Where to Eat at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) | Eater Carolinas

"A Charlotte-born burger bar known for an over-the-top bacon cheeseburger stacked with multiple types of bacon and a signature 'Baconaisse.' The menu also includes popular sides and sandwiches like fried pickles and a Buffalo chicken sandwich." - Erin Perkins

Next time we are in CLT airport, we will not be going back to Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. We had the western hamburger and the magic mushroom hamburger. The food was alright. The portions were fairly large. Their mixed drinks cost about the same amount as their hamburgers ($18-$22). Drinks are not priced on the menu.

Decent meal for airport food. Wait to get in was a little long but food came quickly. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich with tater tots - the tater tots were very good and got some sauces to dip them in that were great. Sandwich had good flavor, chicken was a little dry, but otherwise good. My server Megan was very friendly and attentive- great service even though they were obviously busy. Thanks!

Had a layover in Charlotte and Really wanted a good burger and the website menu looked nice so I went to the To Go counter… After 5 minutes of standing there I decided to scan their QR code and place my order. I ordered the “Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids”no sides or anything else. Fairly simple you would think, but 2 minutes later I was given a regular cheeseburger. So No bacon and the burger was cold. It probably would’ve been a good hamburger if some effort was put into cooking it and if it was fresh. I usually don’t bring food back because I don’t know what’s done to it once it’s returned, but for $21 I returned it and they gave me back the same cold burger with bacon added to it. I just will not return again.

While I waited at my table for my food I witnessed a few “I’m sorry. This isn’t what I ordered” and it happened to me too. Place was busy as it would always be but it appears the kitchen is experiencing some miscommunication or management. And then it happened to me. East enough fix and they did return the burger with the right cheese and fresh fries but that sad little lettuce on the mushroom burger. Head through with the new burger in it. Honestly it was better cooked. And here’s a thing. If it’s mushrooms leave it at that. To say there are chanterelles and other exotic fungi when it’s clearly just cooked white mushrooms is pretty deceptive. I forget did they claim that they make their own patties cuz if they did then there ain’t no way. Standard restaurant issue meat product from a distributor. At least they managed to get my burger somewhat close to med rare. Service was fine so nothing really to mention. That’s why it got a higher rating than the other categories. Food should actually be a 2 but I don’t expect food to be great at the airport and you can expect the same here. It basically fills the void.

Google
Food: first, they need to offer a bad momma’s burger that is half the size of the normal burgers 🤪 my burger was too big to possibly eat. I also ordered it medium rare and it was more on the rare size. The hash browns were tasty and came with a special sauce. There were a few reviews I read that said they got tiny portions…. I think they are just rivals because the portions are anything but small Service: initial seating service was not very friendly but my food service was efficient and friendly albeit dropping the ball on bringing me my drink Atmosphere: about the same as every other airport restaurant

We were starving and burgers sounded delicious! It took 5 minutes for someone to show us a table and when they did they informed us that they were out of, sweet potato fries, pickles, tomatoes, salad, grilled chicken, all white wine, milkshakes and sweet tea. We ordered burger sliders and they were uncooked and barely had any sauce on them! Our waitress was super friendly and told us that she had been working since 7am and it was around 8:30pm and she hasn't had a break yet! That is 100% illegal!

Google
First, this place has potential. Mostly because the service is great! But the food needs a little help. The burger was dry and nothing to write home about and the salad was sad. They call the salads “Giant” but they look like a side salad at any other restaurant. I added some photos as proof.

Had the best burger and chocolate shake. And let’s not forget those amazing truffle fries. Ashley was a great server and very attentive during my visit.

Yelp
We had about an hour to grab a bite to eat before flying out of CLT and this spot was near our gate. I tried to order on the QR code at our table, but it wouldn't let me. (We were able to cash out using that QR code, though.) Luckily our food came out quickly and we had enough time. They do have a takeout window as well. This place obviously specializes in burgers, but I was craving some chicken tenders. Nate got the mushroom burger with tots. The chicken tenders came with fries, ranch, and their house sauce which tasted like a tangier Cane's sauce. The chicken tenders were just okay, maybe that's my fault for not ordering a burger at a burger place. The chicken itself was juicy and tender, but the tenders were incredibly greasy like their fryer wasn't hot enough. The fries were also not great - just didn't seem very fresh or fried enough. Luckily the ranch was the good ranch and I was able to take some of the greasy breading off the chicken. I had a few bites of Nate's burger, which was actually quite good. The mushrooms were tasty and the burger was juicy and cooked nicely. The tots were also a victim of the greasy fryer, just not the best. I wouldn't necessarily come back here, but it did the trick in a pinch.

