They dem boyz!
That was my hope anyway, when me and a group of yelpers came in for some mid day bagels. Having never been to Bagel Boys Cafe, and not being a bagel expert, I was really excited for what bagel boys had to offer!
We came around noon, so in addition to bagels (both savory and sweet), you have access to breakfast, Egg, and lunch bagel sandwiches. Other specials like Paninis, wraps salads and even bagel hot dogs complete the line up.
On this day I ordered the westerner ($4.99), a french toast bagel + plain cream cheese ($2.75), and a cup of Jittery Joe coffee: ($2.29)
Right off the bat, the french toast bagel was DEEEEELICIOUS!! I'd never even heard of a french toast bagel, and to be fair, to me it didn't taste french toasty, but those large granules of sugar sprinkled on the bagel, paired with the plain cream cheese, was really good! The bagel wasn't tough, super chewy or cakey either. Nice one guys!
The westerner, which is an egg sandwich with egg, pepper jack, onion, bell pepper and ham on a multi grain bagel, sounded much better than it tasted I think. My main complaints were that I couldn't taste the cheese, the pepper jack had zero kick, and I couldn't taste the ham.
The Jittery joe coffee was not a bad cup of joe, and with multiple self serve options, you can mix and match it however you like.
Customer service at Bagel Boys Cafe is very friendly, and even though they couldn't answer certain questions I had, they happily went looking for the answer in terms of allergies.
Parking is in a shared lot that isn't huge, but were enough for us all to get spots, and getting into/out of the lot onto Peachtree Dunwoody road wasn't bad.
Nice little bagel shop, with some excellent eats that I hopes hangs around a while!
