Rating based on the fact that this was a Michelin but only with the Michelin price tag. No Amuse-bouche(before or after or without courses) , no pallet cleanser. Most importantly it lacked flavor- where the ingredients fresh-yes, but lacked even salt seasoning. So many Michelins in Paris and this was the most ordinary experience. the restaurant which had around 15 people seating was empty for their last seating

Spectacular, food and service! The best meal I had in Paris and our last night, so perfect way to celebrate. I highly recommend this restaurant a million times over! They were also very friendly and accommodating for gluten-free and lactose, free meals.

You have to put this restaurant on your “must do” list. I invited a friend who was visiting and he is quite particular about fine dining and wine selection and he raved about Baffo! And he definitely wants to dine there again when he returns! I also suggest that when making a reservation make sure that Elaina is on staff—she really puts the dining experience “over the top” 👌👌🥰

I think my expectations were too high. The restaurant is like a good average Italian place in San Francisco. Nothing particularly creative or gourmet about the dishes. The service was really good, a highlight of the place.

It presents as almost a hole in the wall when you first approach down the block, but the interior is charming and intimate. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, happy to discuss dishes and wines, and provide recommendations. The food is next level. Fine dining Italian without the intimidation that can come from such. I only wish I had more room in myself for dessert.

A lovely little restaurant in the Marais — cozy and welcoming. We ordered à la carte: the calamari were perfect, the prawn pasta was rich and flavorful, and the tiramisu was excellent. Everything was great, though the pasta portion could be slightly smaller. Great experience overall!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food was incredible, as good as any restaurant I've had in Italy. Our experience was in particular elevated by our server; David, who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional, and make us feel welcome in Paris. An experience deserving of its title as the best Italian restaurant in Paris.

Excellent raw materials, but slightly above average cooking. Prices too high for the quality. Almost one half of the items on the wine list were missing and just crossed out. Nobody bothers to take the missing items out of the list. That’s a shame! Brilliant service. Nice atmosphere. Overall impression - far beyond the expectations. “Best italian restaurant in Paris” title should be justified, not just declared.

Aloha. By far the best meal I. Paris thus far. If you love truffles you must dine here and do th chefs truffle special. No questions ask d just trust the chef to guide you to a fantastic meal. I am so happy to let you know you will be so happy. Seriously every dish got better and better. And make sure you get the chocolate soufflé with truffles. Amazingly awesome. Enjoy.

This meal was a highlight of my trip to France. Absolutely delicious!! First of all my drink was so good. It was some sort of spritz and I wish i knew how to make it. My sister and I shared the salad, truffle pasta, and chocolate fondant dessert. The salad was perfectly balanced. The pasta was amazing! It was really rich and the shaved truffle and cheese were great with the dish. The chocolate dessert was incredible. I would never think to pair chocolate with white truffle but it was delicious! Our server, David, was fantastic! Super nice and attentive. He really added to the whole experience. The restaurant itself is stylish and small. We were so lucky to get in without a reservation so definitely make one!! I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant!

This was an excellent italian restaurant. The servers were very responsive and engaging. The food was amazing - both the chef's pre-set menu and the off menu options!

The highlight of our trip! They made sure everything was gluten free, everything was delicious the calamari, the wine, the pasta with truffle shavings, oh man, can't wait to visit again next time we're in Paris.

Best meal from our trip to Paris. The server was so kind and joyful in presenting each dish to us. We went for the chef's choice menu. Every single dish and wine pairing was superb down to the post-meal drink. The highlight of our trip.

An intimate gourmet find in the Marais - an Italian escape in the middle of Paris. The place is small (7 tables upstairs), and the menu is selective, but the flavors are big. The pastas are fresh and yummy, and the risotto was sworn worthy. I opted for a truffle starter, a truffle veal dish as my main, and a chocolate fondant with truffles for dessert. So I guess that makes me a truffle pig, but I loved it. Service was excellent, with fluent English spoken.

What a yummy dinner! I am gluten free and dairy free and they were happy to accommodate me. The gnocci was delish, service super friendly, and great wine selection.

Surprised and actually impressed by the food quality. It's rustic yet refined and while it is certainly not cheap you get what you pay for. The thick rich pasta was clearly handmade and the sausage based sauce was robust and earthy. The wood decor and the brokklyn esque lighting were charming

Best pasta ever had! My friend and I were craving Italian while we were in Paris. I guess after eating French for a few days we just wanted something for a change. A friend in Paris recommended this place so we decided to give it a try. And it was the best decision ever! I got the Maltagliati porcaiola. The flavors were very well-balanced and the sauce was creamy but not heavy. The ambiance was intimate and great for dates!!

It was our last night in Paris and my fiancée and I had just gotten engaged a few nights prior. We mentioned this when we made the online reservation and the staff had beautiful flowers waiting when we arrived. The service was incredibly friendly, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was quiet and romantic. If you're looking for a great Italian food experience in Paris, Baffo is not to be missed.

I just had to share this experience. I normally don't write reviews but this had to be told. I came to this restaurant expecting a great Italian dinner for my last night in Paris . I had an amazing week with some memorable meals and i though this would be ending my trip with a bang!. Unfortunately neither the food or service was worth a single star. I tried the pasta AMAT..or amatriciana as I was lead to believe it was. I asked ..is it tomato sauce..yes..with guancale..ok great. Well I was served was the waiter said was a variation of it. No tomato sauce, black pasta and sprinkled with a spice that has no place anywhere near an Italian kitchen. I still don't know what it was . It was similar to ginger or cinnamon. I'm from Argentina. I traveled all.over..i live in the USA..i had tried Italian restaurants in Japan..italy..spain..and of course I grew up on Italia food. This was definitely an unnsesary deviation from the original recipe. I welcome innovation but the general flavor of the dish needs to be there somehow. I requested to return the dish and replace it but the waiter said that I still had to pay for a plate that I barely touched. I paid for the meal and left still with the disgusting flavor in my mouth. Very poor service and worse food than I had in my entire life. I'm not kidding. If you are going to be altering a 100 years old recipe you have to accept that some people won't be happy with it. It's part of the risk you are taking . I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Sorry Baffo.

Oh my gosh this was so great, we didn't take any pictures, but we really enjoyed our dinner. We are living in the Marais and have tried most Italian restaurants and this one, being so small, was missed. Not any more, our dinners and appetizers were just delicious! We will definitely be back! They have a wine bar downstairs that we are looking forward to visiting!

Came back 3 times! Absolutely fantastic. Small place so make a reservation or come late. Would highly recommend. Pasta dishes are amazing!
