Badland's is one of my favorite bars in town! The staff is very friendly and I never have to ask what I want to drink as they already know what I like. They take the time to get to know their patrons! Gaming is good there as well. The drag shows are good, I just wish that they had more variety. But over all love this place!

No food, but you can Uber eats or doordash food here. Great chill relaxing atmosphere. The bartenders are really knowledgeable about the drinks and one of the best Micheladas in town. Has weekly events, dance floor, 15 gaming machines, and the Green Door near by if that's what you're into. LGBTQIA+ Bar, everyone is welcome.

Thursday Trivia night!!! We're here every Thursday for trivia night at 7pm. Buy 1 get 1 drinks till 8pm is a great deal and the trivia is so much fun. They have a good selection of draft beers and their bartenders are super friendly. It's also Saloon themed which makes it even better!

I came to las vegas for my birthday and I wanted to try out the bad lands bar. Lou was the bartender and he was very kind as everyone in the bar. They have daily drink specials from twelve until eight that are unbeatable. It's an absolutely must try if you're in the area of Las Las Vegas

They advertised Oscar's. And that didn't happen. Raffles prizes? What was that?Absolutely disgusting display from Travis "the manager". Snotty, gross display. If this is your manager the community can use less of that. Tried to support since this place was in need of a rescue in the past, but seems this place can't be saved. Ick. Let me add that before I realized he was the manager he was drinking on the outside of the bar. When there was a complaint he hopped behind the bar and decided to act the part of manager. What is that?

Chill bar with great bartenders and service. Love the weekend drag shows with Axiom. Highly recommend!

Badlands is an amazing bar that has the best staff bar none!! It is welcoming and accepting of all life styles. Chris and Calman on the swing shift (or as I like to call it the man bun shift) keep it entertaining and your glass is never empty. Vince and Luther who are day shift are extremely accommodating and make a killer drink. Only bar I have ever been to that every bartender makes a great drink. And if you need a laugh go on Adams shift to hear his infectious laugh. Great job Badlands you never disappoint me. Thank you.

Great place, great drinks and amazing bartenders. Even better the regulars are welcoming and funny and accepting. Look for a regular at the end of the bar by the name of Dawn she is a party in a glass. We were going to leave , got married in Vegas last week. When she sat down the atmosphere changed for even better and she is funny and very informative. Don't miss this place or Dawn next time your in Vegas .

This bar is open 24 hours a day, and I didn't know this until today? So. Awesome. Apparently Badlands is under new ownership (no idea what that means), but the bartenders are still kickass. Shout-outs to David (our Pikachu), Scott (thanks for handling my shot), and Tony (for also putting up with us). Solid music, TVs, live performances, and easy parking makes Badlands part of my Vegas pilgrimages, and should be part of any local's bar rotations.

I've only had great experiences here. The crowd varies from 20-somethings and up. It's a few miles from the strip and the Fruit Loop, but don't count this bar out. I first learned of this establishment from seeing its makeover on a certain reality show. However after getting some tea, found out that they were fine without the series and that showrunner is all about the clout and not so much about caring for the LGBTQ+ community at large. Buuuut I digress, a huge compliment to Travis, Kalman and Ben for always being so gracious and welcoming. Hope to be back again soon for more drinks, good music, vibes and conversation!

I went and sat at the bar and sat and sat while the bar tender was BS ing with his buddies at the far end I told him he sucked as a bartender and he threw me out. Did me a favor. Crap service and crap attitude Plenty bars to take my money

My first ever coming here . And it was on Valentine's Day I didn't have a date . And my friends Bailed on me . So I ended up being here alone . But to my surprise. There was great music and entertainment . So instead of leaving because I was alone . I felt very welcome and warm here. I'll be back forsure .

How awesome is it to go into a bar and just have a social gathering with sport friends, and that the br be so accommodating out of their own pocket to help provide food and snacks to serve to their crowd just because! That was the highlight of my day!

This is one of my favorite bar to go to. Easy going not too expensive, the staff is genuinely nice. Not to busy not to quiet.

I hadn't been to Badlands in years, but was in town last week for business and some local friends took me by for a drink. The new look is great, by far the classiest gay bar in Vegas. And the bartender was making creative drinks for us to try, which was really fun. Wonderful evening! Thank you!

