Bad Hombre Tacos

Stopped by after work after grocery shopping at Ralph’s. Got a Birria Burrito, a side of Consome and bottled coke. $19 was a very fair price. Friendly and the food and salsa were great. Would love to see an extra spicy salsa in the future!

Ordered a simple street al pastor taco. It's perfect, one of the best. Yellow corn Tortilla holds together, crispy al pastor bits with plenty of color from the achiote. Avocado crema balances it all. My new favorite L.A taco.

Overpriced and terrible customer service. I've been a few times and every time they acted like they were doing me a favor taking my order. On top of that, the food is unreasonably overpriced. There are a number of taco trucks nearby that sell similar food for about half the price. I don't eat here anymore.

Stopped here for a quick meal, had a carne asada burrito and an horchata. The asada shall I say was asada? what? did not expect this from a truck, maybe it was not asada, but part of the flavor and texture are there, maybe fresh? Don't know but it was on point. Horchata not so much. Will be back to try some more meats when in the area.

I ordered Burrito, and I have it old dried left over small pieces carne asada, and so salty Im living LA for 36 years and this is worst Burrito ever

I stopped at this food truck for some tacos. Easy spot to get to, with parking right there. The service was okay, not pleasant but not the worst. Got their quesabirria and consume... it lacked so much flavor that I was so disappointed. I added more onions and Cilantro from my partners tacos to mine but didn't do much. His tacos also weren't great, and they lacked flavor. He tried 3 different flavors, too.

I got the quesotaco. This cart has some of the best 'tacos' I've ever had. Deeeeelicious! I got 2 of the normal ones and 1 fish and they were all amazing! Not I gotta go back to Portland and tell all the food trucks they've been doin it wrong.

Stopped here after a flight, food was decent but super expensive or maybe I'm just that poor. But $50 for 2 plates of Mexican food? But it was all really good, portions were actually very large, like one plate was too much food, I'm not complaining though. One taco plate with lots of meat and one Birria platter and 2 drinks. Totally hit the spot after a long flight and your like damn if only I could have some LA tacos right now! The service was great! They are very nice and you could tell they're used to having tourists cause most taco trucks automatically give you spicy carrots and chiles on the side but here they asked. And yelp wants to know if the ambience was cool, it's a taco truck of course it's cool lol. I love to support independent non-conglomerate businesses. Trust I'll pay extra if I know my moneys going to a family and not some CEO tax dodger. No disrespect to the dodgers ;)

17$ dollars for a 3 crispy taco plate no drink included. WHAT!!!!! That's ridiculous that's restaurant prices with seating and great customer service. Just because you are located in westchester doesn't mean you can charge more! I buy Mexican food all the time from lunch trucks there's no reason why you should be charging that much this is not a 5 star restaurant.

Shrimp and carne asada tacos were both on point. Flavorful, lightly crusted shrimp. Not to be outdone, the carne asada was really tasty. Large tacos we'll worth $4.50. The tortillas could've been better, there's nothing like when you get those perfect, handmade tortillas at a really great Taqueria. But hey, it's a food truck - I'll take it! Located on the street by CVS. They actually had a couple chairs set up behind the truck.

customer service is very nice here, I placed my order on the phone and a very very nice woman took my order. She asked me if I wanted everything on my tacos and when I said, I assumed that meant everything. when I got my tacos, I noticed it was just meat and cheese. Nothing else on there. I was pretty disappointed because it was decent flavor. The consume sauce was OK - watered down a bit. the shrimp burrito was good however the shrimp and it's lacked consistency and wasn't crispy. It was a bit soggy. I'm pretty spoiled when it comes to authentic Mexican food Peruvian whatever the case may be I miss the valley so much. . :/ this place does have a lot of potential. Their flavor is there, but for them not to put anything else on my tacos and then not even put radishes on the side or anything like that I kind of killed it for me. appreciate the service and I think it's a good place to grab a quick bite to eat after getting off the airplane. I live in the area so that's that!

Friendly and efficient service. Fast and delicious food at fair prices. The tacos Al pastor and Birria tacos are my favorites. I wish they had fresh pineapple to go with the Al Pastor but it's not a dealbreaker. They have some outdoor tables and chairs in case you want to scarf your tacos down real quick. The location can be a bit sketchy at times since there's a CVS right by which seems to attract some homelessness so just be aware of your surroundings.

