I have been to the southwest location, but I decided to try the southeast location in Henderson… I ordered the Breakfast Croissant with Avocado and the Butter Brew. Both were delicious. It has a semi Harry Potter theme but not really so don’t believe everything that you see in social media. It is a really cute place though! I encourage people to look around, especially by the bookcase. They are really nice as well! Very good customer service.

Stopped in here on my way home from Las Vegas for a quick bite around 2:40 pm on a Saturday, It was clean, cozy appearance and only had a few customers. I ordered their Stardust Lemonade and the B.A.E. Egg Sandwich on sourdough. The lemonade was a unique treat both satisfying and refreshing. The sandwich was everything I hoped it would be and filled me up. The bathroom was clean and this coffee shop is worth checking out.

Delicious food and relaxing atmosphere. When you enter the shop looks dark and broody but it's meant to give off that vibe because of the Harry Potter Theme. There's lots of room to sit inside and a couple of tables outside. The menu has a lot of options for coffee, sandwiches, toasts and baked goods. We had the "Curious Croissant"/ "Avocado Everything"/ "Lavender White Chocolate Mocha"/ "Stardust Lemonade"/ Chocolate beignets and chocolate croissant. EVERYTHING was delicious 👌 So so good. The service was quick and friendly. We had a great time. Definitely going back again. 😁👍

This cute little coffee shop on Eastern in Henderson. Walking in is Giving me Harry Potter vibes, with its rustic muted colors decor and lighting. They have great coffee, the staff is friendly, and the vibe very chill. They have other locations in Las Vegas as well.

Cozy little coffee shop specializing in Harry Potter themed drinks. Things here you won't find anywhere else! When we went the first time, we got a coffee flight, which has a lot of their specialties. Prices are also fair. Their food is amazing.

Bad Owl Coffee is a nice cafe shop. The atmosphere is dark but with lively customers. The customer service is so so, because the person who took our order(man with the ring ear piercing) was lacking enthusiasm/ not pleasant. No eye contact. The food was great. The breakfast burrito was really good. The strawberry lemonade was perfect.Coffee was ok.

What a fun place for coffee & lunch or just to have some alone time. The decor is so much fun, the Harry Potter look is wonderful; there are lots of hidden treasures. Coffee is spot on & the Customer Service is wonderful. The prices don't break the bank either. Having a coffee flight was so much fun.

It's been awhile since I stopped by Bad Owl considering how conveniently close they are to me ! My friend suggested the banana cold brew latte so I stopped in for a quick drink :) Sooo good!!!!!! Not too sweet and the banana topping was a nice touch :) The staff was very kind and it was pretty chill inside, good for studying/working!

Ordered delivery so may be different experience when dining in. Classic Avocado Toast 3/5 - simple, sourdough soft, good flavour; avocado fresh - eggs well cooked, nicely seasoned - chili flakes added dimension, balsamic vinegrette also added good flavour - nothing special, solid avo toast Kyoto Brew 2/5 - tasted burnt, not smooth - unpleasant experience unfortunately Hazelnut Chocolate Beignet 2/5 - dry dough - small for price - filling was nothing special Overall unsure if I would come back, maybe will try dine in since this was delivery. The avo toast was quite pleasant but nothing special. Coffee unsure if will order again

Now this is a cool place. Dark colors and wood, cool employees who really know their stuff, and just an all-around relaxing but mysterious vibe. First off, I don't drink coffee, but I could easily see myself hanging out here or getting some food or tea. I stopped in that morning to get my dad some coffee and a breakfast sandwich. I told the employee that I had no idea about coffee or tastes but that my dad likes light roasts, and he helped me pick out a bean and explained all of the nuances between that one and others that they had. He explained that they do a drip system so it would take a bit longer and I appreciated the heads-up. I also ordered the buns of power breakfast sandwich, and the total came to about $20 which I think is pretty pricey. It took about 10 minutes for the coffee and sandwich to be made, which again, a little bit longer than I would've thought but at least everything was made from scratch. My dad loved both the coffee and the sandwich, so it was completely worth the wait and the price. I think I may stop in here to get some whole beans for a gift!

