The Best Coffee Shops In Paris - Paris - The Infatuation

"This coffee shop, opened by popular KB Coffee Roasters, continues the tradition of solid coffee, and you can now drink it on-site. For the serious coffee people, they also have workshops so you can learn how to roast the perfect brew. Brunch is served all day, and if you need help narrowing down your order since the menu is extensive, try the pain perdu or breakfast toast with a fried egg, melted cheese, and espelette chiles." - tanisha townsend

The Best Breakfasts in Paris for Non-Pastry People

"This popular coffee shop and breakfast restaurant is known for carefully developed morning dishes — notably egg-and-bacon-topped pancakes and homemade brioche bun breakfast sammies that resulted from months of recipe testing — alongside strong coffee offerings." - Kristy Alpert

I had a cappuccino and scone with salmon and dill. Cappuccino: first sip surprised me with pronounced unique flavor. The flavor hits the back of the hard pallet. This coffee does not have bitterness from being burned. Even after it cooled down, it was tasty. I actually enjoyed the taste of it after cooled down. It's definitely smooth. And the form was perfect. If I had more space in my luggage I would totally want to buy the beans to take home! Scone: simply well done. I think this resembles American Biscuit but texture is well made scone. It was delicious. It's so light and tasty that I can probably eat a dozen! Atmosphere: very chill. Perfect for late lunch. It does not make you feel weird for earing solo. Some people were reading and some were on the laptop. Waiter: Very sweet. His easy going attitude and welcoming smile (can you imagine getting a smile in Paris!) gets gold star from me! ( Who cares about my gold star 😆 ) I highly recommend this coffee shop for delicious light meal and coffee.

I had brunch at this bar on a Saturday with friends. The bartender found promptly table for the 4 of us. The service was very quick and kind. The ambient is not as cozy as other places with less decorative style but rather modern. Dishes are simple but quite flavorful. Prices are affordable.

Google
This coffee shop sells some of the best filter coffee I have ever tried. The pour overs are expensive but very worth it for a special treat and by now I’ve bought more than one bag of coffee to make at home. Highly recommend for any coffee aficionados - you will not be disappointed

Google
I daresay it's the best specialty coffee in Paris. The shop has natural lightning, which immediately cheered me up. They offer books related to the coffee industry and many high-quality products for baristas. The highlight is the wide variety of coffees from several Colombian zones, as shown in my video. For breakfast I had some very well seasoned scrambled eggs and a delicious brew batch of the day. A morning to remember!

Google
This is the best coffee I had in all of Paris. They put so much love and care into their process and you can taste it in the final product. The service is also friendly and warm. I came back several times over my trip.

Google
GREAT coffee!!! Very cool space and friendly service. They don’t do iced flat white but I was able to get iced latte with “a little less milk” to go

Yelp
This is the equivalent of any high quality craft coffee shop in the US. If you need a drip or espresso fix, this is the spot. Fresh beans to go available as well. If you want to grab & go, walk in, and order at the cashier

Yelp
Went to a second coffee shop (30 mins after the first one) on my last day in Paris because there are so many coffee shops that I wanted to try! Back in Black is owned by KB Coffee Roasters and has an industrial aesthetic and the skylight roof was very nice. The menu is very extensive and I would have liked to sit down and try their filter coffee. However, since we were on a time crunch, I decided to order an iced latte to-go. The latte was tasty and I enjoyed it! I also got a bag of coffee beans as a souvenir, which is always something I buy every time I travel internationally.

Yelp
What we thought of as going to be a quick coffee stop turned into breakfast. I am going to dream about the banana bread that I ordered here. It's going to haunt me!! It was that delicious. Very modern decor- the waitress didn't speak English well, but she was so nice and helpful. Did I mention the banana bread??? Get it!!!

Yelp
Well down a road with not too much on it.. is Back in Black... no computers on the weekend! During the week sure - so like a good place to work?? Which leads me to coffee... they use KB roasters, so pretty good and tasty... Then the food. So good. So filling. The bacon was crispy. The food cooked just right. Pickled jalapeños- check. Fresh pepper - check and hot! Bacon- smoked and yum. Egg- could be runnier. Bread - soooooo good. Cheese- check. All together - yum!!! I saw other people with other dishes and I def want to try them too... mmm....

Yelp
The vibes here are great for working. The americano, espresso, and cappuccino were all great! I would recommend this cafe!

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast / brunch! We picked this cafe because of the previous reviews, and it didn't disappoint. My partner and I both had the egg toast with pesto. So delicious! Wait staff was friendly and spoke English, too. Highly recommend.

Yelp
For take away, order with the woman with the iPad. The bakery items are displayed as soon as you walk in. Really limited take-away choices but there was a gluten free option. They had a very bright (probably Ethiopian) coffee for the latte. I was not a fan. It looked more of a place to have a sit-down brunch with eggs and stuff. It was pretty popular.

Yelp
Great spot - we had a nice breakfast (two fried eggs on large fresh toast with pesto) and the filtered coffee of the day was delish. Big casual place with lots of seating and very friendly staff (who can speak english!) awesome find.

Yelp
We were only in Paris for one night and had limited time in the am. The spot was amazing! The peach brioche French toast.... Yes!

Yelp
Really knowledgeable baristas here and if they have an open bag of the roast you're interested in buying, they will pull a shot for you to sample.

Yelp
Good cold brew, chai tea and vegetarian options. Also had brioche that was tasty and scrambled eggs, toast and bacon that was kid approved. Decent portions.

Yelp
What a new gem! Such a sleek, chic, but cozy spot for phenomenal food and great coffee drinks! We are making it a point to come to Paris many times a year from California. We have sensational coffee there but still nothing beats a brew made by Parisian hands! First off the coffee here is absolutely delicious! Such a great way to start the day. The beverages are crafted perfectly. For food we got the gluten free apple quince crumble and the grilled cheese. The quince was dynamite! You would never think it was a gluten free! Perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. I could probably eat this forever! Now for my star of this show, the grilled cheese. Infinite layers of perfectly buttered and toasted bread with the best cocktail of melted cheese oozing out of the sides rendering it difficult to figure out where to even start with such holy divinity! Probably one of the best food items I've ever had in my life lol. The scallions were an amazing touch and I probably will not share next time! And believe me there WILL be a next time. Until then I'll live vicariously through the rest of the reviewers ! There is PLENTY of seating and people just enjoying the food, conversation, or doing some work on their laptop. The Perfect cafe!
