Love The Back Door Theater. Just remember to check your tickets to see if you will be seated on the East or West side or in the center. I highly recommend coming to a show. It will not disappoint you.

We enjoyed the opening night of The Cover of Life so much. Such a great cast! Also enjoyed the lobby, which had representations of our heroes of WW 2 and those as well at home. Such a great performance with quick dialog between characters bouncing back and forth so true to life, without the knowing for feeling of rehearsed pause. So good... This review from the author of 'The Reckoning of Rance' and 'Last of the Knowers." I cannot wait to see the next performance given my chance to experience. We just attended The Great American Trailer Park musical and boy let me tell you a fabulous show. Outstanding singing and such harmony. My favorite part was the slow motion scene. You just have to go see it to know what I am talking about. Really great stuff!!!

Have season tickets and they are well worth the cost. Every show has been great and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and outgoing. If you like theater then definitely grab tickets to the Backdoor Theatre.

Love taking my grandson to the shows, it's great entertainment. Update ***Tonight was the dinner theather & the food wasn't very good. The salad was warm, limp & over dressed, the pasta was barely warm, clumpy & needed sauce, the meatballs were salty, hard & overcooked. Same great talents on stage though! Tonight was the Summer Youth Musical, The Lightening Theif. So many great performances!! Another awesome performance tonight!! It's the last one for 2023. We'll be back next year!!

Love, love Backdoor. The seating is just small enough to feel a part of the action, and large enough to get everyone in comfortably. The plays are always well done and showcase out local talent. I had no idea we had so many talented people in our community.

JUST WOW! Your show last night (The Great American Trailer Park Musical) was EPIC! I’ve done lots of community theater in my past and the actors/actresses, musicians, and production crew did a top notch performance! I was REALLY hoping to win the 50/50 raffle because if I did it was going right back to Y’ALL! The ticketing process and seat selection was easy and thorough on the website. I even had a “Welcome First Timer” envelope on my seat with a hand written Thank You card for coming! I felt like I was the star! I’m thankful that you allowed me to have a bottle of water during the performance, and am very much looking forward to seeing the remodeled dinner theater section when complete. Thanks again for such a professional entertainment venue! Can’t wait to attend more shows!

Amazing! The place is hip and sauve. There's not a "bad" seat in the place. Staff, volunteers, and actors were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend seeing a performance here!

Located in the heart of downtown Wichita Falls, the Backdoor Theater buildings houses the talented volunteer actors and actresses that bring comedy and tragedy to their shows on a weekly basis. I must confess that the parking lot is a little congested, but the inside is simply amazing with the new renovations going on to the lights and interior.

We had a fantastic night here. We were in town for one night only and we were able to see Steel Magnolias. What a performance it was we laughed we cried we made new friends. We felt very lucky to have stumbled across this little gem. Go if u get the chance include the meal and take your own wine great night out. Two happy Aussies

A coworker recommended the Backdoor Theater as a nice place to get out and enjoy creative art. It was definitely a great experience. The actors were amazing, the support team was inviting and the atmosphere was up close and personal. I will definitely be going back and taking friends with me.

My wife and I saw "Over the Hill & Through the Woods" here. It was a lot of fun. The acting was good, albeit the Italian accents were a little weak. The only reason I say that is because my in-laws are Italian and have accents. But to the unknowing ear the play sounded fantastic. That being said, you have to hand it to the actresses and actors for how hard they work. The food was very good for what I was expecting. We had Chicken Parmesan, with vegetables & a roll. Additionally, there was coffee, water, and tea available. The wait staff was phenominal. Very polite and were constantly filling drinks. The seating wasn't bad. For eating it was fine, a standard arrangement; however, for watching the play it was not ideal. We were three deep at our table so the people seated closest to the stage had to move back from the table so we could see. But the room is not overly large so it's not like you're straining to see the stage. I am not really into theater, but we'll be back. I enjoyed myself. They have a couple more plays coming up that I am interested in.