My coworker and I have been meeting weekly at a local coffee shop for work and some social interaction. I debated whether to give this place 3 or 4 stars. I ultimately decided to give this place 3 stars because it is a coffee shop and the coffee was what I did not like. For reference, I tried 3 different lattes, and only liked one of them. What I loved - -Clean -Enjoyed working from here. Low noise level and seating was easy to find. -Outlets to charge your laptops -Super friendly staff -My coworker ordered the Nutella Latte, and let me try a sip. I thought it was absolutely delicious. I will order this next time I come in. What I did not love - -The Spanish Ube latte was not good at all. This is going to sound odd, but it tasted like beans to me. -The Double Pumpkin latte was not the worst, but not my favorite. I like my coffee on the sweeter side so I always order only 1 shot of espresso for a medium size cup. It still tasted too bitter in my opinion.

If you know me and have read all my previous Yelp reviews on local coffee spots, you know that I am a huge fan of them! Bad Owl was my most recent coffee spot discovery. They are located on the corner of Eastern and Horizon Ridge right next to Crumbl Cookies. I walked in and was greeted by a darker, Harry Potter-like theme. There is also a police box (or Tardis for all you Doctor Who fans out there) sitting in a corner next to the entrance, which I ended up sitting behind of. This is literally the perfect place to study or work, with lots of seating on the inside and the outside. Walking in, I was greeted by the friendly young man behind the counter. They have lots and lots of food and drink options to choose from! After looking over their drink menu, I ordered a 20 oz (extra large) lavender white mocha latte and a chocolate chip muffin as a small breakfast item, warmed up. I also got myself a cool sticker, which cost an additions $1. For some reason, any kind of coffee with lavender added in really makes it taste better. The chocolate chip muffin paired perfectly with this drink, but at the same time, I feel like I should've gone for something healthier instead. I'm happy that I discovered Bad Owl. I'll definitely have to come back next time I'm in the area.

We love the Bad Owls in Las Vegas and this location is no exception! We came here on Sunday morning as we headed to Arizona. We've always loved the breakfast sandwiches but this time, we added the avocado toast, and it was also delicious. The coffee is always quite good and the service is friendly and fast. You can't go wrong having breakfast at Bad Owl!

We haven't been here so long but we came 2 days in a row this week because of Nutella muffins. Today we had breakfast burrito ,double pumpkin latte, orange cappuccino and Nutella muffins for to go. Everything was great . The service was nice .we'll come back to try more seasonal coffee.

Don't normally hop on here to write reviews, but just had to after i visited this place the other day. Barista was so sweet and conversational- i think her name started with an N but i didn't fully catch it. She was a delight, and so was the coffee. Great establishment.

I live somewhat nearby and have come here for coffee on a few weekend mornings. If you want drip coffee you do have to do a pour over, though every variety of coffee I've had as a pour over there was very good (and admittedly as much as the price of drip at nice coffee places has gone up recently, the cost of a pour over here honestly isn't too much more). Service is reasonably efficient and cordial, though it is definitely your traditional hipster barista vibe. Order, move along. Seating is comfortable... they do get a pretty good crowd, so seating may be hard to come by between mid-morning and early afternoon. The group seating is surprisingly accommodating for groups, though if more than 2-3 groups are here it can get too packed, and there's no outdoor seating. Parking could also be a challenge as the café and other nearby establishments fill up, plus while it's easy to get here, getting out and heading north or east can be unduly difficult with Eastern and Horizon Ridge both too busy to safely turn left against traffic (I usually just head west on Horizon Ridge or south on Eastern regardless of which way I want to go from there).

I found myself at Bad Owl Coffee, seeking solace in a cup of java. As fate would have it, I laid eyes on the Charmingly Pesto Sandwich. Whoa, the flavors hit me like a wave, a symphony of freshness and zest. The pesto, rich and vibrant, paired perfectly with the creamy mozzarella and fresh ingredients, making every bite a delightful experience. Bad Owl Coffee truly knows how to craft a sandwich that's both comforting and bursting with flavor!

