I’ve had Bafang Dumplings at a number of locations in US and in Taiwan. I am excited that they opened on closer to me. In terms of food in comparison to other Bafang, it’s pretty consistent. As far as service, it’s slow and lack the efficiency I’ve seen at other US locations and of course it’s no comparison to locations in Taiwan. Decor and store atmosphere wise, it’s much better than Taiwan locations. I can tell that the store owner put in a lot of effort. I would like to see this store prosper but only if store manager put in some effort.

Went here over the summer and was pretty surprised with the food! The signature noodles were definitely the highlight of my meal along with the wonton soup. Everything was good until i found a tiny metal wire in my dumpling. Would come back again though.

12/2024 Ordered Combo 1 (12 signature potstickers and hot and sour soup), Combo 5 (12 signature dumplings and corn chowder soup), 12 corn and chicken dumplings, and 12 corn and chicken potstickers. Overall a great tasty range of options. Their signature potstickers and dumplings have pork and cabbage in them. I think the signature ones are the way to go. The Corn and Chicken are pretty good too in their own way, a bit sweeter thanks to the corn. Service here was fairly quick, and the place was brightly lit with just enough seats for a few small groups. The walls tell the story of Bafang with well designed artwork and colors. Parking here can be a challenge, there is an underground parking lot behind this plaza that still has just enough spots to accommodate customers for all stores in this area. 04/2024 Ordered the Number 1 combo which has 12 potsticker dumplings and choice of hot and sour soup, tea, or x. I chose the hot and sour soup which was very refreshing and served hot. There is a sauce area to the side if you would like to make your own sauce out of vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce, and garlic. And complimentary water cups too. Not a lot of interior seating but most people seem to be ordering to go. Parking in this plaza can get very busy above ground so enter the underground parking for more spots though they are a bit tight.

Google
First of all, I’m Taiwanese so I know how everything should taste like. Food is great but the service is really bad. I ordered 12 potstickers to go and it ends up only 6 potstickers. The chili fried chicken has no sauce for both, so it’s not like they forgot to put it in, they simply just don’t care. I paid $31 for what?! 6 potstickers and 2 chili chicken with no sauce…. Very disappointing.

Google
Does it worth 7 hours of driving? I guess so, it’s pretty tasty and the ingredients are fresh. I like the original flavor potstickers. Combo +1.75, which is a pretty good deal. Other dumplings are just above average. I won’t spend my carb quota on those unless I live nearby.

Google
Came on their soft opening week. This temple city location is a very small restaurant, which only has 4 tables, and are currently only doing takeouts. Meaning you can eat there if you can find a table, but your food will be given in to-go containers. Not very eco-friendly IMO. Service was fast but could be more friendly. Good thing the flavors are authentic, but I wish they had more options for drinks (did not see drink choices on the overhead menu). To sum up, I prefer their RH location better!

Google
Great food, good prices. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and was able to use the kiosk. The wait time was short and the service was good. The guy handing me my food was very polite and friendly. I really like how this place is also kind of self service so it's great for people who just want a quiet lunch to themselves. The restaurant was clean.

Google
Yum!! Stopped in to check out the new dumpling place in town and learned that I was already late to the game. Camellia Square always seems busy, so don't expect to drive up and find a parking spot waiting for you. Bafang Dumplings is doing quite a business just a few weeks after opening. We arrived and the tables inside were all full, but there was no line. By the time we finished placing our order, there was a line out the door. Pro tip: Order online! We took our food home and it was delicious! We tried the original potstickers, original dumplings and sesame noodles. Can't wait to go back and try and few more options!

Natalie N.

Yelp
I've been seeing bafang all over social media and I gave it a try and it was so good! Dumplings were crispy and the corn soup was so flavorful! Definitely coming back for the dumplings and soup! FYI there's frozen bags of dumplings you can buy! I like to put it in my hotpot at home

Yelp
I recently stopped by Bafang Dumpling, and while it wasn't terrible, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The experience started off on a frustrating note. Despite being the only ones in line, we had to wait about five minutes before anyone took our order, even though the staff clearly saw us. After placing the order, it took another 20 minutes to get our food. Not sure why it takes that long for 12 potstickers and a soup. However, it's still salvageable if the food is great... I ordered the signature potstickers and the hot and sour soup combo. The potstickers were good but not spectacular, and considering the steep price, I didn't feel they were worth it. On the other hand, the hot and sour soup was a standout. I enjoyed it more than the potstickers. It was flavored to my liking and not too salty like other places where I've tried this soup. Overall, the service was slow, and the food didn't justify the price. I wouldn't go out of my way to return, as it felt overhyped and overpriced for what it is.

