Customer service was so so. The staff behind the register was friendly when ringing us out. Our server didn’t do anything wrong, but the service felt very minimal. For example, She didn’t check on us during the meal, we had to wave her down when I requested to change my coffee. We also waited quite a while for her to acknowledge that we were finished and ready for the check. On to the food. They have lots of options including breakfast and lunch. The bagels are baked fresh in house daily. The everything bagel was a nice add on to my SEC. I got a side of home fries and the portion was excellent. They have their own varieties of cream cheese and although the blueberry bagel was fresh although I saw the blueberries i didn’t pick up any blueberry flavor. The iced coffee wasn’t good at all. She was kind enough to switch it to hot which was better. Being from up north I was excited that they carry juniors cheesecake but both slices, the original and red velvet tasted stale. Ultimately we threw out both slices- it’s a different type of hurt spending money on food that’s not up to par but more disappointing that it tasted so bad had to throw it away.

Always a hit. My boys have allergies and they love BBE so it says a lot about how they accommodate. Great variety. Big portions. Friendly staff. I always try something new each visit. Today, quite possibly the best turkey club I’ve had.

I found this hidden gem accidentally. The food was huge and the fries are not frozen and made fresh. The Bagel Bar is also breakfast all day. Food was delicious, a must visit.

Visited Bagel Bar for brunch with the family. It was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was nice. The food is hit or miss. The Reuben sandwich is large and delicious. I truly enjoyed it. My son had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was dry, and Waffles was good, My daughters had different omelettes. They were bland, and the egg had no flavor at all. One of them had the French toast, which was really good. The lady that took our orders was not that friendly and in a rush to move to the next table or whatever she needed to do next. Overall, it was not a bad experience, not that a great one either. But it was indeed a good brunch experience with the family.

My potatoes were extremely burnt/crispy. The bagel was good but was prepared different. I would get a bagel egg ham cheese sandwich and it was like scrambled eggs with diced ham and a small amount of ham. It was still delicious but not prepared the way it’s usually prepared.

Celebrated my birthday at Bagel Bar East and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, the owner's warm welcome set the tone for a memorable experience. The attentive service and cozy ambiance made us feel right at home. The breakfast spread was phenomenal, offering a variety of delicious options to indulge in. The everything bagel was perfectly toasted and generously topped, while the oatmeal was hearty and comforting. The waffle was a delightful combination of crispiness on the outside and fluffy goodness on the inside, accompanied by a selection of toppings that added bursts of flavor with every bite. And let's not forget about the omelet – cooked to perfection with a fluffy texture and filled with an array of savory ingredients.

Pastrami cooked to perfection,so was the fries. Menu is good. Although our server was all over the place and forgot some of our orders, we enjoyed our meal. Once again, a great menu; the pastrami is always delicious, as is everything else on the menu, Great coffee! A nice place to have breakfast with family and friends. The service is very good. Friendly and fast. Everything was on point!

My wife and I moved from Miami 12 years ago to Naples where the deli scene was totally barren. We moved back a few months ago and have been ordering online from Bagel Bar East in North Miami and let me tell you it is the best deli we have tried this side of Katz's in New York. The deli sandwiches and smoked fish platters are unbelievably good and abundant. This morning for my wife's birthday. I ordered the Sturgeon platter. We haven't had sturgeon for probably 15 years and it was so good., we have no words to express it. I could not recommend them more

Really wish I could say 4.5 stars. I was bothered by the numerous flys outside but the outdoor seating area was too cute not to sit. Very decent small place in a nothing location. Quite the gem. The servers and ppl behind the register were very nice. Received my food very quickly. Tasted great. Finally a place in Miami that can cook good grits. Loved the menu. Good options. And everything comes with a bagel. The portion size to price is exactly what you want. Can't wait to go back

Bagel Bar has been around forever!!! Today was the day I was in the mood for comfort food. I haven't been here in a few months and noticed right away there was a whole new staff. Perhaps the kitchen remains the same but the front of house was definitely different. It missed that warm and inviting feel. Went during the lunch hour and surprisingly it was kind of empty. Ordered a roast beef on a Kaiser Roll and coffee. Bread was stale, roast beef was tasty and the macaroni salad was good. Service was meh. No refills on coffee or checking in. Something definitely felt different. Perhaps best to order take out? I don't know but the stale bread was off putting. :( Not sure I'll be back.