Nice cozy and dark coffee shop with Harry potter vibes. Plenty of inside and outside seating areas. Staff was friendly and helpful. So far I have tried the orange chiffon latte , bad owl brew (reminded me of eggnog drink ) and the stardust lemonade . All of them were super tasty and just need to come back and try some of their food.

Always a treat to come here. It's my daughters favorite coffee house. Her seasonal strawberry matcha latte was delicious. The lavender white mocha was good but it wasn't my favorite. I like trying different, just wasn't my jam. The lavender lovers will probably enjoy. Our barista was solo but handled it all although she was busy. I like the dark Harry P theme so I can just blend in and not feel awkward in my grubby weekend costume.

Bad Owl Coffee is a Harry Potter themed cafe that serves uniquely handcrafted drinks. I had the Ube Spanish Latte (hot) and it was delicious! I just wish it was served in a clear cup so I could appreciate that beautiful purple with some latte milk art on top. Their pastries looked good, but I didn't try any during my visit. It's spacious inside with lots of seating. If I needed to get some work done, this would be an ideal place. I would venture to say that this is the best coffee shop in Henderson!

First time here with some friends, we saw a review on Instagram and decided to come and try! My husband and I ordered the Signature Butter brew add espresso shot and Biscoff Latte. We ordered a Breakfast croissant very yummy Love the decor industrial/ Harry Potter themed, we brought our wands to take pictures with lol The barista was friendly and patient, will be back when we're in the area

Great coffee, and the vibe is always great. A nice place to catch up with a friend or simply take a break and read a book. The food is great, and the coffee is delicious. The staff is welcoming and polite.

Touted as a Harry Potter coffee shop, the vibe was cute but pretty minimal in my opinion. I ordered the large Lavender latte iced. Unfortunately, I didn't taste the house made lavender syrup. My Daughter ordered the second breakfast Latte which was too salty to enjoy. After reading all the great reviews.... I'm curious did we choose a bad day for the first try @Bad Owl ?

LOVED my iced latte this morning!! I will most definitely be back! It was a butterscotch flavor & not too sweet for my taste (I asked for 1/2 the sweetness)

Cute, cozy coffee shop close to home. We've been here quite a few times but not as frequently as I'd like, my daughter loves their butter brew, and so do I. The butter brew is their most popular drink, it's good hot or iced but better hot. Since today is forecasted to be 117 I ordered a iced almond latte which is good but you definitely get a lots of almonds coming through your straw as you drink, which is good but threw me off at first, still a tasty drink but it reminds me of a boba where you have to chew a little as you drink. Service was fine they were pretty busy and I think it was only a couple barista's. I will come back occasionally for their butter brew, just not when it's 117 out. There is no drive thru, so you have to get out of the car.

I have many reviews of coffee houses around town. I like trying different places, especially those that roast the coffee themselves. There is nothing "bad" about Bad Owl. A friend turned me onto the place and I've been back multiple times. Typically if I'm driving in the vicinity I'll stop in for an outstanding cup of coffee. Consistency is key with coffee. No one likes burnt coffee and you won't get that here at Bad Owl. Service is always friendly and if you have questions they are more than happy to help.

TO THE HARRY POTTER FANS: If you are driving far to see this, save your gas and time. This is not a Harry Potter themed place as seen on various other platforms. There are a few tiny little things that are HP, that's it. And according to the other Bad Owl Coffee places we called, Henderson has the most HP decor. Having said that; we traveled far to come and see/try this coffee place and the coffee was great! I ordered a hot Americano and it was delicious! The croissants are made in-house daily and are flaky & mouthwatering. The coffee was piping hot and I realized I should've gotten an iced Americano since the LIV tournament we were heading to doesn't allow outside drinks; my husband went inside to ask for a cup of ice and was given one with out pushback. The flakiest flavorful croissant, a great tasting Americano (black), and excellent customer service..... of course this place deserves 5 STARS! I was disappointed that there wasn't more of a HP theme, but everything else made the trip worth while! I'm glad I stopped here.

Very trendy coffee spot. Enjoyed the coffee flight with banana cold brew. However, the other coffee flavors we had were too sugary.