Yelp
The mushroom burger is amazing!! Get it!! Our server was phenomenal esp considering it was holiday.

Yelp
The burger, fries and their sauce was pretty good. But the thing I can't get over is the staff would allow people to stand at the "Please Wait To Seated"; personally waiting as the staff just catatonically ignoring us. Finally another patron who was already seated told me he told to sit anywhere. This was the epitome of just laziness, selfish and unprofessional. I say this even though the server who finally took my order was a very pleasant and nice appearing person, still continually participated in the same thing the entire time I was here. Management of some type needs to much more vigilant and at least seem to care and train staff on at basic customer service acts. Maybe they don't care and will continue to rely on airport foot traffic to patronize their establishment...‍

Yelp
Thursday lunchtime. Busy place. Ordered Texan chicken salad and Patty Melt. Our waitress was quick and efficient. Definitely a burger joint. TV with games on. Near gate C9.
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
Quick stop en route to my gate, I ordered a vanilla milkshake, but they were out of all milkshakes. So I opted for the sweet potato fries. Menu said they came with blue cheese crumbled, but all I got was plain sweet potato fries and the dipping sauce. Very overpriced for what it was. Service was fast. Fries were good, but not what I expected.

Yelp
I stopped by here while leaving Charlotte for a work trip. Bad Daddy's is a good choice in the city so I figured it would be good in the airport. I was getting breakfast so I was a little worried. BUT, the food was actually pretty good. I got french toast and bacon. It did the trick and I was happy with my choice. Friendly service and didn't take long at all. I took my order to go and ate at my gate but they provided all the tools and utensils I needed. Great airport bite for sure.
google avatar

Arija D.

Yelp
Stopped in at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar during a layover in Charlotte and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the All-American Burger meal, came out fresh, hot, and delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Great spot for a bite between flights!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for very early breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast burger. Nice charred burger, jalapeno bacon was delicious! And breakfast potatoes were perfect. Service was a 10!

Yelp
Tried to go here for a burger and some wings earlier to watch the world series and to our shock when we walked up, the place was mostly empty and not a single TV was showing the game. It took forever for a waitress to notice us and when asked they replied "we don't control the TVs". They also had an issue with their vents so it was pretty smoky inside. Pretty Pathetic for a sports bar. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else in the airport. Wouldn't recommend.
google avatar

Courtney C.

Yelp
First off, you're at an airport so you have to have airport expectations- but honestly this place is a great airport option- everything seemed very fresh and homemade- kids loved the tater tots. It was evident that they make their own sauces which is great- i also appreciated the paper containers instead of plastic and that includes the sauce on the side containers which is great. I would definitely recommend this place! i mean it's pricy but like i said its airport food so what do you expect?? the staff were very kind and helpful. It looks like it has a nice ambiance too- definitely seems like the best option if in terminal c!
google avatar

Teresa A.

Yelp
Look I get airport food is quite expensive yet how come my chicken Cesar salad is super sad in comparison to other chicken ceasar salads posted? Absolutely not. For $17 you can ger 10 small pieces of chicken. Yayyy.... *insert sarcasm* The wait time wasn't too bad as I had time between flights. 20 minutes but I would have to say no. Do not recommend. I got mine to go but I guess if you sit down you will get a bigger more fuller portion? Also how come there wasn't a lid on the dressing? What if I had packed it in my bag and it got all tossed around. The dressing would've gotten everywhere if I wasn't going to eat it right away.

Yelp
Subpar experience at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. Service was friendly enough, but mostly non-existent, perhaps because they were short-staffed. I ordered my burger without cheese and sauce, but it came with both. I wasn't really able to find a server to let them know, so I proceeded to just eat it as is. The fries were barely edible, and ketchup was also no where to be found. Definitely a bit disappointed by this place, which I chose because it had some of the best reviews on Yelp (for places inside the airport). Hard to say what the other restaurant options are like, but I'd assume you could do at least a little better than Bad Daddy's.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Best meal ever in an airport! And we travel 3-5 times a year. The burgers were cooked perfectly, juicy, big and delicious came with tater tot's also awesome, crispy and so many I probably should have left some but I didn't! Very friendly service! We stop in Charlotte airport a lot and will definitely return to Bad Daddy's!!!
google avatar

Sabra R.

