This place is surreal. Such a beautiful and calm environment. The restaurant is over the sea which was mind blowing. We enjoyed our lunch. The food was very delicious. The staff was so friendly and the food was served within 10 minutes. The price was a little high but when I saw the location and tasted the food the price was so worth it.

Great setting and delicious food. The eggplant with coconut milk have a nice smoky flavor- highly recommended. The curried tofu, green mango salad are also very nice. The people we were with raved about the [sizzling]  pork Sisig, too and the chicken. To get to the restaurant you walk over a bridge with great views of the restored, healthy looking mangroves. Nice views of the bay as you dine.

If you’re in Puerto Princesa, this restaurant is definitely worth the visit—even if it’s a bit out of the way. The food is exceptional, with generous portions and a breathtaking view to match. Their seafood selections are both fresh and affordable, and the staff are incredibly accommodating and attentive. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food and a relaxing dining experience.

It’s a little bit far from the main road but it’s worth visiting. The parking area is also wide. The pathway to the restaurant is surrounded by mangroves, it’s so relaxing and it doesn’t smell bad. Majority of the tables are located at the edge so you’ll have a view of the water and the sea. We came at lunchtime and it’s very busy but they were able to accommodate and serve us well. We ordered pork kare-kare, grilled tanigue fish, and seaweed salad. All of them are delicious. The pork kare-kare is soft and the vegetables in it are fresh and crunchy. The grilled tanigue fish is cooked perfectly and very tender and flavorful. The seaweed salad is optional for those who don’t really like the taste of the ocean but you can try it and put a lot of calamansi in it and you’re good. They also serve fresh fruit shakes. We tried the buko shake and it is so refreshing. Because it’s far from the main road, you can ask the staff to call you a tricycle if you don’t have a car. Also, major credit cards are accepted here. #jezzdoit

The place looks awesome. It's by the sea so you got a great view outside. Ordered lobster here, a small one can go 1.5k. It was really good!

Google
Beautiful location with exceptionally tasty food, great service the strongest cocktails of your entire life! Beautiful place to watch the sunset in the mangroves, try and book in first because I got turned away and had to come back! It’s busy for a reason, the quality of this delicious food is fresh and vibrant!

Pork Sinigang is 10 out of 10- my moms sinigang is the best but theirs is superb also. Buttered shrimp is 8 out of 10 - not buttery lol Good place and if you are a group i suggest to book a reservation. Good service also.

This area is always packed and I have no doubt why it is like this. Because food is great, staff are professional and the ambiance is nice. The lobster is so yum!!! The tinola and fresh juice are my fav.

Yelp
This restaurant was absolutely beautiful! The food here was amazing, as well as the drinks. The servers were all very nice and helpful since we did not speak Filipino. The food also came out super fast.

Yelp
The service was amazing. One thing that's different in the Philippines from other countries when it comes to the food industry is that everyone serves the guests of the restaurant Being a seafood restaurant though the seafood seems to be all over cooked. We ordered calamares type dish, it was so chewy and overcooked, butter shrimp and seafood medley all over cooked. Grilled lapu-lapu was the only one that was not over cooked in our seafood orders We also did order some sisig and beef steak thise

Yelp
Seafood choices was many... we had crabs, shrimps, lobster, cooked very tasty and good. Attentive friendly service and beautiful ambience, with view of the low tide sea by your table

Yelp
Ate here while visiting on business. It was a little hard to find but worth the drive. We had a reservation for right at sunset and it did not disappoint. The views are gorgeous and all around the dinning room. The food and drinks were second to none. Our party had several types of fish made fresh and fork (spoon) tender. We also has a delicious dish of sisig if you don't eat fish. The fried squid (calamari) was cooked just right. Overall this spot is a must if you are in the Puerto Palawan region.

Yelp
The customer service was more memorable than the food. Now that doesn't mean that the food wasn't delicious, but all we remember is how delicious the prawns were and we ordered a lot of food. This restaurant supposedly has a beautiful view but we went for dinner so we completely missed out on the view. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere and there is a long bridge/walkway before you get inside the restaurant. It's a huge space with free wifi which is always exciting! There are mangrove trees that you pass as you walk along the bridge/walkway. The walkway itself was beautiful. We had all the intentions of coming back during lunch for the view but never got around to it, which basically equates to us going back to eat again whenever we make it back to Puerta Princesa.

Yelp
My last meal on Palawan was at the Badjao Seafront Restaurant. This restaurant sits literally on the water. It has really good views and pretty good food. The path to dining area runs through a mangrove forest, and you can see fish swimming around the roots, which is really cool. The dining area has excellent views of the ocean, and the sea breeze keeps the outdoor dining room at a comfortable temperature. Badjao has a few set meals, and we picked two of them for our group of 8. We got fried okra, fish spring rolls, seafood kare-kare, chili squid, adobo squid, lechon kawali, sinigang na jipon, binagoongan, and grilled fish. They were all excellently prepared, but my favorite was definitely the seafood kare-kare. It had a lot of peanut butter flavor and chunks of fish. It went especially well with the binagoongan. The gorgeous views and good views make this a great place to visit, but it might be hard to see the views if you go at night.