This place was alright but, I've had better. The girl got our order wrong and then wanted to argue when trying to explain what we ordered. Pointing to cups when one hasn't ever been to an establishment is not great customer service. The place is cute inside but tbh there wasn't all that much of "Harry Potter" vibes except for a few pictures and brooms on the wall. The coffee is good and we enjoyed the butter brew, we didn't try any of the food since we had just ate breakfast. The place is conveniently located around many shops and businesses and I'm sure it's a favorite amongst others, it may be a while if I decide to come back again, and if I do, the next time I will bring my son and try the food.

A bit pricey. But it was delicious! We ordered a head of time so when we arrived it was ready. Breakfast burrito is always our favorite never disappoints and of course beignets. We tried each a new coffee this time, I got the butterscotch brew and my gosh it was heaven. My husband went with a cinnamon type of espresso coffee and it was also very delicious. Although this entire order cost nearly $45 it's worth it!

I originally heard about Bad Owl Coffee because of its magical theme, so I decided to check out the coffee shop on my way out of town to do some Southern Nevada sightseeing. The cozy and magical decor is warm and welcoming without it being obnoxiously over-the-top. The employee greeted my husband and I and was open to answering questions as we perused the extensive menu. I appreciated the professionalism and hospitality so early in the morning. I was very pleased with the extensive menu and enticing food options--it was hard to choose! But I eventually decided on the Curious Croissant, which was delicious! I'm a sucker for a fried egg on a breakfast sandwich! The side salad was a bit odd to me. I think fruit would have been a more appropriate pairing, but my husband ended up eating the salad in addition to his BAE which looked super tasty on a brioche bun! It was unusually cold on this particular spring day at a brisk 45 degrees, so I opted for a hot Roasted Almond Latte and the husband got an Orange Chiffon Latte. I'm surprised I have never had this flavor latte before. The lattes did have small chunks of almond and orange zest, so if you have a texture issue be aware! I didn't mind the almond pieces, but I know I wouldn't have liked the orange zest pieces. I would definitely come back to Bad Owl Coffee next time I'm in the area. Especially since they are one of the few local coffee shops open at 7am.

The service was nice. I ordered a pumpkin chai latte and blueberry muffin. Not enough pastries selections. The drink was good but could be made hotter as it was warm. Bit pricey, in my opinion. The ambiance is nice and has good music and is not too loud. Good parking. If I come back, I will ask for the drink to be made extra hot. Plus, I'm not sure if they have other milk selections such at 2% milk. I wasn't asked when I ordered

This place is absolutely fabulous such great people working and very friendly I love it.

I just stopped in for a quick coffee. Coffee was great but there weren't very many outlets for laptop chargers. There was plenty of space to sit and it was pretty calm in the afternoon.

shoutout to bad owl for creating the greatest drink I have ever had! I would've never thought that banana would go so well with coffee but wow it sure does! it reminded me so much of plátano maduros fritos (fried ripe plantains). the sweetness of the banana mixed so well with the spices along with the bitterness from the coffee tied to create such a tasty drink. will go back again and again! sweet workers too!

If you want some Harry Potter vibes, this is the coffee place for you. I absolutely loved the inside of this coffee shop. The staff was friendly and very informative. I hadn't seen my bestie in way too long so it was great to find a place where we can catch up over a flight of coffee and delicious food. Coffee flights are a great way to share and try different drinks, I loved the last two and my bestie loved the first so it worked out. I highly recommend you try this place when your in Vegas.

We came across this coffee shop because of a cool TikTok video. We were very pleased to have tried this place! The coffee and breakfast was delicious & service was relatively fast. Try their coffee flight, it's so worth it!

We had a very early flight into Vegas, and while I'm not a coffee drinker my husband very much is. This was our first stop on our southwest trip and it was a great one, according to my husband. I cannot remember what kind of coffee he got, but he usually opts something boujee and tasty-sounding. He lauded how good the coffee itself was, and he's pretty snobby with his coffee. They have some other food and drink offerings. The locale itself is really cute on the inside, you could get some good thinking done there. And the staff was really friendly and sweet. We always make it a point to try out local coffee shops, mostly for my husband, and this was a good find. We would definitely recommend this!

