I recently attended The Beauty Boost Summer Social event at Bacovino in Pioneer Square and had such a great experience! The space was beautiful—modern, cozy, and perfect for mingling. I loved that there were a variety of indoor areas, which made it feel open and flexible. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. You could tell they really cared about creating a great experience for everyone there. It was one of the best wine venues I’ve been to in Seattle, and I would absolutely attend more events here in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful first time at Bacovino on a Sunday afternoon! First, the wines were great with a wide array of choices. Second, the staff and owner were phenomenal, we stayed much longer due to their friendliness and knowledge. Third, we loved that even though it was in a warehouse district the inside was tastefully elegant without a hint you were in a warehouse. This is a must comeback place, an easy after work meet up with friends and have a few glasses while you listen to live music kind of place. The owner is doing amazing things within a few years of opening offering live music, cheese making classes, painting classes and food trucks. I was quite impressed with his forward thinking!

I came here for a Yelp elite event! This winery was easy to get to. I went in on an evening and was greeted by Janie, she was amazing. She was helpful and friendly and as I was alone, she talked to me for a while and kept me company while I was doing wine tasting. The wine tasting had generous portions and I did have a great experience here. I am not a huge wine fan but would come back here with some company. Highly recommend this place.

Love this cute little wine tasting room right here in Tukwila! Stopped by on a Friday evening for a wine tasting and we had a wonderful time! We tried their Chardonnay, Rose, Sauvignon Blanc & Merlot and really loved their wine! All their wines not just had an amazing taste but an even better smooth after taste! They get all their grapes from eastern washington and then age it in house right here! Service was amazing! Randy stopped by to explain about their wines and flavors and it was on point! Neat place and has a very good vibe too! Will certainly back with friends and family! Good to hear they also host wine & paint events here which will be fun with a larger group! I cant wait to see them sell their wine to many more restaurants in and around Seattle! Cheers 🍷

We've been wanting to check this place out for months. Finally stopped in, on a Saturday. We sat at the counter. There were 3 of us, we each did a tasting. The pours were very generous and Randy was very knowledgeable and a such pleasure to talk to. We really enjoyed the Cellars flight, all 4 pours were delicious, so hard to pick our favorite. We ended up purchasing a bottle of the Barbera, to enjoy with a nice steak. The environment was beautiful and inviting. Randy informed us that they plan on having live music during week days in the next month or so. This is a great addition to the neighborhood and we can't wait to go back.

I tried Bacovino on a Sunday afternoon with my wife and two small dogs. They are dog friendly and brought a water bowl out for them. The staff was very friendly and fast, and the owner was there to serve us wines and tell us about the business. At the same time we were there, there was a flower arrangement class going on that looked really fun. We did flights of their reds, my favorite being the Vitners Sangiovese. We had a bottle and enjoyed the sun and chatting with the friendly staff. They also have a good wine club that we will probably join next year. 12 reds four times a year for $440 or less each shipment. For how good the reds were I think this would work well for us. Lastly, I like this place because it technically made me leave West Seattle but still felt close to home and had ample parking. Definitely a hidden gem we will come back to!

Google
This is only a review of one varietal, not on the winery, customer service or any other aspect of the company or it's operations. Being in the industry, I had the opportunity to taste the Counoise last night at a wine function and found it to be overly sweet, murky in color and lacking in clarification. Normally, I love this particular grape varietal and have enjoyed good examples of it in the past, most particularly Cairdeas and Michael Florentino Cellars. I do hope this winery keeps working to improve their winemaking process and get it right in producing an exceptional Counoise. I'll be rooting for you.

Yelp
I was staying in Portland and was looking to taste some local wine, this place did not disappoint! It's located in an industrial complex toward the back. Even though it's not on a beautiful vineyard, the place was nicely decorated and welcoming! The service was beyond excellent. All of the staff was friendly and chatty. Even people who worked in the wine processing room came out to chat with patrons! The wine flight was so good! I enjoyed every wine. I loved that the flight fee is waved if you purchase a bottle too. The cheese plate was a mix of cheese, fruits, and crackers. These pairs perfectly with the wines! A great experience!

Yelp
Came back again with another group of friends! Love the little hidden gem that's kinda hidden in the industrial/business offices, plenty of parking and quiet! Popped by on a Wednesday afternoon for a few glasses of vino. I've tried both their signature red and mix flight over the past months, loved it everytime. My friend got the red flight and I went for their mix flight. But I noticed they have raised their price from $10 (Mix flight) and $15 (Red flight) by $5 to $15 and $20 respectively now. Also, a little -0.5 star because for some reasons, all our drinks have sediments/cork particles in our red wines (see picture). It's not in a particular red wine, but pretty much all glasses of red wine...... that kinda ruined the experience a little when the cork crumbles get in your mouth. The service is pretty great on this slow day since we were the only table here. They brought us water and refilled it for us timely as well without having us to flag them down for it. All in all, still was a pleasant experience with a little bummer with the cork crumbles in our wines.