It's a decent place to hang out minus the riff raff that walks in off the streets however not their fault. One thing that is, is that horrendous Showtunes every dang Sunday! About 4 - 6 hours of old stuff that isn't even showtunes and it's just miserable! Why not do it on another day or never again! Perfect location to make something great out of this place but a geriatric bar isn't working. I wish they'd move it into the 21st century!

Let me start off by saying that VICTOR made our experience amazing! I haven't stop talking about him and His great customer service. The drinks were great, fast, And he kept checking up on us. It was quiet at first, people started showing up for the performance which was worth the wait. I like how the performers were interactive and made us part of the performance. Once again thank you Victor!

Travis ALWAYS remembers my drink preferences, and I met him @ escape lounge 10 years ago! Luther and Ewreck always give great service, and phenomenal cocktails!!!! Luther's bingo on Monday's have always been fun, even with the covid restrictions. Saf e, AND fun!!! Tommy just won $300 on the machine! (Slightly jealous, lol) They carry Rumchatta...=+, But I hope they carry Crown Royal Peach soon.... Otherwise, 9 out of 10!!!!!

Wholeheartedly loved the vibes there. I went for Lilith Ladies Night and it was such a fun time. The bartenders also make good recs.

I love this bar for it's laid back vibe. Everyone is welcome! Been coming and spending way too much for years! They do have a new bartender in the AM who is extremely rude and told me I would get "beat up" and won't hand drinks to me... probably worst customer service I've had even after apologizing for preconceived slights. Not a nice person and turned the juke box off which cost me $20. Avoid him. But all of the others are great.

I hesitate to even post this. i never want to potentially harm somebody working or harm a venues reputation, however... my friends and I went for an event to support the lgbtq community and we're having a great time. We have all worked service industry in one capacity or another and we are always patient. that being said, the bartender was alone and it was busy. understandably, there was quite the wait time. No worries. What is unacceptable is when the bartender is so overwhelmed he starts screaming at women. Its one thing to be an asshole to the bartender, it's another to be assertive and simply repeat your order because it was incorrect. Under no circumstances is it okay to call a woman a fucking cunt for politely asking for the correct drink. I was asked to go to the bar and try and mediate, thinking there was a misunderstanding. immediately the bartender informs me that my friends and I are really nice but he won't be serving us again because my friend, and I quote "is a fucking bitch, a fucking cunt, he's done, get the fuck out." no problem. Again, thinking maybe there was a break down in communication somewhere, we wait for our rides and leave. only to find another group of women that were treated the same way, simply for asking for the correct order after not receiving it the first time they asked. staff your bar correctly for events. perhaps your employees won't be stressed to the poiby of calling women bitches and cunts. Unacceptable. what started out as a great night was ruined. We had all discussed how much we enjoyed it there and now won't be back. I know we are a handful of people and in the grand scheme of things don't matter.But, as someone with 15 years experience in food and beverage and hospitality, I can honestly say there is no excuse. I have never left a bad review for a bartender until now.

They are always very nice and it's good food especially when I need something during a night out. Lol. Always great people there with great energy!

My husband and I came here for a drink some years back. After doing a quick search of things to do while we are in Vegas, there was a show going on this past Saturday night called the Neon Rabbit. We decided to stop by. First of all, everyone from the bartenders to the patrons are the sweetest! We felt so welcome here. There were some friendly patrons making sure we got close to the bar to order drinks and after our first order the bartender remembered and was quick to keep them coming. He advised where the stage was and we were able to commit to a table with a great view. Prior to show the music was Poppin! It was such a variety of pop, RnB and even some K-Pop as well as some classics. I was ready to dance! The Neon Rabbit show started somewhere around 11 and features a variety of performers and a few singers showing their best skills. The host Jocelyn was lovely and entertaining as well. She knew when to crack a joke or be sarcastic but still a sweetheart or engage the crowd. It was a great time and we can't wait to go back visit again.

This bar is so OG. Tons of memories here and so many great nights. The service is outstanding, the bar is fun, Stevie and Eric are the best, hope you have the pleasure of their service.

The drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders are friendly. The only reason I didn't rate five stars is because the music wasn't great the night I was there. When you first walk in, there's the bar and some high top tables. I'm the back, they have a couple tables and a dance floor, including a little stage. The DJ is in the back corner by the stage. Happy hour 9pm-1am on weekends I think. They had an advertisement on one of the tables for special events. After looking at the photos on here, it looks like they have a lot of fun events.