I discovered this place because I wanted a bagel sandwich. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area with parking in back. The ambiance was nice and it looks like a great place to sit with friends and enjoy or grab take out like I did. I enjoyed my Salmon Bagel Sandwich with the coleslaw on the side. I saw some unfamiliar food items in the large displays and asked for a recommendation. I tried the Potato Knish. The service was so amazing that the gentlemen wrote instructions for me to heat at home with temperature and time. I look forward to trying the Spinach Knish next time. I loved the Cinnamon Roll because the icing was on the side and it was not to sweet.

Literally drive down from Tampa this morning, arriving before 11 AM on a Sunday and the parking lot was packed, and the restaurant was packed, but we were able to sit at the counter. Our server was hustling, but she was friendly. My husband polished off his salt bagel with nova smear, and my onions, eggs and lox was yummy and filling. Their challah is fantastic too. Bought one two weeks ago when we were here and it was delicious. Loved the friendly Cuban gentleman at the register whom I spoke to for a while... be sure to give him some NY Mets love!!!

Bagel bar looked good from afar but it was far from good, more like mediocre. I sat at the bar and ordered a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese and it came out untoasted and not even sliced. That was annoying, but the server fixed it. Things really did not improve from there. The bagel was bland and tough. Not a fan.

No frills, no fuss--just a counter, some coffee, and bagels that make you forget you're hundreds of miles from Brooklyn. Bagel Bar East isn't just good for Miami. It's good, period. The best in town, maybe the best in the state. Once you find it, you don't go anywhere else.

Been coming for few years, unfortunately the service has declined significantly. Management is bit rude and obnoxious with their customers. Since the pandemic they have random fees and do not disclose on any menus, signs or verbal communication. The ambiance could change for positive.

Clean atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent food. The staff does an outstanding job keeping the outside area--tables with a covering--clean and available for new guests. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but turnover is pretty quick.

As usual best breakfast ever!!! Service wonderful, ambience really nice!!! It's like having breakfast with the family! Gaby is a great lady , she was sweet enough to give my husband a cookie for my husband's birthday!

Bagel Bar East brings you back to the bagel joints up north with their decor, service, and amazing bagels. Servings are large. Bagels are perfect. You see neighborhood regulars. Even though I was happily full I also purchased a package of mini black and white cookies to take home. Yummy!

This place is solid. Good lox, but okay bagel. They're put together a nice group platter for events

Strike 3 . This time I had The Eggs Benedict with a stale muffin, a boiled egg , tasteless ham and then drowned in some disgusting sauce. Overpriced for the cheap ingredients used. The stars are for the Service which was friendly and professional.

Orders half dozen bagels at 7 Sunday morning, expecting hot fresh bagels and got day old stale bagels. Thankfully Uber eats refunded. Nicely and as a courtesy I called the place to tell them they had stale egg and plain bagels. The lady was nice enough and I told her I didn't want anything. Later I got calls from a No Caller ID, and finally after multiple calls I answered and a guy was saying he gave me fresh bagels, which is really funny but also little creepy. I am sure it was an accident, but being from NY I know a bagel quite well and these were only toastable , too stale to eat fresh, which is what I thought I would get at 730am on a Sunday. Update 10/14/24- this guy at the bagel place has now called me 10 times since yesterday all to tell me he sold me fresh bagels, which he didn't. This was not a big deal until this harassment. Further contact and I will be engaging law enforcement.

Great food. The service is very friendly . Clean and with big windows so it's very bright bright. Love it for brunch or lunch.

Our lunch here took nearly 3 hours due to slow service. We needed to ask for our dishes multiple times and remind them what we ordered. The vibe was nice and food was good, though.

