Despite the current times, it was a very pleasant visit. They currently don’t take booking, they have a walk-in system where you put your name down and after a short wait they seat you inside. Once inside you can opt to be put on a waitlist to sit outside. The setting is really nice and rustic and the tables are well distanced. There was a nice evening crowd and a good energy in the ambience. The food was very good, I commend their kitchen. The risotto was prepared freshly and the salmon well sourced - not to mention a generous portion too. The prices are reasonable also. The views over Istanbul are lovely. When times are better there is an outdoor bar where people can be stood.

The place is amazing, you will love the atmosphere. It’s cosy and the garden is lovely. The staff is very friendly as well. The food is good, but not wow ! In addition to that the Kenyan is quite limited in terms of choice… but still, a must do place for breakfast or brunch.

The place is lovely, nice garden and placement for the restaurant. Cool atmosphere. Food was just ok, I tried Salmon tartar that was very bad (rice on the base that was almost uncooked and the salmon and avocado tasteless. As second dishes grill sea bass almost burned and the risotto with asparagus that was nice. I guess I will go for drinks but not for meals.

Scam.They made us to pay 1500 tl (50$)per person if you are in group more than 10.What is worse ,the place doesn't even have any view,just a kind of small garden and food was just ordinary. The waiter was horrible, besides he doesn't speak English, he was completely arrogant and not flexible!Really horrible experience for extorted 50 bucks!

Such a lovely place in Istanbul 😻 Reading some negative comments and getting frustrated like what? Service was amazing, food is so so tasty! They serve it as an art. Waiters - all of them are super nice, know their menu so well. We were suggested urla wurla wine and it was amazing. Food quality is super high. For example We ordered cheese with fig , everything was fresh even the strawberries on the plate. Menu is various. View is just breathtaking!!!! Also, we were walk in guests and still were treated nicely. Ambience is just wow. Little cute thing is that there’re many kittens and they are all so cute !!

AWESOME BREAKFAST :) ... We stayed near backyard and to be honest I was not sure about visiting the place as it looks quite posh. However today we decided to give it a try and it was the right decision: Eggs with Ground Beef: fantastic dish. Comes with yoghurt on side. Could have been a little bit spicy but still a great dish. Menemen: Fatastic as well. The green pepper gave the whole dish a special kick but could have been a little more. Spinach & egg tartine + Avocado & egg tartine: I liked the spinach version much better as this was something new and the combo was great. Avocado were delicious as well. Backyard pancake: AWESOME. You definitely need to try this variety. Great combo :) Service and food quality was awesome. Price is a bit high but considering to be in bebek I guess that was still reasonable.

Very nice restaurant with great view , went for breakfast, the restaurant DOES NOT take reservations the ambience really great service great as well. Food was great pics tell everything different from other restaurants breakfast tray nice but no jams

First... the red wine was served warn, around 25-27 celcius... had to cool in ice bucket for 10 minutes we could drink...Not acceptable !!! all the rest was very good, very nice atmosphere , very good service (friendly, polite but neither fast nor knowledgable...) Loved the somon tartar...And seafood linguini... Cats all around the place...lovely...

Definitely recommend anyone who's looking for a nice dinner in a fresh air. Enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and of course the main dish; duck, and killed it with a hot chocolate cake and ice cream.

It was around 2:30 pm we have visited to have a cappuccino and a Turkish coffee along with crepe. Crepe was delicious however both cappuccino and Turkish coffee is cold. It was not a busy time so I was not expecting such a thing. No apologies for the delayed service and cold coffee. Ambiance is ok but service need improvement.

Backyard is the Turkish equivalent of a rich country club diner. The food is on the safe side but genuinely good, the prices are high, the service good, the decor tasteful and the unique ambiance allows you sit and relax be it with kids or date or friends. It's the sort of place you can spend a couple of hours, be it lying down on the grass with a Cabernet Sauvignon in your hand, or releasing the kids for them to go be kids while you chat and have gorgeous time with your friends for hours on end. Of course the prerequisite to this experience is the backyard of backyard being open, ergo good weather. Being country club-esque, the people you'll find here reflects that, the upper class with perfectly coiffed hair and genetics. It's a pretty place filled with pretty people. It's not a unique culinary experience, but it's a safe bet to have brunch, lunch or dinner.

Went for Sunday breakfast which is a true Turkish tradition. They had all the classics like sucuk and eggs and a variety breakfast with olives and cheese and cured salami. Cool location, good breakfast. Might be awesome in the summer.
