Everything was soo good!! NAMIT GID. Big portions for the rice meals too. Dining there felt very intimate and was like I was back home. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Sadly we don’t have Filipino food like this in Tennessee. I wish I lived nearby, I’d eat there everyday if I could! Will be sure to make this restaurant part of every LA trip from now on. Updated review: I know this review is so biased because I’m from the same hometown where the authentic Bacolod chicken inasal hails from, and so is the owner of this phenomenal food joint. And coming from someone who grew up eating this and hasn’t been home. Flying 3,000 miles is a place to go for those memories of authenticity, and it is worth it. This time, I had the pancit canton, longsilog, and salpicao. The pancit canton has so much flavor with crisp veggies. Longsilog is comfort food that takes me back to 25 years ago with perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, sweet and savory sausage, atchara ( pickled green papaya), and the beef salpicao is addictive paired with garlic rice. Trust me, you’ll keep coming back for it; it’s indulgent that when you start, you can’t stop. Laing was added recently and it’s extraordinary, just be prepared to eat extra rice. They are consistent when it comes to flavor, and the service, attention, and hospitality is typical of a Filipino household. Coming here is like eating at Lola’s (grandma’s) house. IYKYK. Haters are going to hate, but this is legit ilonggo food, and our tastebuds don’t mess around because we know how certain dishes should taste like. 5 stars as always! Visiting from the east coast, we have very limited, authentic food such as Bacolod chicken inasal. As a native of Bacolod, this restaurant is as authentic as it can get. Traditional inasal is marinated in vinegar and spices without the use of soy sauce. Yes, it can be a bit bland, but that’s why you have to make a dip using soy sauce, sinamak ( spiced coconut vinegar) and Calamansi and chili and pair it with garlic rice, then it’s heaven on earth. Of note, chicken breast will always be drier, so opt for the dark meat instead. Grilled bangus and inihaw pork belly is just as good. Now, the pork bbq skewers, are authentically made… the same taste that I grew up eating back home and it was unbelievably juicy, thinly sliced pork that i couldn’t get enough of, reminiscent of high-school and college days cheap eats… LCC, Riverside days? IYKYK. This place is legit especially if you’re from Bacolod City… and if you miss a piece of home, come here, eat here and enjoy the typical Bacolodnon hospitality.. and thank me later! I’d move here from Connecticut just for the food itself! 5 stars all the way!!

Outstanding Filipino Dining Experience! Bacolod Chick’n Inasal truly delivers an authentic taste of Bacolod City right in Los Angeles. Their famous Chicken Inasal is absolutely exceptional—perfectly grilled, incredibly juicy, and bursting with flavor that’s spot-on with the original recipe you’d find in Manokan Country. Every bite brought back the unmistakable smoky, savory goodness that makes this dish so iconic. We also ordered the Batchoy, and it did not disappoint at all. The noodle soup was rich, comforting, and equally delicious—clearly made with care and authentic flavors in mind. Service was another highlight of our visit. Nathan, a young and very friendly Filipino staff member, took great care of us. Our food was served promptly, without a long wait, and the overall dining experience was smooth and pleasant. Since I moved to the U.S. three years ago, it has been my mission to find the best-tasting chicken inasal in LA. It took me three years, but I finally found the spot! As a true-blue Bacolodnon, I have to say this is, by far, the most authentic chicken inasal you can get in LA. Since discovering it, I’ve been ordering once a week. My coworkers got hooked, and even my American family loves it. Their pork BBQ is also delicious—the meat is tender and flavorful!

This place cooks the best traditional pinoyfoods, bangus, chkn nasal, bulalo, etc. I felt like eating in my orig. home. My only regret - did not bring my own stainless spoon & fork, wink, wink.

Bbq Chicken is bland without the soy sauce, vinegar, calamansi. It does not taste barbeque, it tastes more like air fry. Chicken is suppose to be juicy, not dry. The batchoy was satisfactory, needs more flavor. Overall it was ok. Will I spend 100$ for 5 again here? nope.

First time here for lunch and ordered the pork belly. Really enjoyed it, I'm new to the flavors. The staff was friendly and inviting.

We are visiting Winnetka from Alberta Canada, and decided to try this place after seeing the colorful logo from the street. The dishes were amazing, especially the Bangus and the order of Pecho was grilled to perfection. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and ensured we had everything we need. Highly recommend if you are looking for some authentic Filipino cuisine.

Heck yea!! This place is great! Friendly staff, fresh food (not salty) and piping hot! The fried fish (bangus) was the best I've had. The eggplant omelette and beef soup were also delicious! The halo halo was awesome! There are so many more things to try. Can't wait to go back.