Yelp
Had 2 1/2 hrs before flight and were starving! Got a table immediately, placed our orders and received our drink in 5 minutes! Our order took about 30 minutes but the burgers came out hot and juicy with great toppings. I had the magic mushroom and my husband the bacon burger that had more than 6 pieces of bacon! A ton of tater tots surrounded our burgers that were fresh and crispy. We even got a refill on our sodas. Probably one of the best airport meals I've had!
google avatar

Kannyn M.

Yelp
Though a chain built on Burgers would know how to make a Patty Melt. Patty Melt 101 is grilled bread. WTF? Mine was Not even toasted. No brown grilled tasty flavor what so ever. Basically a burger patty put between two pieces of bread. For $18, hey Ryan Zink (CEO) you need to train the cooks the basics. Waitress service was excellent. Hopefully my 1 star review along with many others will get Ryan's attention.
google avatar

Yelp
They offer to-go alcoholic beverages here! This review is about that. You can't take your plastic cup of alcohol onto your plane, but you can take it out of the restaurant and into the airport. That's nice, because although Bad Daddy's Burger Bar has a decent amount of seating, it was full when I visited, so I just got my IPA and bounced. I didn't get any food, just beer. As far as what I can tell, they offer one local beer on tap (Wicked Weed). But they also offer Stella Artois, Bud Light and Blue Moon on tap. The service at the bar was very fast and friendly. If you want to take your drink to go, make sure to tell the bartender in advance, before they start pouring! I did not, and it wasn't a big deal, but then they dirtied a glass for nothing.
google avatar

Yelp
I was on a layover recently and tried Bad Daddy's via their takeout option. It was pretty busy in the actual restaurant and it took quite a while for anyone to notice me standing in the to-go window even though I tried to flag down a server. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was so good and definitely worth the wait. It was crispy and juicy and the fries were flavored well. I would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
The staff here are so busy and work hard to help all the visitors. The food comes out quickly and it was nice to have options for vegetarian and vegan food. My burger was tasty albeit a bit dry but that's not unusual since it's easy to overcook impossible burgers. The bar was packed and the drinks were flowing. It's a typical sports bar so if you wanna see a game this is a good spot.
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
Got the sliders. They were excellent but I could only eat two of the three. Bar was super crowded. Portion size of the regular burgers I saw was ridiculously large. Drinks were crazily prices at $15 for a single Tito's and club.

Yelp
Very likely the best restaurant I have found in an airport. A little treasure in the Charlotte airport. I have breakfast. Excellent. It was a traditional American breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast and a pile of fresh cut fried potatoes. It came out quickly and fresh. The price was very reasonable. Too bad I don't travel through the Charlotte airport more frequently.

Yelp
It's tough to leave a consistent review when my two experiences were so drastically different. The first time I stopped in--on 7/29--I had a fantastic visit. The bartender working that afternoon was an absolute rockstar. Their customer service was exceptional, and honestly, they should be the one training the rest of the staff. Because of that great experience, I decided to stop in again after landing back in CLT. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete disappointment. I went to the to-go area since I needed to head to baggage claim, and was completely ignored. Several staff members walked past me multiple times without acknowledging me at all. Eventually, I placed my order using the barcode system, only to watch my food sit at the counter for over 15 minutes while the staff picked up everything except my order. Even the people behind me in line were visibly confused. If you're unhappy in your role, it might be time to consider a different path. Poor attitudes don't just damage the business's reputation--they also create unnecessary frustration for customers. Yelp
Even with low airport expectations, it still fell short. First issue was the wait for a table. I get that restaurants can be busy, but it took the staff so long to clear tables and they took like 10 min to acknowledge us, once we were at front of line. No dedicated host or bus staff, so just servers playing all the roles. Drinks came in open styrofoam cups (table next to us had lids), which resulted in a water spill from my daughter. Our fault, but it's just not a sturdy cup on a high top table. I wanted a Wicked Weed IPA, but they were out. We ordered sandwiches with different side items, so we could try them all - tots, fries, sweet potato fries. IMO, tots were hands down winner. Sweet potato fries were soggy and unsalted. My husband's chicken sandwich was overcooked and it looked like they haven't changed the oil recently. My patty melt was meh; usually the bread is cooked longer with a little butter on flat top. This was fairly soft rye bread, instead of a nicely toasted crunch. Server was nice, particularly in helping clean up our spill. There are several TVs, so you can kill a little time here. They also have a walk-up window. I think this may have contributed, though, to the overall slowness, as the same staff handled this too.

