, jelly, flan, ube ice cream & more. It's not your typical American dessert so it's not super sweet but for me - it's something I grew up on and is near and dear to my heart. And listen to have the option to even get halo halo in Charlotte is extremely exciting to me. So I'll definitely be back just for this. Overall, I would definitely return. The other food looks amazing and honestly what we had for the most part was pretty okay. I'm just excited to see Filipino food in the Charlotte scene.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible establishment. One of those "looks nice" but is far from it. "Fresh fish" stored at room temperature caused myself and my family to become sick. When I called and spoke to 3 different managers was told "nothing we can do". Ok cool. Eat at your own risk... just have a surplus of bathrooms and toilet paper to handle the outcome. What a beautiful way to be welcomed to the area. Zero customer appreciation.

Yelp
I was excited to hear that Charlotte finally had a restaurant with Filipino cuisine. You can't really call it a Filipino restaurant as its more of a Japanese restaurant with a few Filipino items on the menu. However, the Sunday is the best time to get the best Filipino experience with their brunch special. We started off with the Pinoy Lumpia and the B1G1 half off sushi. For the entree, I got the brunch special of chicken Adobo and Sotanghon Guisado. The lumpia and chicken were my favorites, delicious and packed with flavor. The sushi was fresh and some of the best in the university area. I was not the biggest fan of the guisado, it seemed to lack something. All I got was the taste of sesame. I was pleased with the Filipino spread we had and look forward to trying other items on their menu.

Yelp
I wasn't super impressed with Bachi. I thought the food was rather tasteless however the portion size was decent for the price. Maybe I'll try again one day. Nice employees . The bathrooms were clean however the one was out of soap.

Yelp
My 1st bite reaction was: FLAVORFUL. I have visited twice and had the chicken meal both times. Chicken meal comes with rice, salad, veggies and noodles. It can pretty much be made into two meals. I'm not too keen on noodles so I did not try them either time, but everything else was great. Staff seems pleasant and service was fast. Pricing seems very reasonable for quality and amount if food. Both times I ordered take-out. I like the clean simplisticity of the decor so I definitely plan to dine in soon, perhaps to try the sushi!

Yelp
We called 40 minutes to closing for takeout and they didn't even answer the phone, not even to let us know they're not taking orders anymore... nothing. Just disrespectful and flat out lazy.