This is our taco spot, the food is good, service is face and the staff is friendly. This is a food truck is located on Manchester right outside of CVS so of course they don't have seating available, all food is to go. Prices are reasonable and you can add cheese and sour cream for a little extra. I've had the fish tacos, asada, chicken, nachos and asada fries. Always on point!! Also, you can call your order in so that it's ready when you get there.

I got the 4 small tacos Al pastor. The tortilla wasn't the best and it was a bit cold. The meat was really good in terms of taste, but it wasn't that soft and fresh. I also got the horchata and it was a really dark color which I found a bit odd. The horchata is also really bland and not good I didn't finish it. Overall, the food was good but just average.

Good place, but I Only went once. It's a food truck parked next to a shopping center close by. I had a good experience and the food was pretty decent.

The only food truck worth the expensive prices in Play Del Rey. Highly suggest ordering one of every taco for your first visit. My boyfriend and I have done this a couple times now and share each taco. Once you find your meat of choice (don't overlook the birria, but skip the dry chicken), then you can fully commit. Although, when it comes to tacos, I tend to have commitment issues, as I want a tantalizing taste of everything. In summary, Bad Hombres makes Good Tacos.

I went there when they first opened and the food was great. They have been there for a while and the food quality has gone down. The consume needs to be improved. It was nothing but a bland beef broth with a very spicy chili sauce. Also, the birria quesadilla was lukewarm. Hopefully they can kick up their game especially with the consume.

We had a few hours after landing at LAX and wanted to find food trucks nearby. Just behind the Trader Joe's parking lot was a gem. I ordered two large tacos: birria queso taco and carne asada. Part of me wishes I had gotten 3 small to try more, but no regrets. They were so nice and had great recommendations. The only downside was finding a bench or ledge nearby, so parking lot picnic it was.

This place is so yummy!!!! I'm very very picky about my carne asada, but this place is one of the best in LA. Their Cali burrito is my fav and they have bomb ass salsas. They always serve super fresh food and they have wonderful customer service!!! Trust me you won't regret it!

this is my go to taco truck! whenever i have my post-work taco craving, this is where i go without fail. i always get the 4 taco plate with birria, chicken, carne asada, and al pastor. they do double corn tortillas that are super fresh, and really load the tacos with the juicy meat filling. they do not skimp out and i am always so grateful! the rice and beans on the side are a great complement to the star of the plate (the tacos of course!!). the meats are packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. i can never pick one type of meat, so i always go for 4 different ones. i have yet to try their burritos, but i will be soon! tip: you can call ahead and place the order for pickup. it'll be ready in 10-15 minutes if you don't want to order and wait at the truck. they work super fast to get you high quality deliciousness. tons of parking, never had any issues! only thing that makes me sad is they aren't open on the weekends. love this place!

Got the 3 large taco combo and jamaica. Al pastor meat was to die for. Jamaica was the perfect amount of sweetness and tartness. Service was quick and friendly. Recommend checking out this place if you are in the area.

My roommate and I come here almost every Thursday! Love the loaded fries, I usually get them with carnitas. The veggie torta is a great option for vegetarians. I have high hopes for their birria!

Great service, great location. But judging the quality of the food I'd have to say it is just OKAY at best. Everything about the tacos lacks flavor - the meat itself as well as the salsas. Also, the meat quality is a hit or miss. Some days it's ok and others I am spitting out hard pedazos de nervio every other bite. I'd expect this from taco stands selling dollar tacos but you're coming here spending 4.50/ taco. I've been here multiple times bc it is close to my job and an easy lunch option but don't think I'll be back.

The location of the food truck is convenient as there is a parking lot nearby with ample parking availability. I had the 3 Birria Tacos with Consome for around $16 after tax. There was spicy salsa, spicy carrots and limes included. The tacos were great and had a nice crunchy texture. The consome was great for dipping. I wish the consome was a bit more flavorful, but the meal was still really good! I ate it so fast, I didn't have time for a picture. Staff were friendly and food was made pretty quick! Would definitely stop by here again.

