We had one of the most unforgettable meals of our trip at Bacuzzi—and honestly, the pizza alone is worth the visit (or three).
We tried the Salami, Margherita, and Diavola pizzas, and all three were absolutely phenomenal—like, best-pizza-we’ve-ever-had level. The crust is perfectly blistered and chewy with just the right crunch, the sauce is bright and balanced, and the Fior di Latte mozzarella is fresh and velvety. The Salami pizza was a standout: simple, classic, but executed so well it made us pause after the first bite. The Margherita was beautifully light and aromatic, and the Diavola brought the heat with spicy Italian sausage, olives, green chili, and a sprinkle of oregano that tied it all together.
But the real secret weapon? Their chili oil, pepper flakes, and especially that garlic sauce. That garlic sauce deserves its own spotlight—so creamy, rich, and full of flavor we were shamelessly dipping our crusts and wishing we had more. It elevated everything.
We also ordered the Bruschetta Calabra, and wow—this was a surprise hit. Two thick slices of toasted bread slathered with ’Nduja, a spicy Calabrian pork sausage, then topped with shaved Parmigiano and a drizzle of EVOO. We didn’t know exactly what to expect, but it ended up being one of the most craveable bites of the night—deeply savory, a little spicy, and totally addictive.
For dessert, we had the apple crumble, which was nice and comforting—warm, lightly spiced, and served with a touch of sweetness—but truthfully, it couldn’t compete with the pizza and bruschetta, which completely stole the show.
My son ordered a watermelon lemonade, and when they realized they were out of watermelon, the staff went out of their way to get some so he could still enjoy his drink. That kind of thoughtfulness really stood out. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind—just good energy all around.
We left full, happy, and already talking about when we could come back. If you're anywhere near Hiriketiya, don’t miss this spot. Bacuzzi isn’t just great for the area—it’s genuinely one of the best meals we’ve had, period.
