The 12 Best French Restaurants in Miami | Eater Miami

"After a two-year hiatus, Bagatelle is back and offering the taste (and party) of the French Riviera. Expect bright dishes at this lively restaurant, like the wild scallop ceviche with olive oil and lemon flavors, crispy fish fritters with arrabbiata sauce, and steamed turbot fish with caramelized clementines. Finish the meal with the dark chocolate fondant souffle or the crepes with caramelized pistachio." - Eater Staff

We went here on a thursday night expecting it to be really lit and loud and tbh it was quite the opposite but it was our first night in miami so we were not mad at all after a tiring travel day. The food was literally 10/10. I was really expecting it to be mediocre but might’ve been one of our fav places to eat on our 5 day trip. We ordered the arincini balls, the carpaccio, and the ravioli plus the bread they gave us was to die for. I went here with my best friend and we truly had a great experience i would definitely come back

Bagatelle Miami is definitely one of the more fun and high-energy dining spots in South Beach. The atmosphere is lively, upscale, and full of that classic Miami glamour. The music, the crowd, the lighting—everything feels like a party, but still with a sense of elegance. The food is really good, especially if you’re into French-Mediterranean flavors. The truffle pasta and seafood options are standouts, and the drinks are well-crafted. Service was attentive and the staff definitely know how to keep the vibe going.

Absolutely exceptional experience – Bagatelle is perfection from start to finish. I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, everything was flawless. The ambiance is vibrant yet elegant, with the perfect balance of energy and sophistication. The service was truly outstanding — attentive, friendly, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. You can tell the staff genuinely care about creating a memorable experience. And the food? Absolutely divine. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh, the portions generous, and the execution flawless. From starters to dessert, it was a culinary joyride. What makes Bagatelle stand out even more is how everything just comes together — the music, the lighting, the energy of the room — it’s an experience, not just a meal. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just enjoying life, this is the perfect place to do it. Thank you, Bagatelle, for an unforgettable night. I can’t wait to come back.

Google
To sum it up, super expensive and food doesn’t taste nearly as good. Just pretentiousness. Presentation was good but the taste of the food was well below mediocre. Pomme fois gras was very disappointing, flavor wasn’t there and it was too undercooked. Tuna tartare was average. Their $28 truffle shavings (3 pieces) hardly had any flavor. Pizza with cheese was cold. Steak was ok, peppercorn sauce was also ok - you can probably eat a better steak in Applebees. The mash potato side tasted like it was a powder and water mix. Fries tasted like they’ve been fried in overused oil with a horrible aftertaste. Servers were friendly. The girl at the valet was really sweet hospitable. Does it worth $500 2-person dinner and $40 parking. Absolutely NOT!

Google
We went for Valentines Day dinner. The atmosphere was great, the service was phenomenal and the food was good. It was unfortunate they were out of the majority of the steak options. We had to settle on our choice of food. I'm sure it would have been 5 stars if they would have had the steaks we wanted.

Google
Great time!! We came with a group of friends late on a sat night. So didn’t really do dinner but shared a few apps that were good. Drinks were all fantastic. Waiters were very nice and service was good. Loved the music and vibes. We stayed till they closed. Be sure to make a reservation.

Google
My friend and I were really excited to try this place and made a late dinner reservation for 12:30 am through their website. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were told the kitchen usually closes at 10 pm. They were confused about how I was able to make this reservation and they apologized. It was super disappointing. We ended up just having a drink at the bar and leaving shortly after. The restaurant itself looked beautiful and had a great vibe.

We were at a meeting late at night, and we were very surprised that the whole restaurant was empty. So we didn’t stay long. Liked the cocktail.

Yelp
This place is a partayyy! Do not come here if you're expecting a normal fancy sit down dinner -- we were seated for only a few minutes total and the rest of the time we were standing up and dancing! This is the perfect place to come for a birthday party or bachelorette party. I would recommend getting a late reservation because the party starts at around 10. Wouldn't necessarily come here for the food. The portions are so incredibly tiny -- think 3 pieces of pasta on a plate. But we came late night after a pregame with snacks so it worked out fine. Also warning -- I got there 25 minutes late with my party of 10 and they had given away our table. No text or call so I would really recommend getting there on time. We had to fight to get seated.