They supposedly remodeled the place but it looks worse. Kinda like when you put lipstick on a monkey. The new owners don't allow cigars not even during their failed leather night with Latino music. I can see this becoming the next Backdoor. The place totally sucks.

Such an awesome vibe! When you go, please ask for Jason the bartender, he makes the best drinks and he's super friendly! We will definitely be back! This place is perfect for locals and visitors!

We have visited a few times. Nice atmosphere. Nice gaming options on bar tops. Videos and music playing. There is a buy one get one for $1.00 before 8 pm so that is nice. Good lighting inside. Not quite as lively as the Garage Bar but still worth a visit when you are in the neighborhood.

A bunch of us went out one night and ended up here. This place was cool. None of us felt uncomfortable or unwelcome here. The bartender was great and made some really good drinks better than most bar drinks! They are priced good as well! Many Straight people come here and you do not have to feel like you are at the wrong bar. It was a fun time while we were there, Just like your in a local bar hanging out with your friends. Great music as well! It is located off Sahara where a bunch of great restaurants are as well and other businesses. Thanks for making everyone feel welcome here!!

I love the bar, the staff, the drinks and the clientele. I would go more often if it were not so smoky on busy nights. Don't get me wrong, I've had a great experience every time I have gone to Badlands, just don't like walking out of there smelling like smoke.

If you're looking for a dive bar this place delivers! This is the place where Law and Order SVU gets their ideas for next week episode. This is the place where dreams go to die.

It should be called bad service. If you're not a regular that's what you get. I waited and waited for a refill on a bottled beer while the bartender checked on the regulars and mixed their drinks. An off duty bartender (employee) was next to me & was being served drinks without putting up a cent while I waited (the paying customer). Take the trip to Fun Hog Ranch where you get greeted and served professionally by their staff & don't need a membership card.

Jason was a great bartender! The atmosphere and drinks were very good and the price was even better, definitely recommend for locals and visitors!

Drinks were great priced, bartenders knew their stuff, were super sweet and on top of everything. The drag show was great and pretty long, we arrived late and able to still enjoy and tip some queens. Highly recommend this place.

Went to Badlands and as soon as this gurl walked in the door, she was treated like a queen. A handsome patron (who I later found out was hammered, and having a phone fight with his wife about stopping off for drinks), gave me a big hug, bought me my first drink, and escorted me to a place at the bar in the middle of his friends. What fun! Badlands is a local's bar that seems to have a proud gay heritage with a welcoming attitude. A good mix of people to talk to and laugh with. It's a saloon with a def western feel. So here is "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" (with apologies to Sergio Leone). The Good - friendly, local patrons that interact! Cute straight ladies complimented my look several times, danced with a cowboy, got video poker tips from my bar mates, which bathroom to use advice from the bartender, and friendly conversation with so many people. Rock solid! The Bad - It's Vegas and it seems like everyone chain smokes. Expect to stink at the end of the night. But hey, it's worth it. The Ugly - rookie bartender for the first few hours. He did fine, but was a little confused at times. I taught him how to make a Manhattan, and he kept them coming all night. So not so ugly after all. All evenings have to end, and mine did after the super good drag show. Badlands is must when you are in Vegas. So have fun, tip well, and be safe!

Red wine comes from those mini plastic twist off for $4, I had three. When you walk in the place is pretty small at first but then you realize towards the back there is a pool table, a dance floor and booths. I played billiard for .50¢ in quarters but not that long into the game the cue ball got stuck after a friend scratched. I made the bartender Cory aware but since it was busy all he said was to reset the table by putting all the balls back in the table which we did but the cue ball never came out. Eventually we started using other balls as cue substitutes until scratching became the game.

We enjoyed Badlands. Don, one of the owners was very welcoming. Service very good - bartender was attentive without becoming obnoxious and cute! Plenty of parking.

Nice, laid back joint with cheap drinks and friendly bartenders. This place is hidden in a strip mall, away from the traffic (cars and people).

This review is based on my last visit in February 2019... I had not been in the bar since being terminated from my position as D.J. over a year earlier. My best friend from LA was visiting and I suggested we check it out since it was now under new ownership and management. Upon sitting at the bar I was recognized by bartender Cody who then ignored both me and my friend for the rest of our stay, which was not long. I doubt I'll darken their threshold with my shadow again anytime soon. Dollars are votes... and I vote for other establishments that make me feel welcome. And to add more shame to their tactics, a good friend of mine and loyal regular has been 86'd for requesting that management look into her being overcharged.

