Bag O'Crab

The shrimp and crab were not fresh and were of poor quality. I had diarrhea after eating them. They even offer a cashback for a 5-star review. I think all their good reviews are fake.

Loved the garlic one! Medium was the perfect level of spice for me - it has a good kick but it was still enjoyable. - great for big groups - service was great! - highly recommend!!!

Great value for a very satisfying meal. Our go-to is Combo 1 (shrimp and mussels) with an order of garlic noodles. The cajun sauce is very flavorful.

Experience overall was average. The hosts/hostesses could be a little more attentive to the tables, especially when they expect a tip. One recommendation, get the Louisiana Flavor for your seasoning. The Atomic Sauce is waaaayyyyy too salty, at least that’s the case at this location. The portions were pretty big and I had enough left over to take home. The king crab was HUGE. Ultimately, it wasn’t bad. Wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but if i’m in the area, i’d likely stop.

I had the shrimp po'boy which wasn't all that good. I've had them at other Bag O'Crab and it was a big difference. Other party members enjoyed their food but I wasn't too happy.

Nice little place in Berkeley, serving mostly crab and fish n chips, but also chicken wings, which were screaming good! I don’t eat fish, so I had lemon pepper chicken wings - they were great! And really good garlic noodles. The decor was very nicely done; the service was excellent! Kind and gracious staff. Definitely recommend visiting here...

I've been here before and had the garlic sauce with my bag of crab and it was delicious, but this time it wasn't as much flavor as before. Maybe just an off day.

We order the C2 combo to go. It includes Alaskan Crab, headless (or not) shrimp, corn, sausage and potatoes all in a big plastic bag soaked in Cajun sauce. Two canned lemonades go well. We drive to the Berkeley Marina, back up to the San Francisco Bay and watch the sun set. This is our loving ritual and we want to share it with you 😘 Ask for extra napkins! They include two sets of plastic gloves but you will need extra napkins. Try asking if they have moist towelettes too… or bring your own wipes. This is a messy food to eat in the kitchen or outdoors for us… but we are sloppy with it 😄 It doesn’t detract from the fun, it IS the fun! The photo is of unappetizing leftovers - don’t worry it looks much better hot!
