Use to be the place for good food, hanging out and happening joint in SOBO but did not get the same vibe on my recent visit. For old time sake I still would rate it at 3 ✨ Location as always a s right in the heart of Iconic places like Gate way of India and Taj Mahal Hotel. Seen multiple location in the same vicinity, hope they could maintain the traditional taste or better to bring back what it was❗️

This place is bustling with the succulent aroma of spices. We visited this place at around midnight 1:30 am and it was jam packed. People came here in hoardes and the food station serving rolls and Rumali rotis were packed with customers. People with their families in their cars came into the outlet to have a taste of their favourite mouth watering snacks and food. People generally take out their orders and have it in the bonnet of their car sipping cold drinks with it. We ordered chicken Tikka roll, bhuna roll, paneer roll and egg roll with dahi. Tikka was 300 per person and egg roll 180. The taste was really good and the quantity was really good. Lot of youngsters thronged the streets and we're having their favourite snacks standing on the road. Highly recommended for food lovers out there and also for People exploring mumbai

A must visit place for non-veg lovers. The taste is very good but the potion is very less if I compared with the price. Visit the place and feel it by yourself.

This is a well known place in South Bombay, Colaba. The place is famous for its non-veg 🍗 food, now they have opened the Veg 🫛 counter part as well of the same. The place is more than 70 years old and known for its Kebab majorly and the prices are still reasonable after all this name and fame. It was first only a food stall however now they have proper restaurant 🏨 with AC and Non- AC and further opened up their vegetarian stall. I won't say a 100% hygiene was maintained but you can eat here the food is cooked in front of you. Once you enter that area you will get there Govt. specified parking there (you have to pay the charges) further you can order a take away or dine in there. You must explore the food if you are visiting this joint, thus I won't suggest anything. (Kebab 🍢 is what Bademiya is famous for, this makes sure you order that)

Bademiya started off in the year 1946 as an iconic seekh kebab food stall and then later branched out into a full-fledged restaurant chain. Bademiya Kabab Center is a renowned spot for authentic kababs. The tantalizing aroma and flavorful spices in their kababs make for a delightful culinary experience. The variety on their menu caters to diverse tastes, ensuring a memorable feast for kabab enthusiasts. The rustic ambiance adds to the charm, creating a perfect setting for savoring these delectable dishes. Dining at Bademiya Kabab Center near the Gateway of India and Taj Hotel offers a unique experience, especially with their special way of serving food on bonnets. While enjoying the vibrant atmosphere around the iconic landmarks, indulging in their flavorful kababs served with this distinctive touch enhances the overall dining adventure.Bademiya apart of Old rekady or outlet behind Taj Hotel of colaba. Resturant serves Veg, Non Veg and Jain food also.. Please expect atleast 30 min waiting time either you go in afternoon or in evening. A large part of its popularity stems from the fact that it is open till very late in the night. Here I ordered : 1. Bademiya Chicken Kebabs 2. Chicken Bhuna with Rumali Roti 3. Classic Chicken Biryani with Thandi Coke ♥️🤞 All the Dishes were very tasty and too good. I love being there..

The most pathetic experience to have in Mumbai. From food to service, everything was below consideration. The paneer was rotten, the rice was dry, the chicken was sweet and rumali roti was burnt. Everything else had too much oil. And to top it, the service, treatment and conditions were so low that a review can't match the experience.

Overall the food was good. The sitting arrangement was ok. Due to only the cash payment policy we couldn't try sweets, Nowadays keeping cash in pocket is out of fashion. Please adopt digital India.

Bademiya, an iconic food establishment in Mumbai, traces its origins back to 1946 when Mohammad Yaseen set up a humble seekh kabab counter. Over the years, it has evolved into a multi-faceted culinary destination, encompassing restaurants, takeaway joints, and a permanent food stall at its original location. The restaurant holds a special place in Mumbai's landscape, drawing both locals and tourists alike. The endearing moniker "Bademiya" was affectionately bestowed upon Mohammad Yaseen by his loyal patrons, reflecting the deep admiration for his culinary prowess. Today, his legacy lives on through his five sons, who diligently preserve his techniques and recipes, ensuring that the essence of Bademiya's cuisine remains unchanged. Situated in South Bombay's Colaba, Bademiya is renowned for its delectable non-vegetarian fare, particularly its succulent kebabs. Despite its age and reputation, the prices remain reasonable, making it accessible to all. While hygiene standards may not be impeccable, the food is prepared fresh before your eyes, ensuring a satisfying culinary experience. The establishment has expanded to include both indoor and outdoor dining options, catering to various preferences. Whether you opt for the air-conditioned comfort of the restaurant or the bustling atmosphere of the food stall, the aroma of spices permeates the air, enticing diners from all walks of life. Our late-night visit to Bademiya revealed a bustling scene, with throngs of people flocking to indulge in their favorite rolls and kebabs. Whether dining in or taking away, the quality and quantity of the food did not disappoint. From chicken tikka rolls to paneer rolls, each dish was bursting with flavor, leaving a lasting impression. Amidst the hustle and bustle of Mumbai's streets, this timeless eatery stands as a testament to the city's rich culinary heritage. For food enthusiasts and Mumbai explorers alike, Bademiya is a must-visit destination, offering an authentic taste of the city's vibrant street food scene.