Yelp
WHAT DID I JUST WITNESS?!?! Want a bartender with attitude? Maybe dinner and a show? Then you've come to the right place! LOL I've never witnessed a bartender chastise a group of patrons (for the whole restaurant to hear) for being seated in her section without her consent. We're talking "YOU CAN'T SIT THERE", "THIS IS MY SECTION". When she started yelling at the hostess across the restaurant for seating those patrons in her section, everyone at the bar was noticeably uncomfortable. It was a bit disturbing to witness. Who in their right mind would treat patrons this way? Much less their co-workers? Beware of brunette with glasses behind the bar. She has no problem peppering patrons with attitude or raising her voice while others are trying to enjoy a meal. LOL We get it, my dear! You don't want to be here... but guess what? We do (or did - please keep reading). Seriously though, can management check on the bartender? This type of outburst was unsettling and it's evident by previous Yelp reviews (previous 6 months) that you've ignored her behavior or just downright support her mistreatment of your patrons. We live in Charlotte and enjoy grabbing a burger from Bad Daddy's before a flight, but I can guarantee we won't be back. It's clear you have no loyalty to your customers, Bad Daddy's.
google avatar

Michelle D.

Yelp
The wait time to prepare went by fast. I read quickly that they wanted people to use the QR code and there was no cashier to take your order. As I wanted a woman was upset bc she only had cash and left her phone back at the terminal. She asked for a supervisor and was told rudely they were unavailable. Thick bun. The burger was just okay. Prob the best deal with fries $14 the airport had to offer. Sweet potato fries were just okay. It was just okay.
google avatar

Mellissa D.

Yelp
We ate here while waiting on a flight out of Charlotte. The visit didn't start off too good! We walked up to the hostess station and literally waited almost 10 mins to even be noticed! Deja is the hostess/waitress that came to our rescue! Thank God it was her and not someone else. Her attitude & hospitality (even after working all day!) is actually what changed my attitude about the entire restaurant! She was an amazing waitress and was ALL OVER THE KITCHEN STAFF for preparing food out of order (newer orders before older ones.) She never missed a beat waiting tables and working the 'to go' window! The restaurant WAS a bit busy but was also understaffed. Lots of empty dirty tables & trash on the floor in a few spots. It looked to be 2... possibly 3 people in the kitchen. Regardless of how many people were there.... They were all talking over each other and readily using foul language loud enough for patrons to clearly hear. The food was great, tho! The burgers came separate from the toppings -- kinda like a build your own type thing! Most of the condiments on the table were either near empty or completely empty... took me 3 bottles of mustard before I had enough to put in one hamburger and they were outta fries all together. ‍ --- but it was 9pm! The positives definitely outweighed the negatives & Deja saved this review from a horrible rating!

Yelp
Located in Terminal C in Charlotte, the place is busy. Line at the entrance. As a single, I was able to sit at the bar right away. But even with that, it was very disappointing. The burger was luke warm and the fries were cold and soggy. On top of that....they robbed me for $12 for a can of Guinness. Shame on me. Next time I'll know.
google avatar

Jay A.

Yelp
I shouldn't qualify this, but for an airport burger restaurant, we really enjoyed it. Lively crowd, full bar and friendly server. We recommend the Western burger with sweet potato fries and the Texican Chicken Salad. Both were pretty good and a total surprise for airport food.
google avatar

Sondra M.

Yelp
Fries cold. Asked for medium rare got medium well. Burger not seasoned Will not be back

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Decided to get an espresso martini while I waited during my lay over. The menu didn't have the price on it (or any drink), but I just thought it'd be the normal $12 for a mixed drink... I was so wrong. It was $20.99 for one espresso martini. I asked the bartender if this was correct and they said liquor drinks per ounce start at $18! FYI they have a 2oz limit per mixed drink. Admittedly, I should've known better than blindly ordering a drink... but still!
google avatar

Tamica J.

Yelp
Food was phenomenal, BUT DO NOT HERE. Due to a lack of personnel you will wait in a looonng line to get in, then sit to be waited on, and sit some more for your food. If you're in no rush, take the time to go. Otherwise just save your frustration and try a different location. When I asked for a manager to get my money back b/c they took so long, I was told there was none on the premise and they didn't do refunds. I won't be back. They then closed carry out and ordering online b/c they didn't have staff.
google avatar

Tova B.

Yelp
got my food to go . sadly they don't do lettuce wraps or gluten free buns so i got it bunless. i think because of that it came without ketchup and mustard which i wanted anyways? but i didn't realize until it was too late and then i was too lazy to walk. the fries lacked any seasoning or salt. not good at all and very limp. too expensive. not good. came out quick but not great overall (makes sense for airport food i guess)
google avatar

Shelby L.