Tiffany S.

Yelp
開口鍋貼 or these long "open mouth"/un-pleated potstickers always remind me of Taiwan. I mean, these are genius because you get more crispy surface area. Also, they're way less intensive to make. I ordered to-go. I got their combo with the potstickers+corn soup. The corn soup was nothing to write home about - a little too sweet, a little too watery. Next time, I'll get the hot & sour soup. I ate the potstickers completely soy sauce-less/hot sauce-less and found them to be flavorful and tasty. Also despite ordering to-go, these stayed crispy!

Katherine N.

Yelp
From what I remember, it wasn't the most extraordinary dish I've had, but the portion of the bowl was huge imo. I had ordered the new malatang and their fried dumplings. I thought the dumplings were delicious but their new malatang was just mediocre imo, in my taste. It was self serve with the different sauces, after your order comes out. There was no table service. Order, pick-up, eat and leave. Simple. Thanks BaBafang Dumpling for the good service.

Richard O.

Yelp
The beef noodles soup and the kimchi dumplings are excellent. I discovered this place because of my yelp friend Cindy. She was right, this place rules.

Yelp
Bafang Dumplings is famous in Taiwan. Pretty much a household name. The Dumplings are not too expensive here. You could get a combination of both potstickers and wonton Soup for around $12.00. They have different combos to choose from. You may order through the kiosk or if somebody is available to take your order. They seem a bit short handed bebecause the person taking the order also works in the kitchen. I don't believe their food is freshly made. But instead frozen. You can taste it, and also kinda see what they're doing in the back kitchen area. Yes, steaming, frying, opening packages, mixing, etc. They probably have a logistics system where pre-made food are delivered. But the food here is pretty good and affordable if you order take out. Of course you may eat inside as well just like a fast food place. It's all self-serving. I wish the food would be made sooner since it's considered fast food. I waited about twenty minutes. That's why I think they might be understaffed on weekends. Luckily, they are located in a plaza, where you may walk around looking in other stores. A very simple food to go place that makes good dumplings. Very casual. Will be back since it's convenient for me.

Calla Y.

Yelp
For what it's worth, it is a bit on the pricier side, but I really enjoyed the 12 combo with soup--it was hearty and satisfying. The pork chop was also delicious and cooked just right - though I wish it was hotter. The turnaround time for food is about 10 minutes, which is great when you're hungry. Just a note that seating is limited, with only about 2-3 round tables, so it can get a bit crowded. The parking lot is free and easily accessible, making it convenient to visit. I also liked that the sauce is grab-your-own style; the garlic sauce was a personal favorite

Lily W.

Yelp
Went to the City of Industry location and enjoyed the food there so I was happy there is one closer to me now. Parking can sometimes be a little hard to find especially during Friday and Saturday night and it's smaller than the City of Industry location but food wise, they are pretty similar. I love getting their corn & chicken potstickers and dumplings. I recommend their garlic sauce. Pairs so well with all their potstickers and dumplings! I also really like their signature and spicy mala noodles. Really flavorful and the noodles have the perfect chewiness to them. I like how they also have combo meals so you can try different items at a discounted price.

Magda N.

Yelp
Taiwanese beef noodle soup is good. The priciest item on the menu. The other noodles are on the cheap side, no meat. My brother doesn't like the signature flavor, combo of sesame and mala, but he likes the dry beef noodle. We usually have the signature potsticker. Basic, pork and cabbage. Taste better with the garlic sauce. I prefer the hot n sour soup over the corn chowder. It has more texture (but don't get it if you don't like ear mushroom). The chowder sometimes salty, sometimes sweet, a little inconsistent. We like the lemonade iced tea. It's good and affordable price. This Bafang is located in the teapot plaza, next to Sunmerry bakery.

