Bad Egg Review - City - London - The Infatuation

"If you’re having a bad day then you need to head to the Bad Egg. This all-day diner has everything you need when you need to eat and drink your problems away. Their burgers are perfectly formed, and not of the sloppy variety, unless you get an egg involved. The buffalo wings are decent enough, and the milkshakes are exactly what you need on any kind of day." - Jake Missing

My friend and I had the pleasure of dining at Bad Egg today (soon to be renamed Bold Bites), and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked through the door, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. It was our first time visiting, and when the owner, Dave, found out, he surprised us with complimentary appetizers, an unexpected and delicious treat that truly set the tone for the rest of our visit. His kindness and hospitality were easily one of the standout moments of our meal. But the real star was the food. I ordered the Bold and Beautiful Beef Rice Bowl, while my friend went with the Cluck ‘N’ Good Egg Drop, and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. Each bite was packed with flavor, and we left completely satisfied and already excited to return. 10/10 experience. Highly recommended!

First time visiting BAD EGG/BOLD BITES, couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Was greeted warmly by the staff, placed my order for the Cluck'N'Good Egg sandwich, based on their recommendation. Sat down while it was prepared, only to be greeted by the owner Dave whom welcomed me and brought out complimentary coffee and an appetizer (Hash Brown chips?). He continued to check on me couple times and offer refills during my visit. The food was so delicious, I ended up ordering my 2nd choice option to go, just to try it later.... Pork Bao Buns (Also delicious with just the right amount of heat). Thank you, will be coming back soon.

I absolutely love their food and customer service! My partner and I are regular delivery orderers of their bao & açai bowls and they are to die for! They never disappoint because they are just full of so much flavour!! The one time they made a mistake with our order (which was a rare occurrence), the restaurant went above and beyond to make things right. I recommend their delicious food to anyone!!

What an incredible breakfast spot! From the moment we walked in, the warm and friendly atmosphere made you feel right at home. The hospitality and service were truly top-notch — everyone was so kind and attentive, it really made the experience stand out. Now, the food… absolutely AMAZING! The Bold Classic sandwich was to die for — the bread was unbelievably soft and fluffy, the egg was cooked to perfection, and the sauce added just the right amount of kick. Every bite was delicious! I also tried the Açaí bowl, and it was just as impressive. The portion was perfect, packed with fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and a generous swirl of peanut butter that tied everything together perfectly. This place has easily become one of my new favorite breakfast spots in Toronto and will become a staple for future visits. Delicious food, cozy vibe, and the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again!

Kashish is fantastic as always. I’ve been back a few times (mostly for her fantastic customer service, outgoing a personality, and incredible vibe) and the food is fantastic. Genuinely really good food, super fresh and so delicious. Best food spot in the area, without a doubt. Such a wonderful addition to the neighbourhood, I hope Bad Egg (and Kashish and her incredible colleagues) are here forever! Also don’t miss out on their samples, sometimes they offer some great snacks! These are their fried pickles - so good and I don’t even like pickles.

This was my third time eating here, so you know I’m being for real when I say that this is one of THE most underrated places in the city. The Bao buns they have are so soft and the protein in between is so flavourful and spicy yet still enjoyable (they have a variety of other flavours and less spicy dishes don’t worry). The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere itself is very welcoming and clean.

The hospitality we received the moment we walked in the door was unreal. We're visiting for a few days, and will definitely be returning! Friendly service, great food, and the gentleman there today went above and beyond. Extensive menu options and food was ready quickly. Would highly recommend!!

Yelp
This restaurant serves Korean-inspired meals, with a focus on breakfast. Their Bad Egg sauce is spicy; it is spicy Chipotle sauce.  They also have kimchi bowls and tacos. We ordered the following: 1. Bad Egg Classic ($6.99) without the Bad Egg sauce. 2. Posh Mess French Toast ($9.49). 3. The Classic Bad Bun ($3.99). 4. Fries ($2.99). The French Toast was tasty and nice with the pistachio. It is milk bread dipped in a rich egg and milk batter, chocolate sauce, condensed milk, and pistachio. The Bad Egg Claasic comes with egg, cheese, Bad Egg sauce, and parsley, between two toasted bread slices. I didn't try this. The Classic Bad Bun comes with sunnyside up egg, cheese, Bad Egg sauce, and parsley, in a bun. The Fries were crispy and not greasy. There are four tables for 2 and one table for 6. There is loud  pop music playing in the background. This restaurant opened on 2024-06-14. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, but it is not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2024-179

Yelp
Husband and I went for lunch today after a long bike ride this morning and we're not in the mood to cook so knowing this place been opened for a little while and I've studied their menu, we decided to give it a try. It's an interesting layout as once you stepped inside, a juicy stand is right in front of you and Bad Egg is slightly on the right with seatings available but it's more like a fast food joint. We were greeted by the friendly staff and were asked if we need any assistance on the menu. We browsed a little and decided what we were going to have. I've tried the fried chicken burger and hubby had the Korean Chicken Ramen. It took about 10-15 minutes but boy oh boy, we were certainly pleased with the food. My friend chicken was a piece of crispy fried white meat with plenty of onions, shredded lettuce, slice of cheese, and very yummy sauce, which is a little bit spicy. All were "sandwiched" between a soft brioche bun. Hubby's Korean Chicken Ramen was quite something. He liked it and said it had a REAL kick with kimchi and 2 halved hard boiled egg. Honestly you would doubt who's in the kitchen cooking because of the background of the staffs, you wouldn't imagine the Korean food would be THAT good. We live close by so I'll have today I'm pleased we find a good go to place for a quick bite!