Yelp
If you are looking for a very quiet/spacious/chill winery place, this is it!! Plenty of parking and very spacious inside. There are enough natural lights through the window-- it was a perfect day to chill inside with AC while it's very hot outside! They got great wine selections and staffs were very polite and friendly. Small food selections but that's probably better than having too many random stuff on the menu to distract why you are truly here at the winery today I definitely recommend this place to friends/family!

Rebecca J.

Yelp
Great environment! Host was amazing at sharing details how wine was made and where it's from. The knowledge depth regarding wine was amazing! The wine flight was delicious! Owner sat and chatted with us a bit. Shared more information about his wine and the local art. Fun atmosphere!

Yelp
I got to try Bacovino for a chocolate and wine pairing for a Yelp event, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was top notch. I cannot stress how friendly and attentive everyone was. They really engaged with everyone. It was clear that they were passionate about the business and wanted everyone to come away with some knowledge and great experience. The wine tasting and chocolate pairing was fun. The wines were great. I enjoyed the Viognier enough to take a bottle home with me. I highly recommend coming here for a fun and welcoming wine tasting experience!

Yelp
Bacovino is a hidden winery located in the industrial area in between South Park and Rainier-- just south of the Museum of Flight. I got introduced to this hidden gem through a Yelp Elite Event and ended up buying 2 bottles of their Sauvignon Blanc. It is SO delicious and I can't wait to drink it chilled as Seattle starts to warm up. I have tried about 5 of their wines so far and all have been amazing. I can't wait to come in again to try a flight during one of their live music nights. Lastly, their service is top notch! It's kind of a perk that they aren't so busy because sometimes, you're able to have 1:1's with the employees. Each time I have come in, I am served my Mataya and she is incredible. Super sweet, knows what she is talking about and helps a bunch with trying to find a wine that you'd like. They are so extremely dog friendly! My dog came in with me, had free reign in there because no one else was in there, and Mataya brought out a water bowl and gave my dog Al the attention she insisted on receiving. (lol). Can't wait to drink your Rose all summer long! Thanks, Bacovino!

Yelp
Found another gem in the hood! Located in Seatac area behind the truck warehouse area. Visited friday early afternoon and it wan't too busy! They are dog-friendly!! Very cute and clean tasting room. Service was phenomenal. Red wines were very good. I'm a viognier and red bold wine lover. Our favorites were Sangiovese and GSM. Plenty of parking! It gave me a woodinville warehouse vibe. It would be a perfect place to hold an event! (They do have live music thursdays. And wine and paint or wine making nights on occasion!)

Jjay S.

Yelp
When I first heard of Bacovino, I expected a quiet little room located in Woodinville where all the other wineries are! However, I didn't expect to find this hidden gem so close to home! Located in south Seattle near Rainier, Bacovino is located in what seems to be like an office park - finding it may be a bit tricky but there were luckily many signs pointing to where the tasting room was! Not being the biggest wine person, I came here for a Yelp Elite Event with my mother, and we both came out being huge fans! Through the event, were got to try a full pour of their Sauvignon Blanc, as well as a few other samples of wine - the Chardonnay, Rose, and Merlot. My personal favorite was the sauv blanc, it was both smooth and refreshing! Honestly one of the greatest highlights was Randy! Randy was kind, helpful, and surprisingly had a lot in common with my mother and I! His service was top notch, and I can't wait to come back in the future!

Yelp
We came here for a wine tasting Yelp Elite event and I loved how intimate the setting was. I don't particularly care for places that are overly crowded and noisyI loved how friendly and knowledgeable the winemaker was. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never heard of pairing chocolate with wine so I was pleasantly surprised. Who knew that chocolate paired well with wine? They started us off with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc which was so good that we ended up buying a bottle. Then we got to try a bunch of red wines which we paired with delicious chocolates from Bon Chocolats. My favorite chocolate was the raspberry one and my favorite red wine was the Signature Sangiovese. They also have paint & sip, charcuterie and wine making events, so I can't wait to come back. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
A great place to hang out with friends and meet new ones! Wonderful wine, great service and a fun atmosphere.

Yelp
I was introduced to BacoVino Winery via a Yelp Elite event. We were offered a glass of their Sauvignon Blanc and then four reds paired with artisan chocolates provided by Bon Chocolates in Seattle. There was no time pressure what so ever, so we had time to enjoy the first glass of wine before the fun of the pairings began. It is always cool to hear a winemakers story. The staff and owner (Randy Brooks) were friendly and knowledgeable. You are surrounded by some cool local art, which seems to fit with the BacoVino idea of supporting local artists and artisans: they offer classes such as Cheese Making and Charcuterie Workshops, and partner with other small businesses. As for the wine, I really enjoyed the reds. The Counoise (a wine I had not tried before today) was reminiscent of a lighter port (and great with the cardamom infused chocolate by Bon Chocolates) and the Sangiovese (one of my favorite varietals) was exceptional. We will be back!