Yelp
Tried Bafang for the first time at the Chino Hills location and thought it was yummy, but it's out of my way. So I was excited to discover one opened up closer to me! Food: Got the signature dumplings, the corn chowder and signature noodles. - The dumplings were crispy on the bottom, soft on the top. I found it filling and would suggest it if it's your first time. - Corn chowder isn't anything too special, but I love my corn. It tastes like any you could get at an Asian restaurant in my opinion. - Signature noodles were alright. Not sure if I'd order it again. It has a peanut, sesame taste to it. Slightly spicy. I have a low tolerance, but this was just right amount or me. Service: Cashier was polite and gave me recommendations when I asked. It was later in the night, so the food didn't come out as quickly as it would during peak hours.

Yelp
Wow. Took 20 min for one meal! Really?! Ordered at 7:30 pm with no people waiting in front of me. Would understand if they were busy. Looked at kitchen and there was no one working. Finally someone came to the front. I asked how much longer. They said "still waiting on dumplings". If you're in a hurry, this is not the place to be.

Hana H.

Yelp
GET THE PORK CHOP. Even if you don't read the rest of this review, know that the pork chop is GOOD. Bafang Dumpling is a very casual, no-frills dumpling place. You order at the front, get a buzzer, pick a table, and get your food once it goes off. There are only a handful of tables inside so you might have to wait a bit, but most people seem to get their food to go. My friend and I got our food about 5 min after ordering. I got the kimchi & pork dumplings and the pork chop, and my friend got the signature potstickers and soup. My dumplings were very ok. I just wasn't a big fan of the flavors, but the textures were great and it wasn't bad. I preferred my friend's signature potstickers, which had great textures as well. I preferred her filling and she preferred mine, so maybe try both and see which one you like. They have some sauces as well to go with the dumplings - garlic, soy sauce, black vinegar, chili garlic sauce, and sesame oil. However, the pork chop was delicious. It smelled amazing out of the box, its breading is studded with warming spices like cinnamon and nutmeg maybe? It also has a bit of sweetness that makes for a nice sweet-savory flavor. It was not dry at all, very tender and flavorful meat. It's fried but not oily. The shop overall is a solid 4 stars, but this pork chop itself is 5/5. Get this with whatever you're ordering and it will make it better. If you're craving dumplings, I think this is a decent choice. And considering the plaza it's in, you can easily walk over to another shop and get dessert or tea afterwards. I will be back to try the beef noodle soup.

Brizylla A.

Yelp
I like Bafang for everything but their beef noodle soup. Topping to broth ratio was not enough and I also found the beef to be slightly overcooked. However the portion is huge and perfect for sharing. The pepper chicken is solid and I love that the sauce has a slight kick to it. Next time I'll be trying the corn and chicken dumplings as well as the sesame noodles. Sunday afternoons tend to be very busy and I do wish they had more seating.

Susan G.

Yelp
I've always seen this place around but finally got a chance to give it a try. I am so glad I did because I really enjoyed their food! I tried their signature dumplings and their corn & chicken dumplings. Both were great. Their signature noodles were DELICIOUS! It was the perfect amount of savory and spicy. Their wonton soup and corn chowder were surprisingly tasty. I definitely will be coming back here again soon!

Tiffany L.

Yelp
bafang, you can't go wrong with any of their pan fried dumplings. My favorite is the signature one. I usually get one of their combos. Also their spicy wontons are pretty good. However, it's pretty small. So I recommend sticking with their dumplings. Soups are standard tasting for what it is. I recommend the sweet and sour soup the most. Overall, it's a place for tasty quick bites. I typically do take outs.

Genevie Y.

Yelp
Fast food dumplings. We went on a weekday night, which doesn't have too many workers, you have to use the self serve register, but if you want any sides you have to flag someone down so they can charge you on regular register, the pickled radish are delicious. They have plenty of sauces to choose from, the noodles are cooked excellent. Bouncy and chewy. The dumplings I feel like they don't give enough flavor. I do like that they offer frozen dumplings and they are open until 10pm. This location doesn't have too many tables for customers so I think it's easier to clean. But it's weird not having bigger regular Chinese ladle/spoon with my beef noodles.

Sophia C.

Yelp
Delish! Considering there's a THOUSAND of these restaurants in Taiwan, I had never heard of Bafang until we stopped here for lunch. I guess it's like the McDonalds of Taiwan - good variety of crowd pleasers - with their signature dish being the potstickers. Getting the combo which comes with 12 potstickers and a large soup or drink is an insane amount of food. I couldn't finish it all - for $14 it's a steal. The only gripe is there's not much seating inside this particular one and I felt the Hot & Sour soup was a bit too sweet. Aside from that, if there was a Bafang in the SFV I would be hella fat.