Haven't been here since they were forced to change the theme of the place. I used to like the platform 9 and 3/4 plus other copyrighted Harry Potter themes. Shortly after opening weekend we came a second time and saw the menu items and themes were changed. My guess is that JK Rowlings legal team sent a cease and desist letter to the owner. There's better more original coffee places to try in the valley.

This is a super cute coffee shop with a Harry Potter theme going. It's a perfect little place to pull your laptop out and get a few emails sent for work. As well as meeting a friend for a quick lunch break. I came just to meet my family on Sunday morning. I looked through the menu and had the Ube Latte catch my eye. It was earthy and sweet at the same time. A perfect balance of flavor. The rich purple color of the latte was beautiful as was the latte art the barista artistically designed. Great little spot, I'll be back for food next time!

I love bad owl coffee. All the locations are great but I really enjoy the Henderson location . It's a great place to hangout and read, or meet up with a friend. The Chicago location is also a great addition to the south side!

I came here to work one day & I was pleasantly surprised! Not only was the coffee delicious and strong btw, but also the food was good and the music was nice. The croissant was nice and flaky and the salad tasted fresh. I'll definitely be back here to work/study again!

Coffee: went with a flavored beverage this am and it was perfectly not too sweet. Croissant sandwiches were scrumptious. Spouse: The HP decor was a bit underwhelming however the food was delicious Review from the tiny human: It was good.

A neat Harry Potter themed coffee shop here in Henderson. They have a good selection of coffee and lattes as well as things to eat. Been here several times and never had a disappointing experience. Place is well kept and has plenty of seating. A good place to meet up for a meeting or to chill with friends.

I really wanted to like it but alas, it was not meant to be. I am a die hard espresso purist and visit specialty coffee shops everywhere I go including my own neighborhood. Bad Owl is the closest specialty coffee shop to my home but it looks like I'll be driving a little further away as their espresso is subpar. If you like the taste of dark roasted and over-extracted (bitter) espresso, this may be the place for you. Interestingly, their espresso blend is named sweet venom and I was looking forward to tasting the natural sweetness of this single origin coffee as well as the other tasting notes but there is truly nothing about this coffee that delivers on any of their tasting notes. I even asked the barista if this was a dark roast and he let me know that it was a medium roast that is ground very fine to deliver a dark roast flavor. Huh? In addition, it would seem that their espresso recipe is off, as the liquid volume in the cup approached at least a 3 to 1 ratio of coffee to liquid in what appeared to be at least 60 grams in the cup if not more. So I guess it boils down to any number of things. 1) they over roasted this batch of beans 2) they have a poor recipe whereby they are grinding too fine and simply over-extracting the coffee or 3) the barista didn't follow the prescribed recipe for a standard espresso. In any case, I hope they receive this feedback as constructive and are able to dial in their espresso to a much more palatable and pleasing level.

This cutest coffeeshop for nerds and coffee enthusiasts alike. The Bad Owl has fun Harry Potter inspired decor, food and drinks! The drink menu has a wide variety of creative lattes like Second Breakfast (cinnamon and maple), Biscott (shortbread cookie), Banana Cold Brew and more. Those just come to mind since they were the drinks we ordered. We were so impressed at how balanced and not overly sweet the flavored lattes were! And the breakfast menu - WOW! So many great toasts, a breakfast burrito, overnight oats, breakfast sandwiches to name a few. Lots of healthy and hearty breakfast options with high quality ingredients. Our party ordered the Classic Avocado Toast, Everything Avocado Toast, Breakfast Burrito and Croissant Sandwich. Portion sizes were perfect and the flavors were amazing. The avocados were fresh and buttery and the balsamic reduction on the avocado toast was the perfect touch. We will 100% be back! We didn't order them but they have a Cold Brew Flight that would be perfect for cold brew lovers.