Yelp
Right off the start I ordered a Long Island ice tea and got what was a sickly sweet lemonade. It was not made to the specifications on their menu and no way was I going to pay a price for a drink at the airport that wasn't what I ordered. The waiter was obviously stressed and I don't feel he handled the drink situation correctly, but he ended up bringing me a diet coke and took the LI Iced Tea off my bill. When my food came, it came out quickly BUT it was stone cold. After the drink experience I wasn't going to bother complaining about the food. I ate what I could (wasn't much) and left. I still tipped the waiter a proper amount, but I feel everything from the food to customer service here was severely lacking on this visit. Probably would find a different place to enjoy a meal next time I was in CLT airport.

Yelp
We thought it might be good to eat before our direct flight out west and saw this place close to our gate. So glad we decided to eat I got the Burger and Fries. Amazingly good food and service! Our server while busy seemed to handle every request with ease. The overall layout was good but tight seating! Highly recommend but pricey to be sure.

Ben W.

Yelp
I sit down at the bar, no sweet potatoes fries, no chicken tenders. I order a beer. I ask if they have anything local, and they say yes, and suggest a beer from Asheville (not local). Dust allover the glasses hanging up. Speed well freezer door left open. I ordered mozzarella medallions, i got mozz sticks. Tomato jam tasted like canned tomatoes. I ordered a bacon cheese burger, they asked if medium was fine, I said yeah, it came well done. Thin patty. Fries were unseasoned. Oh and at this point all chicken is sold out and they only have burgers and fries. This was terrible.
google avatar

Yelp
Super fast service, expansive menu, happy patrons and staff, super experience. We shared a fresh and crispy caesar salad and she had a beer. It was exceptional. Basic but good, we will return next opportunity.
google avatar

Yelp
This was a wonderful burger!!!! I had a layover in Charlotte before going home and I wanted a burger and a beer and Bad Daddy's did not disappoint. Sooooo delicious! I had a mushroom Swiss burger with some tater tots.
google avatar

Shaun S.

Yelp
the fried chicken sandwish was really good. was completely satisfied with my choice to not get a burger. ate it too fast to take a photo. the seating is pretty tight for how busy it was but its in an airport so...

Steve S.

Yelp
Returned from an international trip having not had a meal in hours. This place seemed like it would fill the need for a quick comfort food meal. The menu prices appeared high, but it's in an airport and, for the price, the burgers must be gourmet. Not at all, the burger was served way undercooked and lukewarm. The sweet potato fries were soggy and cold. McDonald's would have been much better. I was shocked when I received the bill, over $80 for two less-than-mediocre burgers, a beer and a margarita! And they charged extra for a slice of cheese! Absolutely ridiculous! Find somewhere else to eat when at Charlotte airport. Otherwise, you will be disappointed and poorer.

Clint B.

Yelp
Shame shame shame - this location in the airport has a to go window . I stood there for 5 minutes with no one saying anything to me, but many waiters and host passed. Finally I stopped someone and they said no to go orders today. Fine - lame - whatever - what was most lame was I went to go get different food and when I passed the to go window they were taking orders! Maybe I'm not a big enough daddy to here - lame

Yelp
First time at this airport and Shake Shack was packed! So I Googled the airport directory while waiting, and found there are some Charlotte original options! With my flight delayed hours, I explored. Walked the terminals and found Bad Daddy's is packed too! But not as bad, and immediately knew I made a good decision. This spot has service and a bar area. Several canned/bottled/draft beer options, wine selection, and a cocktail menu. As for food, the choices are traditional burgers, salads, wings, fries, and even a breakfast menu. So because this place at the time I arrived, seemed to be peak hours, it took nearly half an hour to take my drink order. Another twenty minutes for my food to arrive, but then after a couple bites of fries, realizing that it was the wrong order! No worries though. I dug in for the short amount of time left and was given the proper order in a take out box. All in all, not a bad place if you have the time to spare.