We tried the birria tacos and it did not disappoint! They have limited outdoor seating which is nice for this area. Prices seemed fair and the service was great. We're excited to go back and try more.

I love this taco truck! I am addicted, and come at least twice/week. Their shrimp tacos and shredded beef quezotaco are my weakness. The fried fish taco is also delicious, and a big fat cup of limonada is so refreshing. They are very nice with great customer service. Open on weekdays!

The name of this food truck got my attention the first time I saw it but never really cared to stop by and check out their food. But after passing by so many times I finally gave it a try yesterday 10.9.20 FIRST IMPRESSION : The guy & lady i spoke with were nice. MENU: So many great options MY ORDER : 4Tacos I chose 2 carne asada & 2 al pastor comes with Rice & Beans they have salsa options and I got a Fresh Lemonade TASTE: The lemonade was sooo refreshing - it seemed like it was freshly squeezed. The Tacos - I loved the tortillas they use because they weren't hard like on other tacos I've had and not too thin - they were just right. They give a good amount of meat (I agree with some reviews the meat could use a little more flavor but it wasn't too bad) I got it with fresh cilantro and onions topped with a green salsa I added the mild one they gave to add a little extra spice. Rice & Beans: Good Texture on the rice / the beans were okay not too crazy about them... so I just mixed them together and it was all good. OVERALL EXPERIENCE : I would stop again and re order this. MY NEXT CRAVING FROM THEIR MENU: The Torta / Quesadilla / Shrimp Tacos

Absolutely bomb dot com!!! Food is always freshly made and very juicy not dry... i work near by so and different days I've tried the breakfast burrito the Birria fries and shrimp tacos and torta de pollo! Everything I've tried has been made to perfection... now they even have tables and chairs outdoors to enjoy your meal.. the worker that rides his bike to work everyday has the best attitude and works hard to have everything ready for the next order and the girl taking the orders at the window is very nice!

I didn't realize it but they had accidentally charged me for 3 extra tacos. I didn't notice but they told me they made a mistake and gave me a refund. Brownie points, and tacos were fire

These tacos taste fresh and the meat is juicy--but they remind me of those homemade tacos you make with ground beef & ground chicken. I tried the carne asada and the chicken and don't get me wrong, the tacos tasted good and the meat was juicy...but they just don't have the flavor profile of a classic taco. If you're in the area, it's good for a quick bite, but don't expect those classic Mexican flavors.

This place has super delicious tacos. I tried birria & asada. The staff was super friendly. It's only 20 minutes from LAX.

Oh my goodness, if I could give them a 10, I would; everything is good there, from their service to their chips to their nachos to their California burritos to their Carne Asada fries to the tortas to the burritos to the tacos. I mean, I can go on and on and on about these delicious items; my crew and I have been going there forever, and I've taken out-of-town guests, and they feel the same way I seriously don't understand why they have a 4.5 goes to show you you can't please everyone and people love to complain lol

I was pretty sure that I'd scoped most of the go-to taco spots on the westwide, so imagine my surprise upon stumbling across Bad Hombre Tacos a mere mile from my office one evening. Good stuff here that's worth your visit. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Super, super super friendly folks here at Bad Hombre Tacos as others have mentioned. Yes, the wait times can grow a bit lengthy depending on the time, but they know this and give out business cards so that you can phone in orders ahead of time and skip the wait. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Really great pricing here at Bad Hombre given the sizes of these tacos. Standard street meats will run you $2.00 and the seafood options like fried fish and shrimp an equally reasonable $4.00 each. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Really good stuff. The proteins were fresh and flavorful, and the shrimp in particular was excellent. The salsas and peripherals brought it all together, and my only complaint was that the tortillas were nothing special and there was a bit more grease in the mix than I was otherwise used to. Single Star. Star 5: Would you be excited to go back? Definitely. Star.

