My last meal on Palawan was at the Badjao Seafront Restaurant. This restaurant sits literally on the water. It has really good views and pretty good food. The path to dining area runs through a mangrove forest, and you can see fish swimming around the roots, which is really cool. The dining area has excellent views of the ocean, and the sea breeze keeps the outdoor dining room at a comfortable temperature.
Badjao has a few set meals, and we picked two of them for our group of 8. We got fried okra, fish spring rolls, seafood kare-kare, chili squid, adobo squid, lechon kawali, sinigang na jipon, binagoongan, and grilled fish. They were all excellently prepared, but my favorite was definitely the seafood kare-kare. It had a lot of peanut butter flavor and chunks of fish. It went especially well with the binagoongan.
The gorgeous views and good views make this a great place to visit, but it might be hard to see the views if you go at night.