Food was ok. I liked the taste of their Laing, but I thought it needed to be a little soupy, it was kinda dry, maybe because it was already cooked and just heated up. The lumpia taste like lumpia, and the chicken? Well it taste like it was also heated up in the grill. The price of the bill? A little pricey (came out to $60.00 for 2 plates, lumpia, and Laing, with 2 drinks) I must say, nothing to make me want to come back. We were just in the area and I was craving Filipino food. Oh and be careful if you're using credit or debit, they charge 4%, in our case, it was charged twice and they gave us back $3. I don't think they do a great job explaining that you'll be charged extra for using a card. People were eating when we arrived. It was simple, nothing extra, and cleanish. No frills dining for $62.00, dining for 2. Also, when we were there, the father from the other family was there walked out mad because they bought dessert or something else and was charged that 4% again. He was totally upset about all the up charges.

Came back again for a sudden strong craving for their grilled chicken It was sooo good!! Still deserve a 7-stars review! Their grilled chicken is addicting, though!! Try at your own risk!! As non Filipino guest, I asked about other items in their menus. He tried to give the best service and answered my questions to the best of his knowledge. Kudos, Nathan! I asked for 1 calamansi citrus, they gave me 2!! They aren't stingy! For those who had never eat grilled chicken with calamansi citrus squeezed on the chicken, TRY IT!! You won't regret it! This citrus beats lime and lemon.. all day! I told one of the ladies, my nick name on Yelp! She was like; you are Mango? Then she said, I'm going to tell Ate (older sister in Tagalog. Asians; Philippines, Chinese etc normally call other older female as sister). Then the owner stood by the kitchen door and thanked me for my first/older review Funny and so sweet of them! They make the customers feel like a part of their family, welcomed and appreciated! At least, I felt that way!

Stopped by here after Malibu beach camping and the food was very good. We met the owners and they were very nice and attentive. We bought food to eat there and take home an would stop by again if we were in the area.

I called in to order the Bangus Steak, Longsilog, and Chicken Breast Combo, and everything was fantastic! The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and had that comforting homemade quality that makes you feel like you're eating a home-cooked meal. The place itself is neat and cozy, with just a few tables and chairs--perfect for a casual dine-in if you're in the area. They also have a great selection of Filipino dishes, so there's definitely something for everyone to enjoy. A big plus to their service--Frank and Jane are so friendly and accommodating, which makes the whole experience even better. Was really excited to try this place. Once it popped up, we had to try it. Ordered the chicken, of course, was a bit dry. Had the BBQ pork, which was good. Also had the tapa and eggs; tapa was a bit salty but it was good. Hopefully they add more items.

Early Sunday looking for a good brunch spot that serves sabaw (soup) after church and stumbled upon this place while searching on Yelp. We ordered bulalo, bachoy, chicken inasal leg quarter and pork bbq. WOW! The inasal was juicy and best inasal I've ever had. Their bulalo is good, didn't need any additional salt or patis at all. Bachoy was topped with Chauncey chicaron, and the noodles were cooked just right. And the pork bbq was also perfectly seasoned. The owners are sooooo nice and friendly and gives that homey feeling. We will definitely be back! Didn't get to take a photo of the rest of our order, was already drooling lol

Excellent food and service, my wife and I ate the Bangus Steak, Garlic Rice and Tortang Talong. We enjoyed all of it and will come back often.

Amazing ! Ten stars if I could. We were craving authentic chicken Inasal and found this cute little restaurant on yelp:) we got the batchoy soup and Thursday special which is a chicken thigh w rice :) everything was bursting w FLAVOR. The soup was so fresh & hot; great portion I saved some for lunch the next day ! They brought out the food exceptionally quick & with a smile :) u can taste the love in every bite. Everything I have tried here has been nothing short of spectacular! The pecho pak combination #1 and the pork bbq skewers are my main favorite! Its such a big plus its within walking distance from where we live. Also, the owner is so nice and the service I received from here is always good. Did I say they cook the food fresh!! Even hubby approves it!! He loves the pecho pak too!

Was craving some Filipino food and found this place randomly. Small spot but the food was fresh and cooked to order. We loved the chicken inasal.

