Bagel Boy

What a classic place that is clearly loved by locals. Went in the morning for breakfast AND came back for lunch, would you believe it? Both times there was a line, attesting to this place being a SF institution. Workers were fast and plenty, super nice. The bagels came out super warm and fresh and had a nice crunch to them. Overall great place and close to campus.

Best bagels ever, glad I came here instead of pita pit. Was going to save one sandwich but ate the bull sandwich and Italian right away. Made me appreciate the bagel yummyy

Really fantastic stop. Happened to drive by last night and committed to stop here for breakfast. Great place! Wonderful texture. Made a smoked salmon with egg loaded up on an everything bagel. Soooooo good

Ordered 2 philly cheesesteak and chicken cordon blue. Worse sandwiches ever dry and bland chicken was so dry i about choked on it. The bagle was hard, for 20.00 you think you at least get off the bone ham no it was the over processed deli type . For first impressions i would not return.

Always a good experience here. The staff is super friendly, they have a good variety of bagels, spreads, and toppings. They also have great breakfast sandwiches available, and they offer several different coffees and teas. Everything there is pretty affordable and is a great place to get your morning coffee/food fix.

Awesome bagel shop. Great service fast and friendly. The food was great cooked, perfectly lots of toppings. I tried the Italian, it was fire.

A must stop every time we're in town. Every single time! Real bagels boiled and baked perfectly. Add whatever you want on them. Toasted and sliced.... made to order, organized and always fresh. This place is always busy and that's a great sign. Very clean and organized. Many cold specialty drinks also. I love this place.

Very friendly fast staff. Worst egg and cheese sandwich I've ever had. Soggy only one side toasted and still soggy. I'm from the east Coast so I'm also just picky about bagels I also got a single bagel also not great. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The muffins and scones looked good maybe they are better.

We stopped in for breakfast and it was so yummy! The bagels were fresh and my ham, egg, and cheese bagel was delicious!

Delicious bagel sandwiches. My friend worked at Bagel Boy in High School, 25 years ago, and I moved away but recently came back and was amazed that Bagel Boy is still in business! It's always busy. It's a Sioux Falls staple! The women at my gym also talk about how great it is and meet up there for mid-morning bagels and coffee. So, I had to try it out for myself! I got the 'fish' which is the smoked salmon with red onion, tomatoes and capers. I do no cream cheese because they don't offer diary-free cream cheese. I have to bring my sandwich home and add it myself, but that's okay and it's still very delicious. Get it toasted! I wish they offered iced coffee with non-dairy creamer and I wish they had pumpernickel bagels. Otherwise, very good!

I've been coming to Bagel Boy nearly every time I'm in town for 15+ years now so this is well over due. Stopped in today and was able to buy lunch for 3 people for $25 (prices have hardly changed since 2010). Delicious bagels and great service. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend the BLT or the Smoking Fish

Love Bagel Boy! Was actually a bit surprised that there was still a pretty long line near closing time on a Sunday. Lots of selection left though. Seating area is fairly spacious. It is usually filled with college students, given the proximity to a couple local schools. Can get breakfast or lunch any time. Grab a couple (or a couple dozen) to go to keep your bagel needs going at home.

Walked in and it was busy. My first time being there, the lovely ladies up front assumed it wasn't my first time and were not patient with me ordering. However kept a smile and kept the line moving!! Pick what you want then go to the extras. Everything was fabulous. They also had a variety of calypso lemonades which was a surprise and made the time that much better. If we're talking vibes...? It's giving... I've never been laid and I'm too good for Starbucks. HAPPY EATING! -ash

Bought a sack of bagels and cream cheese told them not to toast then. Bagels were not as goood as usual - pretty tough! Also why were they cut into fourths!! Had to toast them in the oven!!! I think they were day old ???? They were ok when toasted

Normally I have such great, fast service. My latte was amazing, my bagel however took forever and was made wrong. When I was waiting to tell the gal (red head, working with the other slow girl with blonde and pink hair) what type of cream cheese I wanted she dismissed me and when I confirmed what flavor I wanted she told me I said plain. Then after 3 people who got their toasted bagels before me even though I ordered my breakfast boy first it came out wrong. I ordered a bacon breakfast boy, I got only bacon and cheese on a semi-toasted bagel. Unfortunately I was already on my way out of town when I opened my sandwich and saw this.

Best bagel spot west of the Mississippi, seriously great spot, get a sausage breakfast boy on a cinnamon crunch bagel, and a turkey club on Asiago add bacon scallion cream cheese. Don't ask anymore questions just do it