Yelp
Bagatelle Miami offers a lively, vibrant experience with a chic ambiance. While the food is on the pricier side, the atmosphere more than makes up for it. The real highlight of the night was the entertainment - live music, and people started dancing, which turned the evening into a fun, high-energy experience. If you're looking for a place to celebrate and enjoy great vibes, Bagatelle is worth visiting, especially if you're in the mood to splurge a little!

Yelp
Super fun ambiance for a night! Service is amazing! Servers were dancing with us. Pricing wasn't bad. Good was okay.

Yelp
The woodfire octopus was so good, it was a good portion size and very tender. Flavorful! I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes - size is good for two. It was a Miami Vice decor meets modern. They're known for their dinner parties, they had a live DJ when we dined- this was on a Wednesday night. They have a professional photographer taking your pictures for $35 with a frame. They did take awhile to drop the bill off but overall attentive waiters and staff

Yelp
Food was next level, the ambiance kept us there and moreover the live music kept us dancing too. A must go to in south beach.
google avatar

Annette M.

Yelp
One of the best dining experiences in Miami! I really enjoyed the way the restaurant is set up. You have the DJ booth right out in the open in front of the dining room. Then there's a performer with a trumpet that plays occasionally. Overall such a fun time and we all loved the food! I ordered their octopus and mashed potatoes- octopus was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were light, fluffy, and buttery. Cocktails were delicious as well. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Very fun dinner spot on south beach! We arrived little earlier than our reservation so we went straight to the bar. I ordered an espresso martini and dare I say it was one of the best ones I've ever had. I ended up ordering two that night! Our servers were so nice and attentive to our table they made sure to put our order in before the party started and kept coming by to check on us. We ordered the Pain piccia soufflé à la truffe and it was so good. My favorite bite of the night. The order is on the small side so if you're with a large group definitely order two. For my main entree I ordered the steak with fries.

Yelp
This is such a fun place to visit if you want the touristy Miami experience. The ambience is amazing, and the service was super welcoming! I went with my family to take advantage of Miami Spice menu. Keep in mind the cut off is at 8:45pm. So make sure you make an early reservation. Also another disclaimer is that most of the appetizers and entrees are shareable so if someone in your party is not willing to share that dish, then you have to pick something else. The food was okay. Nothing to go back to. I did like their truffle ravioli and chocolate pizza. We also tried the lobster pasta, eggplant parm appetizer, ceviche and cod fish fritters.

Yelp
Dinner, dancing, a sax man....Bagatelle was so fun! The service was unmatched. From taking care of our table on the ground to pulling us up to dance in our seats...our server made sure we had a great time. Everything was a must try but if I could pick one it would be the Piccia à la Truffe de Saison. Delicious. It's cut into 4 pieces so if you have a bigger group, I definitely recommend getting more than one because you won't want to share. The steak was excellent and came with fries but I swapped it out for the mash potatoes. The fish croquetas were also good! While I didn't try the noodle dish, most of the table chose that option and there weren't any leftovers. If you need somewhere to go that has dinner and dancing, Bagatelle is a great choice.

Yelp
One of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Hostess wouldn't seat us until the entire party arrived, even though the restaurant was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Once seated, service was slow and taking the order for our table of eight took forever. FYI, they don't have a special Miami Spice menu, they just give you three courses from the regular menu for $60, which is a complete ripoff. Most of the main entrees are meant to be shared and they make you share an entree with someone, even for Miami Spice. So you are getting half an entree for $60 each person! Food: my Riviera salad was the only good thing I had. It was mainly avocados with some totally undercooked lentils and some greens with a tasty raspberry vinaigrette. Then it was downhill from there. Since they were making us share entrees, I asked the server if he could have the kitchen just split the lobster pasta onto two plates, he said he would do it himself table side. And by the time he took 10 minutes to scoop out the lobster meat and split the pasta onto two plates, the food was entirely and utterly COLD! I'm starving, so I finally bite into my food to find the lobster absolutely chewy and overcooked. Not to mention all I got was two lousy tiny pieces. The pasta was completely tasteless, lacking any flavor whatsoever, no salt, no sweetness from the sauce, absolutely 100 percent bland and inedible. A five year old can make better pasta. All three of us at my end of the table agreed the pasta was atrocious. For dessert, I ordered the strawberry sorbet. You would think it's impossible to mess up sorbet. You would be wrong. They messed up the sorbet - served frozen solid and tasting like it had acquired scents from other foods in the freezer. Oh but the nightmare doesn't end there - they inform us they cannot split the check or bring separate checks. They have to bring one big bill for our party of eight and will not accept more than three credit cards or forms of payment, meaning they wouldn't even let one person pay by cash. Yep! They like to make their customers' lives as miserable as possible here. They charged almost 22% gratuity, which is excessive. We had to Zelle each other and figure out a way to make three credit cards work. They will also rip you off with valet. $30!!! And then they have the audacity to charge an undisclosed convenience fee of almost $4 on top of that - fee for what!?!!? - isn't that what the $30 is for??? Plus tip and I almost paid $40 for two hours. Are they running a business here - meant to accommodate their paying customers - or are they running a shit show? The answer is shit show, my friends, they are running a complete shit show! Run away from this place, don't waste your money like I did. I wish I could get my money back. Literally any place else in Miami or Miami Beach will have better food. No ambiance due to the loud music played by the DJ. Only saving grace was a few of the wait staff who warmed up to us and provided good service.