I finally gave this place a try today. I waited some months to avoid the long lines from when they first opened last year. I tried speaking Tagalog to the young lady running their register, but had to quickly switch to English when she couldn't understand me. She was friendly and courteous though, and quickly took my order of one Paa Combo (chicken leg quarter) one pork BBQ skewer, and a soda. My total came to $19.50 + $1.85 tax and $0.78 credit card service charge. You order and pay at the register, then have a seat. The place looked clean and inviting. They provide plastic gloves for customers that want to eat chicken with their hands. My food took about ten minutes to prepare and deliver to my table. The chicken was accompanied by small containers of chicken oil, atchara (pickled green papaya), and with a hot pepper and lemon slice. I made my sauce the way I see most people do it... I cut up the pepper with my utensils, put it in the container, added a squeeze of lemon, then some vinegar and soy sauce from the condiment tray on the table. Then I drizzled the chicken oil over the rice, and finally I tucked into my meal. The chicken had nice crispy skin and was not dried out. It had a good taste, but to me, it's not complete without a little sauce for it. The atchara was delicious, and was a good accompaniment for the rice and chicken. Pork BBQ was likewise very tasty, without any big chunks of pork fat like you would see at some other places. It's difficult for me to give a rating for the food here. I just returned from the Philippines a few weeks ago, where I tried Mang Inasal and JT's Manukan for the first time, and I can't help but compare this place to those two. Chicken in the U.S. seems to have more meat, but the chicken in the Philippines seems to be more flavorful. That being said, I prefer Mang Inasal or JT's over the chicken here. Mang Inasal was 8.4/10 for me, while JT's was 8.8/10. So I would probably have to give the food here a score of 7.8/10.

Food was good,and tasty. Order the pork skewers, nicely marinated and oh so tasty, nice and tender with a tinge of giggly fat. The chicken inasal was good but there was some taste missing. I grew up in Bacolod so I know what a good inasal is. This is a walk up counter service but the order taker is smiling a lot and very helpful. Forgot his real name but as an Ilonggo he is called "Totò". My daughter had the lumpia Shanghai and she said it's the best one she's had from restaurants in the LA area. Of course she would know. She was raised with an Ilonggo palate where my mom made the lumpia for us! Things just a simple, cafeteria style restaurant, nothing fancy with a few tables and chairs. Reminds me of the little eateries back home. There were a lot of takeouts which is probably what I would do next time. The whole bangus looked good. A must try if you're from Bacolod or a Filipino.

This place is easy to miss as it is unassuming in a small strip mall, but everything I've tried were really tasty, albeit on the saltier side. You will just need to eat a lot of rice to counter that. The chicken inasal is not like the ones in the Philippines, and not the kind Bacolod is known for, nonetheless, it is not bad. The bangus was flavorful with calamansi-soy marinade and not overcooked. The pork BBQ is tender and flavorful, though if you order take out, be aware that the soy sauce can leak out of the aluminum foil. I would eat here again.

I always enjoy this place as the food is delicious and will you satisfied. Their pork BBQ Per Stick which is Grilled pork BBQ skewers, marinated in a sweet and savory sauce is mouth watering satisfying. The Bangus Steak Grilled milkfish topped with caramelized onions, served with a side of pickled vegetables is also a dish that will make your tastebuds dance. They have a variety of other options but these are my top two. Service is great as the staff will answer and help you with any of your questions. Parking is in their lot.

As a filipino I'm always looking for good filipino resturant that can cook like my mom and my grandma. I seek the assistance of yelp that can guide me. I found that place. Look thru pics and other reviews. So I called on a fellow yelper to adventure with me. The parking situation was not that great. But I'm not here to complain about the parking I came here to eat good filipino food. As I walked inside there are paintings and history of the Restaurant. The cashier/greeter welcome us as we were family. We look over the menu and there were plenty of offerings. I was going back and forth to Insal Chicken or the Tapsilog. U know what I ordered both lol. The chicken insal had good flavor. You can tell it was done right. The tapsilog had great flavors as well. Well marinated, the meat was not over or under cooked. It came with garlic fried rice and of course the over easy egg. We were both happy at the end of the meal. Definitely a must go back.

Driving along Sherman Way in the Valley i saw this restaurant. I have to make a stop and see if they come close to the Bacolod Chicken BBQ. I went in and ordered the famous Chicken Inasal BBQ from Bacolod City Philippines. I was blown away how authentic the flavor of the chicken. It was freshly made juicy tender and flavorful just like how they did it in Bacolod City. The chicken portion is big and it is filling compared to other chicken chains which give you tiny portion. Paired with Garlic Rice and Chicken Oil sauce its a winner winner chicken dinner!!!! The owner since it was close to closing time gave me free Chicken and Garlic Rice which im gonna enjoy to go. Thank You and i will be back to try their Bacolod Delicacies like the Siopao Batchoy Pork BBQ Lumpia Pansit Breakfast Pastries and many more.

Lami!!! Masarap!!! The food reminds you of inasal back in the Philippine Islands here's what makes it authentic: the chicken is cooked with that nice, smokey flavor with a hint of Annatto, paired with garlic rice, atsara, chicken oil, calamansi, toyo, and sili. Great portion size! The owner was even gracious enough to give me some extra oil for my rice. It was nicely decorated with some photos of Bacolod. The people were attentive and friendly, plus you can talk to them in Tagalog, too! I will definitely be back!