Came here on a Saturday morning and the place was BUMPING. Bagel Bar East has dine in or takeout options - we opted to get in line for takeout. The menu is vast and has many breakfast options (which is what we were looking for). The bagels are very tasty - my only complaint has to be that I ordered a whole wheat everything bagel and was dismayed to find that when I got home, I received a whole wheat bagel only. * womp womp * The corned beef hash was good as well. The schmears are the way to go though in my opinion - the large containers in the cold case are a testament to how popular they are. Whether you get the plain or a flavored kind, the texture is smooth and flavors are on point. I love how there are cases of sweets, cookies, and a mini-market of sorts around the take-out area. The order took about 20 minutes, which was impressive given how busy the restaurant was.

The food is good as always but I will not be going but there because of the owner Steve as he does not know how to treat a customer when they have a legitimate complaint. Our server , who constantly can't bring the bagels with the eggs , brought them 5 minutes after our food. When asked why you always do this , his response " you must tell you want your bagels with your eggs . Steve the owner, when I went to pay I posted the same question he answered the same and then said " life is tough out there " . I paid and yes I shook my head and he made fun n of me doing this . So now Steve you lost a customer and the hats and shirts you gave us being good customer's will go to another place .

I ordered a bagel with nova cream cheese. I had to keep spitting out terrible tasting things in it, then a big worm like thing came out which I told myself was an unknown object like a tube of paper, but I knew it wasn't. Anyway, I started feeling sick and ended up in the bathroom getting rid of whatever made me sick. Be careful what you choose to eat there. The bagels are good tho.

It is sad that if you do not train your staff correctly they can destroy your business. Yesterday I went for breakfast and I ask for a side of Pastrami , when I received the bill they charged me 18$ , insane , the new server want to maximize my bill for better tips but in reality he made me to think twice to go back to this place . I have been in this place for years but sometimes I need to write things when service is not good for the owner . I hope the owner read it and teach this thug how to be honest and fair with guest . Next time I will not order anything as a side dish because I'm afraid to get screwed.

Had a wonderful breakfast here last week. A veggie omelet with a bagel. The service was great and genuine. Everyone at this establishment is super nice. I was actually surprised on how nice they were. I wish other restaurants in Miami had staff like this. The food was very good, but not great! Please set realistic expectations before going. I am visiting my Family on Miami Beach and was looking for a bagel spot for breakfast. I've passed by this location for years and I haven't been around the way for some time and wow what a renovation! The place looks brand new. We walked in and we were seated very quickly, took two minutes before someone took our drink order. I got to say everything was delicious! I got a bagel with bacon, egg and cheese with some home fries which I couldn't finish it all. My nephew had a huge bagel with cream cheese and jelly; and my mother had a chicken salad with a bagel and coleslaw. I had a try of the chicken salad and it was very clean, not overloaded with mayonnaise with great amount of seasoning and chunks of white chicken, so good! I'm making this my breakfast spot from now on! They also have a deli section where they make sandwiches, great idea before heading to the beach, bye bye Pub***! I would definitely recommend anyone to go here. *PS, we went on a Friday morning

We got here and waited 15 mins to get a server. Many servers wandering around and we waited a bit but no one came around. Didn't even serve water, napkins, nothing. Shoutout to the man in the cashier though, he was lovely.

Bagel bar east did not disappoint ! I recommend the matzo ball soup . The portions are great for the price . Very homey food

Food is good as usual They added a new tv and surprised and disappointed it is showing CNN Suggestion....either put one tv on CNN and the other on Fox....or put both on sports....or upset the higher percentage of customers that don't care for cnn

12-10-22 Noon I was in North Miami holiday shopping and got hungry so I turned to Yelp for a good bagel place. So I head further South to this place. Once I arrived the confusion started there's a tent in the parking lot?! Ok so people can eat outside, nice. So directly behind I find an available space must be my lucky day. Once inside they guy at the cash register I told him I was one can I sit at the counter. He gives me a menu and I sit down. I access the situation quickly it's clean and bright and very busy. I get acknowledged and so I decide now hey they got deli let's see. The specialty sandwich caught my eye corned beef double with Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and Cole slaw I am there. It's called New York meets Miami Beach. I got potato salad as a side. Even though it was ginormous I easily ate half a sandwich. Funny they didn't ask about the bread but what else is there in this world if it isn't rye bread. I am in love. I have to tell you there is a lot of bad deli in South Florida but today I lucked out! To say I will be back quickly is an understatement! Trying to think of my next party that they could cater. Brought home a chicken salad wrap for hubby and a kasha Knish for later. I truly died and went to heaven coming here.