Yelp
10/0 ambience Food is 5.5/10 Service 7/10 - fun party vibes but food doesn't taste as good - limited options in the menu

Yelp
Came here on Saturday party of 6. Really nice decor, super friendly & attentive staff, overall great service. Why 4 stars? Well the prices are aggressive. $75 "to share" lamb chops, for example, were 3 tiny baby chops on a plate. I understand the up charge is for the entertainment & vibes but there comes a point when it becomes unsavory. Either way we had a fun night dancing after dinner. I would recommend coming here for a special occasion but not on a regular basis.

Allison W.

Yelp
This was honestly a very disappointing experience. The food was bland and supbar at best. The service was also not the greatest; I understand they try to give each table a minimum of 2 hours so they can let others enjoy but the whole meal felt very rushed and underwhelming. Overall, I would NOT recommend. Please consider hiring new waiters and cooks. Also, I'm confused about the ambiance. Why does it start so late? Strobe lights are a bit much.

Yelp
Miami spice dinner Friday night was lit ! The food was great and the dessert was delicious ! I highly recommend the octopus and the steak

Peter D.

Yelp
So I confess my part blame for actually expecting Bagatelle to deliver something approaching what I would expect for spending $3k for dinner for two; however, Bagatelle needs to own it's failure to deliver on the thrice promised good table (which never materialized), serving me a 2020 Cote Rotie when the list specified and I ordered a 2018, my waiter dancing with guests while I poured my own wine, and more excuses than delivery. Overall decent food and a good buzz, but don't expect delivery on the level of the exorbitant mark up on the wine list. Go and order some food and water and a glass of house wine but don't expect value for price if you hit the wine list and expect quid pro quo. 5/10. P

Yelp
I went here while on my bachelorette trip in Miami! It was a fun place to go for dinner. They had a DJ playing during dinner so it was a fun spot for a bachelorette.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for a lively experience in Miami Beach! Look no further! The food here is absolutely amazing and they have a live DJ Friday-Sunday! Perfect for birthday parties or GNO. The waitstaff was extremely attentive and the music makes you not want to leave. I want to go back really soon!!

Yelp
We used to go to bagatelle in the previous location, so we decided to give this one a try during Miami Spice. Surprisingly you could choose almost any of the items from the menu for the 3 course affair (some dishes are meant for two or four.) Great !!! The place is very nice, same design as the previous Tatel with a few retouches. It is really weird that they have 2 bars very close to each other. The service was good in general. The sommelier tried to sell us a bottle of wine 4 times over the price that the one we choose. The server was nice and communicative , but did not seem very motivated for work. He disappeared in the middle of the dinner, but the runner picked up the slack very well. We had a cocktails too, they were good, but over priced for what they were.($25) . The food was good. I like that they have the regular dishes with a very Interesting twist and I really appreciate that. Everything tasted good, the steak, the octopus, the carpaccio , the lamb, the crepes, and the tiramisu variation. I just think they overdid it on sauces -- some dishes had the cooking sauce from the pan plus a different sauce on the side. Actually the octopus were crispy on the top but mushy on the bottom due to the sauce. It was Wednesday night and the restaurant was almost empty , and the the vibe was very low key, not what I remember from the different Bagatelle around the world. They asked a couple of time if we were celebrating something. I'm not very outgoing but I even told them I was celebrating exactly our 9 year anniversary. What for? They do not even offer a dessert celebration or a glass of bubbles. No that I need it, but why do you ask if you are not going to take actions about it. . I have to mention fries were really good and Wednesday they have 50 percent discount on wine . Our wine was not cheap, and it has a sediment on the bottom. Check the pictures . BTW The table lightening are not very favorable for the Instagram pictures !!