Mary B.

Yelp
Bafang Dumpling Temple City is a clean and cozy pay-at-the-counter Taiwanese specialty shop offering convenient takeout, delivery and dine-in options. Take advantage of the free and convenient parking spots and the opportunity to check out the cute shops located in the same shopping plaza while you wait for your order here. Bafang Dumpling offers an extensive menu from Taiwanese beef soup, milk tea, savory snacks, house specials and specialty dumplings. I'm a huge dumpling fan. I like how many different cultures feature a tasty treat like a savory present inside of a dough wrapping. Gyoza, potsticker, baraka, samosa, empanada, pelmini, meat pie, ravioli, perogie and many other delicious handmade dumplings help bring families together. I ordered the Bafang signature dumplings pan fried with chili sauce on the side and a couple dozen frozen dumplings to take home. They were great! I tried cooking Bafang signature dumplings at home a few different ways, first by following the helpful instructions. My favorite cooking method was to pair Bafang Taiwanese dumplings with a few international dipping sauces and sidekicks from my local grocery store.  Bafang signature dumplings are a great addition to soups as well.  Great service, food and flavor. Five Star everything. Taiwanese dumplings fans, I posted a Taiwanese flag emoji alongside a positive poem about tolerance and a slow motion wok toss from a cool ramen joint. I was prompted to delete the post and shadow banned till I deleted it sadly. I hope Yelp is a place where we can celebrate our love for Taiwanese dumplings and each other forever. *********************

Yelp
A semi-quick meal if you're ever in the area and on the go but want to avoid fast food. We ordered the old fashion noodle as well as the Bafang signature noodle; both were mostly plain noodles with sauce. Don't get me wrong, they were flavorful (old fashion was savory but a bit salty while the signature noodle had a slight kick), and can fill you up but for price, it was a bit underwhelming. The potstickers were what you would expect but better than most. There is a self-serve garlic / soy sauce area and although I'm usually the first to oversaturate my dumplings and potstickers with the sauce, the one's provided here were just a bit too salty for my taste. I'm told the hot and sour soup was soothing on a old day. Staff was friendly and for what we ordered, it took about 10-15 minutes for our food to be ready. Interior is clean and tables are first come first serve.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Always hits the spot on any visit to LA! Just wish these dumplings were as cheap as the ones in Taiwan :( Love the sides and would have gotten more (pig ears, tofu, etc) if my stomach was bigger. The dumplings were right in line with the Bafang in Taiwan. Was craving noodles and the chewiness of these was really satisfying along with its nutty and salty flavor. Pretty low key place to eat, a lot of people getting takeout so it wasn't super packed when we ate there (which I enjoyed)!

Serena C.

Yelp
Great spot for quick eats! My favorite was the Old Fashioned Noodle and Pork Chop combo. It comes with a lemon tea as well! The pork chop was friend to perfection and the noodles were a tad sweet and very flavorful. We also tried a mix of dumplings and potstickers... They were all pretty good, but the Signature potstickers stood out the most. Normally I prefer dumplings, but about the potstickers being fried really made the flavors stand out. Service was good, althought it took a while for our food to come out. This is definitely NOT a spot to come with a big group. The restaurant itself is small and meant to be a quick-eats-place where you're in and out to eat.

Lee D.

Yelp
Quality/Quantity - Corn and Chicken Dumplings - My daughter's favorite. Because we are from the Bay Area, CA, we eat so many dumplings out there that these did not seem special. They were NOT bad, just not special. Signature Dumplings - Same as above, what makes this special? Signature Potstickers - What makes this special? Again, they were good but not special. Chili Pepper Fried Chicken - This tied as my favorite! Not sure if it was the spice...? But it was so good! Bafang Signature Noodles - This tied as my favorite! Not sure if it was the spice...? But it was so good! Tried all 5 sauces - Obviously the soy sauce, sweet chili and vinegar were nothing special. So my favorite was the garlic sauce. The "oil" sauce was not labeled and fairly flavorless. Also available - Combo meals, soups, drinks, side dishes, vegetarian options, frozen dumplings, etc. Atmosphere - Small business with orders made fresh. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm. Mall parking, but not enough spaces for all the businesses. Indoor seating only; we took to-go. Service - Okay. Self service kiosk, but no one, including us, used it. Self service water and sauces. Price - $34, reasonably priced but you get (quantity) what you pay for. Cashless. LOL, just saw the combo offer while writing this Yelp Review and because we bought the signature noodle and potstickers separately rather than the combo; we would have saved 5 cents!! Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1998 with your 6+ locations, and 4 more locations about to open in the US. I see that you are a franchise system with over 1100 stores in Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong.