Best bagel!! Fresh. Cream cheese was fabulous and there was excellent customer service. And since it opens early and is so close to the beach, I got a gorgeous Sunday sunrise!

Jewish delis for brunch are always a great option. In terms of portion size, value & consistency BBE is at the top of the pack in North Dade. Outdoor seating continues to be appreciated. Never a wait and quick service. Breakfast burrito and monte cristo sandwich are my favorite for breakfast. For lunch any corned beef, pastrami or turkey sandwich hits the spot.

What a great breakfast spot. Fresh bread and bagels. I go with sesame lightly toasted with the block butter. Couple eggs and grits and today tried the turkey sausage. Very good. Feels like your typical NY style Jewish deli spot. The owner Steve is always there taking to customers and running the place and the staff is amazingly attentive. Great place overall. I love bagel bar! The best Jewish deli in Miami, their bagels and pastrami sandwiches are amazing. The service is very good too, portions are huge. Their bakery goodies are all freshly baked and delicious.

BEWARE OF CATERING!! I hosted a family brunch for 16 people today (Sunday) at my home. I called Bagel Bar earlier in the week (Thursday) to place my large order to be delivered at my home at 10:30AM. By 11AM nothing had arrived. As you can imagine, I was getting nervous since I had 16 people arriving an hour later. I called the restaurant to check on my order and the first woman who answered told me she had no recollection of my order and only said "see, this is why I like to handle catering so it doesn't get screwed up. But I took three days off from this crazy restaurant. Hang on let me check with my colleague. She is trying to remember." Her colleague got on next and did remember after looking through some papers. But they hadn't prepared or sent out the order for delivery. With no real apology she only said they would get it to me as soon as they could. So, with just a few minutes to spare before my guests arrived, the food finally did- leaving us scrambling to set everything up before folks walked in the door. What a mess for something that could have been so smooth. And thank goodness I called or we would have had a brunch with no food.

Tried this place for the first time, and it was a sure bet. They open at 630 - as an early bird this is a double plus. The staff is super engaging the moment you walk through the door. The service was great. I hate it when I forget the servers names. So, I will describe him. Black hair, medium height, big smile and really cool attitude. He was very patient with the human who had not been awake long enough to be coherent. Thank you for that. Now, on to the food. Coffee was on point...not too strong not too weak. We ordered a Mexican omelet (tomatoes, peppers, onions and cheddar), grits and bagels. I shared the meal with my sister. She had an everything bagel with chive cream cheese. I had an egg bagel with veggie cream cheese. It was all delicious. The veggies in the cream cheese were everything you'd want in fresh veggies. The human had the short stack, scrambled eggs and bacon. He enjoyed every last bite. The human actually compared the place to one of our regular bagel places in NY but bigger. I found this place recently and thought I would share it, since I've been back 8 times. As a deli this establishment is a 8 out of 10. Realize we are not in New York. However, the pastrami and cornedbeef here is good. I am a big fan of their Macaronis salad as a side. I just finished the farmer omelet and it was good as well. Service is friendly and very courteous.

Moved to the area two years ago. I'm amazed that, in an area with so many Jewish people, I can't find a place that makes a good bagel!! To date, Bagel Bar is the best. I have to travel down from Aventura to get them but, that's where I get my bagels. Are they as good as NYC bagels? No, but they're the best that we have found in this area. After stopping multiple times to simply to pick up a dozen bagels, I decided it was time to actually eat breakfast there. The place has a hip, in place vibe that reminds me of places in NYC. The wait staff are friendly and efficient and the food is killer good. I had the corn flakes crusted French toast and my wife had the tailor ham home fries and eggs (with a bagel of course). All was made to perfection. We'll definitely be back! The only negative is the parking. It's so crowded (which is actually kind of cool) but, because of this, their little parking lot just can't handle it all. Cars park on the grass, on the side streets and across 123rd street. However, if you can get a spot (come early), it's well worth the visit.

