Restaurant Closings in the San Francisco Bay Area | Eater SF
"A longtime Castro gay bar that dated back to a 1975 brunch-and-dinner origin and had been serving sweaty crowds since 2000, Badlands has closed for good amid a history of allegations of racism (including a 2005 Human Rights Commission investigation); the owner noted that a new bar under new ownership will open in the Badlands location later this fall." - Eve Batey
Gotta be the coolest golf boutique in America, love all the brands they stock. Even better customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong size of a shirt and was worried I wouldn’t be able to exchange it. I emailed them, and DJ hopped right on it to help me out. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience with an online purchase. I’m sure in person is that much better.

Clean, well-curated shop with a modern golf vibe. The selection hits. Love the Malbon and Macade pieces. Easy five stars for quality, fit guidance, and a smooth in-store experience.

Badlands is fire! I get all my higher end golf gear there. So many new brands. Staff is super friendly too. DJ has hooked it up every time I’ve been in there. Simulator is high quality as well.

So glad I found out about this place from a friend. He has all the golf brands you can’t find at other stores. Malbon, eastside golf, etc. great selection of shoes too that you don’t typically see elsewhere. Really good dude that runs it.

Badlands is top tier / all class when it comes to the shopping experience and making you feel “at home”. Love that Jersey now has a safe space for all walks of golf mixing into lifestyle. You won’t be disappointed when visiting the shop. Support local and get to know the community behind the scenes!

I’m not one to thank my wife for shopping but this one time I was ok with it. With some great help at the store she picked out some nice new swag that even impressed our sons - apparently I have some “rizz” now; whatever that means.
Very happy
Highly recommended and clearly not a store just for golfers because I’m definitely not one.

Badlands is an awesome addition to 1st Ave, super friendly vibe and always worth a stop to check out the latest gear. Love the mix of lifestyle golf apparel, shoes, and accessories. Always something new to discover