Yelp
Such a disappointment! We had such high expectations for this restaurant. A party atmosphere and being part of Miami Spice, we thought this would be the perfect place for a fun Saturday night date, boy were we disappointed. From the start, the service left much to be desired. We had a reservation for 10:15, we arrived promptly at 10:05 and asked the hostess if our table was ready, she said it would be a 10 min wait. We weren't seated for at least 40 min! Only after coming up to the hostess multiple times and pushing for a table, were we seated. Additionally, the table we were given was open and available for the full time we were waiting, yet for some reason they refused to seat us. Once we finally got seated, I asked the waitress for the Miami Spice menu options, after all this was the reason we came. We were told that the Miami Spice menu wasn't available on a Saturday night at 10:30, even though I specifically asked if this would be an option when calling and making the reservation. The waitress informed us that the Miami Spice menu was only available till 8pm. This would have been fine if we were told ahead of time, or if they put that as a disclaimer on their website. However, given that we were told that the Miami Spice menu would be available, this was a pure bait and switch. Additionally, given that this restaurant only opens at 7pm, making the Miami Spice menu available until 8pm seems a bit ridiculous. Given that it was late and we didn't feel like going somewhere else, we ordered form the regular menu. The food was good, however, it took a really long time to prepare. Once dinner was complete, I asked for the dessert menu, at which point I was told that dessert wasn't available this late (it was 11:30)! Mind you, no one mentioned that the kitchen was closing, and other tables were still ordering. It has to be said that the atmosphere was very fun and the food we ordered was good. Unfortunately, the horrible services really ruined the whole experience. From the very beginning it felt like they didn't want to service us, from not providing a table, to refusing to serve dessert. Honestly, Bagatelle should learn to treat paying customers better.

Yelp
Came for the dinner and it was amazing expirience. Music is dope, food is delicious. My friends and I enjoyed that place so much.

Yelp
Good vibe but don't go for the food. The food left a lot to be desired. The beef tartare tasted like anything but beef tartare. Portions small. Prawns were only 3 and not much else on the plate. Seems like the people there were tourist searching for the old south beach that doesn't exist anymore. Bagatelle is banking on this, and only this . Entertainment and sound system were fantastic though. Seems like a place for bachelorette parties. Maitre D should try smiling a bit. Worst thing was the desert. We ordered a chocolate pizza and not looked at the price. The Nutella on flour came at a hefty price of $53! Major turn off. (It wasn't even good.). Parking was a nightmare. $40 valet and had to wait 35 minutes for the car plus they added a 10% "credit card" fee. Huh? Never again...
google avatar

Mary Z.

Yelp
Probably my fault for expecting a fine dining experience. That it was not. Food was bland, tastelessand overpriced. Had the zucchini blossoms (horrible) and tartare (just okay). One member of our party had the octopus which was the best at the table. The branzino was just okay. Drinks were interesting but not great. Atmosphere is loud and a side show. Was expecting elegance. My bad.

Yelp
so much fun! amazing music and vibes! the trope sienna was incredibly delicious. would definitely come back!

Yelp
Shamefully huge disappointment. I should've read the yelp reviews before I went. It was while sitting at the table I started reading the yelp reviews and see that they have 2 1/2 stars. I was really surprised to see that. But my surprise became a reality once the food started being served. We ordered $750 worth of caviar. It was not served in the customary way caviar is normally served. I actually wanted to mix it with avocado which I thought was very weird and very on French. The special was fettuccine and lobster. It was $135 per person. Two of us ordered it. We envisioned this would be fettuccine and the cream sauce with the lobster meat. The meal was prepared tableside. They brought out two lobsters for each station to prepare the meal. However the only lobster meat that was mixed in with our fettuccine was the claw meat. Not the tail. Repeat not the tail. They brought the tails out for display But none of the meat went into the pasta. There was enough pasta to feed a table of four on each plate. It had a red sauce and was rather spicy. Again nothing French at all. For dessert I ordered the chocolate soufflé. Again nothing about this was French. It was baked in what I would think was a pie dish and turned upside down and had chocolate syrup poured on top of it. This alleged chocolate soufflé was hard around the edges like a cake would be and not soft or moist on the sides nor on the inside like you would expect from, a Sioufle. This was not a soufflé by any stretch of the imagination. The restaurant itself is rather attractive and Decour. The service was very good. I think the conflict just exist in the kitchen with the chefs. I believe they're all clueless as to what French cuisine is. But if they're paddling to the Miami Beach crowd that are all from South America and this is far as they've reached they are probably absolutely clueless to French cuisine. Having spent $1800 for a party of four, we were greeted to $40 valet parking out front. This is valet parking controlled by the restaurant. So they're going to get a little more cash out of you before you walk out the door. This place is highly overrated and it's one that they will never see another dollar from us again. If you want French cuisine don't go here. I don't know what to call it. Oh yeah one more thing. They're catch of the day is Racino. I'm really curious who caught that fish and was able to get it here in Miami on the same day.