Kelly C.

Yelp
Visited on a whim since all the nearby restaurants were packed! They don't have a lot of available seats but we were able to grab a table after waiting like 3 minutes! We ordered the combo special dumplings, veggie dumplings, and beef noodle soup. For a fast food place, it was not very fast LOL we waited about 20 minutes for our food which was just a tad too long for us. Nevertheless, the food was still good! The dumpling wrappings were the perfect thickness and the filling wasn't too seasoned. I tried a bit of the beef noodle soup but thought it was ordinary. The corn soup was nothing special as well. Overall, I would stick to the dumplings! Maybe try the potstickers next time as they are more well know for those! Parking: huge lot with underground parking so plenty of spaces! Environmental rating: 2/5 - I get that it's a "fast food" place but then they ask if you're eating there and use reusable bowls for noodles but not the dumplings. Kinda confusing

Jennie T.

Yelp
I've been here a handful of times since my initial review to know that this place has truly gone downhill in terms of service. Food is still up to par since this is a chain so there are probably standard food preparation procedures to maintain consistency. This update in review is strictly for the service. Orders are taking longer to come out when there are no lines - 15+ mins because people in the back keep chatting and are on their phones. Today, my order to-go came out wrong so I asked them to fix it. They did after confirming with a few staff members that the order was wrong. When I got home, the order was correct but my spicy wontons were doused in way too many sesame seeds. It was more like spicy sesame seeds with a side of wontons. Didn't take a picture of the soup I got, but it was also not filled to the top. Really disappointed in the service today...

Courtny D.

Yelp
TLDR: Inexpensive place to get your potsticker and noodle craving! Definitely get their famous potstickers My partner and I came here for a quick dinner after a long day of work due to a noodle craving. We came on a Friday night around 9pm and got our food in 10 minutes. You can order via kiosk There's a station to get sauces such as garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, etc that pair well with their famous potstickers. With that said - everything was delicious, especially their potstickers!! Their noodles were also very tasty and loved the signature sauce. Portions were actually huge and we left full and happy! FOOD: Old fashioned noodles Potstickers Signature noodles Hot and sour soup

Olivia L.

Yelp
Ops! I believe I might have ended up at the incorrect store. My main issues are: First, I only placed a single order for a Boba and chicken, but the wait was around 30 minutes. I checked on my order twice, and they consistently replied, "yes, it's on its way". I could only spot three employees, so I tried to gauge the number of customers. My second issue is that the taste was overly sweet and lacked the genuine flavor. I received my chicken without any sauce, and it was so dry that I couldn't finish it. In summary, it's not worth the cost, and definitely not worth the wait.

Joyce T.

Yelp
Bafang is always my favorite place for dumplings when I visit LA. I like the dumpling skin which is crispy and the juicy inside, but this branch has a little more oily texture. I visited on Saturday evening at 8pm ish, they ran out of hot sour soup and I had to settle for iced lemon tea. Parking is kind of difficult on Saturday night.

P W.

Yelp
The restaurant has a few small tables for dining in and is clean and well-maintained. Customers can enjoy free access to all the sauces. The pork chop and noodle combo is a good choice and reasonably priced. I appreciate the option to have dumplings both half-boiled and half-fried with soup. The service is friendly, and the staff ensures that orders are correct before customers leave.

Jessica N.

Yelp
My family and i have been coming to this bafang since they opened. We love the food here and the price is reasonable. This is like small place with limited menu. The place is clean and neat. The combo soup and fried dumplings are so delicious. We love the fired porkchop. So juicy and flavorful. Service is great. I usually come random time of the day and always feel welcome here. Definitely recommend to friends and others!

Andrew W.

Yelp
Their famous potstickers are tasty. Not too salty and the filling is nicely proportioned with chicken, vegetables and seasoning. We ordered two combos. Number 2- potstickers with wonton soup. Number 14- potstickers with dry spicy noodle. The wonton soup is felt it was a little salty with the soup. Wonton is a little mushy. The spicy wonton is better because the soup version is making it further mushy. The spicy noodle is very good. Noodle has a good bite. Not really that spicy but still has a good kick. Both combos are quite generous so we have a little bit of leftover. My biggest complain is the amount of seats are so limited. We were too hungry to wait for a table or drive all the way home to eat. So we are in our car.