Today my sister and I casually stumbled upon this cute coffee shop, unaware of it's Harry Potter/Hedwig the Owl themed atmosphere! It's so cute and warm (literally) they could crank the ac a tad lower in there and it would have been more comfortable, especially in this Vegas summer heat. I ordered their signature iced B I S C O F F L A T T E the flavors of gingerbread biscuit and honey (aka cookie butter) brightened my morning right up! It reminded me of fall so I'm glad they have those options year round. If you love peanut butter try their vegan overknight oats, it's a solid 8/10! I'm big on texture so I would have preferred a little more crunch. Service was very friendly and she also spelt my name correctly so that's a plus in my books! I can't wait to visit again and try their other signature lattes!

Went to Bad Owl for breakfast, loved that they are open bright and early at 7am, had the whole restaurant to myself as no one was there that early for a Tuesday morning. Ordered a vanilla latte and avocado toast... all i can say is WOW! Delicious! The way the chef cooked the egg was perfect and the balsamic reduction is a great added addition. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the vibe in the spot is super hip and modern. Super cute decor! Def recommend when visiting by eastern and st. Rose!

My husband and I used to live close by the Rainbow location and went for years there. Recently we moved to Henderson and wanted to try out the original location! When we first stepped in here we loved the vibe of the place. It's dark and rusty with warmth from the lighting. We already know the food and drinks here are enjoyable. I get my usual drink of the Iced Chai Latte with Oatmilk and an avocado toast! The quality matched the location of Rainbow's so I was pleased with that. Unfortunately we were n o t pleased with the service from the barista who took our order. My husband heard "I know you people" under the breath of the barista. And when we were ordering it was the most bland and unpleasant interaction. Not one smile or greeting. And frankly, it just felt like the barista hated her job! Thankfully the other baristas working had better attitudes. I'm not fully sure if I'd specifically recommend this location to my loved ones as of late. Other than our negative reaction with our barista, the vibe is chill overall and I've been a fan of their drinks since Rainbow opened up.

Some of our friends approved of this coffee shop when we were showing them where we planned on going. This location is decorated so nicely, it would make such a nice date spot or study spot (if we were locals). We got too hungry so we decided to order some food... and this is where I took off a star. The food was great... tasted really good and well made but the pricing was ridiculous for LV. It almost felt like we stumbled into a coffee shop in SF, Bay Area. I would recommend to eat elsewhere (you'd probably get more food just as good for the same price) but def stop by for their coffee!

Came here to do some work! The wifi is acceptable and free. I was able to complete a quick video call with no issue. I ordered the banana cold brew, which was absolute fire. They were able to veganize it for me. For food, I grabbed the PB / banana toast. It was pretty messy, so I ate it with a fork & knife. Tasted amazing and I appreciated the amount of bananas! Music is tasteful and not too loud. They also had alcohol available. Great for when your boss is driving you crazy haha. I will be back.

I've loved this place for years!!!! My fave drink is a 20oz iced butter brew with espresso and salt cream foam on top! Highly recommend! I love the food as well. The breakfast burrito is my fave!!!! My family also loves the Nutella beignets!

Great little find. We came in January during "dry January" as an alternative to brewery hopping. What a great vibe! Very hip. Young friends gathered and were chatting and others were treating it like a typical Internet cafe on their laptops. Service was nice, coffee was tasty, wifi was good. Space is a bit small, but we had no trouble finding a place to sit and sip. There's definitely a "dark" ambiance going on with dark wood, broomsticks, and black walls with bricks. But I feel like I could be at a Harry Potter train station so it's all good! Cheers

I came here to check out the Harry Potter themed cafe. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when I ordered my items. I appreciated that a lot! I got the First Year's Flight! It came with a butterbrew, nitrobrew, latter, and an expresso. I thought this was the coolest thing! But all 4 was delicious! My favorite was the butterbrew! It tasted like the butter beer from universal studios but in a coffee form! The expresso was super strong but I liked it! The latter too, was very tasty and the nitrobrew was strong but I loved it! I also got the breakfast croissant sandwich and it came with bananas. The breakfast croissant was super flaky with a bit of crunch, which I loved! It also had a sweet and savory taste to it. There was a peppered egg, ham the croissant, cheese and mayo. It was huge and I had to take half of it home. The cafe ambiance was awesome! It was cool to see a few Harry Potter themed items in there! I think if they added more decorations, it would bring out the mood of Harry Potter even more. I definitely will be back!
