Bad Medicine

Bad Medicine is an incredible addition to the Cleveland bar + restaurant scene. Their cocktail menu is delicious- with reliably well made classics along with innovative originals- my favorite on the menu is their margarita. The food is the perfect accompaniment- a well balanced mix of bar staples (my favorite is their rendition of a Roman burger) and exciting creative dishes. Don’t feel like you have to be a drinker to partake- their N/A offerings are just as special as the rest of the cocktail menu- and again…the food is so good. The atmosphere is cool, and the record player keeps you well entertained. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Run don't walk y’all.

They have creative and classic drinks, all expertly crafted. The food is incredible. The dual turntables the bartenders run between orders keeps the groove going. Check this place out.

My husband and I went here for the first time right at their opening time on a Monday during their "unofficial" opening week and were VERY impressed! The listening bar is a great concept and is well executed, the bartenders play records behind the bar as they're making drinks. The place is decorated nicely and has big open spaces that can seat a lot, and it looked like there was also lots of standing room too when it's busy. We have been fans of Bryan (one of the co-owners) since he was mixing our cocktails at the defunct Spotted Owl and have been keeping tabs on him from afar so that we could see where he landed and follow him there, haha. During our visit we had Tim as our mixologist and the drinks here were so tasty! The menu has a lot of classics and we tried the Old Fashioned, Sazerac, Manhattan, and the Tuxedo No 2. The Manhattan was our favorite - it had a hint of chai in it that took it to another level, but seriously all of them were really well done. My husband and I are also vegan and like to frequent cocktail bars and restaurants that can feed us, but we weren't sure if there were any options for us here since the menu wasn't posted at the time of our visit, but we were happy to learn that we could order a few things on the menu with some adjustments (the Falafel sandwich and the Roasted Carrots), and then the Potatoes as-is. The food was DELICIOUS and very flavorful. Great place, great music, and very welcoming! With a friendly staff, tasty food and fantastic drinks, we'll be adding it to our list of regular stops.

I'm genuinely not sure if there's a spot in Ohio with better vibes than this place. The music is great, the staff is the best I've interacted with, the food is incredible and the drinks are somehow even better than everything else. Get yourself to Bad Medicine. Immediately.

This place quickly became our local spot. The place is cool and ambiance is great but the staff is what makes this place. Tim and Andrew are always friendly, fun, and of course they make great drinks.

Bad Medicine is the business. The Gimlet and the chicken sandwich are top notch. The eclectic flow of the music brings an amazing vibe to an amazing space .

Wanted to try corpse reviver but it was no longer on menu. Opted for pineapple Moscow mule which had a smokiness to it. The shrimp cake small plate had a kick to it. Happy hour prices $3 off cocktails. Service was great until it got busy

The chicken sandwich is absolutely wonderful. The housemade aioli — wow. My wife loved the shrimp cake and her Midwestern Margarita. My Corn Colada was, no joke, the best zero proof drink I have ever had. The vibes are on point. Chill, yet upbeat; refined, yet not pretentious. A fantastic spot.