Yelp
Food was horrible. Service horrible. On a Friday it's dead. Will never go back. The staff is so rude.
google avatar

Tonia S.

Yelp
Great ambiance and atmosphere. The food was good. I ordered the lobster pasta and expected a bit more flavor but overall, I still enjoyed the meal. The prawns were excellent. We ordered a number of cocktails which were all great. Friendly staff was an extra bonus.

Yelp
Great service and environment! The dinner style along with the music was exactly what we wanted to experience in Miami
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
This place was fun for the entertainment and they are open late. But music so loud can't hear the waiter. Ordered Lobster dish which said market price. Ask the waiter and heard him say 35, when he must have said 135! With loud music almost impossible to hear clearly. He should have said one hundred thirty five! Anyway I could have put up with the price. If the lobster was actually good. Way over cooked. Lobster should have a little snap to it. Theirs was over cooked. Even had them replace it which took forever. And the 2nd was just as bad! Didn't expect this from such a big name spot! Crudo was average too. Presentation and atmosphere were the best part, but when the food falls so short it is upsetting spending all that hard earned money!!

Yelp
Best night ever. Delicious truffle pizza. Super fun night and amazing show. Yummy food

Yelp
I came here for my bday and have mixed reviews. I felt like there wasn't many options on the menu. For someone who doesn't eat seafood there isn't much to eat here. A lot of the food on Yelp wasn't at the restaurant like all the pastas. I ended up eating mashed potatoes and cheese because of the little options. My friends tried the seafood and said it was just okay. It turns into a party on Friday nights so that is fun. But the performers kept climbing up our table to get to the dance area which is kinda gross when you're eating. My biggest issue was with our server. We would ask him for stuff and never get it. My sister said it was my birthday and that we specifically do not want a chocolate soufflé and he brings out a $30 chocolate soufflé and $30 fruit platter. We couldn't even send it back cuz he was no where to be found after. I would've rather had no dessert it was ridiculously over priced and not good. He also ended up charging us $30 for water eventhough we had tap water. He only took the water off the tab and not the $60 unwanted dessert. Also I asked him to simply take one picture of my friends since it was my birthday and he only took a selfie of himself.

Yelp
Overall, we had a nice experience. The restaurant was easy to make a reservation with. The service was great, and everyone was very attentive. The food was delicious and the recommendations made to us were delightful. We enjoyed both apps very much, and the Lobster Fettuccine (which was a great portion for two). My reason for the 3 stars, is the fact that you are only allowed to be seated for two hours. Three minutes before our 2 hour mark, we were told our time was up and that we needed to pay. I find that to be very unpleasant. It's not pleasant to be timed and rushed to have to exit a restaurant where you're clearly paying a good amount of money to then be "kicked out" of your table. It honestly left a sour taste in my mouth about returning here because of that.

Trina V.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE CELEBRATING A SPECIAL OCCASION. Horrible service and poor excuses. Made a party of 8 women wait 45 minutes for a reservation. The excuse given was that the people who had our table paid "but hadn't left yet". I mean, they could ask them to leave isnt there a 90 minute policy?? Needless to say, we waited around in heels and ended up leaving after waiting almost an hour. Very disappointing since it was a special occasion, and we were all excited to celebrate at Bagatelle. Not to mention the hostess was extremely rude when we asked what was taking so long, she literally said "no one else is complaining, why are you?". and the manager came over and opened a menu in our face and asked us what we wanted to order... while we were standing up in the lobby?? Not to mention it was a bachelorette party we were celebrating, they ruined the night by not handling it well at all. Isn't the point of a reservation to honor our time. Food: 1

Yelp
We've been to bagatelle Cabo bagatelle St tropez Bagatelle tulum and now bagatelle Miami and none of them have disappointed, we're at the Miami location now and the service has been one of the best. The staff is amazing always there and super friendly and nice. The food sis not disappoint. The lychee martini 3/5. The ambiance go after 9pm for an extra good time.

