Badiani Gelato Notting Hill

Having the best gelato croissant…which you can choose only 1 flavour from their gelato menu. I chose the pistachio flavour and it came out surprisingly a big one which I really satisfied🤤🤤 The price is around £6.90 if I’m not mistaken for their gelato croissant.

Wow wow wow is all I can say for this place. It was absolutely delicious unfortunately they ran out of croissants however I opted for a crepe with pistachio inside and drizzled on top with vanilla ice cream. It was so nice I ended up getting 2 lol greedy me but it was fabulous. My daughter had the coconut and passion fruit ice cream and they were absolutely delicious. The service was great and I am definitely going back for the pancake with pistachios 🥰

I’m a regular customer, and I absolutely love this place! The gelato is consistently delicious 😋 with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. The customer service🧞‍♂️ is always friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Badiani Gelato in Notting Hill Gate is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warmth and smiles from the incredible staff—Karma, Puja, and Kamel, who make the experience all the more delightful. Their service is top-notch, creating an inviting and friendly atmosphere that perfectly complements the incredible gelato on offer. The gelato itself is nothing short of stunning authentic, creamy, and bursting with rich Italian flavors that transport you straight to Italy. Every scoop feels like a little piece of heaven. If you're a gelato lover, this place is an absolute must-try!

The pistachio gelato is not what you think! In an effort to make more of a margin they’re now selling a sweet cream ice cream with a layer of pistachio cream (this is not the same as pure pistachio paste, rather it is a cheaper spread made with oil, pistachio, milk powder and sugar etc) on top. It is sickly sweet. It’s a great shame and immense disappointment as any gelateria should pride themselves on the premium quality of their nut based gelatos - especially a famous Italian chain! Based PURELY on their take on “pistachio gelato” I no longer rate Badiani as a good quality gelato producer, and think it’s a really cheeky way to make money. Ice cream makes good margins. As an established company Badiani can afford to deliver a delicious, quality pistachio gelato, even with a lower margin on this flavour if need be, as the cheaper to produce flavors will subsidize the overall margins. Scammy pistachio antics really annoy me as a consumer and fellow food producer, who is committed to delivering quality items to consumers. I only came back to Badiani, as I was meeting a friend in Notting Hill and we used that as our meeting point location. The service here in Notting Hill was really poor - super hostile, such that we did not proceed to purchase at this branch and I won’t bother returning. In the end we went round the corner to a rival company. (Photos taken from the Mayfair branch where I had ordered a few days before).

This is my favourite place to sit and eat some Gelato. The staff are always friendly and helpful especially when they have new items on the menu! 5*

Not up to the standards of Badiani. Have been to this branch several times because it is close to my regular restaurant - the portion is ridiculously small compared to other branches. The seating area closed way too early during winter months - 30 minutes before closing time - not ideal to eat gelato on the street in a single digit temperature.

This is the best place for ice cream in the area! The quality and taste are top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly 🙌🏼
