"A perfect example of friendship, hard work and, above all, an unconditional love for cooking. Here, the three owner-chefs at the helm, Carlos Langreo, Vicente de la Red and Gabriel Zapata, each specialise in a different type of cuisine (traditional Mediterranean, Japanese and Nikkei) but who are receptive to new trends and an inclination towards fusion cooking. The atmosphere here is both welcoming and informal with a vintage decor that includes slender wrought-iron columns. The à la carte, which is geared towards sharing and features dishes such as Pacific scallops with jalapeño aguachile and “pico de gallo” salsa, and the pig’s ear “mollete” sandwich with a spicy Korean salsa, toasted garlic and herb alioli, is complemented by two menus (Short and Long)." - Michelin Inspector

Google
10/10 tasting menu, there was not one dish we did not enjoy!!! Very creative, mostly sashimi but like you’ve never tasted it before! Will come back.

The food was delicious, but the ambiance could be improved. The service was good, and we were very satisfied with our choice of the long tasting menu

It was okay. Nothing extraordinary. Definitely not worth the price. Would not go again.

This is a great fusion concept with amazing food and cocktails. We tried a variety: tuna tartar, salmon Nigri, meatballs (which are shredded on the inside and soooooo good), and shrimp Rossetto, a perfect amount for 2.

Very recommendable place if you are into fusion. After trying several dishes, we couldn’t agree on a favorite since they all had a surprising combo of flavors. Service was very helpful, explaining how the food was prepared and giving guidance on how to taste it, respecting our time having each course and barely no waiting time in-between courses. A restaurant to return to, definitely.

Peruvian-Japanese-Spanish fusion dishes, couldn't make up our mind deciding on the best one! Very smart flavour combinations, really worth our stay. Will return!

I am halfway through my dinner and already in love with this place. Top quality ingredients, great combinations (I envy the chef’s palate), super friendly service, reasonable pricing. Excellent.

Definitely worth it! Bacira has a great cuisine at a very affordable price. You should try the carabineros and the meatballs- delicious! As well as some of their desserts. Perfect for a romantic dinner or just a hang out with friends, the place is small so try to make a reservation beforehand

Yelp
An affordable Michelin-starred restaurant in Madrid! Bacira, like many Spanish restaurants, has a menú del día for weekday lunches, and this one is easily one of my favorite dining experiences. Any menu would usually offer 2-4 options each of beverage (wine), starter, main meal, and dessert. Everything was meticulously presented from start to finish. The homemade ceviche was tart yet subtly sweet. The starter was the only mild disappointment since it was only a crab-and-avocado sushi. My main dish of salmon with pureed potatoes was delightful. The salmon was cooked grilled to medium rare, extremely tender with every bite. I cleaned the plate clean with my bread to soak up every bit of the pureed potato sauce. The dessert was a lemon tart uniquely made with meringue shards on top and dusted with powdered sugar. The restaurant itself is Spanish-Asian fusion with rustic wooden chairs and industrial lighting (see photos). Service was friendly and efficient, and my waitress was patient with me as I placed my order in middle school-level Spanish. I would absolutely return here the next time I'm in Madrid to catch another meal!

Yelp
MUST HAVE THE FRESH TUNA AND ALSO THE RISOTTO!!! Everything we ate here was top notch. The flavors were all unlike anything I've ever ate. The atmosphere was upscale and modern. The waiters were very accommodating. One of the best meals I've had in Madrid.

Yelp
Alert alert, this is a legitimate destination restaurant if you're in Madrid. I honestly can't remember the last meal I had at this price point -- $115 US for a very filling meal and a quality bottle of wine -- that featured such exceptional and creative cooking. Amuse bouche of vichyssoise and shrimp chips is a delight. Tuna tartar showcases wafers of tender purple fish and stunning sauces. Risotto will blow your mind with its explosion of ocean flavors and its gorgeous grilled prawn. The oxtail meatballs will collapse like little soufflés. I could go on, but won't -- Bacira is a stunner, and not to be missed.

Yelp
Walked in here for the menu del dia on a Friday afternoon. We got lucky and got seated at a bar as all other table seats were fully booked(at least 2 weeks in advance). For 14 Euros all the food we got were solid; we especially liked our rosemary ice-cream, almond cake and tarta de queso! Overall nothing was incredible, but they were good. Very friendly service.

Yelp
This restaurant is normally booked so we were delighted when we were able to get an 8:00 table on a Sunday night. Everything was really wonderful. I've had maybe 30 different ceviches in Madrid and this is one of the best I've had. We also had three different types of Nigiris, all delicious, with beautiful presentation. Next, we ordered three oysters, which was a huge mistake because we definitely needed more. It's a traditional oyster but it has a sauce that's very good. Lastly we had the tuna tartar, which was not my favorite personally but was very fresh and unique. I would definitely return and I would also recommend if you are in the city.
