Great hot dogs. However these hot dogs are everywhere. Don't get too concerned about buying these from any specific place they taste the same everywhere. Highly recommend just buying one from a gas station it will be much faster.

It was our first day in Iceland and first time having their famous hotdogs, and Susanna was so friendly and patient in explaining the options to me. I was not prepared for carrying 6 hotdogs away but she managed to find some wrappings and helped me buy a bag from the store to be able to carry everything out in tact. She went above and beyond and it was such a great first experience in Iceland! I hope management sees how great she is!

Said to be the most famous restaurant in town. Why? Because Bill Clinton ate here and proclaimed that it was the best hot dog he ever had. It’s not bad. It’s beef, pork and lamb mixed together. Toppings are onions, fried onions, mustard or ketchup or all of the above.

The famous Bæjarins Betzu Pylsur is located inside of the 1011 Supermarket next to the Sbarro. It is a quaint little place for fast hot dogs.

I was very excited to try these as I read a lot about these famous icelandic hot dogs at this place. They were good, different from what we get in the US, made of lamb, pork and beef. We tried with all the toppings!
