Bae’s Bakery

Ordered a birthday cake for myself from here. It was my first time ordering, but I wanted to try and see how I liked it. Ordering was extremely easy and no trouble at all. Service has been incredibly friendly. Pick up was a breeze with absolutely no issues at all. Staff was sweet (pun intended) and I was greeted and assisted quickly. I asked for a baseball themed almond cake with buttercream and dark green writing. I wasn’t able to cut into my cake immediately after getting home, but I was able to a couple of hours later. It is delicious! The cake itself is not overly sweet, but moist and flavorful. The frosting is smooth, not grainy or chunky. Absolutely delicious cake and I will order for them again! I can’t say anything bad about my first experience with Baes Bakery but I will be back for my next birthday cake!

Our wedding cakes were amazing, thanks to Baes Bakery. Not only did they taste and look amazing, but the team was professional and timely from start to finish. I highly recommend for weddings!!!

Bae's did a phenomenal job on our wedding cake. From the minute we met with the owner, until the night of the wedding, I was beyond happy with everything! The cake looked and tasted absolutely amazing! she took my vision and executed perfectly! Also, my husband's grooms cake was a hit! It look great and tasted even greater according to all of my chocolate lovers! I cannot wait for the next cake I need so I can get another Bae's cake!!!

The cake flavor was pretty good, the chocolate buttercream icing was way too sweet that everyone scraped it off. We ordered a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream 6” tall. When my mom picked up the cake, it was in the box backwards which was weird?? She didn’t think about it because she was more concerned that it was in a box that didn’t close. Seems like a bakery should have boxes for their regular size cakes. The employee showed her the cake prior to giving it to her but held it up high as if she was hiding something and then quickly taped it up. When she brought the cake home (right around the corner) and I saw it, I turned it around and there was a huge bump on the outside of the cake! ON THE FRONT! No wonder they had it in the box backwards, it seems as if it was purposely hidden. It was too expensive for having that big bump on the front.

The bakery itself is very nice, the service was exceptional but the cake was outstanding in every way! The likeness to my son & his fiancé's dog was incredible. And to top it off the cake was DELICIOUS-what more can I say? Can't wait till I need another one!!!

Ordered a cake for my daughter’s 13th birthday, who loves cake but has a nut allergy. The wonderful staff at Bae’s offered to order yellow cake mix since the other preferred flavors have almond extract mixed in! The cake was moist, delicious and designed perfectly! From ordering the cake to pick-up, the staff were friendly and very helpful!

Amazing service! They happily agreed to fulfill my order even though I was really last minute with my request. The ordering via text and payment is so convenient and easy. My bouquets of cake pops and chocolate covered Oreos were a hit….such a cute and unique gift!

Bae's made my daughter's wedding cake and the groom's cake. White cake w/strawberry filling and chocolate cake w/cookies and cream filling. It was beautiful and delicious. Staff were very friendly.

Wowza! Just LOOK at the cakes they post! Sheer art for sure! I can't wait to TASTE one:) These people are artists with food!!!

First time here, omg everything looks delicious! I brought a few sweet treats to try, so yummy. Definitely coming back to try more desserts.

I'm writing this review from the couch, where I've been involuntarily relocated after eating the entire praline and cream king cake from Bae's Bakers. Flaky, buttery dough, gooey praline filling, and a hint of cream cheese frosting... I'm talkin' zero self-control, eat-the-whole-thing-in-one-sitting, cry-yourself-to-sleep-because-it's-all-gone levels of obsession. You have to try it to experience it!

While driving around old Gretna, I noticed this cute little store front and wanted to stop right then and there but I was on my way too lunch. And when I mentioned it to my lunch companion, she had noticed it too so after yummy lunch, we immediately headed back over. The first thing you notice is how very delicious the shop smells and while it's an older storefront, the inside is super clean and modern. The display cases were full and I could not make up my mind. So I bought mini cannoli (perfection and not terribly sweet), chocolate chip cookies (delicious and sugar free ones were available too) and an assortment of macarons (gorgeous and tasty). My friends got the cheesecake cups and were raving about those. Staff was great and friendly. Parking is on the street.

Popped into Bae's just to look and walked away with soooooo much. Beautiful variety of goods. A little something for everyone's taste. Not only was everything so beautiful and beautifully displayed, it was also super yummy. My fav was the lemon tart dessert, but I really like lemon so I may be a tad biased. Street parking only and soooo worth the trip there.

Love this bakery! Besides having delicious baked goods they are fabulous to work with on any special orders you need!

I have had several cakes and other goodies from Bae's. i love the fact that you can just drop in and find something delicious to pickup. A great addition to Old Gretna.
