"Row & Co, a multi-use retail complex south of the Square, boasts several small businesses, but most notably to those with an appetite: Bag of Joy Bagel Co. At Bag of Joy, Nick and Kailani DeLorenzo are crafting bagels from locally sourced ingredients — with flavors like dill pickle, honey brie, and cacio de pepe — that often draw lines around the building and sell out frequently." - Chanel Rene, Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

First visit due to limited shop hours and I don’t live in the city, happened to be in town for an early meeting. Came for a salt bagel and there was one left. I brought it home to toast and had one half with butter the other with cream cheese. This bagel was definitely not like the bagels of coastal CT/NYC where I lived for decades. This bagel was thinner, dark brown which to me means over cooked and had a sprinkle of salt. I was hoping for a plump, chewy bagel with a thick salt coating. I was a bit shocked at the price for a single bagel. Over $4, which I imagine is because of the low volume. If this is thier norm it will be a one and done for me. I wish them success but I doubt I will return.

Have been here now close to 10 times and every time it is just as good as the last. Can confidently say the jalapeno cheddar bagel with bacon cream cheese is the best bagel I've ever had. The owners are also extremely nice and make a point to talk to everyone who comes in. If you live nearby you have to give this place a try!

My husband and I visited later in the day when there were not as many options because they had sold out of a lot (because they’re stinkin good)! We walked in and the tiny shop smelled so yummy. We decided to ask the man working the register what he’d suggest. He did not disappoint by suggesting the Everything Bagel with the Chive Schmear. SO. GOOD. I’m craving another just typing this out. Do yourself a favor and go try this little shop out! Also, I thought this little stamped bag was a fun way to package my bagel to go. I like a local small shop with character.

I went on a weekday! No line, and the owner was extremely engaging! I got the rosemary olive oil bagel, and honey Brie cream cheese. Delicious! Will be back and happy to support this family business.

These guys are fantastic. The bagels, the schmear and the service are all on point. Yes they are the best bagels around, yes they are worth the drive and yes they are worth the wait! They have the classic bagel and cream cheese pairings but they also have some experimental ones too. Ask for the Dill pickle schmear on a Jalapeño bagel and you will not be disappointed. Love having this place nearby!

Love this humble but high-quality newer small business. My wife and I can’t wait to grab bagels every Saturday!! The team is so friendly and they make it easy to want to keep coming back to support them.

Bagels were worth the wait. We went on a Saturday morning - super busy time because they are so popular! We got plain, asiago, and blueberry bagels. Higher priced bagels and breakfast sandwiches. Loved the small business aspect as you could see the two team members working hard! Not a ton of room so I wouldn’t say it’s wildly kid friendly, but there is plenty of room outside to put a blanket down and have a morning picnic.

We love Bag of Joy! Not only do they have amazing bagels but the owner who makes the bagels and the nice guy who works the cash register and prepares your bagel are so nice and kind. There is often a wait but this just shows you how good the bagels are, it’s very worth the wait. We lived in NJ for a few years and these bagels are just as good if not better then any you can find in NY.