We have been seeing the restaurant's sign for months and finally it opened. I went with my parents and my couple best friend to try and see if we can recommend the place. There's not much Filipino restaurants in the valley and having an Inasal place is a good addition. The place is small yet cozy, interior was clean and the staff were friendly. It took some time for our food to come out but it did not disappoint. We ordered Chicken Inasal and Batchoy. I had 1 Pecho to go for the hubz. Overall, I'd recommend the place. The average Inasal order is $15-17 but it's a decent serving for the price. Will definitely come back.

This was my first time eat Bacolod style Inasal. Definitely leans more on the savory side l. The chicken itself wasn't tender enough for my liking but wasn't dry either. For the price point, it was a good meal. I'll be coming back and try the other dishes.

Great taste and a great way to teleport yourself to the beloved city of smiles Bacolod, my wife's hometown. At least in a culinary sense. The portions are satisfying and taste is as authentic as I've experienced outside of Negros. Owners are friendly and very hospitable. We will back for sure. Honorable mention to the pork BBQ skewers. I never had them so lean and tasty before. Saraaaaappp.

Visiting LA from Alberta Canada and decided to stop in and have some lunch at Bacolod chick n Inasal. From the authentic Filipino places we have visited, we must say that the taste and quality of the dishes served in this establishment were amazing! The Bangus was so tasty with the spices and cooked to a light crisp, and the chicken Pecho was grilled perfectly, with an amazing marinade. My son enjoyed the pork skewers and the batchoy . We ended up taking an additional order of the Pecho to go and will be coming back before we leave. Well done for the authenticity!

I tried this new place last night and I was surprised with how sumptuous and authentically very Bacolod their food were. I tried their Batchoy and on top of having more meat than noodles, the soup was perfect! My colleagues had their chicken inasal and barbecue. They were not disappointed! The service is fast and friendly. I met the owner- Frank and he was very welcoming. Which matched the clean and nicely appointed restaurant. I didn't think they were 3 months old. I will surely be back to try the other fares in their menu. But overall. This place is a 5-star for me!

Be patient, the place has a simple menu but well executed so there are a lot of people ordering at the restaurant and over the phone. Decently priced for the amount of food served. The place itself is a bit tight, something to consider when dining with the family or groups. All in all it satisfied the craving for inasal. Will be going back for sure.

This newly opened Filipino restaurant which specialized in grilled chicken from Bacolod city Philippines which is less than a mile where I live. I myself who is born and raise from the same place is for sure qualified to judge their food and taste. They have straight forward Filipino mainly Bacolod dishes on the menu from Chicken, Pork, fish, that's been grilled and soup styles. We ordered the chicken Inasal and the Batchoy which is a local noodle soup which is like a wonton soup base but sweeter with egg noodles. I can say that it feels like home. They just opened, so there are some waiting time as customers keep on coming non stop. Chicken is cooked right and juicy, texture is perfect and taste is balance, an added chicken oil is perfect to pour on your rice making it authentic. My son is picky on food and he liked and finished his plate. Their noodle soup tastes great too with a lot of meat toppings. Ambience is nice with a modern twist and some memorabilia from the home town. Must try if you are in the valley as this is the closest food like home. They might be sold out early so make sure you come early as they close at 8pm at the moment.

Food is subpar (chicken is bland), parking is a challenge, they charge extra $ for condiments (chicken oil). But take note that your chicken order will not have skin on it. I haven't written a review in years but compelled to help boost their business so people would be aware of this hidden gem in middle of Winnetka. Ordered bangus and chicken last Sunday night- husband and I devoured with much gusto! The best Filipino food in the valley imo. Fish is top notch quality and justifies the price. So good that we tried going back 2 days later for dinner but found out they are closed. Husband still talking about the bangus. Service was great too!

Everything we ordered was Chef's Kiss! Delicious food, great service and clean place. Ordered quite a bit but they all came out hot and ready to be devoured in 30mins! Will definitely be back!

I had been buying their pork asado siopao but it seems the filling keeps on getting lesser as times goes by. They maintain the quality of siopao liked before so that their regular customers will Keep on coming back. Actually, its good.

Their Batchoy is really tasty & good. Not scrimping on ingredients. I ate there by accident with my cousins the first time. We went to DMV & saw the resto. Inasal as I haven't even tried in the phils for some reason. It was also good altho' I don't have none to compare with. It is a homey kitchen run by a couple who was very nice. Don't expect to have lots of servers. But can't complain!