Katelyn K.

Yelp
I stopped by over the weekend for lunch and a few things have changed since my first visit. I'm glad they changed the sauce bar to a pump condiment dispensers, which is easier for usage. I noticed they removed bar seat area to just small tables, opening up the space more. I ordered #7 signature noodle and wonton soup, bafang signature potstickers and cucumber cold side dish. The signature noodle has really strong flavor, which is addicting. The potstickers are good too. Personally I would like them a bit more crispy. It's a good place to stop by for a quick eat, however, the wait can be a bit long for food to come out and I stopped by during slow hours too. Parking can be a challenge here. Might be better off to go to the parking structure on the lower level.

Dan L.

Yelp
This restaurant serves great tasting food at reasonable prices. The cashier was very helpful and easy to interact with. All dishes are served in to-go containers, but you do have the option to dine-in with said containers. There is a condiment bar and iced water dispenser adjacent to the dine-in area. In my experience, parking can always be obtained in either the street-level or underground lot (at least, if you don't mind some walking). Customer seating at this location is very uncomfortable. Cash is not accepted here - only card payments (boooo!!!). And possibly worst of all, this restaurant was guilty of the odious crime of playing Maroon 5 in the background. Despite these sins, I would still return here for their delicious meals.

Jackie C.

Yelp
Introduction: - was craving for some quick dumplings - folks came here last time and told me all about it Pros: - They got a variety dumpling combo comes with different flavors Pork & Cabbage (Bafang signature), corn and chicken and veggie. Had it with the hot and sour soup. Its actually pretty tasty for the price. - Honestly, the potstickers were the most flavorful out of the menu. Cons: - Plaza is usually jammed packed Conclusion: - solid dumpling and soup for a fulfilling meal - recommended for the value and satisfaction

Ann Z.

Yelp
Very kind staff and quick service! Answered all my questions and food was delicious! Come here for there signature noodles!

Yelp
Background On Visit: Initially, I had a nem nuong craving, but 2 Summer Rolls locations were closed on the day I went. So I decided to try out Bafang instead. Visitation Rights: Been to this location once, but I've patronized the city of Industry location before. Restroom: There's a restroom for you to use. Credit Cards: You can use your credit card here. Location/Parking: Located in the Camelia Square. Sandwiched in between Summer Rolls and Sunmerry. Parking can be a bit hard to find, but it is manageable. They do have underground parking available. If you don't want to stress out too much about parking, you can park on Saltana Ave.. Ambiance/Decor: Neat decor with minimal furnishings. This shop was originally designed to be a take it and go shop, but one customer complained and now you see some furnishings for you to sit and eat inside. Service: Service was good. You primarily go up to the register, order, and find a seat. They'll give you a pager and once it makes a beeping noise and vibrates, you go and pick up your food. They also have one self ordering kiosk that you can order from also. Food Of Choice: 1) Bafang Signature Potstickers (Pork): Very good and crispy. If you think it's a bit oily, just dab the oil off by using a napkin. Make sure you utilize the sauces that they have. I would recommend getting the garlic sauce and black vinegar. 2) Bafang Signature Pork Chop: Pork chop comes out moist and tender. The pickled radish and cucumbers added a nice refreshing balance. If you're all about the oil life, just dab it with napkins. Same as the potstickers, please utilize the garlic sauce and black vinegar. Bafang Dumpling For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back to try other items on the menu. Wished they offered some kinda of combo option of with their bafang pork chop with pot stickers/dumplings like the other combos that they offer.

Yelp
I walked in yesterday and saw only one customer ahead of me, so I ordered a set of six pan-fried dumplings. It seemed promising at first, but shortly after, I noticed many people arriving to pick up takeout orders, which were prioritized over mine and the customer ahead of me. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked the counter staff how much longer it would take. She checked the computer and informed me that my order hadn't even been started, and she couldn't tell me when it would be ready. At that point, I decided to cancel my order. I felt frustrated and disappointed. When I placed my order, they should have informed me if there would be a long wait. It's not good to keep walk-in customers waiting indefinitely.

