How to Plan the Perfect Ski Trip to Courchevel, France

"A chic, party-minded lunch spot located at the top of the Chenus Gondola that doubles as an excellent après destination (note: closes at 4 p.m.). The menu leans French Mediterranean; the seared scallops are singled out as a must, the artichoke salad is recommended, and the truffle pizza is another favorite. Expect bubbly and a lively atmosphere—plan a last run around 2 p.m. and head over for a drink and dancing." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. Great mix of food, view, atmosphere, sun and good music. Easy to arrive via remonte Chenus for both skiers and non skiers. Food arrive quickly and price is reasonable for what you receive. First service is a bit quieter than the second. Desserts are excellent however it will take 15-20 min to arrive to the table. Two suggestions. Make sure to bring sunglasses and cream as the sun shines strongly and the restaurant should offer hats for the sun instead of referring fo the boutique to purchase one.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. For us it was a superb experience - fantastic service from the start to the end, all of the staff were extremely friendly and polite and attentive, very fun vibe, gorgeous views, delicious food and cocktails! Cannot wait to come back!

Rude waiter and super expensive. Also super loud. People are coming to the mountains to relax not listen to your stupid music. Food is average, nothing special.

Such a good vibe! Very good service, friendly staff and overall a great ambaince. You just have to reserve ahead of time because it's really popular. If you are in Courchevel, it is a must see. They also have a great photographer, you can take pictures and later order for printing. It is a bit expensive 35 EUR per picture but it might be worth it.

Probably the most beautiful panorama in the entire 3 Vallees. The venue itself is beautiful and offers a great menu. The food and service were outstanding and i highly recommend this place for a lunch with friends or family. Prices are in line with the quality served and the unparalleled views. A must while in Courchevel!

Disgusting and absolutely not professional service. They treat you like you owe them something, when at the end of the day they supposed to serve you. Waiters only there to drink and have fun. Food is very bad, sometimes comes cold. Managers also don‘t care about anything except how to do coke with some clients in the toilets, especially the fat guy called Matteo. The biggest dummy there is Antoni Banderas, if you ever meet him, don’t trust him and ask to change the waiter. Used to love Bagatelle, and was visiting this place every year since 2007. Now it’s just a rip off, expensive yet lowest quality you find in Courchevel. The guy on the photo is Antoni I mentioned earlier. Don’t trust him!

We wanted to ask if there were two places for lunch, without a reservation, at the entrance one of the security guards was rude, he said that even for President Macron he would not have a place. And this is on my birthday.