Yelp
Had a meal at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar this past Sunday afternoon while traveling for bereavement. The food was decent--nothing remarkable, but nothing to complain about. However, the customer service from one team member really missed the mark. A Caucasian female employee with glasses was noticeably rude--speaking to me in a dismissive tone, avoiding eye contact, and generally acting as if helping guests was a burden. I get that people have off days, but treating customers like an inconvenience is unacceptable in a service role. You can do better. To make matters worse, I placed my order through the restaurant's app and, upon pickup, noticed the bottled water I paid for was missing. When I politely asked a different nearby server about it, the previous employee with glasses jumped into the conversation with a cold, repeated "We ran out of water bottles"--twice--with no apology, no alternative, and no offer of a refund. Just attitude. Thankfully, the employee I initially addressed--a professional and kind African American female--stepped in, acknowledged the issue, and got the manager involved. Both of them handled the situation with professionalism and empathy, which I genuinely appreciated. Overall, this visit could have been much better. Good food means little when the service leaves a bad taste.

Yelp
Okay, this was the best experience for such a long day of travelling. My husband and I flew in from LAX and were in desperate need of food, our flight had another notice of delay so we had enough time to get some food. After roaming around the airport we decided on Bad Daddy's Burger Bar, I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich with a side of sweet potatoes while Bryan ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids. The food came out so quickly and it was so good, my buffalo chicken sandwich really hit the spot, good seasoning and cooked really nicely and those sweet potato fries were so crispy and sweet and the chipotle ranch was the perfect dipping sauce. Bryan's burger was huge, so much bacon and his fries were nice and crispy. I wish they had a location in San Diego because I want that sandwich and those sweet potato fries! Also, this is probably the best place to eat from cost wise, because Burger King was selling their sandwiches for $15 which is the same for these sandwiches!

Yelp
The most incredibly disrespectful bunch I have ever dealt with. I was genuinely looking forward to eating here. After seeing no signs about seating I waited at the hostess stand for 20minutes. Numerous employees passed by and refused to make eye contact. The others waiting behind me assumed we seat ourselves. Five minutes after I had been sitting there a waitress asked if the hostess sat me, I replied no, she then says you need to wait in line. The line had significantly gotten longer, and I went to explain to her that I had already waited and was never helped. She decided to turn around and walk away without letting me speak so I said "Excuse me?", she continued to walk away. Will absolutely not give them my business!

Yelp
Overall: A great sandwich/burger spot that can use some fine tuning to iron out the service issues. The good: I was craving a buffalo chicken sandwich, so I opted for that instead of a burger at a self-proclaimed burger bar. Luckily I wasn't disappointed, as the sandwich had great flavor in both the buffalo and ranch sauces as well as the blue cheese. Good portion sizes for both the sandwich and the sides, so I left full for my flight. The not-so-good: Took too long of a time for me to get seated. I was the only one waiting for a rather empty restaurant, and it must've been 4-5 minutes before someone acknowledged me. Then it took a little too long for me to get an order in. Music is a little too loud. Food/drink: 8/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Service: 7/10

Yelp
We have been to the Bad Daddy's in Charlotte and it is pretty good. I think they must hand grind their ground beef. However, the one at CLT offered us the worst burger we have had in years. Previously frozen, incredibly dry, and completely flavorless. I read one review that stated that their burger was big and juicy. Ours was dry and flat. All with fries for $17.50. My partner's burger was equally as bad. I looked at the burgers on the table next to us and theirs looked equally non-appetizing. I don't know if Bad Daddy's is still owned by a well-known Charlotte restauranteur, but if so he obviously has not eaten at BD CLT. I can't comment on any of the other dishes but I advise you to stay away with anything that says "burger."

Yelp
This place is busy and being an airport, the menu is modified a bit. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was either overcooked or had unclean oil, it came out dry and darkened. My fries were good and so was the tater tots I added on. Consider the high prices (it's an airport), long wait times, modified menu and inconsistent food before selecting to spend your airport dining experience here. The one very bright spot I don't want to forget to mention was my service was absolutely amazing.

Yelp
Quick service and good enough fresh salad for an airport. Dressing was super spicy and chicken was real so I'll be back for that. While service was fast, not overly friendly and they pack you in like sardines. Maybe get it to go next time?

Yelp
I really found this burger bar a disappointment. Although the server was polite, the burger was not hot and juicy... it was barely warm and completely dry. The fries that came with it were about an inch long and cold. I must have received the bottom of the batch since others around me had long sized fries. There was no time to reorder to be on time for my flight. The bar itself was inviting, with a view of the airplanes. I think Burger King would have been a better choice!!

Yelp
We had pre scouted dinner on a connector flight and fortunately Bad Daddy's was just a minute from our gate. It was nice to get a sit down local owned dinner experience in an airport. It's not an easy feat post COVID world. The servers were working hard to accommodate that heavy flow of people in and out. The burgers were definitely great and the feature here along with some crafted drinks. A little something for the adult crowd.