Yelp
Pretty good for food and also pricing. Personally pot stickers are better than the dumplings but they have interesting dumplings like kimchi, signature, and corn+chicken. Noodles are slightly spicy.

Yelp
Potstickers are delicious. They even taste better than the ones I had in Taiwan. Also love their side dish choices. Customer service is great. The store manager Cheng was super nice and helpful after I had some issues with the self-order kiosk. Store is also very clean.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try the food here since I've heard good things about the food. We ordered online and got it to go. When we picked up our food they forgot our tea, but girl on the phone was really nice and accommodating when we called to tell them about it. The parking here is always a hit or miss depending on the time of day. I got combo 1 which came with 12 signature potstickers and your choice of hot n sour soup or corn chowder. I got the corn chowder and it was AMAZING. It came in a bigger container than I was expecting. It was a perfect blend of sweet and salty. The potstickers were really good, but it was just too oily for my liking. Would definitely come again to try more food items!

Yelp
If it was based on the food itself, rating would probably be a 4. Not life changing, but pretty good, and kids are especially receptive to it, so that's a bonus. But they scrimp on staffing here, making the wait unnecessarily long. I've been here quite a few times and every single time a line forms because there's literally no one at the counter. They are running back and forth into the kitchen to help with whatever they do back there. Why they need to run back and forth when there's a giant open window to the kitchen is beyond me. I'm typing this review while waiting for my online order, which was supposed to be ready some time ago but their system didn't generate a ticket for the kitchen until I checked in (at the scheduled pickup time). And they've also had to tell two people, who ordered in person, that their orders are delayed, again for some unknown reason. It's too bad they are set up so poorly because they are definitely popular, so I would assume they make enough money to afford hiring an additional person.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this place with my husband. I've never been to the ones in Taiwan, but I would like to in order to make a comparison in the future. Bafang is nestled between Summer Rolls and Sunmerry Bakery. The plaza here has a ton of good food, so there's many options for not just food, but boba tea (Tea Station), dessert (Meet Fresh), and crepes (T-Swirl Crepe, although this shop changes often) also. It's not a large shop by any means, max capacity on the wall says 28. But at the time we went, which was around 7:15pm, we were easily able to find parking right in front of the restaurant and get a table as well. We ordered Combo #1, the Signature Potstickers that you get 12 of, and you get a choice of a drink or soup. I chose the hot and sour soup as it was a chilly night. If you get cold easily like I do, make sure to dress properly; there is no heater on and the doors are left open. We also ordered Combo #8 with the Old Fashioned Noodles and Pork Chop which comes with a Lemon Black Tea. There's a station with utensils, water, water cups, sauces (garlic sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil and chili sauce) and sauce cups. All self serve. For one sauce I mixed garlic sauce, soy sauce, black vinegar, and sesame oil. The other I just had the chili sauce by itself. Anyways, the only reason this didn't get a 5* review is because we placed our order around 7:15pm (which was our receipt) and we didn't get our food till 7:40pm. It wasn't exceptionally busy either, there was no line at the register or a bunch of people waiting. Just the amount of people for the tables minus 1 or 2 tables. Other patrons that ordered after we did had received their food, had eaten and left already. At first, we thought the pork chop must take longer and we patiently waited, but as the numbers called got larger and farther after ours, we realized they must have forgotten to give us our food. Upon asking they immediately brought our food to us and apologized. I was happy with the flavor of all of the food, but because our food sat longer, we didn't get to enjoy the pork chop or potstickers as crispy and fresh (they were slightly soggy/softened) as we would have liked to. Everything was still warm and the soup was still actually super hot that it could burn your throat if you weren't careful, which I was pleased with, given how we didn't get our food right away. The noodles were a nice texture, chewy, with great flavor and lots of sauce. The potstickers were nicely fried with flavorful and tender filling. The pork chop was seasoned and cooked well. Again, I just wish we could have had eaten everything immediately fresh because we had dined in. If we had gotten to go, I would have understood that the food would have been like this. Anyways, it still hit the spot and I left full and warm after finishing the soup. Hopefully the next time we come we will get our food on time, because it was still really good otherwise and the price is right.

Yelp
Parking: Busy, free lot. I ordered the Bafang pan-fried dumplings, the pork chop, Bafang signature noodles, and Bafang steamed dumplings. Don't judge me; I went for their namesake. It seemed safe, and I was RIGHT! These were kind of your typical dumplings but slightly tastier. It felt less fatty too. I recommend it if you want something that tastes like home. I don't think there was anything truly inspired here, but it was good. I would come back.