everything about every visit is perfect. The food reminds me of growing up on Miami Beach at some of the best delis on earth. And my grandmother was friends with the Wolfie, the unique layout of the store it's almost as if you're eating on vacation. And the staff treat you as if you're at home you're not in a rush you're not ignored. You're just part of the family. You'll get what you get and it will be perfect and if it's not, they'll fix it. I love this place and I always will.

We stopped in for breakfast before a day on Miami Beach. Happy that we did! I prefer a "dense" bagel and that is how I would describe them here. Breakfast was served quickly and the service was friendly. We will be back next time we're in the area.

Loving this place that is right next door to our daughters new apartment. Tons of options and just like a traditional Jewish Deli it's bustling and offers that no frills all hands on deck service. Love their take out options too : pancakes to go! Black and white colores I see uuu Definitely will become a go to pit stop for them to fuel yo their Sunday brunches.

Good food always, one thing is be patient staff is nice and food is fresh. The spreads, baked goods, bagels, and everything in between is delightful! Nova plater with chive spread is my go 2 along with the 2 egg special everything bagel and extra chive spread. YuM

This is my brunch spot. Big variety of breakfast and lunch. Food made fresh and great humorous staff. The spot looks very small from the outside but it's pretty big inside plus clean bathroom wow Yes Clean Bathroom! Food is delicious!

I gauge my reviews on location/atmosphere, customer service, quality of food, quality of drink, and any other bonuses or fouls. I have worked a lot of service jobs, cooked and consumed at loads of restaurants, and had my fair share of beverages from Dallas to NYC to Hong Kong to your mom's house and it pains me to have to leave a negative review. A lot of businesses justifiably blame certain issues on the pandemic while some are full of sh*t and just suck. While I cannot attest to prepandemic quality or lack there of, this place is just not there and I pray that they can turn some things around and make this high traffic subpar establishment a thriving spot so no one has to experience the disappointment and frustration that I had to. We arrived and were seated, 5 adults and 1 baby, immediately. Watching plates pass by our table, I got pretty excited and overanalyzed the menu contemplating on whether or not I'd order breakfast or lunch. I decided on the Cuban because I felt the whole "When in Rome" thing. And just like that, I snapped back to reality and realized that no one had approached our table after 15 minutes. As an owner, a manager, a service staff that relies on customer satisfaction/attention and tips, you'd think that a table with a 1 year old should be taken care of quickly so the parents don't give up and pull out. . .NOPE. I approach the host after he made the rounds chatting with guests he clearly knew and informed him of our dilemma. Shortly after this our soon to be waitress rushes by our table, points to me, and informs me that she's very busy. I look at my wife SHOOK like was our first interaction with our waitress THAT? Now my reviews can tend to be thorough, overanalyzed, and clearly created by an intelligent, well traveled, well endowed and handsomely striking man but this place will not be granted my literary wizardry. Short and bitter of it is that this place had ok food but the customer service ruins everything. Perhaps follow the most current reviews to see if they're turning around but I don't recommend this place. Better off at IHOP, at least then your expectations won't be suffocatingly depressed post pay check.

This was a to go order. Easy parking, as soon as I walked in I was asked if I could be helped. I picked a few bagels to take to work, they toasted them and gave individual cream chasses and packed them so nicely. Everyone at work loved them! I loved the veggie cream cheese! I'll definitely be going back.

Great place for breakfast... service was on point while seating outside tables with my dog..waitress Andrea offered water for my pet which I found to be a nice touch...food came up on a timely manner and I LOVE their corn beef hash and potatoes ... being at this place many times and always enjoyed it

I don't know how i haven't been here more, seeing how it's such a local spot, but 10/10 would recommend! The bagels are so soft and fresh and the cream cheese melts in your mouth. It's made to perfection. I'm a Jersey girl and we love our bagels, Bagel Bar East taste like home.