Yelp
Extremely overpriced for the quality of food and service. But still not as bad as some of the other party dinner establishments in town so I guess that's a good thing? I mean I get it, no one is coming here for the food but at least try harder. These places all have the same formula, same songs, same acts, same basic food and same level of feeling ripped off when you leave. Unfortunately it's Miami and someone's gonna invite you to a dinner/party place. Out of towners looking for the Miami experience, birthdays, special occasions, etc and it's an a***** move to not go. Venn diagram overlap of cringe, trashy and fake yayyyyy
google avatar

Simisola L.

Yelp
I felt extremely let down by my birthday dinner experience. Despite requesting a long table to accommodate my sizable group, I didn't receive assistance until an hour after my reservation time. The hostess displayed rudeness and had our party split between tables, making everyone shift uncomfortably from one table to another. It was an embarrassing situation, and the lack of an apology only added to the disappointment. I cannot recommend this place for hosting large parties.

Yelp
I am surprised this restaurant has such negative reviews. The service was impeccable. The staff alone deserves 5 stars. They were attentive, polite, and served us each dish onto our individual plates. This is not something that most restaurants do even. The only reason I took one star off is the portions are small for the price. Otherwise, the food was amazing. The ambiance was even better. Great vibes and great time.

Yelp
Great ambiance that transcends you back to the 80's (if you were alive then). The vibe was amazing! The staff were attentive and great and the food was yummy. We were there for a private event that included passing horsd'oeuvres and beverages. This is definitely a place for a date, solo or a group night out. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of the food (sorry) because they made it faster to my mouth than and I ran out of time to snap a photo. I was STARVING! It was good time. I'll be back and will certainly take photos. Hope you make it out there! Enjoy!

Yelp
I came here for a friends birthday dinner, never heard of the place prior. It's nice inside, dark ambiance personable staff and everyone was very welcoming. Everything was served family style, we ordered a bunch of items and shared. One thing to note that they were pretty busy on a Thursday night, yet I felt like we were the only table at the restaurant. I finished my wine? More was poured. I finished eating? My plate was quickly removed and my table settings were refreshed for more. It was a very warming experience. Like the staff was intentionally there to ensure I had a great experience. They had a dj which I first thought was odd as the décor and environment seemed initially more mellow and calm but when I tell you I rarely get out of my seat and dance.... this place you just have to. You dance like no ones watching. And I mean everyone, customers, staff ... everyone is just having a great time. The music is more upbeat, house-ish music with a twist? If that makes any sense lol I listen to a variety of music and I enjoyed the mix very much. They occasionally raise the volume a bit to get the vibe going then lower it to keep the tone. It was a perfect balance of an enjoyable dinner without it being like clubish. Ok, so the food...... More of a fine dining establishment, this is not your 2-3 $$ vibe lol.. smallish portions but packed with flavor and made with love. We ordered the : Faux-fi let de Wagyu grade 7, sauce au poivre - Grade 7 Wagyu beef stri loin, pepper sauce and we added the extra black truffle. Juicy and a little creamy but rich in flavor. perfection. The Gambas grillées, tomates marinées au persil - grilled prawns which were absolutely phenomenal. Pommes de terre soufflées - puffed potatoes were good, I could've lived without it but they weren't bad. Bar rôti de Méditerranée aux artichauts violets - Mediterranean roasted sea bass, smoked and crispy purple artichokes. Was delicious, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned 10/10 would reccomend. Légumes de saison en tempura, gomasio au basilic - seasonal tempura veggies were devine! Different but delicious. Tartare de thon Bagatelle - tuna tartare - amazing too ! We also ordered beef tartare, scallop ceviche - i'm sure there's more but that's all I can remember. I can honestly say - nothing disappointed !! We ordered a bottle of Moet, I didn't try anything from the cocktail menu but want to return to explore that as well. Overall great vibe, great energy and a great time !