Yelp
Avoid this place at all costs. I didn't learn my lesson last time. When I dined here, the wait was incredibly long. This time, I tried ordering takeout. I placed my order at 6:37, but by 7:20, there was still no update. I walked up to the counter to ask, and they told me it would still be a while. I asked how long, and they couldn't give me an answer, just said there were a few large orders ahead of mine. Meanwhile, about 10 other people were waiting for their takeout orders as well. I understand a busy restaurant, but it was clear they were understaffed and the attitude wasn't great either. I ended up canceling and getting a refund, but it was a complete waste of time. Unless you have a lot of free time, I'd recommend avoiding this place.

Yelp
(Review based on 3.5 stars) This Bafang Dumpling location can be found inside Camellia Square (The plaza with the floating tea pot fountain), specifically next door to Sunmerry Bakery and right behind Summer Rolls. This location opened back towards the end of April. I decided to try this dumpling house out by making a to go order online and picking it up. I ended up ordering: Bafang Signature Noodle, $6.95 prior to tax- The signature noodles have a peanut sauce flavor to it that is pretty tasty and the portion size is good to share with another person (or can be a filling meal for one). These noodles have chili powder added to it, giving it a kick. Old Fashioned Noodle, $6.95 prior to tax- Similar to the signature noodles, but has bean sprouts added to it. Sesame Noodle, $6.95 prior to tax- Also similar to the other 2 noodle dishes. Spicy Wonton, $5.50 prior to tax. Comes in order of 5 pieces- My husband devoured these all and enjoyed them. 12 Kimchi & Pork Dumpling, $10 prior to tax- These steamed dumpling were tasty with pork and a little added spicy kick with the kimchi. I liked the flavor of the filling but thought it was a little too spicy for me (I'm not much of a spicy eater but my husband who does eat spicy foods regularly didn't think it was that spicy, lol). 12 Signature Potstickers, $10 prior to tax- This dish was good but I thought it would have been a little bit more flavorful since this is the signature dish. ------------------------------- (Total= $50.76 after tax) When my husband and I came in to pick up our order, we waited a few minutes before an employee acknowledged us. I did see my order with my name on the counter though, so that was at least a good sign that my order was ready. I did like that the onions and sauces were packed on the side and that we were also given a few sets of plastic utensils and napkins. Overall, I think the dumpling was just okay and was really hoping the fillings would have had a bit more flavor. I did like the noodles but wished the 3 noodle dishes had a little bit more variety to it. Bafang Dumpling would not be my first choice for dumpling and noodle so I probably won't be back anytime soon.

Yelp
Bafang continues to surpass my expectations. Ordered the #4 Bafang Signature, which combines with their old-fashioned noodles as well as 6 pieces of kimchi and pork potstickers. The potstickers came out super fresh, and I liked the snap that came with every bite. The noodles were a nice consistency, chewy, and filled with an abundance of delicious sauce. The person serving us was super accomodating!

Yelp
I like this food. I'm a regular. Only problem is, it's really really slow. Good luck. Order and take a walk. Hit up the bakery maybe. Go hit the weights and then come back.

Yelp
Good option for late night, quick service dumplings with good value combo meals. I got the #4 combo which is the signature potstickers and signature noodle. Both are, on their own, pretty bland, but there are a lot of sauces available to season to your liking. I put sesame oil and garlic sauce in my noodles and it tasted much better, though I wish they had chili oil on hand to add even more depth. I thought my noodles were pretty chewy but my boyfriend thought his were too mushy, so not sure if something was done differently between the two. The potstickers were pretty basic. There weren't a lot of aromatics in the filling, which in itself was pretty small, so the taste didn't stand out at all. I think they could have been a little crispier too. Overall, not a bad experience, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to come here to get my dumpling fix.

Yelp
Came here for takeout, and this place is primarily known for takeout so I can't be as lenient on the food quality. The prices are just a bit on the cheaper side as it comes with a side of a soup or a drink, but honestly the food was nothing special. I tried their frozen dumplings to cook at home too, and it's not bad. The dumplings are stuck together and do get soggy real quick. Noodles have good flavor, but also on the soggier side; I wish that both were firmer.