Yelp
What a great hidden wine bar. Because we came from over an hour away, it was a little challenging because we weren't familiar with the area. So watch the street signs and look for their light colored sandwich board. Great wine tasting options & by the glass pricing is very reasonable. There's something here for every pallet. The winemaker and staff take time to chat with everyone and are very helpful with suggestions. They don't let your glass sit empty & are on top of each pour. A new glass for each variety was an added bonus. They have live music alternating Wednesday/Thursday. When we were there, the room got pretty packed around 6.30pm and the regulars were a hoot to chat with. If I lived closer I'd be back soon. Since I fly often, I might be able to find an opportunity to pop in. Thank you all at Bacovino, we felt welcomed & enjoyed our visit.

Yelp
What a charming and nice little hidden spot south of downtown Seattle! I had no idea a place like this existed so close to home but was welcomed to a wine and chocolate event hosted by Randy. The samples may have been free but we walked out with 6 bottles of wine and a box of chocolates all to enjoy later. Randy is so knowledgeable about pairings and even gave additional insight as to which other bottles would go with which foods. Our favorite was the Sangiovese but every wine was great. The pairings with the homemade chocolate was wonderful and the two really did compliment one another with each taste. The service was amazing and we were told they host paint/sip nights, cheese and charcuterie making classes, live music nights, as well as conduct tours of their cellar room. I can't wait to be back!

Yelp
We visited Wednesday night for wine tasting. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcoming staff, friendly & prompt service, energetic atmosphere and live music. We sampled the Signature Chardonnay, Signature Rosé and the Signature Merlot. I found the Rosé to be delightful and picked up a bottle to enjoy at home. The Merlot was paired with a beautifully decorated chocolate, which enhanced the rich full flavor of the merlot. All really great selections. What stood out here was how much the owner and staff loved what they do. You could tell in how they talked about the wines, their venue and in every interaction.

Kim G.

Yelp
Wow what a GREAT fine. Super friendly staff and amazing wine tasting. Randy the winemaker gave us a barrel tasting upon request and educated us on winemaking. Please support this wine label.

Yelp
I came to Bacovino for a Yelp Event and had a great wine and chocolate pairing! The Rivalon wine was my favorite, I found it to be the most easy drinking since it was fruity but not too tart. The chocolates were from Bon chocolates and those were great too! I especially enjoyed the raspberry chocolate. The service was also great. Randy, the wine maker, as well as the other girl who was there were super friendly and knowledgeable. As for ambiance, it was very clean and modern in the tasting room. I enjoyed the little touches like the wine bottle wall and the cork wall for the bar.

Cianna B.

Yelp
A great community gathering spots with a calendar full of fun events! I loved their sauvignon blanc and they have so many different options to fit everyone's palettes. The service was warm and friendly, making it really feel like a great neighborhood find. We learned all sorts of events that they host here, including cheese making events! We'll definitely be returning!

Yelp
My friend and I had a really delightful time at Bacovino. We especially liked the Merlot and Chardonnay and enjoyed a nice cheese plate. Hospitality was great and there was good live music as well! Great vibes for an after work happy hour or a drink with a friend. Thank you for having us! We would love to come again.

Yelp
My wife and I had a great experience at Bacovino. The experience was enhanced by Randy and team, as they were so welcoming and provided detailed insight into the wines. As amateur wine drinkers, this was much appreciated. They seem to treat everyone like family. The ambiance was enhanced by live music and artwork from local artists.

Lucinda Y.

Yelp
This place has some genuinely good wine! My favorite wine here was the signature Merlot . The staff are incredibly friendly and Randy and Mataya were so knowledgeable. This is kid friendly and dog friendly with a chic and tucked away atmosphere. It is a great place to come and decompress! My husband says it is some of the best wine he has ever had. Also they great wine club choices and reasonable prices.

Tyler M.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to join one of the Yelp Elite events hosted at Bacovino as a +1 and honestly the experience was so great that I am writing my very first Yelp review now. The host that greeted us was welcoming, the atmosphere was simple and clean yet sophisticated, the creators of both the wine and chocolate came out to introduce themselves and tell us about their stories, and of course the tastings themselves were excellent! I highly recommend Bacovino for wine lovers, but you would be doing yourself a disservice to not try the amazing pairings by Bon Chocolats (also available online and occasionally in pop up locations!).

Laura Y.

Yelp
Love this little neighborhood place! Lovely wine and they are so friendly! I'm so glad we found it!

Breanne T.

Yelp
I've been here twice now with coworkers and it's a cute little space with really good wine. I can't vouch for their reds, but their whites are good and I love the rose. We get such great service when visiting too. They have a lot of events - looking forward to coming back for those. Plenty of free parking, which is great too.

Richard L.

Yelp
Randy and Lindsey are great host, lovely conversationist and have a plethora of wine knowledge. Bacovino tasting room looks amazing as well, the inside aesthetic and overall atmosphere is wonderful. Overall I am a fan of all the wines available, I would recommend the Pinot Gris personally but all of them taste great. The merlot is to die for if you're into reds.

Christine B.

Yelp
Fabulous wine and a first class wine tasting experience. The staff was so friendly, very knowledgeable and gave us such an amazing time.

Whitney F.

Yelp
Great atmosphere in the tasting room and even better wine! I couldn't pick a favorite but I will say the merlot is unique and delicious. The hospitality and knowledge of wine are top-notch. Highly recommend!