Yelp
Fresh seafood cooked to perfection, great service, a beautiful locale and spectacular view... What else can I say? I've only eaten here once, but I loved it. It's tucked out of the way and not easy to find on your own, so take a cab or trike if you want to get there in a timely manner (remember, though Puerto Princessa has a small population, the actual acreage of the city is enormous: it's very easy to get lost). One other thing that makes this place interesting, exciting and just a little scary is the sign at the bridge entrance warning people to stay out of the mangroves surrounding the restaurant, as they are full of cobras. Other than that, bon apetit!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant surrounded by a mangrove forest overlooking the water. Very spacious and plenty of room going there on a Friday at lunch time. The water around the restaurant is so calm and there are tables all around the side that they fill up first. They sell the crab, prawns, and lobster by the grams. They didn't have any lobster left when we went. We got 300 grams of crabs and prawn steamed with garlic. The flavor was great. We also got clam soup, which was amazing!!!! We also got a cauliflower dish with beef. The beef was a bit chewy but the cauliflower was good. It was cooked with cornstarch so it had a slight gooey soupy texture to it. I ordered a mango smoothie (green mango was not in season) and it tasted good but the sugar didn't mix through so I kept getting sugar granules. The menu is extensive...there is a lot to order there and everything is fresh and cheap. If you need a taxi let the waiters know. They charge a fee for it but it's easier to get one without walking all the way outside to hail one. Do beware that the taxi itself will also charge a fee for being called...which I didn't understand.

Yelp
When I asked the locals around Puerto Princessa for a seafood restaurant recommendation, this was where I was directed. The area is a very secluded and about 15 mins from the heart of the city. The restaurant is built right over the water and would be very pretty during high tide. Unfortunately, due to our own lack of research, we arrived there at low tide. With low tide, comes the smell, the insects, and the unpleasant smell. We ordered: Butter garlic lobster, grilled squid, spicy prawns and canton (noodles). Overall the food was decent and would normal deserve 3.5 stars. However, the reason why I'm giving this a one star is because of one dish. That dish was the prawns. The prawns I received were not fresh and had been dead for quite sometime. The meat was failing apart and mushy. As a seafood restaurant, you should pride yourself on the freshness and quality of your seafood. This was very disappointing.

Yelp
Restaurant is out of the way. When you go, make sure to have your tricycle wait for you. I went for dinner and the road to the restaurant was dark. The trip to and from was a bit scary. The ambiance is casual and Al Fresco. The seafood was very, very fresh and delicious. This restaurant is worth a visit.

Yelp
Badjao Seafront Restaurant is one to remember! My family and I made reservations before the sunset. We got such a great view. The food also was great we had a set meal that came with eggplant, crab, squid, rice, fish and more. It was so filling! Too much food for 3 people. We ended up giving our leftovers to our tricycle driver :) It is a must try restaurant when you travel to Puerto Princesa.

Yelp
Theres alot of food variety from seafood or not. Taste okay. Presentation ordinary. Ambiance is very nice. It feels cool even if he weather is hot. There's a lot of fan all over. Feels like theres AC somewhere. Theres a acoustic duo when we had our dinner. Clean surroundings. Pricey. We dine in 18 people. We ended ordering and paying about 7k.

Yelp
Locals highly recommended this place so we went here. The waiter said their shrimp and samaral (fish) were small but the price was so affordable so we ordered it. Apparently their standards are kinda high. They were actually big! And yummy! The clam soup single serving was P25 each. Who wouldn't go for that? The meat was as big as the shells and were absolutely fresh. The spicy lobster was okay but not as spicy as I expected. They were served a bit cold however. Hopefully next time they serve them as soon as they are cooked. Their location is a bit farther from the major dining areas but it's worth the travel. Will definitely come back!

Yelp
We heard about this place from a couple on our Honda Bay tour. So since our flight was in the evening we decided to have lunch there. First let me tell you that the views from every table was spectacular. It had a large menu and the taste was great. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Every inch of this place is beautiful. Aside from the mangroves, you can see the fish swimming through the water surrounding this restaurant. Bought everything on the menu here. The quality, taste, and price is pretty amazing. Fresh seafood that is inexpensive. I'll tell you, you won't find this in America.

Yelp
Great food to finish a fun filled trip to the PI! Will definitely come back here to enjoy the food and ambiance.

Yelp
Restaurant has a great view, too bad it was cloudy when we went there for dinner, no sunset to be seen. Food is great, friendly and helpful staff. It was worth the trip via tricycle.

Yelp
They don't know how to grill fish.. they need to send the chefs to some other asian countries where they prepare excellent seafood with same ingredients.

Yelp
Service was very very very bad; food was mediocre at best; we had lunch at KaLui yesterday and service was AMAZING and food quality and taste was stupendous. I heard that Badjao was romantic during sunset, perhaps it is; I arrived at about 8 PM; to finish the night, we asked our waiter to change a 500 PHP bill into smaller bills, he came back saying that they didn't have smaller bills, which was pure hog wash; not sure why so many seem to think it is a great place, I will never return nor recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
The food was exceptional in this place. However, for how empty the restaurant was when we came, the food took excruciatingly long with very unfriendly service. They came to take the order and serve the food. That's it. Anything in between took some hunting for employees and dirty looks. The view was spectacular however. 4 stars for food. 1 for service.

Yelp
This little hidden Jem was introduced to us by our tricycle driver! We wanted to have an early dinner and he suggested this place. As we pulled up, I was a bit skeptical.008 but was pleasantly surprised when we walked past the mangroves and into the dining area. Great open space right on the water with great views of the mountains. Had the beef with mushroom sauce and licked the plate clean! There is seafood and well as vegetarian dishes available. WIFI was excellent! Prices are great. Was told this place books up for dinner so a reservation might be needed during dinner hours.

Yelp
Badjao is a MUST go restaurant in Puerto Princesa. The food is excellent and price is perfect for a small budget.