So damn good. I stumbled across them one rainy Saturday afternoon as I pulled up to run some errands. Decided to try them when I finished and there were 3 people ahead of me despite the rain, that was a good sign. Once it was my turn to order, I couldn't decide btwn a few tacos (to try out the various meats) or the carne asada fries. I asked about the fries and the lady explained everything on them (asada, nacho cheese, shredded cheese, cilantro, onions, avocado sauce, chipotle sauce and sour cream) and I was sold. Took about 8-10 minutes to prep. I waited in my car and they used the loud speaker to announce orders. Very convenient considering it was raining. I was being a fat ass and decided to taste the fries before heading home. So I pop open the box and it was love at first sight! Seconds later it was love at first bite! It was SO damn good. I asked for their hottest salsa and it wasn't as hot as I like it but the flavor of everything was soooo good I didn't even care. I ended up sitting there for like at least 20 minutes and managed to inhale half of them. The order is huge! Definitely a meal for sharing and I'm not even into sharing food ha! Looking forward to going back to get some other things. I'm definitely going to be a regular given they're so close to my house.

Next to the CVS along the street, so it's super convenient to park in that giant parking lot and just walk to the sidewalk to order. The large tacos didn't look that much different than the regular tacos. I think next time I'm gonna get the regular tacos so I can try more flavors. Our first time there, they provided us all the salsas to try and I'm glad they did. Definitely makes it easier to return next time and request the salsa I like.

This taco spot is up the street from where we live and can be a good and bad thing as the tacos are UH-MAZING! I've ordered shrimp tacos (!!!), fish tacos, chicken and beef. All were good, but the shrimp is my favorite. My fiancé always gets the wet burrito! Definitely give it a try if you're nearby! Go for it!

Today I placed an order for 5 large tacos. I try to eat here when ever I'm in the area because of the quality of the meat and the green avocado salsa. This is a must try especially if you are on your way out of LA and it's near LAX. As I arrived to pick up my order, i was told that the order was wrong and they made 5 regular(small size) tacos. The lady said "I apologize, tell you what I'm gonna do, you can have them on the house. We made a mistake" I offered to pay for the tacos but she insisted. Here is why I'm very pleased, not because I got free food(as I intend to return as a regular customer) but because it's rare to see a small business admit to an over sight. It's difficult times as it is and for them to just tell me I can have the food made my night. I will return very soon to place another order and to pay it forward. Thank you Bad Hombre!

Very good but not great. The food is all very high quality but tastes less authentic then other places I've been. It is pricy for drive through Mexican food, I also salsas from other places better these taste more vinegary than I like. Still definitely worth a try.

Really good Mexican food! The carne asada nachos and loaded fries are a hit in our home. I dream about them sometimes. I highly recommend this food truck if live in the area or if you are on your way to or from LAX airport. It's in a convenient spot, and there is always free parking in the adjacent parking lot (near the CVS)!

Damn good taco truck especially the crispy birria taco was delicious I got three pieces and a little soup for like 13 bucks and it was serve with a smile buy a bad ass hombre so Gracias amigo and Hasta mañana for some more tacos

From Hawaii and craving legit Barria style crispy street tacos. Ordered Birria Plate and 3 tacos! It was a winner! Convenient by Trader Joe's near LAX airport!

The birria mulita was good but that's pretty hard to fuck up. The shrimp tacos...... had zero flavors. Their salsas are all water.... Out of all the taco spots in the area this is my least favorite. Not sure why it's rated so high?

We traveled out to LA from the Desert this weekend and we found this gem! We eat A LOT of tacos, and these were hands down the best tacos we have ever had! Can't wait to come back again!

This place has the best Al Pastor tacos! My go to at least once a week. They're shrimp tacos are great as well.

I give it yes they have fresh and delicious tacos. This is all i do try everybody's tacos. From Mexico to San Francisco. These are my favorite tacos de asada, good seasoning and carnitas very flavorful. So glad no yellow cheese. No pics cause I ate them thinking I'm coming back for more and try other stuff on their menu

Sooooo glad I decided to give this place a try! Absolutely delicious. The fish taco was seasoned so nicely and was plentiful. The birria was great as well: no need to bother with buying extra dipping sauce. It's perfect without it. The green hot sauce added thee best flavor to everything. I will definitely be back!

First time trying the food . Got 2 shrimp tacos 2 carne asada multitas. My wife had the carne asada nachos shrimp was okay, taco shells were raggedy. Tried the cane asada Mulita. It had no flavor. My wife's asada nachos had no flavor, little meat and the chips were soggy.