This is a great bar if you just want to stop in to a nice dark room, have a beverage, and watch music videos or play poker. The bartenders are super friendly-- they say a personal hello when you walk through the saloon doors. Crowd is gay and friendly but it seems like anyone can come here given that the straight bathhouse is next door and the bathhouse overflow ends up here. Drinks are strong and big. Nice place to chill and people watch or participate, whatever you want.

It's not bad; friendly 2 floor Bar with a cool dance floor, efficient bar tenders. Not a fan of the DJ who played on the night we were there. Prefer Faces; variety.

I don't know if it's appropriate or not as one the hosts willing to spray some whip cream on his nipple OR in your mouth and you will either lick his nipple or he will lick the cream off your mouth. I saw a man act like being forced to play along and has to spit out the whip cream afterward. In my opinion they should set some boundaries to aware that customer willing to be comfortably enjoy this kind of entertainment or not. Other than that drinks is very affordable.

Really fun, small bar. Great drinks, friendly staff and one of the best drag shows that I have seen in a long time! I definitely recommend for that small, cozy local bar feeling!

I would like it to be known that the Badlands bar on Sahara is one of the most unprofessional places I've ever been unless you're a transgender prostitute selling your ass they will not greet you with warm welcome at all I had been to the Badlands a few times with my wife we are two female's Monday October 18th I decided to bring two other females my best friend and her wife that was probably the worst decision I could have made upon entering the establishment the bartender looked at us and basically said you better have your mask on or get out by the way just so everyone's aware no one in that establishment was wearing a mask standing or sitting he had the worst Queen dick attitude you could imagine and the fact that we are for females two of which resemble men you could imagine our surprise when we were treated as such I have rainbow colored nails on right now that I paid a pretty penny for my friends and I were treated like trash and garbage by the bartender and staff any other time I've been there both bartenders that I've met were amazing kalman and Devin you guys rock but we accepted his attitude and put our mask on and went and sat down I ordered one drink per person and went to the back of the bar my wife and I decided to go get a second drink and on our way up we wore masks but I stopped and talked to Calmen the bartender on my way back to my seat a gentleman that described himself as the owner/supervisor was drunk and belligerent at the end of the bar me being a female was taken back by his rude construction worker comments slurred and blurred at me as a female getting talked to like that by a man is inappropriate no matter how much of a twink you are or want to be anyway my wife and my best friend politely told him to stop talking to me like that and they wanted to get all crazy with us telling me I had a dick and yelling rude profane slurs at us when we were literally just telling him don't talk to me like that you're not at work you don't need to speak to us you which decided he wanted us kicked out caught up but behind the bar drunk by the way and told us you have to be seated if you want to not have your mask on the CDC does not say anything about sitting down wearing a mask or standing wearing a mask the coronavirus is not going to get stopped by if I'm standing or sitting I've literally call people sucking each other off for money in that bathroom I doubt that's going to stop the covid right? which almost ended in a gigantic bar fight me and my four friends just did about 20 years in prison together we're not on parole don't worry but nonetheless the fact that someone that claimed to be the manager/owner is sitting behind a bar drunk at his own establishment quote un quote is actually terms for disciplinary actually taken with their gaming license section 5.011 by the way also also section 5.013 and as someone that has a very high ranking family member in the MGM mirage corporation for the last 35 years I can guarantee you that's a real thing also as a adult entertainment star I'm going to let you know right now that when avn comes around this will not be a recommended bar and one of my friends that you kicked out was also a manager at multiple of the Hilton's hotel chain not only that my wife is a head chef with one of the restaurants here in town that has their own TV show you guys should be really careful about who you let run and operate your establishment when that's the type of people that they are drunk and disorderly at their own establishment challenging four females to a fight as a male not only that you don't know who you're kicking out you don't know who you're trying to fight also not only is it four females four people that have been to the penitentiary and then also four people that very good rank in our own current jobs and have a lot of say and a lot of things sometimes you better bite your tongue because one day you're going to kick the wrong people out you're going to talk wrong to the wrong person's wife again and you don't know that that person or all four people are active gang members or quality members of this community or maybe both