Yelp
This entire night was so fun! Our bartender Diego was amazing and gave great cocktails recommendations. Danny, our busser was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. And when the party started we got invited to Dance with the DJ! Such a great team and the food was 10/10

Yelp
Great service and definitely a vibe. Good DJ and busy on a Friday night but drink refills immediately!

Yelp
Really disappointed in this place. We were running late so i called bagatelle and let them know that i was going to be late and to hold the table. When i got there the bouncer was giving us issues with my international friends passport which made us more late. Inside, the hostess told us that they only hold tables for 15 minutes and gave our table away. We were only 3 minutes past the 15 minute late mark.... We ended up sitting and waiting for 30 minutes until we gave up and walked elsewhere. This really ruined the mood of the night, which was supposed to be a celebration of my engagement with my friends.

Yelp
Looking to go out for dinner with some friends, a Miami native had made reservations for Bagatelle for us on a Saturday night (party of 5). Upon walking in, they definitely displayed a fine dining experience from the entrance. We were greeted and taken care of by Assistant general manager Hicham. Upon being seated behind the Dj, we ordered a bunch of dishes. We tried the tuna and steak tartare, crispy fish fritters, and piccia truffle. All the appetizers were amazing. For entrees we all split the whole fish and black angus loin. The live filleting of fish was very professional and all the staff members were extremely friendly. Service was actually fast for a full restaurant. The DJ played a great playlist full of energy. We had a blast. Hicham did an amazing job checking in on us from time to time, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, this is probably not the best place as there are many lively celebrations going on. Overall an amazing and fun dining experience in south beach. I will definitely return and try some other things on the menu.

Yelp
You need to get rid of the band! It's way too loud to even enjoy a conversation or dinner with friends and family. Couldn't even hear the waitress. HORRIBLE!!!

Yelp
Do not go here!! Such a money scam they only care about tips!! I went to Miami for my friend's birthday and reserved Bagatelle months in advance. That morning we had our bags stolen with our IDs and we were already having a horrible day. We are of age and look of age, but I called the restaurant and they said no worries about the IDs, we put a note in your system and you are good to go. Once we got there, the bouncer said he sees the note but doesn't care and won't let us in. He would only let in people who paid him $300+. This group of kids next to us did not have IDs but got in by venmoing the bouncer and paying him $350 cash. Such a scam! We had to leave at 11:00pm on her birthday and went to bed starving because we couldn't find any other place that would seat us. Never going back again, horrible experience

Yelp
Pretty much a dump. Let's get started. Pull into valet and the Uber can't clear the tight roundabout. Humorous joke. There are 2 wannabe cars in the front blocking and the poor Uber driver had to back out since the front was too tight. Then you get to the doorman. I mean a pic would've been more appropriate but here's a breakdown: cheap wrinkled cotton suit with clashing pinstripe tie. He warns us that the tables have a 2 hour limit. Huh? Okay. We go in. Place reeks. More wannabe action. People have Run-DMC Halloween style costumes. I joked with one of the employees (who was wearing a RUN DMC t-shirt) whether they'd be performing tonight. He asks, "who's Run DMC?" I showed him a picture and he looked down at his chains and t-shirt he was uniformed into and the light bulb went off. Anyway dinner time. Try the local IHOP or Denny's (which is totally unfair to them as they have far superior food and service). The waiter reeks of halitosis as he's trying to enunciate the specials. He can barely explain the food but we remain respectful. For whatever reason he had an attitude. He too is in a RUN DMC outfit: "It's tricky." He's just pushing and pushing for us to keep ordering. Meanwhile, I'm just moving and moving as I'm trying to avoid the bad breath as he's speaking over the DJ's awkward choice of 70s music with the 80s hip-hop theme attire. Moving on, if you want to enjoy an all-time laugh get the tuna tartar. You'll enjoy canned level quality. It may be worth the humor just to see it. Listen, eat before you come if you're set on seeing this comedy show. Heck, drink too. They skimp on the -OH to the point that you're wondering if there's any in there. No point in discussing the food cause it's embarrassing. Dessert is on another level poor too just for the record (which they put under your plate btw). After 2 hours our sit down meter was up. They told us it was time to move on. I told him, "you be 'illin". I was more than happy to leave. Forget the money, it's a total waste of time. You can keep the hundreds you pick-pocketed me for. You'll need it when you go belly up. Try HaSalon OR anywhere else if you're looking for a good time in Miami. We are staying at Hotel 1 and we will be sure to let them know of our experience. Wish I had read these in advance.
