The 38 Best Pittsburgh Restaurants - Eater

"Husband and wife duo Eddie Barnz and Angel Randolph take customers back in time with their nostalgic restaurant. The space is decorated with vintage toys and memorabilia, while the menu takes inspiration from pop culture. Among the hotdogs named for characters, try the Brian Griffin with pepper jack and cheddar cheeses, fried onions, bacon, and Carolina sauce. Or try the Scooby, a dog with cheese and gravy. There are also more than 100 flavors of wings, as well as burgers (some with doughnuts for buns). If you are feeling adventurous, get the Challenge Burger: four patties, eight eggs, eight pieces of bacon, tomato, lettuce, mushrooms, onion, onion rings, and pickles. Finish it within 30 minutes to earn a spot on their wall and $10 off your next meal." - Briana L White

Staff was very friendly. Its nice to go to a place that offers more than just the normal hamburger. Just wish they'd update their menu both in-store and online. Got the Big Poppa, dry cajun wings, loaded fries and the Snoop Dog. Everything tasted great.

The restaurant has a great location and an inviting decor that sings of many Christmas ago because most of the items here remind me of childhood. Great concept restaurant I traveled from McKeesport to finally try Barnz wings and they didn’t disappoint. Very good flavors and fried hard like I enjoy. Only thing I must add is that I had a 45 min wait on my wings 😔. Or I would probably give them a straight five. In today’s climate people want instant gratification but may I add it was indeed worth the wait. Very professional staff and family oriented business. I will patronize again and try some other things on the menu. Curious to what you guys would do with a gold wing.

Do yourself a favor....dont eat all day and then come to Back to the Foodture!!! You could get a meal here everyday for a year and not eat the same thing twice. Tried 3 different sandwiches, 3 different varieties of fries, and 2 different kinds of wings. WOW absolutely amazing, bold flavors, hot and delicious. The owners love their business and you can tell by the way you are treated and the love that goes into the food. I will drive 4 hours to eat here again!!!!

This is such a cool restaurant! The owners were very nice and hospitable, and the food was great! This is definitely not diet food by any means, but man is it good to treat yourself sometimes! The spicy parmesan wings were so good, and my husband loved the nacho wings. Get some loaded fries as well if you stop by, the ranch, bacon, cheese fries are chronic. Great service, cool atmosphere and good food.

Some of the best wings I've ever had. They have so many choices and all of them are pretty much fantastic. Even the fries have so many options! The decor is also so cool and staff are very welcoming. I will 100% be back probably many times.

Hot Dog with Carolina Sauce, Crispy Onions, Jalapeno, Plain Fries. Here's the deal folks, the food is great already, but the customer service makes it taste even better! They let me build my own Ball Park dog. I'm one of those people that believe in mustard on dogs, but their mustard based Carolina Sauce was SO GOOD, I may never go back. Yes they have Malt Vinegar for the fries, who does that anymore? This meal was definitely a treat and so are owners Eddie & Angel.

People were friendly, food was okay. It was super super greasy. I know that sounds like a "duh" with burgers and things, but everything was dripping. Even the burger bun was soaked halfway through with oil because it soaked up a puddle on the griddle. While it made the outside crispy, it also made the bun squish out oil like a sponge. The fries were also floppy and oily, and we didn't taste any of the seasoning we ordered. Overall it wasn't the worst.. Basically like diner food, plus a lot of flavour options and interesting burger toppings like donuts.

Chef Angel is the 🐐. She cooked some of the best burgers we’ve ever had. The flavors of the Big Poppa we’re magical. Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Check our full review on YouTube…@thegrubguys
