The problem:
I ordered at the bar and the barista came to me with the order of another customer. I claimed it as my own without noticing it wasn't mine and agreed with the other customer to switch orders.
Before leaving, I was asked to pay for both orders and so I did, while only receiving the order that was not mine.
The product(s) and the price:
• Roughly 50 lei spent and the coffee was too acidic to finish. Maybe it's not a bad coffee, just not my liking.
• I asked for a bottle of service water, as a refill for the full glass of water provided. I was given a sealed bottle of water, and obviously I got charged for it.
I didn't bother pointing out that I want a refill, I was fine with paying for the sealed bottle.
It was no big deal, but not what I wanted.
The outcome:
I payed the asked amount.
No arguing, no objections,
... no good impression either.
No tip, out of obvious reasons.
The end note:
Charging the customer for a mistaken order IS a Bad Habit, but I was expecting the name to be a reference for something else.
